This paper describes the EMG signals in frequency domain using power spectral density, The changes in the moan frequency can represent the energy distribution which results from changing in load before and during fatigue. Most of EMG signal power spectrum is located between 10 and 200Hz. Shifts of the high-energy regions of the power spectra can be inferred from the changes in the mean frequency. If the load is increased without fatigue-ocurring, the high frequency regions have more energy than the low frequency regions. And if load is increased during fatigue, the low frequency regions have more energy than the high frequency regions.

This paper proposes an adaptive algorithm for the quantization step size control of MPEG-2, using the information obtained from the previously encoded picture. Before quantizing the DCT coefficients, the properties of reconstruction error of each macro block (MB) is predicted from the previous frame. For the prediction of the error of current MB, a block with the size of MB in the previous frame are chosen by use of the motion vector. Since the original and reconstructed images of the previous frame are available in the encoder, we can calculate the reconstruction error of this block. This error is considered as the expected error of the current MB if it is quantized with the same step size and bit rate. Comparing the error of the MB with the average of overall MBs, if it is larger than the average, small step size is given for this MB, and vice versa. As a result, the error distribution of the MB is more concentrated to the average, giving low variance and improved image quality. Especially for the low bit application, the proposed algorithm gives much smaller error variance and higher PSNR compared to TM5 (test model 5).

Dubaisat-1 저궤도 위성을 위한 FSK 수신기 RF 블록이 개발되었다. 수신기는 위성 명령을 위한 상향링크 채널에 주파수 편이 보상을 위한 도플러 추적 기능을 가지고 있다. 수신기는 LNA, 주파수 하향기 그리고 중간주파수 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 중간주파수 모듈은 입력신호에 대한 추종 및 고정을 위한 도플러 추적회로를 가지고 있다. 수신기는 무게, 전력소모, 추적속도 및 BER 등의 Dubaisat-1 요구사항을 만족한다.

This paper studies about reducing the complexity of ML detection in MIMO/V-blast system, based on MMSE and ZF linear detectors. Beforehand, the receiver detects the signal using the linear detector such as ZF or MMSE. Moreover, the next step is to assess whether the signal is reliable or not by verifying the reliability condition, if the latter is reliable then it is the output if not it has to be detected by the advanced detector until the reliability condition is verified.

In this talk, I will explain the implications of a rapid appearance of dark energy between the redshifts ($z$) of one and two on the expansion rate and growth of perturbations. Using both Gaussian process regression and a parametric model, I show that this is the preferred solution to the current set of low-redshift ($z<3$) distance measurements if $H_0=73~\rm km\,s^{-1}\,Mpc^{-1}$ to within 1\% and the high-redshift expansion history is unchanged from the $\Lambda$CDM inference by the Planck satellite. Dark energy was effectively non-existent around $z=2$, but its density is close to the $\Lambda$CDM model value today, with an equation of state greater than $-1$ at $z<0.5$. If sources of clustering other than matter are negligible, we show that this expansion history leads to slower growth of perturbations at $z<1$, compared to $\Lambda$CDM, that is measurable by upcoming surveys and can alleviate the $\sigma_8$ tension between the Planck CMB temperature and low-redshift probes of the large-scale structure.

Two-step neural network is designed for determining electrical discharge machining parameters in low erosion. The first neural network, which is used as a classification network, checks whether the current conditions are appropriate to electrical discharge machining in low tool erosion. If the conditions are appropriate to EDM in low erosion, suitable EDM parameters are generated by the second neural network. Theoretically known EDM conditions are produced and also utilized for training the second neural network. The trained neural network is tested how well suitable EDM machining conditions are generated under unknown machining situations Experimental result shows that the proposed two-step neural network approach could be effectively used for determining EDM parameters in low tool erosion. The results also have a practical contribution to EDM area in that it could be applied for maintaining low tool wear as well as obtaining maximum machining rates simultaneously.

스마트 가전은 멀티미디어, 통신 기능을 탑재하여 더욱 쉽고 편리한 복합 기능을 제공한다. 그러나 8bit 이하의 컨트롤러를 탑재한 저사양 생활가전은 멀티미디어, 통신 기능을 탑재하기에 성능의 제약이 따른다. 만약 저사양 생활가전에 적합한 통신방법과 복합 기능을 구현할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다면 저사양 생활가전도 스마트 가전과 같은 효과를 낼 수 있을 것이다. 생활가전의 8bit 컨트롤러는 UART를 내장하고 있으므로 와이파이, 블루투스 등의 모듈을 UART로 연결하면 저사양 생활가전을 스마트 장치에 접속할 수 있게 된다. 스마트 장치는 다양한 통신 방식을 지원하기 때문에 생활가전의 통신 방식에 상관없이 모두 접속이 가능하다. 스마트 가전의 복합 기능들은 복잡해 보이지만 실제로는 저사양 생활가전에서도 제공하는 기본 기능들을 차례로 수행하도록 만든 것임을 알 수 있다. 기본 기능은 그 종류가 많지 않으며 이를 조합하여 순서대로 수행 할 수 있도록 제어 프로그램을 확장한다면 저사양 생활가전도 복합 기능을 보유할 수 있게 된다. 단지 이를 위해 버튼, 표시장치 등의 하드웨어가 추가되어야 하기 때문에 지금까지 복합기능이 제공되지 못했던 것이다. 기본 기능에 명령 코드를 부여한 마이크로 명령을 나열하면 쉽게 복합 기능을 구현하는 매크로를 만들 수 있으며 스마트 장치의 앱으로 이를 수행하면 추가적인 하드웨어가 필요 없게 된다. 생활가전은 생성된 매크로의 마이크로명령을 순차적으로 실행하기만 하면 된다. 이와 같이 저사양 생활가전을 스마트 장치에 접속하면 에볼루션 키트를 장착한 것처럼 스마트 가전으로 업그레이드되는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

Phosphor contents are critical to the interfacial reaction and IMC behavior. - If content is too low, the dissolution rate will be very fast. - If content is too much, the cracks during interfacial reaction and the IMCs spalling will easily occur. The spalling of IMCs caused the brittle fracture of solder joint under shear test. IMCs from chemical reaction influences to the mechanical properties and life time. Composition changes from chemical reaction influence to the life time.

This paper presents a method of object classification from dynamic image based on fuzzy inference algorithm which is suitable for low speed such as, conveyor, uninhabited transportation. At first, by using feature parameters of moving object, fuzzy if - then rule that can be able to adapt the wide variety of surroundings is developed. Secondly, implication function for fuzzy inference are compared with respect the proposed algorithm. Simulation results are presented to testify the performance and applicability of the proposed system.

This paper proposes the passive redundancy algorithm of multi-controller structure applicable to the steam generator level control system in the low power operating range. In the passive redundancy scheme of multi-controller structure, two suitable controllers exist if the plant is strongly stabilizable. One of the two controllers can be selected arbitrarily only if it is stable. In particular, this paper shows that the passive redundancy scheme can be efficiently used with PID and GPC control algorithms through simulation studies on the control of the steam generator.
