  • In this paper, We study on the fabrication of amorphous this film of zeromagnetostriction material and the magnetic properties. This films are fabricated by using sputtering method with input power of 400∼607[W], Ar gas pressure of 3∼ 9[mTorr] and target composition of Fe$\sub$4.7/ Co$\sub$74.3/Si$_2$B$\sub$19/. Sample this films with diameter of 14[mm ] and thickness of 27-30[$\mu\textrm{m}$] were obtained through experiments. When we analyzed the magnetic properties before and after annealing with sample thin films, we confirmed that magnetic domain wall amorphous thin films consisted for Neel magnetic domain wall with the width of about 1[$\mu\textrm{m}$].

  • In nanomagnetism, one of the crucial scientific questions is whether magnetic behaviors are deterministic or stochastic on a nanoscale. Apart from the exciting physical issue, this question is also of paramount highest relevance for using magnetic materials in a wealth of technological applications such as magnetic storage and sensor devices. In the past, the research on the stochasticity of a magnetic process has been mainly done by macroscopic measurements, which only offer ensemble-averaged information. To give more accurate answer for the question and to fully understand related underlying physics, the direct observation of statistical behaviors in magnetic structures and magnetic phenomena utilizing advanced characterization techniques is highly required. One of the ideal tools for such study is a full-field soft X-ray microscope since it enables imaging of magnetic structures on the large field of view within a few seconds. Here we review the stochastic behaviors of various magnetic processes including magnetization reversal process in thin films, magnetic domain wall motions in nanowires, and magnetic vortex formations in nanodisks studied by full-field soft X-ray microscopy. The origin triggering the stochastic nature witnessed in each magnetic process and the way to control the intrinsic nature are also discussed.

  • Dynamic behaviors of transverse domain walls (TDWs) in rectangular shaped thin-film magnetic nanowires with different widths under applied magnetic fields less than the Walker field were studied by micromagnetic simulations. It was found that the velocity of stable TDWs in the viscous region increases from 147 to 419 m/s and their mass decreases from $6.24{\times}10^{-23}\;to\;2.70{\times}10^{-23}kg$ with increasing strength of the applied magnetic field ranging from 5 to 20 Oe for the nanowire with a dimension of 10 nm in thickness and $5{\mu}m$ in length, and 50 nm in width. With increasing the width of nanowires from 50 to 125 nm at a specific field strength of 5 Oe, the TDW's velocity also increases from 147 to 246 m/s and its mass decreases from $6.24{\times}10^{-23}\;to\;5.91{\times}10^{-23}kg$.

이와 같은 자성이미징(magnetic domain image), 자화벽(magnetic domain wall)을 연구하는데 있어 가장 핵심적인 장비가 SEMPA(Scanning Electron Microscopy with Polarization Analysis)이다.

  • We present the fractal properties of the magnetic domain walls in $(5-{\AA}\;Co_{90}Fe_{10}/10-{\AA}\;Pt)_n$ multilayer films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy for the number of repeats n (1 to 5). In these films, the magnetization reversed due to the domain wall propagation throughout the films with rare nucleations. As n increased, it was observed that the jaggedness of the domain walls increased noticeably, which is possibly due to the accumulation of irregularities at the layer interfaces. The jaggedness of the domain walls was analyzed in terms of the fractal dimension by use of the ruler method, and it was revealed that the fractal dimension significantly changed from $1.0{\pm}0.002$ to $1.3{\pm}0.05$ as n increased from 1 to 5.

  • A novel system of magneto-optical microscope magnetometer (MOMM), capable of simultaneous local problems of magnetic properties as well as real-time magnetic domain evolution imaging of ferromagnetic thin films with 400-nm spatial resolution, New findings in domain reveral dynamics of Co-based multilayers: The reversal ratio of V/R is a governing physical parameter. The activation volumes of wall-motion and nucleation processes are generally unequal. Submicron-scale local coercivity variation determines domain reversal dynamics. A thermally activated relaxation process during domain reversal is existed on the submicron-scale in realistic films. Local variation of magnetic properties should be considered for a realistic simulation. The fantastic capabilities of the MOMM can open many possibilities to broaden and deepen our understanding of domain reversal phenomena in ferromagnetic thin films.

  • The thickness dependence of the magnetic switching volumes in electrodeposited CoPt films was investigated from the magnetization reversal and the magnetic interaction behavior. As the sample thickness is increased, the field difference between the wall pinning field ($H_{DW}$) and the nucleation field ($H_N$) as well as the absolute value of ${\Delta}$area are increased. Therefore, the decrement tendency of the switching diameter with increasing sample thickness can be well explained by the domain wall motion controlled by the domain wall pinning and the strength of dipolar interaction.

  • Since the wall mobility of bubble magnetic materials havin g the large q (q=Kac/2$\pi$$M_s^2$) like a $YFeO_3$ has been found to be proportional to the wall energy theoretically crystallographical direction dependence of wall energy calculated by the basis on the spin configuration of the bubble wall which lies in the ac plane was compared with the crystallographical direction dependence of wall mobility which was measured by the experiment. The sample was a single crystal of $YFeO_3$ which was cut into plate normal to the C axis and polished t a thickness of about 60${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ The measurement of the wall mobility was carried out by optical system using the magneto-optic Faraday effect. From the good agreement of the crystallographical direction dependence of wall mobility and will energy it was found that the spin configuration of the bubble wall suggested is fair.

  • Magnetic field dependence of magnetization reversal in Co/Pt multilayers was quantitatively investigated. Serial samples of Co/Pt multilayers were prepared by dc-magnetron sputtering under various Ar pressures. Magnetization reversal was monitored by magnetization viscosity measurement and direct domain observation using a magneto-optical microscope system, and the wall-motion speed V and the nucleation rate R were determined using a domain reversal model based on time-resolved domain reversal patterns. Both V and R were found to be exponentially dependent on the applied reversing field. From the exponential dependencies, the activation volumes for wall motion and nucleation could be determined, based on a thermally activated relaxation model, and the wall-motion activation volume was found to be slightly larger than the nucleation activation volume.
