고강도 전단철근을 사용한 철근콘크리트 보의 부착성능 향상에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Improvement of Bond Performance of RC Beams with High-Strength Shear Reinforcement)

  • 이 연구에서는 고강도 전단보강근을 사용한 철근콘크리트 보의 부착성능을 향상시키기 위한 간편한 방법을 소개한다. 일반적으로 전단보강근의 항복강도와 보강근비는 철근콘크리트 보의 전단내력에 영향을 미친다. 그러나 철근 콘크리트 보의 부착성능은 보강근의 항복강도에는 큰 영향을 받지 않으므로 고강도 전단보강근을 사용한 경우 부착파괴의 위험성이 있다. 제안된 방법의 구조적 성능을 검증하기 위하여 총 4개의 철근콘크리트 보 실험체를 제작하고 실험하였다. 실험변수는 전단보강근의 항복강도와 보강근비 및 보강형태로 계획하였다. 실험 결과 제안된 방법은 철근콘크리트 보의 부착성능을 효과적으로 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Pullout tests of single headed bars using plain concrete blocks indicate that the embedment depth of $10d_b$ is in general required for the headed bars to develop pullout strength equivalent to 125% of bar yield strength. In this experimental study, test results of multiple headed bars installed in reinforced concrete column sections are presented. Test variables included embedment depth, column main reinforcement ratio, and spacing of column ties. 2D29 bars were pulled out at one time from normal strength concrete. Test results indicated that the embedment depths, column tie spacings, and column main reinforcement ratios all influenced the pullout strengths of the headed bars. When the embedment depth was not sufficient, narrow tie spacings especially resulted in increased pullout strengths of the headed bars. Test results also indicated that the embedment depth of 15㏈ was sufficient for the closely spaced two headed bars (head-to-head spacing =$6d_b$) to develop pullout strength equivalent to 125% of the bar yield strength.

  • An experimental study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of transverse reinforcement in reinforced concrete tied columns subjected to monotonically increasing axial compression. Eighteen large-scale columns(260$\times$260$\times$120mm) were fabricated to simulate similarly an actual structural members size. Effects of main variables such as the concrete compressive strength, the tie configuration, the transverse reinforcement ratio, the tie spacing, and the spatting of the concrete cover were studied in this research program.

개구부 보강철근을 갖는 철근콘크리트 연속 깊은 보의 구조적 거동 (Structural Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Continuous Deep Beams with Reinforcement around Opening)

  • Test results of four reinforced concrete two-span continuous deep beams are summarized. Main variables were the configuration of web opening reinforcement. Shear span-to-overall depth ratio and the size of the web opening were fixed by 1.0 and 0.5 a $\times$ 0.2 h, respectively. To control diagonal crack and enhance strength, it can be recommended that diagonal reinforcement crossing the crack plane joining between loading points and corner of openings should be provided.

  • 지반보강을 위해 국내에서 널리 사용되고 있는 공법으로 약액주입공법, 앵커공법, 소일네일공법 및 마이크로파일공법 등을 들 수 있다. 이러한 지반보강공법은 보강재의 종류, 설치방법, 프리스트레스의 유무 및 그라우팅 방법에 따라 다양한 공법으로 개발되고 있으나, 공통적으로 지반보강재의 강성, 그라우트와 보강재의 마찰력 및 그라우트와 지반의 마찰력이 주요 설계변수이다. 따라서, 최적화된 지반보강재는 보강재 자체의 인장강도가 큰 재료로써 보강재와 그라우트사이의 마찰력이 크며, 그라우트와 지반사이의 마찰력을 향상시킬 수 있는 최적의 그라우팅 방법의 적용이 필요하다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 보강재의 형상과 그라우팅 방법에 따른 보강효과를 평가하고자 총 20여개의 실내모형실험을 실시하였으며, 실험결과 타공+날개보강형과 포스트그라우팅 방법이 보강 효과가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 보의 전단거동에서 콘크리트 압축강도가 스터럽 유효성에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 전단파괴와 휨파괴가 동시에 일어나는 경계점은 대략 S=150mm부근으로 예상되며, 이때 전단철근비는 보통강도 콘크리트보에서는 $0.63{\rho}_{vmax}$ 이고, 고강도 콘크리트보에서는 $0.53{\rho}_{vmax}$로서 ACI 전단설계 산정식은 매우 안전측이라고 판단된다.

Structural response of corroded RC beams: a comprehensive damage approach

  • In this work, a comprehensive approach to model the structural behaviour of Reinforced Concrete (RC) beams subjected to reinforcement corrosion is proposed. The coupled environmental - mechanical damage model developed by some of the authors is enhanced for considering the main effects of corrosion on concrete, on composite interaction between reinforcement bars and concrete and on steel reinforcement. This approach is adopted for reproducing a set of experimental tests on RC beams with different corrosion degrees. After the simulation of the sound beams, the main parameters involved in the relationships characterizing the effects of corrosion are calibrated and tested, referring to one degraded beam. Then, in order to validate the proposed approach and to assess its ability to predict the structural response of deteriorated elements, several corroded beams are analyzed. The numerical results show a good agreement with the experimental ones: in particular, the proposed model properly predicts the structural response in terms of both failure mode and load-deflection curves, with increasing corrosion level.

Effect of spiral reinforcement on flexural-shear-torsional seismic behavior of reinforced concrete circular bridge columns

  • This paper investigates the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) circular columns under combined loading including torsion. The main variables considered in this study are the ratio of torsional moment to bending moment (T/M) and the level of detailing for moderate and high seismicity (low and high transverse reinforcement/spiral ratio). This paper presents the results of tests on seven columns subjected to cyclic bending and shear, cyclic torsion, and various levels of combined cyclic bending, shear, and torsion. Columns under combined loading were tested at T/M ratios of 0.2 and 0.4. These columns were reinforced with two spiral reinforcement ratios of 0.73% and 1.32%. Similarly, the columns subjected to pure torsion were tested with two spiral reinforcement ratios of 0.73% and 1.32%. This study examined the significance of proper detailing, and spiral reinforcement ratio and its effect on the torsional resistance under combined loading. The test results demonstrate that both the flexural and torsional capacities are decreased due to the effect of combined loading. Furthermore, they show a significant change in the failure mode and deformation characteristics depending on the spiral reinforcement ratio. The increase in spiral reinforcement ratio also led to significant improvement in strength and ductility.

터널 시공 중 보강공법 선정용 퍼지 전문가 시스템 개발 (Development of the Fuzzy Expert System for the Reinforcement of the Tunnel Construction)

  • In this study, an expert system was developed to predict the safety of tunnel and choose proper tunnel reinforcement system using fuzzy quantification theory and fuzzy inference rule based on tunnel information database. The expert system developed in this study have two main parts named pre-module and post-module. Pre-module decides tunnel information imput items based on the tunnel face mapping information which can be easily obtained in-situ site. Then, using fuzzy quantification theory II, fuzzy membership function is composed and tunnel safety level is inferred through this membership function. The comparison result between the predicted reinforcement system level and measured ones was very similar. In-situ data were obtained in three tunnel sites including subway tunnel under Han river, This system will be very helpful to make the most of in-situ data and suggest proper applicability of tunnel reinforcement system developing more resonable tunnel support method from dependance of some experienced experts for the absent of guide.
