  • The Korean navy has been using the ICS(Integrated Communication System) to transfer a command, control and information on the naval ship. The major equipment for the ICS has been imported from abroad, so that there were some problems such as lack of logistics support, leaking military secrets. This paper describes considerations for the development and the key technology of the domestic ICS which is developed to solve the problems mentioned above and to integrate various future communication elements on the naval ship.

  • 최근 '정보기반 물류망'에서 'u-기반 물류망'으로 발전해 가고 있는 시점에서 'u-기반 물류망'을 위해 다양한 기반 기술들이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 물류 관리 시스템 구축을 위해 GPS 기반의 물류위치 추적 기법과 센서 Tag를 이용한 물류 배송 효율화 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 또한, 물류 배송 효율화를 위해 센서 Tag 네트워크 시스템을 제안하며, 이 센서 Tag 네트워크를 기반으로 수집된 센싱 정보를 이용하여 물류의 위치와 상태, 이동경로 등을 파악함으로서 물류의 배송이 효율적으로 이루어 질 수 있도록 지원한다. 제안된 시스템은 관리자에 의해 유지 보수 될 수 있는 제어 가능한 센서 Tag 네트워크(Controlled Network Layer)와 무제어 이동 센서 Tag 네트워크(Uncontrolled Moving Objects Layer)로 구분하여, 일반적인 센서 네트워크 시스템의 배터리 문제를 보완하고자 한다.

  • Last-Mile delivery optimization plays a key role in the urban supply chain operation, which is the most expensive and time-consuming and most complicated part of the whole delivery process. The urban consolidation center (UCC) is regarded as a significant asset for supporting customer demand in the last-mile delivery service. It is the key benefit of UCC to improve the load balance of vehicles and to reduce the total traveling distance by finding the better route with the well-organized multi-leg vehicle journey in the urban area. This paper presents the model using multiple scenario analysis integrated with mathematical optimization techniques using Geographic Information System (GIS). The model aims to find the best solution for the distribution network consisted of DC and UCC, which is applied to the case of Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. The proposed methodology integrates two sub-models, location-allocation model and vehicle routing problem. The multiple scenarios devised by selecting locations of UCC are compared considering the general performance and delivery patterns together. It has been adopted to make better decisions the quantitative metrics such as the economic value of capital cost, operating cost, and balance of using available resources. The result of this research may help the manager or public authorities who should design the distribution network for the last mile delivery service optimization using UCC within the urban area.

  • 우편물류망 시뮬레이터는 집중국, 교환센터로 구성된 물류체계에서 각 물류거점에서의 소통계획에 따라 운송할 때, 어떠한 물류체계가 우편만족도와 비용측면에서 우수한가를 시뮬레이션 하는 기능을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 우편물 종류별 처리기준, 물류거점간 운행시간, 수송단위 등을 고려하여 각 물류거점간에 직송하는 방법, 모든 물량을 교환센터로 두는 방법, 교환센터와 직송을 혼합하는 방법, 교환센터를 2곳을 사용하는 방법, 교환센터를 2곳 사용하면서 직송을 허용하는 방법에 대한 송달기준 만족도와 서비스 처리시간의 평가지표로 대안평가할 수 있는 우편물류망 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다. 우편물류망 시물레이터는 ARENA로 작성되었으며, 우편물류망 대안들에 대하여 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 시나리오 분석을 실시하였다.

  • RFID 기술을 이용함으로써 얻을 수 있는 많은 장점으로 인하여, 공급망에서 발생하는 실시간 제품 정보를 수집하고 관리하기 위하여 RFID 기술이 도입되고 있다. 기존의 RFID 기반의 공급망 관리 시스템은 제품의 위치에 따른 가시성은 확보할 수 있지만, 제품의 모든 상태에 따른 가시성은 확보하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 공급망 상의 제품 이동을 계획하고, 제품이 계획에 따라 이동할 때 발생하는 정보를 실시간으로 모니터링하고 통제할 수 있는 제품 상태 기반의 물류 통제 시스템을 설계하고 개발하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 첫째, 공급망에서 발생하는 제품 상태의 정의와 상태 변화의 흐름을 state chart로 표현하고, 둘째, 공급망에서의 폐쇄형관리 패러다임을 통한 제품 통제(감시 및 예외처리)를 정의하였으며, 셋째, Temporal data modeling을 통해 RFID 데이터 기반의 Database를 설계하고, 마지막으로, Publish/Subscribe 모델을 통해 효율적인 제품 상태 기반의 물류 통제 시스템 아키텍처를 설계하였다.

  • This paper aims to apply a supply chain modeling and its analysis framework to the supply chain in the port industry, each of which has its own objective. The simulation approach serves two purposes: to model a supply chain network in quantity approach and to evaluate its supply chain performance based on proposed strategies. The simulation model will be applied to quantifying the flow of a supply chain, the involved information and material flow and conducted to simulate the supply chain operations. The model will also be used which strategic and operational policies are the most effective in smoothing the variations in the supply chain.

A Study on Pedestrian Accessibility Considering Social Path (Social path를 반영한 보행 접근성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • Pedestrians not only walk along roads, but also pass through buildings or across open spaces. This study defines these unusual walk routes as social path. Social path is an informal pedestrian route that is not considered in a pedestrian network, even though it should be regarded as pedestrian route considering the fact that many people actually use this path. In response, current study related to travel behavior cannot evaluate properly due to lack of consideration for realistic travel behavior such as social path. In order to deal with this situation, this study analyzes the effect of social path at two complex centers in Seoul. Evaluation indices are service area analysis and urban network analysis which is one of the spatial network analysis. In particular, we subdivide the network into three steps by the level of network building and analyze each step. As a result, it is revealed that step three which includes social path shows the greatest improvement in pedestrian accessibility. In this regard, we confirm that social path should be considered when evaluating pedestrian accessibility in further studies. Furthermore, a lot of undervalued facilities will be re-appraised in the field of travel behavior.

  • Recently, RFID/USN technology has been applied in various fields such as logistics, environment, education, home network, disaster prevention, military, and medical care, but despite the remarkable development of RFID/USN technology, it is difficult to apply it to marine industry due to the characteristics of poor marine environment. Therefore, satellites are mainly used in the marine sector, and existing communication networks are used in the coast, so measures for forming a shelf-only short-range network in the ocean are being considered. In this paper, we consider the use of drones as mobile base stations of USN as a base station role using USN in existing PS-LTE and LTE networks.Since autonomous navigation vessels are aiming for the intelligent system, the number of crew and labor force should be reduced and the function of autonomous network formation in the form of more stable and intelligent ICT convergence technology should be strengthened.

Comparative Study of the Effects of the Intermodal Freight Transport Policies (인터모달 추진 정책과 효과에 관한 비교연구)

  • Purpose - The Korean government has devised intermodal transportation policies and granted subsidies to shippers and logistics companies that made a conversion of transportation means through the policies. This provides support by expanding the complex uniform railroad transportation and overhauling the deteriorated railroad facilities. As for 2013, however, the freight transportation percentage of railroad was 4.5% in tons and 8.5% in ton kilometers. Meanwhile, since the 1990s, developed countries such as the U.S. and Europe have been trying to expand intermodal freight transport with a legal and institutional support to build a logistics system corresponding with social and economic environmental changes. In this study, I set out to examine the effects of the intermodal freight transport policies in the EU and the U.S., and to explore the direction of setting up a rail intermodal transport system in South Korea. Research design, data, and methodology - The paper used a qualitative research methodology through the literature review. First, was an overview of Intermodal transportation in the EU, U.S. and UN. Second, it describes the development of transport in Europe and the U.S. with particular emphasis on intermodal freight transport. Third, it explores the direction of setting up a intermodal freight transport in South Korea. The last section contains concluding remarks. Results - As for the EU, it has been promoting integration between transport and intermodal logistics network designs while utilizing ITS or ICT and supports for rail freight intermodal by giving reduction to a facilities fee or subsidizing for rail freight in order to minimize the cost of external due to freight transport. On the other hand, as for the U.S., it has been made up of an industrial-led operating project and has been promoting it to improve accessibility between intermodal hubs and cargo terminals through intermodal corridor program, and an intermodal cargo hub access corridor projects, etc. Moreover, it has tried to construct intermodal transport system using ITS or ICT and to remove Barrier. As a result, in these countries, the proportion of intermodal freight transport is going to be the second significant transport compared with rail and maritime transport. An Effective rail intermodal transport system is needed in South Korea, as seen in the case of these countries. In order to achieve this object, the following points are required to establish radical infrastructure policy; diversify investment financing measures taken under public-private partnerships, legal responsibilities, improvement of utilization of existing facilities to connect the railway terminal and truck terminal, and enhancement service competitiveness through providing cargo tracking and security information that combines the ITS and ICT. Conclusions - This study will be used as a basis for policy and support for intermodal freight transport in South Korea. In the future, it is also necessary to examine from the perspective of the shipper companies using the rail intermodal transport, ie, recognition of shipper, needed institutional supports, and transportation demand forecasting and cost-effective analysis of the railway infrastructure systems improvement.

  • The application service to use recently an electronic tag have been activated. Therefore research about a data processing of an electronic tag have been processed widely. Therefore, object information to be collected efficiently from various former tag for requesting a data processing of XML based on used widely in Web. For this EPCIS defined the standard interface to share EPC relation data. Currently, Core Event Type of EPCIS defined the Core Type to need in EPC network currently and Types about a business context do not define according to Apply field. We apply to EPC network to a specific business We need the type about the information which defines with Core Event Type. in this paper. We are defining an reusable object type which is used often in a business area. in this way design the schema based to an object information data model of a marine logistics apply to the object type to define in this way and Core Event Type to define EPCIS Specnt.
