영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육지식, 양육스트레스, 양육행동간의 종단적 관계 (The Longitudinal Relationship between Parenting Knowledge, Parenting Stress, and Parenting Behavior of Mothers with Infants)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the causal relationship between parenting knowledge, parenting stress, and parenting behavior of mothers with infants and to confirm the longitudinal mediating effect of parenting stress in the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior. Methods: This study used data collected through the Panel Study on Korean Children from 2008 to 2010 and the participants were 1,444 mothers with infants. The data were analyzed through technical statistics, correlations and multivariate potential growth models using SPSS 28.0 and AMOS 26.0. Results: Parenting knowledge and parenting stress of mothers gradually increased, and positive parenting behavior gradually decreased. Having a lot of parenting knowledge reduced mother's parenting stress. Mother's parenting stress reduced positive parenting behavior, and as parenting stress increased, positive parenting behavior decreased significantly. However, the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior was not significant. In addition, the mediating effect of parenting stress was confirmed in the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior of mothers. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study suggest the need to reduce parenting stress and promote positive parenting behavior along with the systematization of parent education programs in order for mothers with infants to acquire parenting knowledge.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate whether emotionality at age three predicts early school-age media overdependence and to examine the potential mediating role of internalizing behavior problems in children. Methods: This study employed data from the 4th and 10th waves of the Panel Study of Korea Children, comprising a sample of 1,270 children. Assessments of emotionality (4th wave), media overdependence (10th wave), and internalizing behavior problems (10th wave) were conducted. Data analysis utilized SPSS and the Process Macro. Results: At age 3, heightened emotionality was found to directly contribute to an increased tendency for media overdependence in early school age. Internalizing behavior problems played a significant mediating role in the relationship between emotionality and media overdependence. Conclusion/Implications: This study validated a significant longitudinal connection between emotionality and the inclination to excessively rely on media, highlighting the role of internalization behavior problems in this relationship. It is essential to provide focused attention, especially to children displaying heightened emotionality in early childhood, in order to proactively prevent internalization behavior problems and the undue dependence on media.

컴퓨터를 이용한 대인면접이 조사 자료의 질 개선에 미치는 영향: 고령화연구패널조사의 Blaise 활용 사례를 중심으로 (CAPI and Higher Data Quality: the Case of KLoSA and Blaise CAPI Programme)

  • 이 글에서는 복잡한 설문구조를 가진 사회조사에서 CAPI를 활용할 때 나타날 수 있는 장점을 고령화연구패널조사(Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing: KLoSA) 제1차년도 조사 및 예비조사에서 실제 작성한 CAPI 설문 사례를 가지고 살펴보았다. 특히 CAPI 활용이 자료의 질(data quality)을 어떻게 향상시켜 줄 수 있는가에 초점을 맞추어 다음과 같은 다섯 가지 측면에서 살펴보았다. 첫째, CAPI는 설문 논리와 경로 구조화, 응답 범위 설정, 응답 일관성 유지 등을 통하여 응답 오류를 줄여준다. 둘째, 응답자 맞춤식 설문 문항 작성, 자동 계산 및 채점, 도움말 탑재 등을 통하여 면접의 편의성을 제고시켜 준다. 셋째, 설문 문항의 순서를 무작위로 배치할 수 있어서 보기 순서 효과나 문항 순서 효과를 방지하여 준다. 넷째, 항목 무응답을 감소시켜 응답률을 높이는 효과가 있다. 다섯째, 면접 상황을 모니터링하여 설문을 개선하거나 면접원을 감독하는 데에 도움을 준다. CAPI가 가진 이와 같은 특성은 면접 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 오류를 감소시키고, 또한 면접 편의성을 제고하여 면접의 흐름을 자연스럽게 만들어준다.

종축 정안정성 비행시험기법 이해 (The understanding of the Longitudinal Static Stability Flight Test)

  • When the aircraft is developed, several flight tests are performed including stability and controllability, performance and systems, above all the most important part of the flight test is stability test. Stability test is divided into two parts, static stability and dynamic stability. Static stability of the aircraft is typically defined in terms of its initial tendency to return to equilibrium after a disturbance and not included time concept. One of static stability, longitudinal static stability, was addressed here. The longitudinal static stability was studied from the basic theory to the flight test method and also explained data reduction method throughout the flight test. Finally showed how to meet the specifications such as ROC, FAR and MIL-specifications.

  • This paper describes the numerical simulation of the interaction between longitudinal vortices ("common flow up") and a 3-D turbulent boundary layer over a flat plate To analyze the common flow up Produced from vortex generators. the flow field behind the vortex generators Is modeled by the information that is available from studies on a half-delta winglet. Also. the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equation for three-dimensional turbulent flows. together with a two-layer turbulence model to resolve the near-wall flow, is solved by the method of AF-ADI. The computational results predict that the boundary layer is thinned in the regions where the secondary flow is directed toward the wall and thickened where it is directed away from the wall Also. the numerical results. such as Reynolds stresses. turbulent kinetic energy and skin friction characteristics generated from the vortex generators . are reasonably close to the experimental data.

A dynamic Bayesian approach for probability of default and stress test

  • Obligor defaults are cross-sectionally correlated as obligors share common economic conditions; in addition obligors are longitudinally correlated so that an economic shock like the IMF crisis in 1998 lasts for a period of time. A longitudinal correlation should be used to construct statistical scenarios of stress test with which we replace a type of artificial scenario that the banks have used. We propose a Bayesian model to accommodate such correlation structures. Using 402 obligors to a domestic bank in Korea, our model with a dynamic correlation is compared to a Bayesian model with a stationary longitudinal correlation and the classical logistic regression model. Our model generates statistical financial statement under a stress situation on individual obligor basis so that the genearted financial statement produces a similar distribution of credit grades to when the IMF crisis occurred and complies with Basel IV (Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, 2017) requirement that the credit grades under a stress situation are not sensitive to the business cycle.

Edger 압연모델 최적화를 통한 후판압연 실수율 개선 (Optimization of edger model to increase rolling yields in the plate mill)

  • To increase rolling yields by minimizing trimming losses of hot-rolled plate, optimization logic for the edger model has been developed. The logic to determine optimum edging amount model has been formulated on the basis of actual production rolling data. In case of broadside rolling, the fish tail shape at the sides of plate was better for reducing the crop loss and this could be achieved when the edging amount of broadside rolling was increased. At a given broadside rolling ratio, methodology to determine optimum edging amount for the finish rolling which could minimize the width deviation of plate were systematically derived. Therefore, for a given broadside rolling condition and the permissible tolerance in width deviation of plate, it was possible to optimize the edging amount in finish rolling to maximize rolling yields. The application of optimization logic in this study increased rolling yields from approximately 10% to 30% at various longitudinal eding raitos.

Longitudinal Cut 파형해석의 응용을 위한 특성연구 (Study on th Wave-Pattern Analysis by Longitudinal Cut Method)

  • The wave-pattern analysis has been one of important research tools in the towing tank, and applied for hull form design. The longitudinal-cut method of Newman and Sharma is adopted in KRIS deep towing tank. Instrumentations and data acquisition systems are developed for that. Local effects and truncation effects are estimated by using calculated wave patterns of simple source distributions. Wigley model of 2m is used to check the accuracy of the whole system. Cut positions and truncation points are changed to investigate characteristics of the wave-pattern analysis. Coefficients of wave-pattern resistance are low-estimated in comparison with those of Maruo and Ikehata. The general quality of the system is very good, but some more efforts to increase the accuracy are required. Two full-form models(one basic form, the other with bulbous bow) are tested to show high application-possibilities of the wave-pattern analysis for the hull form design.

  • In this paper, an actual behavior of the pylon of Seohae Grand Bridge which is a cable stayed bridge and has been constructed 4 years ago was analyzed by using data acquisition system. As a result, the pylon of cable stayed bridge behaved normally with respect to the change of temperature. The annual displacement of the top of pylon(PY1) ranged from -71.4mm to +181.7mm in the longitudinal direction of the bridge. In the case of the longitudinal displacement, the displacement of PY1 was bigger than that of PY2 because PY1 is movable and PY2 is fixed in terms of the constraint condition of super structure. For the long term, PY1 will be sloped gently to the direction of Dangjin and PY2 will be also sloped gently to the direction of Pyongtaek by the effect of creep and shrinkage in the case of the longitudinal direction. The result of structural analysis showed good agreement with the result mentioned above.

An Experimental Study of Backwater Effects Caused by the Covered Reach of Urban Streams

  • The hydraulics of flow within the covered reach of urban streams is very complicated due to the accumulation and interference effect of eddies around the multipli piers supporting the covering slab. An extensive experimental study is done to quantitatively estimate the backwater rise effect caused by various arrays of multiple piers. The factors governing the backwater rise are found out to be the contraction ratio due to the piers. Foude number of the flow, longitudinal pier spacing, and the length of the covered reach. For a single section of lateral pier arralyzed and a multiple regression equation derived. The effect of multiple piers, arrayed in both lateral and longitudinal directions. on the backwater rise is analyzed in terms of the contraction ratio. Froude number, longitudinal pier spacing and the total length of the covered reach. A multiple regression equation for the backwater rise estimation is proposed based on the experimental data collected in this study.
