Objectives This study is for reporting current status and strategies of thread embedding acupuncture (TEA) in temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) using web-based survey. Methods Survey was conducted online via E-mail among Korean medicine doctors registered with the Association of Korean Medicine. The questionnaire is developed by Korean medicine doctor in Kyung Hee University Hospital at Gangdong. The survey consisted mainly of multiple-choice questions on the current status and strategies of TEA for TMD. Results Total of 427 doctors responded. TEA was mostly used for 'Cosmetic purpose and others' with 287 respondents (67.2%), and 102 respondents (23.9%) having experience with TEA for TMD. The most common purpose for TEA for TMD was 'Improving muscle contraction and tension' with 290 respondents (67.9%). The average interval was reported 2.12 weeks, and the most common response for the number of treatments was five sessions with 127 respondents (29.7%). The most common criterion for determining the treatment site was based on anatomical structure, accounting for 92.7%. The most effective anatomical structure was the 'Masseter muscle' with 83.1%, followed by the 'Temporal muscle' with 51.8%. TEA direction for TMD was dominant in 'affected side' for all muscles. Conclusions Through a survey, we can investigate clinical usage of TEA for TMD. This study can be helpful in creating standardized criteria for TEA on TMD in the future.

Information Technology is making a lot of changes in the library. Especially the library computerization made the business of librarians convenient and made an impact in outsourcing and job reduction. The number of library users is decreasing because they can find information easily in the internet instead of library. But librarians are suspended in traditional business; they are not carrying out new role in changed environment. So, their identity is shaken. If a job does not have their identity, the job can not but disappears. This paper wished to find the identity of librarians in digital environment. For research the author examined literatures about new role of librarians and compared with librarian's opinions. To collect librarian's opinions, the author took e-mail survey to librarians who are working more than 20 years at libraries. Questionnaire consists of open-ended question. As a result, librarians are feeling their professional rewarding in public service. But they do not have much opportunity to service as professional. In some case librarians have opportunity to secure their expert area in reading education, information literacy and computer program teaching. This means the information education and medium education. The information education means to and necessary information. The medium education means to approach at information. The ability that can utilize information and medium is very important in lifelong learning society. Librarians can achieve the role of information and medium education. Librarians can find their identity in information and medium education which make users as intellectual person.

This study was conducted to establish the appropriate facilities criteria of the Korean welfare devices center. We e-mail surveyed 194 welfare devices centers and analysed 13 blueprints of them. We established the following proper principles of facilities. First, consist type and area of room should depend on the type of welfare devices centers. Second, The flow of human and welfare devices should be simple. Third, the area calculated on the base of intent of center owner and the size of beds, wheelchairs, etc. Fourth, exhibit room facing with roadside may obtain advertising effect. Fifth, the storage and disinfecting room should use different entrance, and avoid the intersection of flow to prevent cross-contamination. Sixth, the access road to the exhibition and consulting room should be able to approach by the wheelchair. seventh, office room should be invisible to keep customer's privacy. Direct Cleaning-disinfecting type center on the premise that the maximum 165m2, middle 150m2, intermediate 140m2, display at least Consultation, Cleaning-disinfecting room, storage (clean, contaminated), the office, equipped with a parking space. Entrust Cleaning-disinfecting type center on the premise that a maximum 134m2, middle 119m2, intermediate 109m2 exhibited minimal activity room, consultation room, office, equipped with a parking space, collecting welfare when importing equipment warehouse (clean, pollution) have been proposed to equip up to.
National Health Insurance Corporation initiated Home and Community Long-term care Agency Quality Assessment(HCLA-QA) program in 2010. This study aims to explore long-term care agencies' perceptions and attitudes toward HCLA-QA program, focused on the home-visit care agencies. Total 473 agencies completed the questionnaires(response rate 13.6%), using the e-mail and fax survey methods with high-capacity web-fax server of NHIC. On the results of this study, we found the agencies' different perceptions and attitudes on HCLA-QA program according to their quality ratings as QA results. Compared to the agencies with low quality ratings, the agencies with high quality ratings tend to have more time for preparation, better understandings about HCLA-QA program, more positive perceptions that quality indicators generally are valid, and more affirmative attitudes that the notifications of QA results are helpful for agencies. Our findings can be very useful for establishing strategies for improving the HCLA-QA program. The policy makers, the insurer, and the agencies need to consider the opinions of the agencies with high quality ratings as well as the ones with low quality ratings.
The purpose of this study was to explore how teachers perceive barriers to consultation with school counselors. For this purpose, the opinions of 16 teachers working in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Chungcheong, and Daegu were collected through one-on-one interviews and qualitatively analyzed using the concept-mapping method. A second set of data was gathered to classify the similarity and importance of the teachers' statements through one-on-one interviews or the mail. The data was analyzed using multidimensional scaling and hierarchical cluster analyses. The results were as follows. The barriers to the consultation with school counselors as perceived by teachers were represented in 51 statements. Dimensional statement analysis revealed two dimensions: (a) 'School counseling's traits - School counselors' traits' and (b) 'Psychological difficulties - Environmental difficulties' Hierarchical cluster analysis identified 5 clusters: 'The responsibilities as homeroom teachers interfere with communication with counselors', 'Teachers lack of awareness of their ability to seek consultation with counselors', 'Teachers lack of trust in school counselors', 'Perceptions of the school counselors' role and lack of relevant experience with school counselors prevent teachers from seeking consultation', and 'School counselors are overworked due to the school counseling environment' The most important cluster was 'Teachers lack of trust in school counselors'.
This study set out to investigate the effects of individual motivation on turnover intention among social workers and examine their turnover intentions in details by focusing on the mediation effects of multiple commitment. To be specific, it aimed to propose and test a prediction model for social workers' turnover intentions based on the Self-determination Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior. For those purposes, a mail survey was taken among social workers working for use facilities, residential facilities, public health centers, social welfare foundations and associations, and all kinds of centers and institutions in 15 cities and provinces across the nation. Total 1,918 questionnaires were distributed, and 1,671 ones were returned, and 979 whose respondents expressed a turnover intention were used in final analysis. The analysis results indicate that psychological motivation of social workers had direct impacts on their turnover intention. However, their role stress had no direct impacts on their turnover intention, which suggests that the impulsive routes model for turnover intention is supported only in psychological motivation and job characteristics. Secondly, their psychological and job motivation turned out to have indirect impacts on turnover intention through the multiple commitment, which suggests that the reflective routes model for turnover intention is supported in all career, job, and organizational commitment. Career commitment had the most significant impacts on turnover intention, being followed by job commitment and organizational commitment in the order, which suggests that the social welfare academy should increase their interest in career commitment. This study set out to construct an social capital scale that could be commonly used by social welfare organizations and to apply it to examine any differences in social capital among social welfare organizations. For those purposes, the study distributed a questionnaire by mail to social welfare organizations in 15 cities and provinces across the nation and conducted latent means analysis. The major research findings were as follows. First, as a result of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, the validity and reliability in measurement indicators of social capital were proved to be satisfactory level. Secondly, social capital were found to be interpreted at the organizational level through the review of levels of analysis. Meanwhile, the configural, metric, and scalar invariance of social capital scale were confirmed, which indicates that the social capital scale can be commonly applied to social welfare organizations. Finally, latent means analysis was carried out to examine differences among social welfare organizations in the subindexes of social capital including network connectivity, setting and sharing of vision, reciprocal norm, trust and cooperation, and group participation. As a result, there were significant differences among social welfare organizations in network connectivity, reciprocal norm, trust and cooperation and group participation but no statistically significant differences among them in sharing of vision, goal and core value. Those findings led to implications needed to manage of social welfare organizations.
This study aims to shed light on the new insights on the cross-buying intentions in the banking industry and suggests an integrated model of the cross-buying intentions. Recently with globalization in the financial sector, financial companies are trying to retain current customers and attract new one by developing various financial products. In South Korea, this trend is especially apparent in the banking sector. Cross-selling of various financial products such as beneficiary certificates, bankasurance and etc. is becoming more important in retaining competitive advantage in Korean banking industry. However, there are few studies which are trying to find out the factors affecting cross-buying intentions and explain their interrelationships comprehensively. Based upon the previous studies, this study finds out the factors affecting cross-buying intentions and classifies them into two dimensions: affective and instrumental. Affective dimension includes trust, satisfaction and commitment. Instrumental dimension includes the factors such as geological convenience, one-stop convenience, professionality, and direct mail. The results from this study are as follow. All the factors in the affective dimension(trust, satisfaction and commitment) have significant impacts on cross-buying intentions. Also all the factors in the instrumental dimension(geological convenience, one-stop convenience, professionality, and DM) significantly affect cross-buying intentions. Some implications of this dissertation are as follow; First, this study identifies the antecedents of cross-buying intentions comprehensively. Second, this paper provides practical guidelines for the banks attempting to intensify cross-selling activities. Third, banks need to develop sophisticated plans which can consolidate the emotional ties with customers through positive service experiences as the affective dimension is important in influencing cross-buying intentions. Finally, regarding the instrumental dimesnion, the implications are: 1) Developing various new financial products in addition to traditional product such as deposits and installment savings for improving customer convenience, 2) Enhancing the professionality of employees by strengthening education programs on numbers of financial products, 3) Increasing cross-buying intentions through the DM.

Methods The survey was conducted online via e-mail to certified Korean medicine doctors. The questionnaire is developed by Korean medicine doctors in Kyung-Hee Korean Medicine Hospital at Gangdong. The survey mainly consisted with multiple-choice questions on the current status, cost, and adverse reactions. Results TEA was predominantly utilized for cosmetic purposes, and the billing cost was commonly determined based on the number of threads used. The reported incidence of adverse reactions during TEA was 69.9%. The most frequent self-resolving adverse reaction was bruising, while the most common adverse reaction requiring medical intervention or resulting in sequelae was the 'dimple phenomenon'. According to the questionnaire, the primary factor associated with adverse reactions was the treatment area. Conclusions This study provided insights into the practical use of TEA on face in Korean medical clinic.
