Design and Implementation of Audio Data In/Out Control Functions based on MOST150 Network (MOST150 네트워크 환경에서 Audio 데이터 입출력 제어 기능의 설계 및 구현)

  • 최근 차량의 멀티미디어 장치들이 증가하면서 이 장치들을 광 네트워크로 연결하여 멀티미디어 데이터를 송 수신해서 사용할 수 있는 MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) 네트워크를 적용한 차량들이 늘어나고 있다. MOST 네트워크는 최근 자동차 멀티미디어 시스템에 넓게 사용되고 있는 통신 시스템으로서, 동기 및 비동기 데이터를 동시에 전송할 수 있고, 최근에는 150Mbps를 전송할 수 있는 MOST150 네트워크를 이용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MOST150 네트워크에서 Audio 데이터 입출력을 제어하기 위한 알고리즘을 설계 및 구현하였다. Audio 데이터를 제어하는 방식은 ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)를 통해 Audio 데이터가 들어오면 IOC(IO Companion)를 통해 INIC으로 Audio데이터를 전달한다. INIC은 MOST150 네트워크로 데이터를 전송하고 그렇게 보내진 Audio 데이터를 MOST150 네트워크 내부의 다른 장치에서 INIC을 통해 데이터를 수신하여 DAC(Digital to Analog Converter)를 통해 Audio 장치에서 소리가 나는 것을 테스트하여 정상적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.

  • Interest in vehicle infotainment system, that provides both entertainment of driving and information for safe and convenient driving, has been recently increased. MOST is defined as the network transmitting high-bandwidth infortainment data to vehicle, and it has been standardized as MOST150. In this research, dynamic behavior method that deals with roles and functions of each devices connected to MOST150 Network, and Power Management Method was studied. MOST Network consists of a master device, including function block 'NetworkMaster', and all other devices called slave devices. The purpose of this study is to apply the analysis of the methods of operating and power management based on condition of master device and slave devices on MOST150 network to the future development of MOST150 devices.

  • In recent years, the driver needs the convenience of their vehicles and that there is an increasing requirement. Many researches have been mainly focused on MOST Networks to provide quality of multimedia service. The MOST network to support different bandwidth(MOST 25, MOST 50, MOST 150) should consist of a heterogeneous network. So the networks to used different protocols required gateway for receive and transmit information. The method to used gateway has problems occured loss of a packet by a lot of delay. In our previous research, we proposed a MOST GATEWAY system for organically connected to the network MOST150 and MOST 25. Therefore in this paper, we propose a simulation design Method of dynamic gateway system for MOST GATEWAY Performance Analysis in MOST25 and MOST150 Networks.

  • The vehicle network such as CAN, MOST, Ethernet has different protocols. In the case of Ethernet data, when data is transmitted from Ethernet to MOST150, it cannot be treated by Ethernet channel of MOST150, leading to data loss and transmission delays. Thus, this thesis proposes vehicle integration GATEWAY, which can form a network by organically connecting the Ethernet and MOST150 networks and minimize the delay and data losses caused by the differences in bandwidth.

  • In our previous research, we proposed a MOST GATEWAY system for organically connected to the network MOST150 and MOST 25 and we proposed a simulation design method for performance analysis of Scheduling Algorithm in MOST GATEWAY system. Therefore in this paper, after comparing the performance among the existing scheduling algorithm methods in MOST25 and MOST150 Networks, we use NS-2 simulator in order to analyze the performance. Finally, we present an improvement scheme of the efficiency and scalability.

  • 최근 자동차 산업의 발달로 후방카메라의 보급과 더불어 안전/보안 관련 제품이 출시되고 있다. 대부분의 후방카메라 설치는 많은 부품과 배선들이 들어간다는 단점이 있으며 배선이 길어질수록 노이즈가 발생한다. 본 연구는 차량의 후방을 감시하는 후방카메라에 관한 시스템으로 MOST 네트워크를 이용하여 설계하였다. 동기 및 비동기 데이터를 동시에 전송할 수 있는 MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) 네트워크는 최근 자동차 멀티미디어 시스템에 가장 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 통신 시스템이다. MOST150은 주로 링 형태로 연결되어지며 마스터 역할을 하는 장치가 반드시 하나 존재하고 여러 개의 슬레이브 장치들이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 MOST150 네트워크에서 차량용 카메라로부터 들어오는 영상을 적용하고, 광 케이블을 통해 노이즈 발생 및 배선의 복잡성을 줄여 운전자가 정확하고 실시간으로 원활한 영상 데이터를 얻을 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • Rear view cameras which help to park or to drive backward has been distributed through after-market, but it is inconvenient because they do not provide views of left, right and front sides. Around view monitoring(AVM) systems which can monitor around vehicle at a glance have been developed and equipped by vehicle vendor but systematic studies on these systems is lack. While the AVM system which equipped on Infiniti cars of Nissan is adequate to monitor around vehicle at a glance, it has disadvantages that additional cabling because of using analog cables is required and image quality is lowered due to EMI/EMC intervention. The around view monitoring system implemented in this paper has advantages that there are no EMI/EMC problems because of using optical network and that cabling is simple because of using plug-and-play ways. Additionally, an advantage of MOST150 network is that camera nodes and display node can be easily installed in the form of plug-and-play.

Therefore in this paper, we use CANoe.MOST simulator in order to analyze the performance and propose a algorithm design method for Performance analysis according to number of queues by applying existing scheduling algorithms.   • 주차나 후진 시에 도움을 주기 위한 후방 카메라는 after-market을 통하여 많이 보급되어 있으나 좌우 측방과 전방의 차량 경계를 확인할 수 없어 많은 불편함이 있다. 차량의 주변을 한 눈에 감시할 수 있는 어라운드뷰 시스템은 자동차 벤더들에 의해 장착되고 있으나 이에 대한 체계적인 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 일본 닛산 자동차의 인피니티 차량에 적용된 AVM이 이에 적합한 제품이지만 아날로그 케이블을 사용하여 부가적인 케이블링 작업과 EMI에 대한 간섭에 따른 화질저하의 단점을 가진다. 본 논문에서 구현된 MOST150 네트워크 기반 어라운드뷰 시스템은 광 네트워크이므로 EMI/EMC 문제가 없으며 배선이 간단하다는 장점이 있으며, MOST150 네트워크가 구축된 환경에서는 plug-and-play 형태로 쉽게 장착할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
