This study was devised to investigate the juveniles' psychological distance to their parents and related variables. 456 respondents, consisted of 116 middle school boys, 101 high school boys, 114 middle school girls and 125 high school girls, were sampled. The psychological distance was measured by the semantic differential method, and the statistical data were verified by the analysis of variance through computer system. The main results are found as follows. 1. The average mark of the juveniles' psychological distance to their parents was 54.73(78.19%)/70(100%) and the mark of high school girls was highest and high school boys lowest. 2. The variables influencing on the juveniles' psychological distance to their parents were varied buy the groups. 1) Middle school boys; home atmosphere(p＜.001), social and economical status of home (S.E.S; p＜.01), number of intimate friends(p＜.05), rearing attitudes of parents(p＜.05). 2) High school boys; home atmosphere(p＜.001), age of father(p＜.05), protection of mother(p＜.05) 3) Middle school girls; home atmosphere(p＜.001), rearing attitudes of parents (p＜.001), S.E.S of home(p＜.001).

본 논문에서는 확대, 축소, 회전 등과 같은 선형, 비선형 왜곡이 포함된 이미지에 대해, 이미지의 외곽선을 찾아서 이미지를 보정하고 싱크 마크(Sync. Mark)를 사용하여 데이터를 샘플링하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 외곽선을 찾기 위한 방법으로 허프 변환(Hough Transform)을 사용하였으며, 찾아낸 외곽선을 이용하여 이미지의 영역을 인식하고, 이미지의 왜곡을 줄이기 위하여 이미지 와핑(warping) 기법을 적용하였다. 이미지의 비선형 왜곡을 보상하기 위하여 이미지의 싱크 마크(Sync. Mark)를 공분산(covariance)을 사용하여 인식하고 샘플링 위치를 보정하였다. 또한, 제안된 알고리즘은 Over Sampling 자체를 하나의 이미지 확대로 인식하여 처리하기 때문에 어떠한 Over Sampling 에도 적용 가능하다.

IT 산업이 발전하고, 제한된 리소스를 탑재한 소형 기기들의 사용이 증가함에 따라, 이러한 소형 기기들의 성능을 극대화하고 안정된 서비스를 제공하기 위한 다양한 핵심 소프트웨어 플랫폼들이 제안되고 있다. 자바는 플랫폼 독립성(Platform Independency), 보안성(Security), 네트워크 이동성(Network Mobility) 둥의 장점을 가지고 있어, 많은 분야의 소형 기기들에서 핵심 소프트웨어 플랫폼으로 채택되고 있다. 임베디드 장치나 모바일 같은 제한된 리소스를 사용하는 기기들은 자바의 소프트웨어 플랫폼중의 하나인 K 가상 머신(K Virtual Machine: KVM)을 탑재하여 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 제한된 리소스를 사용하는 소형 기기의 KVM 에서 좀 더 효율적으로 힙 메모리 관리를 하기 위한 MCCL(Mark-Compact-Compress-Lazy Allocate) 가비지 콜렉션 기법을 설계하고 구현한 내용을 설명한다.

Digital watermark technologies conceal the information of video contents that presents who is the owner and/or who is the user. In spite of various attempts to insert watermark, trials to mark information of users or buyers into contents have not been successful. It is the reason that the rates of detection is decreased seriously if there are some attacks to the contents such as resizing or bitrate decreasing. In this paper, the algorithm to insert the coded watermarks of users into video contents and to detect them without original contents under attacks will be described.

In this paper, we present a method of generating intonation contour for Korean text-to-speech (TTS) system and a method of synthesizing emotional speech, both based on Soft template mark-up language (Stem-ML), a novel prosody generation model combining mark-up tags and pitch generation in one. The evaluation shows that the intonation contour generated by Stem-ML is better than that by our previous work. It is also found that Stem-ML is a useful tool for generating emotional speech, by controling limited number of tags. Large-size emotional speech database is crucial for more extensive evaluation.

During IC inspection, which includes the two parts of Mark and Lead, the deviation of IC on the tape occurring in high speed movements usually generates light reflection effect, which in turn causes errors in IC recognition as measured by machine vision system. This research filters the light reflection effect by developing standard components, identifies the correct position of IC Lead, hence fixes the measurement errors or non-measurability caused by light reflection, avoids the resulting discontinued operation of measuring system, and improves the productivity.

A kind of image analysis system is used to investigate the structural features of the papers made from Indian mallow. The screen mark on the paper was identified and analyzed. The dusts, shives and fiber bundles were manifested and calculated. In the aspect of Indian mallow hanji's surface characteristics analyzed by an Image analyzer, the average of gray level and its standard deviation hanji from the woody core were rather lower than of bast fiber pulp because of better sheet formation of the formers. Hower. high brightness hanji showed high value of gray level. The sheet formation and paper opacity were increased with the decrease of standard deviation of gray level. From these results, gray level measurement could be used to predict the paper opacity as well as sheet formation.

It is hot issue to get the competitiveness of product through reliability-growth as well as availability and safety in almost high-technology industry including military, chemistry, nuclear, telecommunication, transportation service and so on. In advanced countries, worldwide leading companies have tried to improve and develop high-reliability product as well as reliability management system(IEC60300). We investigate reliability certification systems for product and management system. Additionally, we study the feasibility on the adoption of dependability management system(IEC60300) by empirical survey on companies with product-reliability certification(R-mark) in Korea.

지리적 표시 단체표장은 WTO/TRIPs 협정체결을 통하여 비로소 범국가적으로 보호되기 시작한 신지식재산권이다. 지리적 표시라 함은 상품의 특정 품질 및 명성 또는 그 밖의 특성이 본질적으로 특정지역에서 비롯된 경우 그 지역에서 생산 및 제조 또는 가공된 상품임을 나타내는 표시를 말한다. 본 연구는 지리적 표시 단체표장과 관련된 연구를 중심으로 문헌분석을 수행하기 위해 2000년부터 2016년까지 우리나라 학술지에 게재된 연구를 대상으로 하였다. 국내 학술논문을 수집하기 위해 사회과학 논문 데이터베이스인 RISS와 DBpia 및 KISS에서 "지리적 표시 단체표장"의 주제어를 이용하여 검색하였다. 검색을 통해 총 24편의 논문을 수집하였다. 문헌분석을 통해 나타난 지리적 표시 표장제도에 대한 문제점과 시사점 그리고 이론적 학술적 의의를 제시하고자 한다.

A geographical indication (GI) is a sign used on products that have a specific geographical origin and possess qualities or a reputation that are due to that origin. This paper explores ways to protect Korean goods as GIs in the U.S. and EU by examining the efforts of the Colombian Coffee Federation (FNC) to protect Colombian coffee. The FNC enhanced the global awareness of Colombian coffee and increased the profits of Colombian coffee producers by registering Colombian coffee as a certification mark in the U.S. and as a GI under the EU's quality schemes. The Korean government protects kimchi under its own GI system. For kimchi products to earn the label "Korean kimchi," the three main ingredients must be produced in Korea. This has been a challenge for kimchi producers, who often rely on imported ingredients. Korea could learn from FNC's strategies to improve the current GI system for kimchi.
