We show how a supplier can peg cost measures to the reliability of his time guarantees via the penalty costs considered in the framework. The framework also enables us to study the connections between the logistics network and the market. In this context, we show that even when the market base increases significantly, the supplier can still use the logistics network designed to satisfy lower demand density, with only a marginal reduction in profit. Finally we show how the framework is useful to evaluate and compare various logistics system improvement strategies. The supplier can then easily choose the improvement strategy that increases his profit with the minimal increase in his logistics costs.

CIS nations are recognized as an emerging market recently because there are abundant natural resources and a lot of investment demand. Furthermore, they are located in the middle of Europe and Asia and that make them have more strategic importance as a logistics hub. So many global companies including domestic ones began to advance into the on-site. and this tendency will be strong. On the contrary, a research in logistics environment of CIS has rarely been done. This paper provides a way of systematic approach to design logistics network in CIS with real business case and shows the analyzed result of optimization simulation that includes factors having a huge influence on the overall logistics cost.

Yet logistics base in China has a refrigerated storage facilities installed areas, the number of those is very limited and is generally insufficient. According to these especial points, a new construction cold chain logistics network design strategy is required from how to use the existing refrigerated warehouses to new issue. For example, however refrigerated storage facility is supplied, can it satisfy all demand of this area? Then does it have optimized location of this area? If future demand expansion, adding that already other refrigerated storage facilities matter? Or, add another refrigerated facilities, optimum cold chain established a network matter? So on. Above problems can be occurred. In order to solve facing many of these issues of distribution network, northeast area in China has been selected as a subject, and we designed a new cold chain distribution network.

China has experienced rapid economic growth and burgeoning trade since it began economic reforms and an opening policy. With this the amount of marine cargoes between Korea and China had been increased Recently this increasing rate of cargoes, the development of the Yellow Sea Sub-Region and the change of the Northeast Asian logistics network have acted as important factors of Korea's strategy to be the Northeast Asian logistics hub. This paper analyzes China's inland transport network to offer basic understanding on transport and logistics network in China. Therefore, the outcomes of this paper could be used as basic materials to further transport and logistics cooperation between China and Korea and to developing a more realistic plan to complete Korea's Northeast Asia logistics hub strategy.

본 연구에서는 지역적으로 집중화된 역물류네트워크(Regionally centralized multistage reverse logistics network: cmRL)와 지역적으로 분산회된 역물류네트워크(Regionally decentralized multistage reverse logistics network: dmRL)를 제안하고 있다. cmRL과 dmRL 각각은 고려되는 영역 전체와 지역적으로 분산된 세부영역에서의 RL 네트워크로 구성된다. 이들은 혼합정수계획법(Mixed integer programming: MIP) 모델로 공식화되며, 유전알고리즘(Genetic algorithm: GA)을 통해 해를 구하게 된다. 사례연구에서는 두 가지 형태의 RL네트워크를 제시하며 다양한 수행도 척도를 사용하여 cmRL과 dmRL의 효율성을 비교분석하였다. 분석결과 cmRL이 dmRL 보다 더 우수한 수행도를 나타내었다.

본 연구의 목적은 동아시아 지역을 중심으로 글로벌 항만 물류네트워크를 구축하여 우리나라의 새로운 항만정책을 제안하는 것에 있다. 이러한 항만 물류네트워크의 구축을 위해 세계 50위 항만 중 21개의 항만을 중심으로, 컨테이너 화물량과 기항지를 분석하여 EU, 북미를 연결시 최소 물류비용인 동아시아 지역의 4개의 대표항만을 추출하였다. 그 결과 동아시아에서는 싱가포르, 홍콩, 상하이, 부산항이 추출되었다. 따라서, 우리나라는 싱가포르, 홍콩, 상하이항에 해외 터미널을 운영하고 부산항과 연계하는 글로벌 항만 물류네트워크를 구축하여 안정적인 화물을 확보해야 한다.

As the importance of logistics is increasing, Enterprises try to design the supply chain(SC) network to minimize the total costs considering inventory holding cost, transportation cost and apply the efficient strategies of supply chain based on SC network. Despite of this efforts, Calculating the logistics costs without reflecting the real components of logistics like the packaging cost, transportation related cost, storage cost, loading & unloading cost, and distribution costs, the companies has many limitation to calculate the logistics cost of real enterprise. For overcoming such problem, this paper is aimed at establishing SC strategies which can be an efficient alternative for a decision making on supply chain, based on existing reference and current logistics networks of 'L' company in Korea. Also, we analyze the interaction effects between strategies as well as install the optimal SC network reflecting concrete logistics components from the viewpoint of total logistics costs using the simulation and statistic methods. we expect that analysis results of this paper would be applied various industries and be utilized to the efficient tools for the decision making by planing and execution of the logistics budget from enterprises.

본 연구는 글로벌 시장 진출 기업을 대상으로 스마트물류플랫폼 활용의 성과를 분석하였다. 기존 연구를 기반으로 스마트물류플랫폼 활용, 공급사슬지향성, 물류서비스 네트워크 관련 문헌을 분석하였다. 해당 요인을 중심으로 공급사슬지향성에서 해외시장 성과에 이르는 경로를 구조방정식모형으로 분석하였다. 경로모형에 따라 매개효과 검증을 포함하여 9개의 가설을 설정하였다. 전체 175개 기업을 대상으로 실증분석을 수행한 후 결과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 공급사슬지향성은 스마트물류플랫폼 활용과 물류서비스 네트워크에 긍정적 영향을 보였으나 해외시장 성과에는 직접적 영향이 없었다. 스마트물류플랫폼 활용은 물류서비스 네트워크와 해외시장 성과에 모두 긍정적 영향을 나타냈으나, 물류서비스 네트워크는 해외시장 성과에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 더불어 스마트물류플랫폼 활용은 공급사슬지향성과 물류서비스 네트워크 사이에 긍정적 매개요인임을 확인하였다.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, a global economic downturn and a recession in the shipping market are expected, it is important for domestic shipping companies to establish appropriate strategy in response to the recession. Accordingly, domestic shipping companies should grow into integrated logistics companies that combine shipping and logistics in the future. And for this purpose, it is necessary to actively promote logistics integration with external shipping and logistics companies. This paper presents the direction of logistics integration for domestic shipping companies to develop as integrated logistics operators with competitiveness in the global shipping market, and presents detailed alternatives. Domestic shipping companies lack the infrastructure such as ships, port terminals, and warehouses, so they have a weak capacity to independently promote logistics integration. At the shipping company level, a logistics integration promotion strategy should be established, and accordingly, logistics infrastructure, service network, and logistics integration operating system should be established. The government should provide tax benefits for logistics integration, financial support for M&As led by domestic shipping companies, a standardized information sharing system, and preparation of educational courses for nurturing digital manpower.

The market of air cargo in Korea grows very quickly and diversifies. It is an essential factor in the process of development of Northeast-Asia as a hub for Air Cargo logistics. But the process of air cargo in Korea is complex as compared with other north-east asia nations and it has many problems and causes inconvenience to owners of freight. We emphasize that 4PL(Fourth party Logistics) is the excellent solution from among many alternatives. The wave of 4PL added to strategic consulting based on new IT techniques, for example RFID, with logistics outsourcing through existing 3PL service is a great issue. It is also worthy of notice that EPCglobal network strengthen the role of 4PL. In conclusion, the 4PL system based on EPCglobal network will result in a good success, so it will raise a prestige of air cargo in Korea to a higher position. This study deals with the new logistics system, air cargo logistics system based on u-4PL system, RFID and EPCglobal network, that will bring many advantages. At the end, we verify the u-4PL air cargo logistics system by simulation tool.
