철도시스템의 RAMS 중심의 유지보수 정책 결정을 위한 개념적 절차 (A Conceptual Procedure of RAMS Centered Maintenance for Railway Systems)

  • 철포 서비스의 품질과 효율을 높이기 위해서는 늪은 RAMS 성능을 가진 시스템의 획득과 이의 지속적인 달성이 매우 중요하다. 이를 위해서 시스템의 구매사양서에 RAMS 요구사항을 명기하고 이를 검증하는 것과 운영 및 유지보수 단계에서 RAMS 성능의 지속적인 관찰 및 RAMS. 중심적인 운영 및 유지보수 정책 수립이 필요하다. 본 연구서는 획득된 시스템의 RAMS 고유 성능이 지속적으로 달성되는 것을 목표로 하는 RAMS 중심의 유지보수에 대한 절차를 제안한다. 또한 유지보수 업무 및 수기에 따른 RAMS 영향 평가 기법 및 최적유지보수주기 결정을 위한 개념적 모형을 제시한다.

도시철도 유지보수체계 표준화 및 정보화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Standard and Information System for Urban Transit Maintenance)

  • We need to make the standards of maintenance information for urban transit to reduce the cost to maintain the information and to share the information with maintenance workers. It is enable to do systematic maintenance for urban transit by using the information system based on the standardized information. In this paper we propose the major items to standardize and the methods to lay out the standard schemes to enable structured maintenance. We present the 4 items, bill of material, material classification, accident/fault classification, electronic document, to standardize. And we propose how to implement the information system for urban transit based on the standardized information. We describe the implemented information system in two parts; a rolling-stock and an infrastructure part. And also we describe the result of survey to evaluate the system installed at Seoul Metro and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit.

  • The TBO of main unit of propulsion control devices on high-speed railway vehicles proposed by the makers is appropriated 10 years cycle, but the maintenance of internal device are proceeding before coming to the particular period of time. In the Future, increasing of the failure probability occurred by increasing train service and obtaining spare parts are predicted that it would be difficult. the propulsion control devices develop is needed in other to the ease maintenance, cost savings and ensuring related domestic technologies when considering operating on long term of high-speed railway vehicles. In this paper, we proposed development a way that current-controlled type propulsion control devices using the newest power semiconductors which is easy to supply and demand through identifying performance and characteristics of existing current-controlled type propulsion control devices of high-speed railway vehicles.

철도고가교 급곡선부 레일장대화 방안연구 (A study of CWR on railway viaduct with sharp curves)

  • The Seoul Subway Line 4 crossing downtown diagonally constructed in February 1980 and opened on October 11, 1983. The line 4 is thus able to link southern and northern parts of Seoul with the downtown as well as with the Seoul outskirts. More than 810,000 people use it everyday. Line 4 was constructed like Line 1,2,3 with ballast track system causing much maintenance cost gradually and espicially much public discontent due to wheel and rail contact noise by railway viaduct with sharp curves. CWR on railway viaduct with sharp curves, 180m$\leq$R$\leq$300m, hasn't been designed and constructed ever in domestic. Therefore in order to reduce noise and vibration caused by interaction between wheel and rail the possibility and the methods of CWR(Continuous Welded Rail) on railway viaduct with sharp curve less than R300 will lead it to the maintenance free system.

레일용접부 피로수명 예측 (Prediction of bending fatigue lifes of rail welded parts)

  • This paper investigates about the prediction of rail bending fatigue lifes for the purpose of the effective maintenance of surface irregularities of rail welded parts. The rail bending stresses are calculated using a track dynamic analysis program. The rail surface irregularities measured in situ are given as inputs in the analyses. On the other hand, the S-N curves are derived based on the results of bending fatigue tests. Using data found so far, rail fatigue lifes are estimated adopting a modified Miner's rule. The useful guides for maintenance of rail welded part are proposed in terms of grinding period and grinding depth of rail surface irregularities.

전동차 유지보수를 위한 BOM 체계 구축에 관한 (A Study on BOM System Constructing for Rolling Stock Maintenance)

  • The most important part of RIMS(Rolling Stock Information Maintenance System) project is to construct BOM(Bill of Material). BOM is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. To construct BOM for RIMS is not a easy task due to several reasons such as data base scale and flexibility, proper integration between physical BOM and functional BOM, interoperability with other systems, etc. In this study we show several principles that Seoul Metro takes to get over the difficulties mentioned above. Based on these principles we propose the methodology Seoul Metro employs to construct BOM efficiently. We also discuss the applicability of BOM in several fields.

  • Recently, railway industry has been developed not only functional parts such as acceleration and high performance of the railway but also emotional parts such as improved ride comfort and blocking noise. However, some important components of railway such as wheel and rail always had exposed too much operation time, cyclic load and rolling contact directly. The variations of load, vibration and chemical compositions were caused of wheel and rail having a lot of different types of contact fatigue damages. Therefore, It is necessary to improve inspection and maintenance technology in order to ensure safety and reliability of railway. Many researchers have already been reported the technology. Magnetic camera, one of the non-destructive testing technique can be used to inspect and evaluate the changes of magnetic field in ferromagnetic and paramagnetic materials with cracks. When an electromagnetic is applied to a specimen, a magnetic field will be distorted around a crack on the specimen. In present paper, the distribution of magnetic property in wheel with cracks using magnetic camera had investigated. The crack can be detected and evaluated by distribution analysis of magnetic field. The magnetic camera technique can be detected and evaluated the crack by rolling contact fatigue.

경량전철 교량 상부구조의 열차주행에 대한 진동 및 소음 분석 (The Estimation of Structural-Borne Noise and Vibration of the Bridge under the Passage of the Light Rail Transit)

  • During the passage of the train, the railway bridge undergoes vibration and noise. The noise of railway bridge can be occurred from various sources. The wheel-rail contact, noise from machinery parts, structural-borne noise, pantagraph noise and aerodynamic noise of the train work in combination. Running train is one of the most important factors for railway bridge vibration. The repeated forces with equidistant axles cause the magnification of dynamic responses which relates with maintenance of the track structure and structure-borne noises. The noise problem is one of the most important issues in services of light rail transit system which usually passes through towns. In the present study, The vibration and noise of the LRT bridge will be investigated with utilizing dynamics responses from moving train as input data for noise analysis.

  • Recently, also in railway vehicles, related products are being designed and manufactured through RAMS activities in order to secure their reliability, availability, maintainability & safety. Subway operators are conducting R&D on various preventive maintenance methods and applying them to the field so as to establish a reliability centered maintenance(RCM) system. In this connection, manufacturers shall carry out R&D based on reliability from the first design stage of development to provide high quality products to subway operators. And operators shall have the products operated properly to their particular operating environment and managed based on the standard maintenance manual. Not only that, but the related field data shall be fed back into the manufacturers to upgrade upcoming products by organic cooperation between manufacturer and operators. However, the mutually beneficial cooperative relationship is not still developed in the domestic railway industry. In terms of methodology for life prediction, this study was intended to analyze field data on relays used for rolling stocks considering operational characteristics in the position of subway operators and predict parts reliability using reliability prediction program from the standpoint of manufacturers as well.

열차 중수선 시설의 최적 설계를 위한 시뮬레이션 분석 방법 (Simulation-based Optimal Design Method for the Train Overhaul Maintenance Facility)

  • 열차 증수선 시설은 편성, 차량, 차체, 대차 등으로 구분하여 프로세스를 수행하게 되는데 각각의 수선 방법 및 프로세스가 상이하여 일반적인 수리적 기법으로 분석하는 것은 한계를 가지게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 열차중수선 시설의 시뮬레이션 모델링 및 분석에 관한 체계적인 방법을 제시하였다. 시뮬레이션 분석은 종속 변수와 설계 변수를 구분하여 시뮬레이션 모델링에 반영 한 후 다 기준 의사결정 기법을 사용하여 설계 대안을 선정하게 된다. 그리고 선정 된 대안에 관한 최적화를 수행하여 실제 설계에 적용하게 된다. 이 분석 방법에 관한 예로 전기기관차 중수선 시설에 관한 시뮬레이션 설계 및 분석 방법을 제시하였다. 시뮬레이션에 기반 한 분석은 실제 시스템의 설계 전에 설계변수의 최적화를 위하여 꼭 수행하여야 하며, 최적의 설계를 구축하는 하나의 중요한 단계로 고려되어져야 하고, 본 논문에서 제시된 방법은 시뮬레이션의 체계적인 접근에 활용이 될 수 있다.
