다양한 데이터 트래픽을 갖는 이동 애드혹 네트워크용 라우팅 프로토콜의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of MANET Routing Protocols with Various Data Traffic)

  • MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is the structure in which a source node communicates with a destination node by establishing a route with neighbor nodes without using the existing wired or wireless network. Therefore, the routing protocol for MANET must correspond well to changes in the channel state of moving nodes, and should have simple operation, high reliability, and no routing loop. In this paper, the simulation was perform by using a traffic model with on/off two states provided by the NS-3 network simulator. Also, the duration of the ON state and the duration of the OFF state used the traffic where inter arrival time of data is irregular by generating random values with constant, exponential distribution, and Pareto distribution. The performance of the DSDV, OLSR, and AODV protocols was compare and analyzed using the generated traffic model.

실시간 시뮬레이터를 이용한 태양광 발전 시스템의 출력 변동에 따른 THD 분석 (Analysis of THD according to Output Power Fluctuation of Photovoltaic Generation System using Real Time Simulator)

  • This paper analyzes the THD(Total Harmonics Distortion) according to output power fluctuation of photovoltaic(PV) systems using real time simulator. For being close to reality, the PV system including inverter and MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) which composed of closed-loop using real-time simulator are modeled. The change of irradiance and temperature of PV module is modeled to consider the change of weather. The various simulations according to the weather conditions are performed and THD is calculated at each condition. In this paper, the results by off-line simulation are compared with the ones of real time simulation.

델타연산자 섭동방법에 의한 항공기 동력학의 연산시간 감소 (Reduction of Computing Time in Aircraft Control by Delta Operating Singular Perturbation Technique)

  • 본 논문에서는 먼저 델타연산자 접근법과 섭동기법을 소개하였다. 전자는 수치연산에 있어서 round-off error를 줄여주고 후자는 시스템을 빠른 종속시스템과 느린 종속시스템으로 분리하여 연산시간을 줄여준다. 항공기의 동력학은 종방향 혹은 횡방향 모두 장주기(Phugoid)와 단주기 운동을 동시에 보여준다. 여기서는 경비행기 Beaver의 횡방향 모델에 섬동기법과 델타접슨법을 적용하여 얻는 근사치 해를 정확한 해와 비교하였다. 그 겨로가 개루프 시스템의 경우는 단 한번의 iteration을 시행하여 얻은 근사치 해가 정확한 해와 일치했고, 페루프 시스템의 경우는 iteration없이도 근사치 값이 정확한 해와 일치하였다. 이로써 제안된 방법들의 적용이 항공기 동력학 및 제어에 있어서 매우 유효함이 검증되었다.

  • The evaluation of simulation models against ADS-33 quantitative rotorcraft handling qualities metrics has, in the past, been a time consuming effort, involving many individual analyses in both the time and frequency domains. Manual tuning of control system parameters to meet handling qualities and performance specifications has been cumbersome and complicated. Performing rigorous trade-off studies for numerous variations in the control system is too time consuming to be practicable. With the complex interaction of time- and frequency based specifications for the closed- and broken-loop responses, it is difficult to know if the design makes the most effective use of the available control power. The Control Designer's Unified Interface (CONDUIT) software makes possible rapid optimization and trade-offs of design configurations against handling qualities specifications.

Test Platform Development of Vessel's Power Management System Using Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation Technique

  • A PMS (Power Management System) controls vessel's power systems to improve the system efficiency and to protect a blackout condition. The PMS should be developed with considering the type and the capacity of the vessel's power system. It is necessary to test the PMS functions developed for vessel's safe operations under various sailing situations. Therefore, the function tests in cooperation with practical power systems are required in the PMS development. In this paper, a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulator is developed for the purposes of the PMS function tests. The HIL simulator can be more cost-effective, more time-saved, easier to reproduce, and safer beyond the normal operating range than conventional off-line simulators, especially at early stages in development processes or during fault tests. Vessel's power system model is developed by using a MATLAB/SIMULINK software and by communicating between an OPAL-RT's OP5600 simulator. The PMS uses a Modbus communication protocol implemented using LabVIEW software. Representative tests of the PMS functions are performed to verify the validity of the proposed HIL-based test platform.

자동변속기의 변속특성시뮬레이션을 위한 HILS시스템 개발 (A Development of Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation System of Automatic Transmission for the Simulation of Shifting Characteristics)

  • During the past several years, the major interests of car manufacturers in development of automatic transmission were in durability and shift quality. However, a large number of researches for improving shift quality that are based on dynamic characteristics of shifting mechanism have been rarely adopted in the developing process because it is quite difficult to predict the shifting performance from the dynamics simulation. One of the important reasons for the difference between simulation results and experiments arises from the automatic transmission hydraulic system that consists of many valves with high order model and shows a lot different dynamics to temperature variation. In this work, hardware-in-the-loop simulation system for automatic transmission was developed f3r improving the accuracy of simulated result by combining the real-time simulation model with the real hydraulic system. The real-time simulation for automatic transmission model excluding hydraulic system is executed with TI's TMS320C31 DSP and the interfacing board which includes 12bit A/D, PWM signal generator and driver, serial driver ,etc is designed for acquiring the simulation data and signal interface with hydraulic system. We verified the proper operation and correctness of shifting result by comparing the off-line simulation result with that of HILS and experimental result which was performed on transmission dynamometer driven by electric motor.

  • Software-In-the-Loop Simulation(SILS) and Rapid Control Prototyping(RCP) are proposed as an integrated development environment to support the development process from system design to implementation. SILS is an environment used to simulate control systems with temporal behavior. RCP offers seamless phase shift from design to implementation based on automatic code generation. There are several toolsets that support control system design and analysis. A few of these tools generate the control software automatically. However, most of these design toolsets do not cover temporal behavior which appears after implementation. In earlier toolsets, the design and the implementation of a control system are considered as two separate processes which mean the conventional development process is not connected strictly. SILS/RCP environments work under an identical platform and use the same representation for system modeling. An integrated SILS/RCP environment makes it possible to design controllers under conditions similar to real execution during off-line simulation and to realize controllers in the early design phase. SILS/RCP environments integrate the design and implementation phases which reduce the time-to-market and provide greater performance-assured design. The establishment of SILS/RCP and the practical design approaches are presented.

패키지후 프로그램을 이용 스큐 수정이 가능한 광범위한 잠금 범위를 가지고 있는 이중 연산 DLL 회로 (A Wide - Range Dual-Loop DLL with Programmable Skew - Calibration Circuitry for Post Package)

  • 이 논문에서는 1) 넓은 잠금 범위를 위한 이중 루프 동작과 2) 차세대 패키지 스큐 개선에 대한 전압 발생기와 안티퓨즈 회로를 사용한 프로그래머블 레프리카 딜레이, 두 가지 이점을 갖는 Delay Lock Loop(DLL)을 기술하였다. 이중 루프 동작은 차동 내부 루프 중 하나를 선택하기 위해 외부 클럭과 내부 클럭 사이의 초기 시간차에 대한 정보를 사용한다. 이를 이용하여 더 낮은 주파수로 DLL의 잠금 범위를 증가시킨다. 덧붙여서, 전압발생기와 안티퓨즈 회로를 사용한 프로그래머블 레프리카 딜레이의 결합은 패키지 공정 후에 온-오프 칩 변화로부터 발생하는 외부 클럭과 내부 클럭 사이에 스큐 제거를 해준다. 제안된 DLL은 0.16um 공정으로 제조되었고, 2.3v의 전원 공급과 42㎒ - 400㎒의 넓은 범위에서 동작한다. 측정된 결과는 43psec p-p 지터와 400㎒에서 52㎽를 소비하는 4.71psec 실효치(rms)지터를 보여준다.

온도 보상 및 듀얼 루프를 이용한 부스트 컨버터 LED 드라이버 IC (A dual-loop boost-converter LED driver IC with temperature compensation)

  • 본 논문에서는 3개의 선형 전류 레귤레이터 그리고 자동 기준 전압 조절과 출력 전압 조절 루프를 포함하는 LED 배면광 드라이버 IC를 제안한다. 제안한 LED 드라이버에서 출력전압은 이중 피드백 루프를 통해 제어된다. 첫 번째 루프는 출력전압을 감지하고 조절하며, 두 번째 루프는 선형 전류 레귤레이터의 전압 강하를 감지하고 기준전압을 조정한다. 이러한 피드백 루프와, 선형 전류 레귤레이터의 전압강하는 드라이버 효율이 최대가 될 수 있는 최소값으로 유지된다. 드라이버의 출력은 각 채널당 4개의 LED를 가지는 3개의 채널 LED 구조이다. 휘도는 펄스 폭 변조(PWM) dimming 신호에 의해 조절된다. 제안한 드라이버는 0.35um의 60-V 고전압 공정에서 설계되었고, 측정 결과 최대 85% 정도의 효율을 가진다.

임펄스 전류에 대한 ZnO 바리스터의 Pspice 모델 (Pspice Model of a ZnO Varistor for Impulse Current)

  • Generally, ZnO varistors have dynamic characteristics that the cut-off voltage increases as the time to crest of the varistor current decreases. Dynamic characteristics of ZnO varistor are the most important factor in region of the steep front discharge current particularly. Also, V-I characteristics of ZnO varistor have hysterisis loop in time domain and frequency dependency. This paper deals with ZnO varistor numerical equation and modeling method which takes the behavior of varying clamping voltage into consideration during the time to crest, in range of $1{\mu}m{\sim}50{\mu}m$, of impulse current applied to a ZnO varistor. The simulated results by the proposed model are compared with experimental results for each of the impulse current.
