Objective: This study analyzed the correlation between uni-standing balance ability, jumping ability, and anaerobic lower extremity power of high school Taekwondo players. Design: Cross-sectional study Methods: Two high schools recruited 36 taekwondo players, but 5 were dropped due to personal circumstances and preparations for the tournament, so the number was counted as 31. In order to test uni-standing balance ability, the Romberg test was performed using Biorescue to measure the sway area. In order to test jumping ability, standing long jump and standing highjump were measured. For anaerobic lower extremity muscle power test, the peak power and average power were measured through 30-second pedaling using a Wingate system bicycle. Results: Participants did not show any correlation with other measures in the uni-standing balance ability test (p>0.05). Looking at the correlation in the standing long jump, standing high jump (r=0.892, p<0.05), anaerobic peak power (r=0.698, p<0.05), anaerobic average leg power (r=0.662, p<0.05) showed a positive correlation. Looking at the correlations in the standing high jump, anaerobic peak power (r=0.663, p<0.05), anaerobic average power (r=0.697, p<0.05) showed a positive correlation. Looking at the correlation in the anaerobic peak power, average power (r=0.785, p<0.05) showed a positive correlation. Conclusions: This study shows that balance ability and anaerobic leg strength are independent of each other. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the training plan of high school taekwondo players in the future.
The pure navigation system using Inertial Navigation Unit(INU) which has very accurate short term stabilities but not long term gives rise to position errors propotional to time. On the contrary, Global Positioning System(GPS) which is bounded its errors to some fixed ranges shows higher accuracy in the long term, and lower accuracy in the short term than that of INS. Recently the integration of these two systems is one of the main topic in the field of navigation system. In this thesis, the implementation of kalman filter on the real time navigation computer and step jump error compensation method is suggested.

Objective: Jump training helps increase the muscle power by improving the muscle strength and reaction time of the muscle in operation. The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of strengthening, stretching exercise and meditation on electromyographic (EMG) onset timing of rectus femoris and gastrocnemius muscle during vertical jump performance. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: Ten healthy adults (5 male and 5 female) who were familiar with the vertical jumping task and had no lower extremity injuries or any bone or joint disorders, were recruited for this study. Muscle onset timing was measured by surface EMG. After EMG onset timing were measured during performing three baseline vertical jump trials, strengthening and stretching exercises of the rectus femoris and gastrocnemius, and meditation were performed in random order. EMG onset timing was measured during vertical jump after intervention, respectively. EMG value was averaged for the three trials and analyzed using one-way repeated ANOVA. Results: During vertical jump, EMG onset timing of gastrocnemius was a significant difference after intervention (p<0.05), and then there was significantly faster in strengthening exercise than meditation (p<0.05). Conclusions: These results indicate the potential positive effect of performing strengthening exercise of the gastrocnemius before a jumping event. Future research is required to identify the effects of intervention over a long period.
Background: The purpose of this study was to a comparison of physical fitness according to the body mass index (BMI) of Chinese college students. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: According to the BMI, the research objects are divided into four types: underweight, normal weight, overweight, and obesity. This research took 26,976 college students who participated in Jiujiang College. Was expose that body is not drooped for surface of land in Event three, and knee and ankle were expose that do not unfold easily than normal person. Was expose that do not bend enough on Touch-down knee by relation that can not grasp position of the floor in Event four. 4. When taking off, the average of horizontal speed of body center are 1.80m/sec for blind people and 3.53m/sec for the normal. In this connection, the study shows that the difference of horizontal speed between the blind and the normal is bigger than difference of vertical speed, which are 1.56m/sec for the blind and 1.98m/sec for the normal. Also, composite speed also shows us big difference between 2.41m/sec of the blind and 4.07m/sec of the normal. The speed body center of take-off was expose that average adjuster are big width of deceleration than average - beginning disabled person's average by 2.23m/sec - 1.71m/sec in the vertical speed. 5. If examine change of high and low for z Sign of right hand, change of high and low showed as is small than normal person is sight obstacle, and all hand movements are small and was expose that do not use enough reaction of body as well as in ready action.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to identify how the body composition changes after jump-roping exercise. METHODS: The subjects are 40 college students, 20 females and 20 males. The subjects were selected among college students who had not taken any drug for more than 4 weeks before the experiment started. The experiment was performed for 4 weeks, from May 23rd to June 13rd, 2012. To collect the data, the vital signs such as pulse, blood pressure, weight), and the body composition were measured before and after the experiment. The data on the body composition were analyzed by the electrical resistance analyzer. RESULT: Muscle mass was increased and body fat was decreased for both females and males after the exercise. In particular the increase of the muscle mass and the decrease of the body fat for the females were statistically significant. The result that the body fat of the females was decreased significantly more than that of males is interpreted that the body fat of females are comparatively higher than that of males. Additionally the muscle mass of the left arm and leg of the subjects were significantly increased(p<.05). Correlation analysis between general characteristics such as body composition, abdominal obesity and specific muscle areas for both men and women showed generally positive between before and after the jump-roping exercise (p<.05, p<.01). However the correlation between sleeping time and each variable showed negative. CONCLUSION: A according to the result of this study, jump-roping exercise had a very positive effect on the body composition. The study suggests that college students keep jump roping for a long period to change their body composition favorably.
Purpose: This study was done to identify levels of physical fitness in student nurses and to ascertain the relationship among the different aspects of physical fitness of strength, power, muscle endurance, agility, balance and flexibility. Method: The participants were 266 students selected from one college of nursing. From May 1 to July 31 in 2003, physical constitution, muscle strength (grip strength, back strength), power (standing long jump), muscle endurance (sit-ups), agility (whole body reaction time-light, sound), balance (close-eyes foot-balance), and flexibility (sitting trunk flexion) were measured. Result: The mean(standard deviation) for grip strength was 22.59(3.93) kg., for back strength, 48.52(12.85) kg., for standing long jump, 135.29(20.54) m., for sit-up's, 23.66(9.35) per minute, whole body reaction time (light), 0.43(0.11) sec, whole body reaction time (sound), 0.50(0.16) sec, close-eyes foot-balance, 33.35(38.67) sec, and sitting trunk flexion 34.72(9.37) cm. Conclusion: This study showed that the physical fitness of student nurses is very low compared to the results in a report from the Korea Sports Science Institute. It is necessary to include exercise programs for student nurses in order to improve their physical fitness.

The IAAF published the final report in 2008 with a supplement of NSA. In 2007, at the IAAF World Championships of Osaka, in co-operation with Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences and under the leadership of Prof. Michiyoshi Ae the IAAF received a final report on; short sprint, distance running, high jump, long jump, shot put and javelin. In 2009, at the IAAF World Championships of Berlin, in co-operation with the DLV and the leadership of Helmar Hommel (GER). The purpose of this study is to draw up a plan to perform an effective biomechanics project at 2011 IAAF World championship in Daegu.
In this study, a real-time architecture for the detection of clock jumps in the GPS clock behavior is proposed. GPS satellite atomic clocks have characteristics of a second order polynomial in the long term showing sudden jumps occasionally. As satellite clock anomalies influence on GPS measurements which could deliver wrong position information to users as a result, it is required to develop a real time technique for the detection of the clock anomalies especially on the real-time GPS applications such as aviation. The proposed strategy is based on Teager Energy operator, which can be immediately detect any changes in the satellite clock bias estimated from GPS carrier phase measurements. The verification results under numerous cases in the presence of clock jumps are demonstrated.
