집중 질량-스프링 모델을 이용한 볼트 결합부 모델링 (Dynamic Modeling of Bolt Joints Using Lumped Mass-Spring Model)

  • In this paper, a new technique which models the joints characteristics through reduction of DOFs of structures with joints using component mode synthesis (CMS) method is proposed. Bolt joints are modeled by mass-spring systems. Also generalized mass and stiffness matrices for this models are introduced. Because bolt joints have influence on eigenvalues of structures, exact eigenvalues from modal test are used. The results show that the behaviors of structures with bolt joints depend to a large extent on the translational DOFs and not on rotational DOFs of mass and stiffness matrices of bolts. Furthermore it is confirmed that lumped mass-spring systems as models of bolt joints are effective models considering the facts that joint characteristics converged to constant values in some iterations and eignevalues from proposed method are in good agreement with ones from modal test.

  • In this paper, our aim is to develop a model for two cooperating flexible manipulators handling a rigid object by using lumped parameters. This model is in turn analyzed on MATLAB. In order to validate the model, a precise simulation model is developed using $ADAMS^{TM}$ (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System). Moreover, to clarify the discussion, the motions of a dual-arm experimental flexible manipulator are considered. Using the developed model, we control a robotic system with a symmetric hybrid position/force control scheme. Finally, experiments and simulations are performed, and a comparison of simulation results with experimental results is given to a rerify the validity of our model.

  • This paper discusses the numerical study on the stability of the high-speed EMU by developing its lumped parameter model including the effect of the creepage. The 6, 10 and 14 degrees-of-freedom (DOF) lumper parameter dynamic models are developed and the critical hunting speeds calculated from each model via Matlab software are analyzed and compared. It is demonstrated that the critical hunting speeds decrease while the degrees-of-freedom increase. In addition, the parametric study is conducted to extract major design parameters to influence on the stability of the high-speed EMU.

  • An efficient soldering process using the longitudinal ultrasonic vibration is introduced in this work for electronic packaging. The effects of the process parameters such as the ultrasonic frequency, amplitude, dimension of the metal bump and solder are analyzed through a viscoelastic lumped model. The viscoelastic properties of the eutectic solder were measured for calculation and evaluation of heat generation capability of the solder. Experiments were conducted to verify the possibility of the proposed ultrasonic soldering method by inserting the Cu and Au bumps into the solder block. Localized heating due to ultrasonic vibration melts the solder near the metal bump, which demonstrates the applicability of the ultrasonic soldering method to the high-density electronic packaging.

  • New design method of small-sized 3-dB $0^{\circ}/180^{\circ}$ ring hybrid and Wilkinson power divider using both lumped elements and distributed elements are presented. At the center frequency of 900 MHz 3-dB $0^{\circ}/180^{\circ}$ ring hybrid and Wikinson power divider are designed and tested. Good agreements are obtained between measured and theoretical modeling results, and at the same time the circuit area is reduced by more than 70% compared with the discributed-type circuits.

구속받는 3차원 유연 매니퓨레이터의 진동억제 제어 (Vibration Suppression Control of Constrained Spatial Flexible Manipulators)

  • For free motions, vibration suppression of flexible manipulators has been one of the hottest research topics. However, for constrained motions, a little effort has been devoted for vibration suppression control. Using the dependency of elastic deflections of links on contact force under static conditions, vibrations for constrained planar two-link flexible manipulators have been suppressed successfully by controlling the contact force. However, for constrained spatial multi-link flexible manipulators, the vibrations cannot be suppressed by only controlling the contact force. So, the aim of this paper is to clarify the vibration mechanism of a constrained, multi-DOF, flexible manipulator and to devise the suppression method. We apply a concise hybrid position/force control scheme to control a flexible manipulator modeled by lumped-parameter modeling method. Finally, a comparison between simulation and experimental results is presented to show the performance of our method.

  • A lumped parameter model is proposed for the analysis of dynamic behaviour of a Passive Hydraulic Engine Mount (PHEM), incorporating inertia track and throttle, which is characterized by effective and efficient vibration isolation behaviour in the range of both low and high frequencies. Most of the model parameters, including volume compliance of the throttle chamber, effective piston area, fluid inertia and resistance of inertia track and throttle are identified by an experimental approach. Numerical predictions are obtained through a finite element method for responses of dynamic stiffness of the rubber spring. The experiments are made for the purpose of PHEM validation. Comparison of numerical results with experimental observations has shown that the present PHEM achieves good performance for vibration isolation.

  • A heat dissipation modeling method of EEE parts is developed for thermal design and analysis of an satellite electronic equipment. The power consumption measurement value of each functional breadboard is used for the heat dissipation modeling method. For the purpose of conduction heat transfer modeling of EEE parts, surface heat model using very thin ignorable thermal plates is considered instead of conventional lumped capacity nodes. These modeling methods are applied to the thermal design and analysis of CTU EM and EQM and verified by thermal cycling and vacuum tests.

The thermal plates are projected to the printed circuit board and can be modeled and modified easily by numerically preprocessing programs according to design changes.   • In this paper, we found the improved SPICE heat transfer modeling of impulsed magnetizing fixture system and investigated temperature characteristics using the proposed model. As the detailed thermal characteristics of magnetizing fixture can be obtained, the efficient design of the impulsed magnetizing fixture which produce desired magnet will be possible using our heat transfer modeling. The knowledge of the temperature of the magnetizing fixture is very important of forecast the characteristics of the magnetizing fixture which produce desired magnet will be possible using our heat transfer modeling. The knowledge of the temperature of the magnetizing fixture is very important to forecast the characteristics of the magnetizing circuits under different conditions. The capacitor voltage was not raised above 810[V] to protect the magnetizing fixture from excessive heating. The purpose of this work is to compute the temperature increasing for different magnetizing conditions. The method uses multi-lumped model with equivalent thermal resistance and thermal capacitance. The reliable results are obtained by using iron core fixture (stator magnet of air cleaner DC motor) coupled to a low-voltage magnetizer(charging voltage : 1000[V], capacitor : 3825[$\mu$F]. The modeling and experimental results are in close aggrement.
