전자상거래에서의 물류서비스 개선방안 (Improvement of Logistics Service in Electronic Commerce)

  • The Purpose of this study is to examine logistics characteristics related to electronic commerce and to suggest improvement of logistics Service in electronic commerce. This paper concerns the logistics functions which are essential for completing a commerce process even under the EC environment and provides ways to improve the logistics performance. Electronic commerce have introduced two scenes; dramatic change of the existing distribution surroundings and noticeable achievement of the economic advance and social efficiency. But, in the same scene, electronic commerce can be a threat to business condition, especially logistics management. It suggests that for activation of EC it is necessary to strengthen the strategic alliances, introduce GPS and use the third party logistics positively to prepare for the settlements of traffic problems, support the introduction of integrated logistics service and logistics information system.

해운물류정보시스템의 활성화를 위한 실태분석 연구 (A Study on the Actual Condition Analysis for Shipping Logistics Information System Activation)

  • The information technology(IT) development of telecommunication, along with the informationalization over the world, enables the firms to process their inner and outer operations through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system. And the concept of logistics has become more important to the enterprises in strategic sense because it had aggrandized itself to more comprehensive and integrative concept. Also the world shipping market is more competitive than any other market. In these environment, to maintain competitve power, shipping firms process operations by Logistics Information system(LIS), And then, reduce the working processes, working time and its costs. So the LIS has become more important in developing our national logistics system and industry. Therefore, this study purposes on empirically analyzing the activation factors of shipping LIS and the relationship these factors with logistic performances in the shipping industry. Considering environments of Shipping logistics information system, this study sets up the research model and hypothesis to examine the activation factors of shipping LIS and the relationship these factors with logistic performances. We used the field data on the 163 numbers of firms(29 overseas shipping companies and 133 forwarding Agency) to get the empirical evidence. According to the study results, The shipping LIS activation factors which the sample firms recognized as important: were top manager's support, well structured communication channel, strategic plan's connection and inner informationalization level. And IS organization & human resources, IS discipline & training, software development, IS organizational alignment, database management system, information standardization, competitive advantage, financial support and government support represent partially significant. Also, the current shipping LIS's main problems are expensive system cost, standardization of working process's, institution's imperfection and system's interaction defect. So these problems must be improved to activate shipping LIS.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미래 네트워크중심전쟁에 부합하는 새로운 국방 군수지원체계의 구축방향을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 네트워크중심전쟁의 새로운 개념으로 미 국방부에서 연구하고 있는 SARL과 미래 군수정보체계에서 기술적인 혁신을 견인하는 정보 기술의 최근 발전을 결부하여 고찰하였다. 또한, 한국군에서 현재 사용되고 있는 군수 정보체계의 문제점을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 총 군수비용을 감소시키고 군수지원 속도를 향상하며 전투지원의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있는 네트워크중심전쟁에서의 새로운 군수정보체계의 구축방향을 제시하였다.

  • The compatibility of the enterprises of Korea was the 'low cost and mass production'. That in because, the entire business transactions including production, accounting, personnel management, and logistics need to be integrated with a global perspective. Logistics information system is to support the management of such logistics activities and involves in a wide range of the business operations. In other words, the logistics information system is 0 accurately and rapidly deliver and process the information available for the logistics in order to promote more smoother and efficient logistics by using such information. I'll give a brief introduction to the SRM(Supplier Relationship Management) system and go into the problem that should be considered and which phase to emphasize when building this system.

  • IMO has enacted a convention that air pollution due to emissions of ships and sulfur oxides emissions should be significantly reduced by 2020. Based on the current support policies, this work intended to draw up the government support plans required by the shipping companies. Analytic Hierarchy Process analysis was done with factors derived from brainstorming and literature studies. The analysis results showed that the cost factor was generally the most important criterion and the Financial Aid was relatively more important within this cost factor. The policy implications for the regulation of sulfur oxides emissions was provided.

군 표준차량의 플랫폼 표준화를 통한 전력지원체계 강화연구 (A Study on the Reinforcement of the Combat Support System by the Platform Standardization of Military Vehicles)

  • Platform standardization is widely used in commercial auto industries and other industries to acquire cost reduction as well as high reliability. This paper reviews some application examples and estimates expected effect of Korean army's platform standardization for combat system and combat support system. Also, military platform standardization based on utilization of commercial vehicles has been studied with the standard vehicles used in Korean army. It is estimated that outstanding results may be achieved if a dual platform, the public and military platforms, is utilized. So, when the strategy of the military transportation system is decided, "dual use" concept is necessary and this could maximize the effect of the military strategy reinforcement.

후속군수지원 데이터 분석을 활용한 무기체계 품질향상 방법론 (A Framework for Quality Improvement in Weapon System using Post-Logistics Support Data)

  • 첨단화된 무기체계는 화력이 증가하고 다양한 기능이 추가됐지만, 무기의 결함은 치명적인 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 따라서 군은 무기체계 개발 혹은 운용 시 발생하는 결함을 최소화하기 위해 품질향상의 필요성을 제기하고 있다. 최근 제조업에서는 품질 향상을 위해 품질 데이터를 활용한 빅 데이터 분석에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 방위산업도 품질향상을 위해 다양한 시도를 하고 있지만, 무기 체계 개발 단계에서는 데이터 수집이 어려운 특성으로 인해 합리적인 품질분석이 불가능하다. 따라서 본 논문은 후속군수지원 단계의 데이터를 활용하여 무기체계와 부대에 대한 결함 유형을 분석한다. 후속군수지원 데이터는 전력화 이후에 수집되는 데이터로써 무기체계를 사용하는 부대들의 정비 요청에 관한 정보를 포함한다. 이러한 정보를 통해 본 연구는 무기체계의 결함에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 선택하고, 선택된 변수들에 대한 분석을 수행한다. 이러한 분석 결과는 무기개발 시 고려해야할 중요한 요인들을 찾고, 이를 반영한 무기체계 품질향상 방법론을 제안한다. 이 방법론은 무기체계 개발 기간을 단축시키고, 결함을 줄여 품질향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

공급사슬망 설계를 위한 수리모형 수립 및 응용 (Supply Chain Network Design - a Model and its Applications)

  • Great effort has been exerted to redesign the supply chain network as a means to improve corporate competitiveness. In this study, we present a mathematical model and a solution system to help redesign corporate logistics networks. The objective of the model is to minimize total logistics costs. We applied the solution system to real problem cases. We use the model and the concept to develop decision support system that is based on C++ with the use of CPLEX callable library as a solution engine. We tested and verified the DSS for redesigning the network of a large Korean electronics company. Through various scenario analyses. we recommend to redesign their supply chain network that demonstrates the possibility of substantial logistics cost savings.

해운물류정보시스템의 활성화요인이 물류서비스 효과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Implementing Logistics Information Systems for Korea's Shipping Industry)

  • Logistics has become a key element in a shipping firm's overall strategy, now that the concept of logistics has expanded into one that is more comprehensive and integrated. furthermore, the global shipping market is the most competitive market in the world. In this environment, shipping firms are using Logistics Information Systems (LIS), which help them to save time and reduce costs. As such, LIS has become a critical part of Korea's attempts to develop Its national logistics system and industry. In this light, this study attempted to empirically determine the critical elements necessary for effective shipping LIS implementation and to then analyze how these elements are related to actual logistics performance within the shipping industry. The research results show that the sample firms considered the following factors to be most Important to an effective LIS: the support of top management; an efficient and well-structured communication channel; a solid strategic implementation plan; and a high level of information analysis internally. Other factors mentioned as being somewhat significant included MIS organization and human resources, MIS discipline and training, software development capabilities, MIS organizational alignment, database management systems information standardization, competitive advantage, financial support and government support The main problems with current shipping LIS include the expensive cost of systems, lack of standardized working processes, and weak organizational structures.

  • With the globalization of economy, there is keen competition among countries to be a logistics hub and companies are striving to be first in establishing logistics system centering on advantageous sites, especially airport and seaports, to perform supply, production and distribution. Gwangyang port has been designated as Free Economy Zone. This paper analyzes many problems and presents various measures to activate Gwangyang port as follows regional economy to promote Gwangyang Free Economy Zone, governmental support, introduction & logistics functions, early development of the hinterland, investment attraction into the area and diversified promotion & marketing activities.
