  • The distance between teats of each head on twenty heads of holstein was measured in Nation Livestock Research Institute of Rural Development Administration to find design variables on the teat-cup attachment system of the auto-milking system before milking. The distance between teats was tested by the steps for milk producing in the morning and evening. The results from this study is summarized as follow. 1 The maximum and minimum length between front teats were 297mm and 112mm respectively, the maximum and minimum length between rear teats were 231mm and 36mm and the maximum and minimum length between left front and left rear were 220 and 84mm. And the maximum length of right front and right rear were 205mm and 90mm. A relative position of the each teats was asymmetric. 2. The size of teats, the length between front teats, and the length between rear teats by lactating period were very much changed for its milking. 3. The design variables on the teat-cup attachment system was found by the length between each teats tested. Since the position of teat-cup is changed by milking environment for a cow to milk, the design variables should be considered to be asymmetric area between four teat of COW.

제 IV 형 근관에서 System B Plugger tip의 깊이에 따른 근관 충전 효과 (THE EFFECT OF CANAL OBTURATION ACCORDING TO THE DEPTH OF THE SYSTEM B PLUGGER TIP IN THE TYPE IV CANAL)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제 IV형 근관에서 Continuous Wave 가압법을 이용하여 충전할 때 System B Plugger tip의 깊이에 따른 근단부 밀폐효과를 평가하기 위함이다. 50개의 J형 만곡을 갖는 레진 블록에 부러진 F3 ProTaper 파일을 이용해 근관장에서 3mm 지점에 ledge를 형성한 후, F1 ProTaper Ni-Ti file을 이용해 레진 블록을 천공시켜 제 IV형 근관을 형성하고 System B Plugger tip의 깊이에 따라 3개의 실험군과 1개의 대조군으로 분류하였다. 제 IV형 근관의 거터퍼쳐와 실러의 길이는 확대경하에서 캘리퍼를 이용해 측정하였고 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 대조군의 설측 근관에서 거터퍼쳐와 실러 모두 관찰되지 않았다. 2. 3 mm군에서는 5 mm 또는 7 mm군에 비해 유의하게 많은 거터퍼쳐의 충전이 관찰되었다 (p<0.05). 3. 7 mm군에서는 유의하게 많은 빈 공간이 관찰되었다 (p<0.05).

시험선로 결빙방지를 위한 융설시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Snow Melting System for the Anti-freezing Testing Road)

  • The snow melting system by electric heating wires which is adopted in this study is a part of road facilities to keep surface temperature of the road higher than freezing point of water for melting the snow accumulated on it. The system is designed to increase traffic safety and capacity. The electric heating wires are buried under paved road at a certain depth and operated automatically and manually. Design theory, amount of heating, and installation standard vary according to economic situation, weather condition, and installation place where the system applies. It is tried to figure out that the appropriate range of required heat capacity and installation depth and intervals for solving snowdrifts and freezing problems with the minimum electric power consumption. The most important factors to design the system are calculation of heating capacity depending on weather condition and depth and interval of the electric heating wires depending on air condition respectively. The study were performed under the range of the air temperatures($-2^{\circ}C,\;-5^{\circ}C,\;-8^{\circ}C$), the intervals of the electric heating wires(70mm, 100mm, 125mm), and the installation depths(50mm, 70mm, 100mm). The ready made commercial program package was used to verify the experimental results.

사이버나이프에서 Xsight spine tracking system을 이용한 3D 표적위치보정의 유용성 평가 (Useful evaluation of 3D target location correction by using Xsight spine tracking system in CyberKnife)

  • 사이버나이프치료에서 삽입된 금표지자의 삽입 개수 및 인식의 제한으로 인하여 3D DOF로 치료하는 경우 척추구조물 정렬을 가능하게 하는 Xsight spine tracking system으로 회전방향의 위치오차를 보정함으로서 표적위치오차를 개선하고, 치료방법의 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 실험결과 6D DOF에서 표적위치오차는 $0.214{\pm}0.058mm$, 종양내부에 삽입된 2개 금표지자를 이용한 3D DOF에서 $0.673{\pm}0.142mm$, 종양외부에 삽입된 2개 금표지자를 이용한 3D DOF에서 $1.126{\pm}0.253mm$, Xsight spine tracking system의 적용 한 3D DOF에서 $0.542{\pm}0.103mm$로 나타났다. 실험결과 척추 구조물로 회전방향에 대한 보정을 시행하였을 때 표적위치에 대한 정확성이 약 48% 향상되었다. 또한, 선량분포의 일치성도 약 3%가 향상되어 일치하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 척추구조물 정렬을 병용한 Xsight spine tracking system의 회전방향에 대한 보정은 유용한 것으로 평가 되었다.

초고해상도 양전자 방출 CT의 쐐기형 검출기에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Wedge shape Detector of Very High Resolution Positron Emission computer Tomography)

  • 양전자 방출 CT에서는 고해상도를 얻기 위해서 즙은 폭의 검출기와 충분히 큰 검출효률이 동시에 요구된다. 검출기의 폭을 수 mm까지 줄이면 검출기준이 급감소하고 누설률이 급상승하여 이를 사용함이 인난하여진다. 특히 사각으로 입사하는 포톤의 경우 후각하다. 이를 해결하는 방법으로 쐐기형 검출기를 제안하였고 이에 관련된 문제들을 탐구하였다. 4∼8mm BGO 검출기의 쐐기형을 사용한 시스템이 종미 요육양체형을 사용한 시스템보다 해상도가 증가하였다. 예를들면 회 8mm의 BGO 검출기 200개를 난제하게 배치한 시스템이 이점 샘플링할 경우 쐐기형의 해상도가 5.4mm FWHM으로 같은 조건의 직육면체형의 6.6mm FWHM보다 향상됨을 시뮬레이션으로 확인하였다. 3∼7mm FWHM의 초고해상도 시스템의 검출기에 대하여 형태와 크기에 따른 특성도 시뮬레이션으로 구하여 제시하였다. The high resolution of positron emission tomography, in particular, requires the use of detector crystals of narrow width but still with sufficiently high detection efficiency. If the crystal width is reduced to several millimeters, degradation of detection efficiency and leakage coefficient becomes significant, particularly in case of obliquely incident photons. Alleviation of such a problem can be made possible by modification of the detector shape from the conventional rectangular type to a wed농e type. The Proposed wedge shape makes the absorption length longer for obliquely incident photons, thus increasing the detection efficiency and suppressing leakage coefficient. For the BGO detectors of 4-8mm width, the computer simulation result of the system using wedge detectors reveals resolution improvement to the system using conventional detectors. For the system composed of 200 BGO detectors of 8mm width with 2 point sampling motion, the simulation resolution system using conventional detectors. For the very high resolution system of 3-7mm FWHM, the characteristics of the detector shape and size is studied by computer simulation.

자기공명영상유도 Co-60 기반 방사선치료기기의 커미셔닝 경험 (Commissioning Experience of Tri-Cobalt-60 MRI-guided Radiation Therapy System)

  • 본 연구는 뷰레이 시스템의 커미셔닝 결과에 대한 보고이다. 먼저, 시스템 안전장치의 적절한 작동을 확인했다. 영상시스템에 대한 평가를 위해 신호 대 잡음비와 영상의 균질도, 공간적 무결성을 확인했다. 카우치 동작의 정확성 및 축교점의 일치성을 평가했다. 미국의학물리학회 특별업무단51규약 프로토콜에 따라 절대선량을 측정했다. BJR supplement 25에서 제공하는 심부선량백분율과 측정한 값의 차이, 치료계획에서 계산한 값과 측정한 심부선량백분율의 차이를 확인했다. 더불어, 출력인수에 대하여, 측정값과 계산값의 차이를 구했다. 최종 검증 단계로, 8개의 세기변조방사선치료계획을 사용하여 감마평가를 수행하였다. 커미셔닝을 수행한 결과, 모든 안전장치는 적절히 구동함을 확인했다. 신호 대 잡음비 값과 영상 균질도 값은 허용범위 이내임을 확인했다. 공간적 무결성 확인 결과, 반지름 10 cm 및 17.5 cm 안의 모든 지점에 대하여 각각 1 mm 및 2 mm 이내의 오차를 확인했다. 카우치는 x, y, z 방향으로 각각 0.2 mm, 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm의 오차를 보였다. 방사선 축교점과 가상 축교점 사이에는 x, y, z 방향으로 0 mm, 0 mm, 0.3 mm의 오차를 보였다. 영상 시스템의 축교점과 가상 축교점 사이에는 0.6 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.2 mm의 오차를 보였다. 다엽콜리메이터의 평균적 구동 오차는 0.6 mm였다. 측정한 출력의 오차는 0.5% 이내, 심부선량백분율 오차는 1% 이내, 출력인수 오차는 2% 이내였다. 세기조절방사선치료 감마평가 결과값이 $99.9%{\pm}0.1%$였다.

Growth, Fruit Quality, and Cracking of 'Campbell Early' Grapevine Grown under a Rain-shelter System in Sandy Loam Soils as Affected by Intervals and Amounts of Irrigation

  • A study was conducted to evaluate the effects of irrigation (amount, interval) on tree growth, fruit quality, and cracking of organic 'Campbell Early' grapevine in 2012 and 2013. Three irrigation treatments were applied using a sprinkler system from mid-June to mid-August in 2012 and 2013, as follows: 10 mm was applied daily (10 mm-IR), 20 mm was applied every two days (20 mm-IR), and 30 mm was applied every five days (30 mm-IR). Soil electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature were found to be greatest in the 10 mm-IR treatment in both years. Soil moisture content ranged between 20-40% in the 10 mm-IR, between 20-60% in the 20 mm-IR, and between 20-70% in the 30 mm-IR treatment plots. The total number of leaves per shoot and shoot growth were found to be greatest in the 20 mm-IR and 30 mm-IR treatments, respectively. Cluster and berry weights, and cluster and berry sizes were not consistently affected by the treatments. The 10 mm-IR treatment resulted in an increase in fruit SSC, SSC/acidity ratio, and berry skin pigmentation ($b^*$; blue). Approximately 5% of fruit cracking was observed on average over both years in the 10 mm-IR-treated fruit, while the 30 mm-IR treatment resulted in nearly 18% of cracking in 2012. Average marketable fruit yield per year over two years was greatest for the 10 mm-IR treatment ($24.4t{\cdot}ha^{-1}$) followed by the 30 mm-IR treatment ($22.7t{\cdot}ha^{-1}$) and lastly the 20 mm-IR treatment ($22.2t{\cdot}ha^{-1}$). Thus, the 10 mm-IR treatment represents a suitable irrigation regimen for controlling leaf and shoot growth of vines grown under a rain-shelter system in sandy loam soils, while improving fruit sugar contents and skin color and limiting fruit cracking.

T-Scan System을 이용한 성인 정상교합자의 교두감합위에서 교합안정에 관한 연구 (THE BALANCE OF OCCLUSAL CONTATS IN NORMAL OCCLUSION DURING INTERCUSPAL POSITION ON T-SCAN SYSTEM)

  • The understanding the natureof occlusal tooth contacts of natural dentition is important for correct diagnosis and treatment of diseases developed in stomatognatic system. Several investigator have studied the distribution of tooth contacts in maximum intercuspation and have reported contact locations with respect to the tooth position. Many methods have been clinically applied for the occlusal analysis in the intercuspal position. However, there are few quantative methods. This study analyzed the new software version of the T-Scan system to record and analyze occlusal contact balance in the anterior-posterior and right-left directions. Six time moment statistics and five moment statistics were calculated in the midsagittal and the incisal axes of the occlusal plane. In the present study, informed consent was obtained from 100 subjects with natural dentitions. The results were as follows ; 1. The mean of the dental arch length & width were 48.78, 65.32mm in whole population, 49.09mm, 65.50mm in males, 48.78mm, 64.63mm in females, respectively. 2. The mean of TLR & PLR were 0.193mm(left), 0.311mm(left), respectively. Therefore, the distribution of tooth contacts was bilaterally symmetric. 3. The mean of TFB & PFB were 29.168mm, 29.055mm, and that of LFB & RFB were 29.627mm, 29.587mm, respectively, and the qualitative center of occlusal contacts was the firtst molar. 4. The mean of LL & RL were 31.666mm, 31.377mm, respectively, and the quantitative center of occlusal force was the first molar. 5. The mean of LF & RF were 60.237N, 59.276N, respectively and Left-right moment was 72.491Nmm. Therfore, the distribution of occlusal force was bilaterally balanced.

Vision-based Automatic System for Non-contact Measurement of Morphometric Characteristics of Flatfish

  • This paper introduces a vision-based automatic system (VAMS) for non-contact measurement of morphometric characteristics of flatfish, such as total length (TL), body width (BW), height (H), and weight (W). The H and W are simply measured by a laser displacement and a load cell, respectively. The TL and BW are measured by a proposed morphological image processing algorithm. The proposed algorithm cans measurement, when the tail of flatfish is deformed, and when it is randomly oriented. In the experiment, the average and maximum measurement errors were recorded, and standard deviations and coefficients of variation (CVs) for the measurements were calculated. From those results, when flatfish the TL measurements had an average of 266.844 mm, a standard deviation of 0.351 mm, a CV of 0.131%, and a maximum error of 0.87 mm with straightened flatfish ($TL_A$ : 267 mm, $BW_A$ : 141 mm), and when flatfish of different sizes were measured, the errors in the TL and BW measurements were both about 0.2 %. Using a single conveyor, the VAMS can process up to 900 fishes per hour. Moreover, it can measure morphometric characteristics of flatfish with a TL of up to 500 mm.

Spring의 lumen size와 helical coil 형성 위치 변화가 교정력에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Lumen Size and Helical Coil Place Change in Spring on Orthodontic Force)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to impact of force system change in finger spring that add helical coil one round on orthodontic force. Methods: The following conclusions were drawn from the experiment conducted after bending 90 samples with a CNC wire forming machine while changing the height and lumen size to 1mm - 3mm - 5mm and 2mm - 3mm - 4mm respectively in the coil of the force system in finger spring added with one wheel of helical coil of 18-8 stainless steel round wire (${\Phi}0.5mm$, spring hard) from Jinsung Co. in domestic market under the following conditions: Laboratory name = Instron 5942; Temperature($deg^{\circ}C$) = 18.00; Humidity(%) = 50.00; Rate 1 = 10.00000 mm/min; Compressive extension = 5.0mm. Results: When Coil height is 1, 3, 5mm and lumen size is 2, 3, 4mm reduce finger spring as mean value of compressive extension occasion maximum load(mN) increases as coil height rises, and lumen size grows to 5.0mm. And was expose that compressive load(mN) increases as coil position of finger spring rises and increase as lumen size is decrescent. Conclusion: As the adherence height of coil was raised from 1mm through 3mm to 5mm, compressive load increased. As the lumen size increased from 2mm through 3mm to 4mm, compressive load decreased. Therefore, these results suggest that it is desirable to lower the coil height and enlarge the lumen size to enhance the biomechanical efficiency of finger spring when manufacturing the finger spring for removable orthodontic devices.
