도시형 자기부상철도 토목구조물 유지관리 지침 작성을 위한 국내 철도교 유지관리 현황 분석 (Investigation of Recent Maintenance and Management in Existing Railway Bridges for Development of Urban Maglev Track Structures Inspection Manual)

  • This paper presented a literature review and investigation analysis results of total 19 present guide book and provisions of maintenance and management system in existing railway bridges to development of urban maglev track structures inspection manual. This research carried out a cooperated research subject 3-1, development a design code and maintenance and management inspection manual for urban maglev track structures, of the Center for Urban Maglev Program. Three types of track structures were includes as a major analytical parameter together with railroad, high speed railroad, subway and light rail transit. Bridges were analyzed a general rules, investigation, evaluation, repair and strengthen method as a key aspect. And rail were analyzed examination and maintenance also. This analysis results show that the track structures evaluation are based on the test and examination results, and repaired or strengthened consideration of deterioration, track irregularity and materials according to provision requirements.

  • This paper presents the performance and test results of propulsion system which is met the requirements of urban MAGLEV. The design of propulsion system should be considered the effect of attractive force by the magnetic levitation and train running resistance. In this paper, the tractive and braking thrust are calculated and the train performance is simulated for the service track. Finally the test results of complete car are shown to verify the performance.

  • This paper presents a procedure to design a real time control system for a magnetic levitation system based on the state space approach by adopting a control method compensating attractive force according to load variation of maglev vehicle. Also the paper has realized a robust control algorithm for the change of self-inductance parameters and the disturbance such as the change of mass of Maglev vehicles. The theoretical results are applied to the gap control problems of an attractive-type-magnetic levitation system and the effectiveness is proved by the implementation of digital control using 16 bits microcomputer.

  • 초고속 자기부상철도는 전기, 전자, 기계, 토목 및 건설 등의 기술이 종합적으로 연계된 거대 복합 시스템이다. 따라서, 각 기술 간의 인터페이스와 시스템에 대한 운영 요구사항과 기본사양을 종합적으로 검토 및 관리하는 시스템 통합이 원활하게 진행되어야 한다. 개별적인 시스템의 인터페이스 성능 확보는 시스템 전체의 목표 달성을 위해 필수적인 사항으로써 시스템 엔지니어링의 주요 관리 항목이며, 시스템의 실패 요인을 사전에 방지할 수 있는 효과적인 방안이다. 본 연구에서는 시스템 엔지니어링 기법을 활용하여 초고속 자기부상철도 시스템의 안정성과 신뢰성을 향상시킨 연구에 대하여 서술하였다.

  • This paper introduces the performance test of the prototype vehicle, which will be in operation for Urban Maglev Program. While common trains with steel wheels use rotary induction motors for propulsion, maglev trains gain thrust force from linear induction motors maintaining the constant airgap with levitation electromagnets. Therefore, not only the behavior of the linear induction motor should be well understood, but also the way of propulsion that minimizes its effect on the levitation system should be took into account. Performance test procedures of maglev trains are proposed and carried out, and the characteristics of acceleration and deceleration are verified to agree with the design criteria. Tests are mainly performed on the linear section of the test line, and the driving characteristics on the section with a 6‰ incline are examined additionally. As a result, the performance of the prototype vehicle in the reverse operation can satisfy the requirement about the acceleration and deceleration, 4.0$m/s^2$. And, the design modifications of the commercial vehicle and the performance specifications required on the demonstration line are investigated.

  • 도시형 자기부상열차 실용화사업에 적용된 유도무선루프방식 열차제어시스템에 대하여 최상위 레벨에서 전체 시스템에 대한 시스템 분류, 기능 분석을 시행하고 차상신호설비, 지상신호설비로 나누어 신뢰도, 가용도, 유지보수도 및 안전도를 수식을 통하여 분석한 결과를 제시하였다. RAM 분석은 신뢰도 블록도(RBD)를 각 장치별로 적용하여 시스템 서비스 가용도를 산출하였고, 안전도 분석은 PHA(예비위험원 분석), FMEA (고장모드영향분석), HAZOP을 통한 각각의 정상사상(Top Event)의 FTA(고장트리분석)을 시행하고 그 결과를 제시하여 RAMS 목표 값에 도달함을 수식을 통하여 증명하였다.

  • Test results of urban transit maglev system(UTM-01) are reported. Maglev project team in KIMM, in cooperation with Hyundai Precision Company and the Korea Electric Research Institute(KERI), has been developing a prototype urban transit vehicle since 1995. Since last May, we have been trying to improve performance of the first vehicle UTM-01 both in levitation and propulsion systems. In this paper, we report various test results of the vehicle UTM-01, present status and future prospect, and what have been done so far to assure its required performance.

  • This paper introduces a new optimal design method using a bacterial survival strategies for a ectromagnet of Maglev transportation vehicle. Usually, an electromagnetic suspension which has more advantages than electro dynamic suspension is used in Maglev systems. However, the structural constraints must be considered in the optimal design of an electromagnet for electromagnetic suspend system. In this paper, the optimal design method of a electromagnet based on a bacterial survival strategies optimization algorithm to design the electromagnet satisfying the structural constraints. The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by Matlab simulations and the simulation results show that the proposed method is more efficient than conventional methods.

  • This paper deals with the signal communication system for MAGLEV which is indispensible to train control with safety and high speed operation. Therefore it is necessary for signal system to ensure high speed transmission. massive transmission, low error rate, and reliability of information. And the ensured information should be transmitted between ground and on-board for safety and high speed operation. For these reasons, we have considered the guaranteed reliability by applying FSK method and HDLC protocol. Because HDLC has the advantages of high efficiency, high reliability, low bit rate, and bit transparency. HDLC is the appropriate method for data transmission in MAGLEV.

  • With the emergence of high-integration array and large area panel process, the need to minimize the generation of particles in the field of semiconductor, LCD and OLED has grown. As an alternative to the conventional roller system, a contactless magnetic conveyor has been proposed to reduce the generation of particles. An EM-PM hybrid which is one of magnetic levitation types is already proposed for the conveyor system. One of problems pointed out with this approach is the vibration caused by the dynamic interaction between conveyor and rail. To reduce the vibration, the introduction of a secondary suspension system which aims to decouple the levitation electromagnet from the main body is proposed. The objective of this study is to develop a dynamic model for the magnetically levitated conveyor, and to investigate the effect of the introduced suspension system. An integrated model of levitation system and rail based on 3D multibody dynamic model is proposed. With the proposed model, the dynamic characteristics of maglev conveyor system are analyzed, and the effect of the secondary suspension and the stiffness and damping are investigated.
