본 연구의 목적은 과학영재학생들의 우주개발사업에 대한 가치판단과 의사결정 과정을 탐색하기 위함이다. 이를 위하여 영재학교 1학년 64명의 학생이 1달 동안 의사결정을 위한 세미나 식 토론수업을 총 10차시에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 세미나식 토론 수업을 실시한 후, 우주개발사업에 대한 글쓰기와 설문지를 활용하여 영재학생들의 가치판단과 의사결정을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 과학영재학생들은 우주개발사업의 양면인 필요성과 위험성을 모두 인식하고 있었으며, 각자의 상황에서 증거를 선택하고 해석하는 차이 그리고 다양한 가치에 대한 우선순위의 차이에 따라 의사결정 결과가 상이함을 발견할 수 있었다. 대다수의 영재학생들이 우주개발사업의 사회적 중요성에 대해서는 매우 잘 인식하고 있는 점과 달리 우주개발사업에 대한 정보가 영재학생들에게 많이 부족한 실정임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 토대로 우주개발사업에 대한 SSI교육의 시사점과 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

메이커 운동은 DIY 문화에서 비롯된 오픈소스 메이킹의 일환으로서 정보통신기술의 발달에 따라 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 결합을 통한 제작 활동을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 전세계적으로 나타나고 있는 메이커 운동에 대한 현황 및 트렌드를 분석하고 이를 토대로 메이킹 교육의 활성화를 위한 프레임 워크를 설계함으로써 우리나라의 교육과정에서 활용될 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 본 연구에서는 메이커 운동 및 메이킹 교육에 대한 현황 및 트렌드를 분석하여 메이킹 문화 확산을 위한 프레임워크를 설계하고. 학교현장에서 적용할 수 있는 학교급별 활용 방안을 나타내었다. 또한, 메이킹 교육을 위하여 학교단위 메이킹 스페이스를 구축할 경우 요구되는 구성방안을 제시하기 위하여 사례를 분석하고 방향을 제시하였다.

The study is focused on making space of the abolished primary school for college dormitory in rural area which has regional type nearby city. We, firstly, analysed regional conditions and then surveyed various data for space conditions of dormitory. By surveying exterior space and interior renovation, and analysing the actual conditions of dormitory, we propose design factors and model of using facilities of the abolished primary school. So, the purpose of it is to suggest making space and a model of dormitory utilization of abolished school in regional type nearby city. It is a spacial case of re-using facilities of abolished school in rural area, but we expect that abolished school make an offer another type of using facilities.

Recently, many people can experience the virtual space by smartphone, and they use many games. In particular, this change has great implications in the collaborative and communicative planning paradigm, which is residents' participation and agreement becoming important in community making and urban design. This study analyze the case of the five virtual space games about community making and urban design, and examine the related regal system. Game users can construct roads, houses, buildings and facilities in the virtual city. Then, they create profit, and promote the growth of virtual city. In these games, construction elements are classified residential, commercial, industrial, parks, green spaces, public building, and roads. But these elements does not identified clearly, and they mixed. By analyzing of related regal system, these games focus on the individual buildings, spaces, and facilities rather than considering the terms of urban planning. To complement the virtual space game with the aspects of urban planning, these games can encourage the participation capability and enhance the communication skills of citizens.

Community-based design is also becoming important in Korea recently. However, the existing design methods of the "conformity" method had the problem of excluding the participation of residents. Therefore, the "decision-making" method, in which residents participate in the design themselves, is drawing attention. Development of specific methods is important for residents to actively participate in "decision making." The theory of "Design Games" has long been studied as a method of community-based design in many countries. The old downtown areas of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province are increasing in number of buildings abandoned due to aging and declining. Abandoned buildings are causing many social problems. A decision-making method has been developed in Jeju for the regeneration design of abandoned buildings. This study conducted a design workshop involving residents on abandoned buildings in the old city center of Jeju City. The possibility and task of decision-making method were analyzed. As a result, participating residents were actively involved in decision-making. It also helped residents understand and learn about the attractions of the neighborhood. Meanwhile, there were also difficulties in communicating among some participants. This is a structural problem with this method. Studies have also shown that it is important for residents themselves to try to understand the neighborhood.

Space evolves from the concept of deterministic static location to a dynamic, connected area through the interference of the user. While this does incorporate physical changes of the space, it also reflects the changes of the program or characteristics of the space through the actions and changes of the user. Therefore, in this study we plan to review the characteristic of time appearing within space, thereby discussing the impact of changing of condition in time-space to the decision making of the user. Further, we plan to analyze the specific causes, and subsequently introduce a new perspective over space. In order to achieve this, we need to first understand the reason why the attribute of time needs to be discussed in space, and perform a fundamental analysis of factors for the changes of the users' actions following changes in space-time condition. This means that space is not limited to merely satisfying its innate objective as an area, but may have a basis for modifying its role to help the decision making of the users caused by changes in space-time conditions. Accordingly, we analyze the factors for change of environment that can appear in space following the flow of time caused by correlation in space-time, as well as psychological factors and variables for decision making by the users. Based on this, we analyze cases to study the influence of condition changes in time-space on the action decision judgment of the users. Through this, we propose that the actions of the users can be determined following changes in time-space conditions, and discuss the need for changes in our perspective of space.

Architecture should deviate from euclidean ideas of abstract space while helping to accommodate individual perceptions and experiences of a given space. Concepts for making space should be cognitively processed. The process of gathering information from the environment represents a new spatial concept as expressed in the cognitive structural relationship between the environment and the individual as the subject of architecture. Additionally, the cognitive experience of space is primarily perceived visually, and visual perception is the basis for information-gathering and decision-making. Therefore architecture should be excluded from the conceptual focus on the existing space design rules, being expressed instead in experimental architectural spaces connected to subjective human experience. While some research has been done on this topic regarding architecture, further study is required in the area of interior design. This study proposes the possibility of composing effective living space through an investigation of cognitive space concept theory and expression elements, and includes a case study of Interior architectural spatial analysis.

In order to answer the challenge that development gave to environment, Chinese cities are making up and putting into effect the green space system planning. The planning main keys are: set down standards and scope of green space; bring the characteristics of every types of green space in to full play and made into basic units of the system; formed powerful links of the system; make full use of the natural system of city, constituted the urban and countryside as a organic whole green space system, therefore give full play their function and ecological effect. In fact, this green space system is a complex system. It is the main body of city ecological system, a main container of the citizen activities of leisure and recreation and a leading factor for making characteristic city landscape. Therefore it is a system carrying city's environment sustainable development.

In this study, it was analyzed that, the way of securing publicity and privacy in family and type of public space of the Japanese contemporary detached house, by the composition type of family from one person home to four generation family home. Mostly the living room is made as open plan of LDK type. Mostly, the entrance hall is separate with living room. Even if the case of the entrance hall is connected with living room, it is planned to be recognized as entrance hall, by making entrance poach or connecting it with stair hall. In many case, the public space is designed as traditional Japanese style, such as wellhole style space (吹拔け), courtyard, and Japanese style room (和室). The Japanese style room is adjacent to living room, and used as the space of receiving guests. The wellhole style space and courtyard are recognized as the center of the house, and used as buffer space for ensuring privacy of each generation. The most different point between bachelor house and multi generation family house is another LDK space, living room or kitchen for parents' generation is made separately. Particularly there are many case of making separate small kitchen space, therefore it can be known that, the separation of kitchen space is recognized more importantly than that of living room. And there are many case of making separate entrance hall, two houses under one roof. The spatial composition like this can said as rational method of ensuring the privacy of each generation, and using the public space together as necessary.

This paper preliminary discussed the important function and faced problems of suburb green space during the process of urban development. As well as it points out the contradiction of protection and making use of. In this paper it takes the green space system planning in Wuxi as an example. Through introducing the classification, distribution, arrangement principles, overall arrangement tactics and concrete protective measures of suburb green space in Wuxi, the paper also puts forward the correct disposal principles for the relationship between protection and making use of toward the suburb green space to realize 'both-win' of them.
