It is realized that the extraterrestrial matter is in ionized state, plasma, so the matter of this kind behaves as not expected because of its sensitiveness to electric and magnetic fields and its ability to carry electric currents. This kind of subtle change can be observed by an instrument for the magnetic field measurement, the magnetometer usually mounted on the rocket and the satellite, and based on the ground observatory. The magnetometer is a useful instrument for the spacecraft attitude control and the Earth's magnetic field measurements for the scientific purpose. In this paper, we present the preliminary design and the test results of the two onboard magnetometers of KARl's (Korea Aerospace Research Institute) sounding rocket, KSRIII, which will be launched during the period of 2001-02. The KSR-III magnetometers consist of the fluxgate magnetometer, MAG/AIM (Attitude Information Magnetometer) for acquiring the rocket flight attitude information, and of the search-coil magnetometer, MAG/SIM (Scientific Investigation Magnetometer) for the observation of the Earth's magnetic field fluctuations. With the MAG/AIM, the 3-axis attitude information can be acquired by the comparison of the resulting dc magnetic vector fields with the IGRF (International Geomagnetic Reference Field). The Earth's magnetic field fluctuations ranging from 10 to 1,000 Hz can also be observed with the MAG/SIM measurement.

In this paper, we propose a novel MAS algorithm to reduce the amount of signaling and data traffics. To notify an MIPv6 host of the proposed operation, we design a new binding registration function into the MAG, and suggest the modified RS and RA messages. The binding registration in the MAG instead of the LMA is accomplished to support the PMIPv6, whereas a 1-bit N flag in the RS and RA message indicates where the MAG supports the PMIPv6 or not. Our proposed algorithm has the advantage for MIPv6 hosts in the PMIPv6 network in the viewpoints of network utilization and performance. To show the verification and better performance of the MAS algorithm, we evaluate the amount of traffic and its related performance, and compares those with performance of the normal PMIPv6. These results show that our proposed algorithm can operate efficiently and give better performance for MIPv6 hosts in the PMIPv6 network.
Purpose: Diuretic renography (DR) can be false negative in patients with upper urinary tract obstruction due to low compliance of the renal pelvis. Delayed parenchymal transit (DPT) may be a valuable sign in case of false negative DR. We compared the diagnostic values of DR and DPT during Tc-99m MAG3 diuretic scan in adults with suspected unilateral obstructive uropathy. Materials and Methods: Fifty-four patients(male:female=30:24, age: $40.7{\pm}15.5$ yrs) who underwent Tc-99m MAG3 diuretic scan due to suspicious unilateral obstructive uropathy were analyzed. DR with a $T_{1/2}\;of\;>\;15min$ was considered as positive for obstruction. DPT was considered to be present when there was delayed appearance of radioactivity in the renal pelvis and prolonged retention of radioactivity in the renal parenchyma. The renal area ratio was defined as the ratio of pixel number of hydronephrotic kidney over that of normal contralateral at $1{\sim}2min$ images. Definition of obstruction was improved hydronephrosis after intervention, or aggravated hydronephrosis without intervention. Non-obstruction was defined as unchanged hydronephrosis over 6 months. Results: Twenty-six renal units had obstruction and 28 no obstruction. The sensitivities of DR and DPT were 69% (18/26) and 50% (13/26) respectively. Two renal units with DPT but negative DR showed the renal area ratio of <1.1. Among the 20 obstructive renal units with DPT or positive DR, 13 with DPT had lower renal area ratio than 7 renal units without DPT ($0.97{\pm}0.20\;vs\;1.30{\pm}0.41,\;p<0.05$). Differential renal function was not significantly different between these groups. DPT correctly diagnosed all renal units with non-obstruction (specificity 100%), while the specificity of DR was 89% (25/28). Conclusion: DPT during Tc-99m MAG3 diuretic scan may be a valuable sign in diagnosing urinary obstruction especially in patients with false negative DR and early HN.
$^{99}mTc-MAG_3$ Renal scan is a method that acquires dynamic renal scan image by using $^{99}mTc-MAG_3$ and dynamically visualizes process of radioactive agent being absorbed to kidney and excreted continuously. Once the test starts, ratio in both kidneys in 1~2.5 minutes was measured to obtain split renal function and split renal function can be expressed in ratio based on overall renal function. This study is based on compares split renal function obtained from data acquired from posterior detector, which is a conventional renal function test method, with split renal function acquired from the geometric mean of values obtained from anterior and posterior detectors, and studies utility of attenuation compensation depending on difference in geometric mean kidney depth. From July, 2015 to February 2016, 33 patients who undertook $^{99}mTc-MAG_3$ Renal scan(13 male, 20 female, average age of 44.66 with range of 5~70, average height of 160.40cm, average weight of 55.40kg) were selected as subjects. Depth of kidney was shown to be 65.82 mm at average for left and 71.62 mm at average for right. In supine position, 30 out of 33 patients showed higher ratio of deep-situated kidney and lower ratio of shallow-situated kidney. Such result is deemed to be due to correction by attenuation between deep-situated kidney and detector and in case where there is difference between the depth of both kidneys such as, lesions in or around kidney, spine malformation, and ectopic kidney, ratio of deep-situated kidney must be compensated for more accurate calculation of split renal function, when compared to the conventional test method (posterior detector counting).
The optimization of the welding parameters was studied to maximize the weldability and minimize the amount of spatter in the MAG welding of automotive steel sheets under different shielding gas composition ratio. JS-EFSC, JS-SPHC steel plates and Ar mixture gases were used as a substrate and shielding gas for welding respectively. The five welding parameters were selected through preliminary experiments and their effects on the weldability were analyzed. Experiments were performed using the Taguchi experimental method. As results, appropriate range for welding could be achieved. Amount of spatter in 80%Ar+20%$CO_2$ shielding gas was 20% of that of $CO_2$welding. Therefore, in terms of high productivity and welding cost, Ar mixture gas(80%Ar+20%$CO_2$) was recommended as a shielding gas for application of MAG process, indicating the low spatter and good weld quality.
Purpose: We have examined the utility of $^{99m}Tc$-MAG3 perfusion indices for assessing renal graft function in early post-transplantation period. Materials and Methods: Our study included 80 renal transplant recipients (48 men and 32 women, mean age: 40.3 years). Diagnosis was based on biopsy, laboratory data and clinical course. Renal scintigraphy (RS) was obtained using 100 MBq of $^{99m}Tc$-MAG3 from 11 days to 23 days of kidney transplantation. We measured 5 indices in whole-kidney (WK) and cortical (C) renograms; Hilson's perfusion index (PI), transplant perfusion index (TP) and transplant function index (TF) as perfusion parameter, and the time to peak activity (Tmax) and the ratio of renal counts at 20 min to that at 3 min (K20/3) as functional parameter. Results: The diagnoses at the day of RS were normal graft (NG) in 44, acute rejection (AR) in 14, acute tubular necrosis (ATN) in 10, and Cyclosporine A nephrotoxicity (CsA) in 12. TP and TF were significantly decreased in AR, ATN and CsA, compared to those in NG. K20/3 of AR and ATN wore significantly greater than that of NG. WK-Tmax of AR was significantly longer than that of NG. K20/3 of AR and C-K20/3 of ATN were significantly prolonged relative to those of CsA. There were no statistically significant perfusion indices among complication groups. Conclusion: TP and TF reflecting microperfusion and initial tubular extraction are reliable in assessing graft function. However, it is required to correlate perfusion indices with functional indices and clinical course in differentiating from one another among complication groups.
We present the deep homogeneous UBV RI photometric data of 135,071 stars down to V ~ 23 mag and I ~ 22 mag toward the Carina Nebula. These stars are cross-matched with those from the previous surveys in the X-ray, near-infrared, and mid-infrared wavelengths as well as the Gaia Early Data Release 3 (EDR3). This master catalog allows us to select reliable members and determine the fundamental parameters distance, size, stellar density of stellar clusters in this star-forming region. We revisit the reddening toward the nebula using the optical and the near-infrared colors of early-type stars. The foreground reddening [E(B-V)fg] is determined to be 0.35 ± 0.02, and it seems to follow the standard reddening law. On the other hand, the total-to-selective extinction ratio of the intracluster medium (RV,cl) decreases from the central region (Trumpler 14 and 16, RV,cl ~ 4.5) to the northern region (Trumpler 15, RV,cl ~ 3.4). It implies that the central region is more dusty than the northern region. We find that the distance modulus of the Carina Nebula to be 11.9 ± 0.3 mag (d = 2.4 ± 0.35 kpc) using a zero-age main-sequence fitting method, which is in good agreement with that derived from the Gaia EDR3 parallaxes. We also present the catalog of 3,331 pre-main-sequence (PMS) members and 14,974 PMS candidates down to V ~ 22 mag based on spectrophotometric properties of young stars at infrared, optical, and X-ray wavelengths. From the spatial distribution of PMS members and PMS candidates, we confirm that the member selection is very reliable down to faint stars. Our data will have a legacy value for follow-up studies with different scientific purposes.
We present $JHK_S$ near-infrared CCD photometric study for the Galactic open clusters NGC 1641 and NGC 2394. These clusters have never been studied before, and we provide, for the first time the cluster parameters; reddening, distance, metallicity and age. NGC 1641 is an old open cluster with age $1.6{\pm}0.2$ Gyr, metallicity $[Fe/H]=0.0{\pm}0.2$ dex, distance modulus$(m-M)_0=10.4{\pm}0.3\;mag(d=1.2{\pm}02\;kpc)$, and reddening $E(B-V)=0.10{\pm}0.05$ mag. The parameters for the other old open cluster NGC 2394 are estimated to be $age=1.1{\pm}0.2$ Gyr, $[Fe/H]=0.0{\pm}0.2$ dex, $(m-M)_0=9.1{\pm}0.4\;mag(d=660{\pm}120\;pc)$, and $E(B-V)=0.05{\pm}0.10$ mag. The metallicities and distance values for these two old open clusters are consistent with the relation between the metallicities and the Galactocentric distances of other old open clusters. We find the metallicity gradient of 53 old open clusters including NGC 1641 and NGC 2394 to be ${\Delta}[Fe/H]/{\Delta}R_{gc}=-0.067{\pm}0.009\;dex\;kpc^{-1}$.

We observed an area of 10 $deg^2$ of the Large Magellanic Cloud using the Infrared Camera (IRC) onboard AKARI. The observations were carried out using five imaging filters (3, 7, 11, 15, and $24{\mu}m$) and the prism disperser ($2-5{\mu}m$, ${\lambda}/{\Delta}{\lambda}{\sim}20$) equipped in the IRC. This paper presents an outline of the survey project and also describes very briefly the newly compiled near- to mid-infrared point source catalog. The $10{\sigma}$ limiting magnitudes are 17.9, 13.8, 12.4, 9.9, and 8.6 mag at 3.2, 7, 11, 15 and $24{\mu}m$, respectively. The photometric accuracy is estimated to be about 0.1 mag at $3.2{\mu}m$ and 0.06 - 0.07 mag in the other bands. The position accuracy is 0.3" at 3.2, 7 and $11{\mu}m$ and 1.0" at 15 and $24{\mu}m$. The sensitivities at 3.2, 7, and $24{\mu}m$ are roughly comparable to those of the Spitzer SAGE LMC point source catalog, while the AKARI catalog provides the data at 11 and $15{\mu}m$, covering the near- to mid-infrared spectral range continuously.

Purpose Sentinel lymphoscintigraphy (SLS) was using only $^{99m}Tc-phytate$. If the supply is interrupted temporarily, there is no alternative radiopharmaceuticals. The aim of this study measure the particle size of radiopharmaceuticals and look for radiopharmaceuticals which can be substituted for $^{99m}Tc-phytate$. Materials and Methods The particle size of radiopharmaceuticals were analyzed by a nano-particle analyzer. This study were selected known radiopharmaceuticals to be useful particle size for SLS. We were divided into control and experimental groups using $^{99m}Tc-DPD$, $^{99m}Tc-MAG3$, $^{99m}Tc-DMSA$ with $^{99m}Tc-phytate$. For in-vivo experiment, radiopharmaceuticals were injected intradermally at both foot to perform lymphoscintigraphy. Imaging was acquired to dynamic and delayed static image and observe the inguinal lymph nodes with the naked eye. Results Particle size was measured respectively Phytate 105~255 nm (81.9%), MAG3 91~255 nm (98.7%), DPD 105~342 nm (77.3%), DMSA 164~ 342 nm (99.2%), MAA 1281~2305 nm (90.6%), DTPA 342~1106 nm (79.4%), and HDP 295~955 nm (94%). In-vivo delayed static image, inguinal lymph nodes of all experiment groups and two control groups are visible to naked eye. however, $^{99m}Tc-MAG3$ of control groups is not visible to naked eye. Conclusion We were analyzed to the particle size of the radiopharmaceuticals that are used in in-vivo. Consequently, $^{99m}Tc-DPD$, $^{99m}Tc-DMSA $are possible in an alternative radiopharmaceuticals of emergency.
