Aircraft pylon connects the engine or external stores to the main wing, and transfers the load acting on the pylon to the main structure of the aircraft. In particular, it should perform the function of separating the external store mounted on the pylon in case of emergency or mission performance. At this time, if the separation of the external store is not performed properly due to peripheral air flow or functional problems during the separation process of the external store, it may seriously impact the survivability of the aircraft. For this reason, to apply an external attachment to an aircraft, it is necessary to prove the stability of the external attachment in the separation situation in advance. In this paper, we present the result of the ground separation test performed to confirm that the external fuel tank, which is an external attachment, can be safely separated from the pylon. As a result of the test, the separation movement of the external fuel tank was measured with a high-speed camera, and the stability of the separation of the external fuel tank from the pylon were confirmed through the ground separation test. Additionally, the test result provides basic data for the stability evaluation of the separation of external attachments in actual aircraft.

The Helicopter MRA Control Rod System has the important function of controlling the speed, height, and direction of helicoptersby adjusting the main rotor disc. However, the ingress of water into the inner control rod can cause ice damage in the rod during winter operation and also corrosion;these defects need to be rectified. The water flowed into the control rod through the upper side space, and the rod was cracked during icing expansion occurring at low temperature. The corrosion occurred due to the lack of coating process during the manufacturing process. To resolve these problems, the upper rod was sealed to prevent water inflow and a coating process was added to prevent corrosion. These solutions were verified by awaterproof test and a salt fog test. The phenomena, causes and measures were reviewed and the methods of improvement were established and proven. This proposed technology to prevent water infiltration and corrosion will contribute to the safety of rotary wing aircraft.
Experiments with non-nodulated alfalfa (Medicago sativa L. cv, Europe) plants grown in hydroponic cuiture, were carried out to estimate the remobiJization of nitrogen (N) reserves and to investigate the transported forms of reduced soluble-N in xylem during regrowth following shoot removal. Endogenous N remobilization were estimated by $^{15}N$ labelling and amino acids in xylem sap were analysed. The, $^{15}N$ contents of ~egr9wing leaves and stems increased as a result of remobilization of N reserves mainly from root ,system, Regrowing leaves were a stronger sink than regrowing stems, with about tWo-thirds of remobilized 15N being recoved in leaves. Endogenous N in lateral roots accounted for about 46% of the total N reserves used for regrowth, while tap roots accounted for 23%, About 72% of total endogenous N remobilized to regrowing shoot, occurred during the first 10 days of regrowth, The outflow of reduced soluble-N (mainly amino acids) was greater than that of protein-N, while the latter was the largest storage pool in tap root and lateral roots. It is suggested that amino acids-N was the most readily avaiable form of N reserves. Asparagine, which repre5ented about 75% of amino acids-N in xylem sap, was the main transported form of reduced N. Its relative contents, during the first 10 days of regrowth, decreased from 75% to 59%. This decline was accompanied by compensatory increase in the relative contents of asparatate and glutamine.
With the rapid development of rail transit, rail transit noise needs to be paid more and more attention. In order to accurately and effectively analyze the characteristics of low-frequency noise, a prediction model of vibration of box girder was established based on the hybrid FE-SEA method. When the train speed is 140 km/h, 200 km/h and 250 km/h, the vibration and noise of the box girder induced by the vertical wheel-rail interaction in the frequency range of 20-500 Hz are analyzed. Detailed analysis of the energy level, sound pressure contribution, modal analysis and vibration loss power of each slab at the operating speed of 140 km /h. The results show that: (1) When the train runs at a speed of 140km/h, the roof contributes more to the sound pressure at the far sound field point. Analyzing the frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz: The top plate plays a very important role in controlling sound pressure, contributing up to 70% of the sound pressure at peak frequencies. (2) When the train is traveling at various speeds, the maximum amplitude of structural vibration and noise generated by the viaduct occurs at 50 Hz. The vibration acceleration of the box beam at the far field point and near field point is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 31.5-100 Hz, which is consistent with the dominant frequency band of wheel-rail force. Therefore, the main frequency of reducing the vibration and noise of the box beam is 31.5-100 Hz. COMS (Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite) is a geostationary satellite and developed by KARl for communication, ocean and meteorological observations. It will be tested under vacuum and very low temperature conditions in order to verify thermal design of COMS. The test will be performed by using KARI large thermal vacuum chamber, which was developed by KARI, and the COMS will be the first flight satellite tested in this chamber. The purposes of thermal balance test are to correlate analytical model used for design evaluation and predicting temperatures, and to verify and adjust thermal control concept. KARI has plan to use heating plates to simulate space hot condition especially for radiator panels of satellite such as north and south panels. They will be controlled from 90 K to 273 K by circulating GN2 and LN2 alternatively according to the test phases, while the main shroud of the vacuum chamber will be under constant temperature, 90 K, during all thermal balance test. This paper presents thermal modelling including test chamber, heating plates and the satellite without solar array wing and Ka-band reflectors and discusses temperature prediction during thermal balance test.

The charge of distance and the change of tack between paired boats were measured by ship's distance measuring system fixed MCS in the main boat and MS in the following boat. The operating depth of the anchovy boat seine was recorded and analysed by self memory temperature/depth sensor in order to compare the relationship between the distance between towing boats and geometry of the anchovy boat seine net. The results are as follow, (1) When distance between paired boat was 5m, the fishing net was spreaded down deeply and unstably in accordance with bag net and flapper may be help to pass out anchovy school. (2) When distance between paired boat was 100m, vertical opening of the net was gradually increased with higher slope of towing depth in the square, bosom and flapper. Therefore, fishing efficiency could be decreased by preventing the entering of anchovy due to unstable shape of the bag net. (3) When distance between paired boat was 200m, the geometry of the anchovy seine was stable condition with the end of bag net was up while flapper was down and it may cause bad effect in fishing efficiency. (4) When distance between paired boat was 300m, the shape from wing net to bag net was gradually slow down and stable enough as well as good shape in bag net and flapper. (5) The ship's distance measuring system could be used for measurement and accurate control of distance between paired boat in accordance of anchovy recordings by fish finder in order to get higher fishing efficiency in anchory boat seine operation.
Introduction: The aim of this study was to report the effect of Korean medicine treatments on a stroke patient with acute cerebral infarction. Method: A 63-year-old male with anterior and middle cerebral artery infarction had symptoms of dizziness and disorientation. The patient was treated with Korean medicine therapy, including the herbal medicine "Sunghyuangjunggi-san-gamibang." Treatment progress was assessed using the Korean version of the Modified Barthel Index (K-MBI) and the Korean dizziness handicap inventory (K-DHI). Results: After 14 days of treatment, the K-DHI score decreased from 78 to 7 and the K-MBI score increased from 18 to 24. The patient's main symptoms were improved after the treatment, and no side effects were observed. Conclusion: Korean medicine treatment, including Sunghyuangjunggi-san, might be a recommended therapeutic option for dizziness and disorientation in stroke patients.
Eduardo Galeano is a left-wing intellectual who led the criticism and accusations of dictatorship and social absurdity in Latin America. It digs into the truth of hidden history that has not been revealed in official history. He values the memory of history to stop repetition of the unfortunate history of the past. The main research topic of this study, 『The Book of Embraces』, is also an extension of such work. Most of the stories in this work depend on the writer's memory. There is no coherence or integration in the content of the story, and the length of the text is not constant, so it is extremely informal and fragmented. This is a strategy to formally reveal the illogical and irrational reality of Latin America. He analyzes the problems of the separation system prevalent in Latin American society from various perspectives. It separates me and the others as well as the past and the present. It makes the memory of history void and paralyzes the consciousness of history. These systems are fixed for convenient governance. In this situation, the pattern of violence becomes more explicit and broad. The anxiety and fear of the Latin American public become commonplace. It is a reality of enduring daily life without hope. Galeano finds this enduring force in historical memory. He believes that when the past and the present meet and embrace, a new history of the future can be encountered. Galeano does not just criticize reality or cynical attitude but also suggests hope for the future.

Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a product development tool which ensures that the voice of the customer needs is heard and translated into products. To develop a sensible brassiere for middle-aged women QFD was adopted. In this study the applicability and usefulness of QFD was examined through the engineering design process for a sensible brassiere for middle-aged women. The customer needs for the wear comfort of brassiere was made by one-on-one survey of 100 women who aged 30-40. The customer competitive assessment was generated by wearing tests of 10 commercial brassieres. The subjective assessment was conducted in the enviornmental chamber that was controlled at $28{\pm}1^{\circ}C,\;65{\pm}3\%RH.$ As a results, we developed twenty-one customer needs and corresponding HOWs for the wear comfort of brassiere. The Customer Competitive Assessment was generated by wearing tests of commercial brassiere. The subjective measurement scale and dimension for the evaluation of sensible brassiere were extracted from factor analysis. Four factors were fitting, aesthetic property, pressure sensation, displacement of brassiere due to movement. The most critical design parameter was wire-related property and second one was stretchability of main material of brassiere. Also, wearing comfort of brassiere was affected by the interaction of initial stretchability of wing and support of strap. Engineering design process, QFD was applicable to the development of technical and aesthetic brassieres.

Near sea trawlers of Korea sometimes catch pelagic fishes like file fish by using midwater trawl gear even though usually catch bottom fish. It is reasonable to use the specific otter board as well as specific net in bottom trawling and in midwater trawling respectively. But, the trawlers are so small ranging 100 to 120GT, 700 to 100ps that it is very complicated to use different otter board for bottom trawling and for midwater trawling. The otter board for bottom trawling. is also used for the midwater trawling without any change even though the net is changed into the specific one. Although the otter board in the midwater trawling should be lighter than that for bottom trawling, to use otter board for bottom trawling directly for the midwater trawling without any change makes the net easily touch the sea bed and also make the horizontal opening of the otter boards be limited owing to the length of warp in the southern sea of Korea, main fishing ground of midwater trawling, which is 100m or so in depth. That is why the otter board for the midwater trawling should be made lighter than that in the bottom trawling, even if temporary. The authors carried out an experiment to achieve this purpose by attaching a large styropol float on the top of the otter board. In this experiment, underwater weight of the otter board was 630kg and buoyancy of the float was 510kg. To determine the depth and horizontal opening of the otter board, two fish finder was used. A transmitter of 50KHz fish finder was set downward through the shoe plate of otter board to determine the elevation of otter board from the sea bed, and a transmitter of 200KHz fish finder was set sideways on the starboard otter board to be able to detect the distance between otter boards. The obtained results can be summarized as follows: 1. The actual towing speed in the experiment varied 1.1 to 1.8 m/sec. 2. The depth of otter board was within 41 to 25m with float on the top and 45 to 26m without float in case of the warp length 100m, whereas the depth 68-44m with float and 74-46m without float in case of the warp length 150m. This fact means that the depth with float was 9-4% shallower than that without float. 3. The horizontal opening between otter boards was within 34-41m with float and 30-38m without float in case of the warp length 100m, whereas the opening was 44-50m with float and 37-46m without float in case of the warp length 150m. This fact means the opening with float was 10% greater than that without float in case of the warp length 100m, and 15% greater in case of the warp length 150m. 4. The horizontal opening between wing tips by using the otter board with float was 1m greater than by without float in case of the warp length 100m, whereas the opening by with float was 2m greater than by without float in case of warp length 150m. From this fact, it can be estimated that the effective opening area of the net mouth by using the otter board with float could be made 10% greater than by without float in case of warp length 100m, whereas the area with float 20% greater than by without float in case of warp length 150m.
