The purpose of this study was to offer suitable model for performing Tippelt motion and data for training Tippelt motion through the quantitative kinematical analysis of Tippelt motion in parallel bars. The results of analysing kinematic variations through three-dimensional reflection analysis of three members of the national team as the objects of the study were shown as follows. 1. It seemed that the shoulder-joints which are stretched as much as possible affects the whole Tippelt motion while one is swinging downward. The time of process of the center of mass for the body reaching to the maximum flection point should be quick and body's moving from the vertical phase to the front direction should be controled as much as possible. 2. While one is swinging upward, the stability of flying motion could be made certain by the control of body's rapid moving to the front direction and stretching shoulder-joints and hip-joint to reverse direction. 3. While one is flying upward, the body should be erected quickly and lessening the angle of the hip-joint affects the elevation of flight. When the powerful counter turn motion is performed, the stable motion could be made. As a result of this study, It seems that sudden fall and the maximum stretch of shoulder-joints is important during performing Tippelt motion in parallel bars. Also, it concludes that the maximum bending of hip-joints at the starting point of upward swing, sudden stretch to the reverse direction of shoulder-joints and hip-joints when one is leaving bars, control of body's moving to the front direction, and lessening the angle of hip-joints at the flying phase is important.

A New concept for the LNG-FPSO ship, with moonpool and bilge step in bottom, is proposed. This concept is investigated with regard to motion reduction and sloshing phenomena of the cargo and operation tanks. The principal dimensions of the ship are $L\timesb B\times D\times t(design)=270.0\times51.0\times32.32\times13.7(m)$, with a total cargo capacity of 161KT; a 98% loading condition is considered for this study. The moonpools and rectangular step at the bilge have been designed for the purpose of decreasing the motion within the tank. For the motion analysis, linearized three-dimensional diffraction theory, with the simplified boundary condition was used. The six-degree of freedom coupled motion responses were calculated for the LNG-FPSO ship. Viscous effects on the roll motion responses of a vessel were taken into account in this calculation program, using an empirical formula suggested by Himeno(1981). The case study for the moonpool size has been conducted using theoretical estimation and the experimental method. For the optimization of the moonpool size and effect of the bilge step, 9 cases of its size, both with and without bilge step, were involved in the study. no motion responses, especially roll motion, for the designed LNG-FPSO ships are much lower than those of other drill ships and shuttle tankers. The limit criterions are satisfied. To check the cargo tank and operation tank sizes, we performed a sloshing analysis in the irregular waves which focuses on the pressure distribution on the tank wall and the time history of pressure and free surface for No.2 and 5 tanks of LNG-FPSO with chamfers. Finally, optimum tank sire was estimated.

In this paper, We proposed the approach of GPU and motion vector to analysis the Human activity in real-time surveillance system. The most important part, that is detect blob(human) in the foreground. We use to detect Adaptive Gaussian Mixture, Weighted subtraction image for salient motion and motion vector. And then, We use motion vector for human activity analysis. In this paper, the activities of human recognize and classified such as meta-classes like this {Active, Inactive}, {Position Moving, Fixed Moving}, {Walking, Running}. We created approximately 300 conditions for the simulation. As a result, We showed a high success rate about 86~98%. The results also showed that the high resolution experiment by the proposed GPU-based method was over 10 times faster than the cpu-based method.

This paper presents the dimensional synthesis and kinematic analysis of the RSCS-SSP motion generating spatial mechanism using the displacement matrix method. This type of spatial mechanisms is used for the Mcpherson suspension in small automobiles. It is modeled for the wheel bump/rebound and steering motion. First, the suspension is modeled as a multiloop spatial rigid body guidance mechanism for the two major motions. Then the design equations for SSP, RS, and SC strut links are applied to synthesize an RSCS-SSP for up to three prescribed positions for the steering motiom from the suspension design specification. Thus a RSCS-SSP mechanism which is synthesized is also analyzed for the displacement during the steering motion.
In this paper, the wave-induced motion characteristics of a floating pendulor are investigated numerically. A floating pendulor is a movable-body-type wave energy converter. This device consists of three main parts (floater, pendulum, and damping plates). In order to obtain the hydrodynamic coefficients and wave exciting forces acting on floating bodies, a higher-order boundary element method (HOBEM) using a wave Green function is applied to the present problems. The hinged motion of a pendulum is simulated by applying the penalty method. In order to obtain a more realistic motion response for a pendulor, numerical body damping is included. First, the wave force and motion characteristics of just a floater are observed with respect to different shape parameters. Then, a coupled analysis of a floater, pendulum, and damping plates is carried out. The relative pitch velocity and wave forces acting on the floating pendulor are compared with those of a fixed pendulor.

The purpose of this study was to film up computerized analyses for both kinematic posture(film analysis) and muscle dynamics (EMG) during a weight-lifting motion. (Snatch, Clean and Jerk) Using a motor drive camera (3.5 frames/sec) and a Location Analyzer, motion tracks of 13 landmarks, which were attached to the major joints, during the motion were converted into digital values. At the same time, EMG amplitudes from 11 major muscle groups were recorded. Recorded data were processed via analog/hybrid computer (ADAC 480) and digital computer (PDP 11/44). Landmark locations and EMG amplitude were integrated by a computerized routine. Computer output included graphic reproductions on sepuential dislocations of body segments, center of gravity of body segments and the associated changes on EMG amplitude such as % EMG's of major muscle group during a weight lifting motion. The results strongly suggest that the computerized motion-EMG integration can provide a further working knowledge in selection and in training of workers and athletes. Suggestions for a further study include additional device for velocity measurement, expansion of the link model for biomechanical analysis and other implementations necessary for athletic application.
In the current study, reduction of springback is quantified and the reasons for the reduction are investigated. The testing involved a digital servo motion applied to a U-draw bending to produce a hat-type product from high strength steels such as DP780 and DP980. The change in springback is compared between the constant speed motion and three kinds of servocontrolled motions during forming experiments. In order to predict the springback for the servo-controlled tool motion, a finite element method was utilized for the springback analysis considering a kinematic hardening model for the steel. The comparison of springback between the analysis and the experiments shows that they have similar tendencies. Also, the analysis results indicate that the springback reduction is greatly influenced by a decrease in the friction coefficient, which originates from the contact and detach phenomena between the tooling and the blank during the up-and-down motion of the upper die following the servo-controlled motion.

This paper is concerned with Accuracy Design of LM Guide System in Machine Tools. Elastic deformation of bearing is calculated by Hertz contact theory and motion error of LM block is analyzed. A new algorithm using block stiffness is proposed fur the analysis of motion accuracy of the table. The best advantage of this algorithm is fast analysis speed because it isn't necessary iteration processes for satisfying equilibrium equation of the table. Motion errors of the table analyzed under artificial form error of rail theoretically and experimentally. Only one of two rails is bent by putting a thickness gauge into horizontal direction. This form error of rail is measured by gap sensor against the other rail. Then, motion errors of the table are predicted by proposed new algorithm theoretically and measured by laser interferometer. Measurements are carried out by changing the preload and thickness. The results show that the table motion errors are reduced from 1/2 to 1/60 times than form error of rail according to its height and width. And the effect of preloading is almost negligible.

The reliable seismic stability evaluation of the natural slopes and geotechnical structures has become a critical factor of the design. Pseudo-static or permanent displacement methods are typically employed to evaluate the seismic slope performance. In both methods, the effect of input ground motion on the sliding surface is ignored, and failure surface from the limit equilibrium method is used. For the assessment of the seismic sensitivity of failure surface, two-dimensional non-linear finite element analyses are performed. The performance of the finite element model was validated against centrifuge measurements. A parametric study with a range of input ground motion was performed, and numerical results were used to assess the influence of ground motion characteristics on the sliding surface. Based on the results, it is demonstrated that the characteristics of input ground motion have a significant influence on the location of the seismically induce failure surface. In addition to dynamic analysis, pseudo-static analyses were performed to evaluate the discrepancy. It is observed that sliding surfaces developed from pseudo-static and dynamic analyses are different. The location of the failure surface change with the amplitude and Tm of motion. Therefore, it is recommended to determine failure surfaces from dynamic analysis
Offshore wind energy has become a major energy source, and various studies are underway to increase the economic feasibility of floating offshore wind turbines (FOWT). In this study, the characteristics of wave-induced motion of a combined wind-wave energy platform were analyzed to reduce the variability of energy extraction. A user subroutine was developed, and numerical analysis was performed in connection with the ANSYS-AQWA hydrodynamic program in the time domain. A platform combining the TLP-type FOWT and the Wavestar-type wave energy converter (WEC) was proposed. Each motion response of the platform on the second-order wave load, the effect of WEC attachment and Power take-off (PTO) force were analyzed. The mooring line tension according to the installation location was also analyzed. The vertical motion of a single FOWT was increased approximately three times due to the second-order sum-frequency wave load. The PTO force of the WEC played as a vertical motion damper for the combined platform. The tension of the mooring lines in front of the incident wave direction was dominantly affected by the pitch of the platform, and the mooring lines located at the side of the platform were mainly affected by the heave of the platform.
