This study has done to extract the characteristics of contemporary urban design idea for waterfront industrial-logistics city through the comparative analysis on the 5 prize winning pieces which had submitted for "The Competition of Urban Concept for the Busan River City" by leading urban architectural designers who have futuristic and international vision. Following the analysis on design guideline with the 5 categorical subject (concept, land use, transportation, residencial area, open space), the characteristics and differences of each design are summarized. The result can be utilized for the waterfront planning and design including new town project.

The purpose of this study was to analyze export competitiveness of Korean auto parts and Chinese auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the imported products by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Analyzing period was 1998-2005. The analysis of Korean results of MCA indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained export competitiveness in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.94, 8708.99, 8708.92. The products which will have export competitiveness in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.93, 8708.39, 8708.60 respectively. On the other hand, the results indicated that the Chinese auto parts which gained export competitiveness in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.31, 8708.91, 8708.60, 8708.39. From this study, we find the following strategies for successful advancing into the U.S. and world market. i) Linking strategy through working cooperation with local auto firms, government and academic world. ii) Advance strategy of auto firm accompany by module working and system auto parts firm. iii) Retention strategy of large technical institution established by auto parts firms and taking cooperation of auto firms iv) Settlement strategy for having weaken competitive article and production field. v) Cost-cutting strategy through strengthening logistics cooperation system between auto parts firms and auto firms. vi) Active invitation strategy of foreign investment under quickly cooperating of government.

The maritime and port logistics industry is closely related to global trade and economic activity, especially for Korea, which is highly dependent on trade. As the largest port in Korea, Busan Port processes 75% of the country's container cargo; the port is therefore extremely important in terms of the country's national competitiveness. Port container cargo volume forecasts influence port development and operation strategies, and therefore require a high level of accuracy. However, due to unexpected and sudden changes in the port and maritime transportation industry, it is difficult to increase the accuracy of container volume forecasting using existing time series models. Among deep learning models, this study uses the LSTM model to enhance the accuracy of container cargo volume forecasting for Busan Port. To evaluate the model's performance, the forecasting accuracies of the SARIMA and LSTM models are compared. The findings reveal that the forecasting accuracy of the LSTM model is higher than that of the SARIMA model, confirming that the forecasted figures fully reflect the actual measurement figures.

International trade has been changed from traditional trade to e-trade due to the fast expanding of information technology like e-marketplace, EDI (Electronic data interchange) using Internet since mid of 1990's. e-Trade, as a new trade method, could handle every trade procedure such as market research, contract, customs clearance, logistics and payment using IT like internet without restriction of time and space. The evolution of transaction-based business model is upon us. The business models of many e-Marketplace in their early stages have typically been based on transaction fees. Many e-Marketplaces have even called out transaction revenues as a core element of their business plans. The transaction business represents the most simple of business models, but it does not provide a long-term sustain able advantage. For buyer's convenience, wide selection and test price hold appeal. For suppliers, the extended global market reach and direct access to customers and consortiums of customers is powerful. To maximize leverage of these new e-marketplace, you must from both a buyer perspective as well as a supplier perspective. Also required is a strategy that takes in account all of the various e-Marketplace transaction standards and one that allows the easy accomodation to new e-marketplace as the market change. These new e-marketplace will need to be factored into the sales channel strategies. To be successful, integration with these e-marketplaces should occur at a complete business process level. This study would suggest on the role of buyers and sellers for e-trade which could maximize effect of e-trade in order to cope with rapid changing IT environment and global trade environment. Therefore, this study suggests top priority tasks for implementing on the specialization strategy of e-trade process.

China is pushing a policy called China's Western Development in order to balance the continent's development level. They are connecting the rich natural resources of the mid-western areas and the capital of the eastern coastal areas of China. Since Korea depends on China the most for trade, it is necessary for Korea to always consider the trade scale and pattern changes of China. Response to changes in the transport and logistics system between the two countries is also demanded. This study aims to analyze the import and export trends between Korean and Chinese provinces of each item from the trade scale point of view. China's global trade routes reorganization and China's western development are considered and the corresponding direction is presented accordingly. The study also suggests strategies to expand the import and export scale with China based on the analysis.

Countries around the world are preparing policies to promote service economy. Recently, as the fourth industrial revolution is accelerating, interest in the service industry is increasing. Korea's service industry is among the lowest among OECD countries in terms of employment, value-added and productivity, and it is time to explore new development strategies. The Korean government is establishing a service economic development strategy to promote employment and economic vitality. However, in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the service industry is very important in that it has to be fused with the manufacturing industry. This study examines the service industry policy related to the 4th industrial revolution which the central government, local governments, and countries around the world are pursuing through literature review. The Big data analysis is used to determine the interest rate of the seven major service industries and core technologies for the fourth generation industrial revolution.

Countries around the world are propelling policies and strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of their own ports as they recognize the roles and importance of the ports in the international trade and logistics. The main objective of this study is to compare efficiencies of major container ports and analyze the factors that affect the efficiencies in the three regions of East Asia, Europe, and North America, which cover most of world container shipping. We employ DEA models in analyzing the efficiencies of 45 container ports using 5 input and 2 output variables. We also carry out regression analyses to estimate the impacts of each factor on the throughput (TEU), overall technical efficiency (OTE), pure technical efficiency (PTE), and scale efficiency (SE). The analysis results show that East Asian ports, despite being smaller in average size, make greater output and achieve higher technical and scale efficiencies than European or North American ports.

As the size of the airport terminal grows in line with the rapid growth of aviation passengers, the advanced baggage handling system that combines various data technologies has become an essential element in order to handle the baggage carried by passengers swiftly and accurately. Therefore, this study introduces the method of analyzing the baggage handling capacity of domestic airports through the latest data analysis methodology from the process point of view to advance the operation of the airport BHS and the main points based on event log data. By presenting an accurate load prediction method, it can lead to advanced BHS operation strategies in the future, such as the preemptive arrangement of resources and optimization of flight-carrousel scheduling. The data used in the analysis utilized the APIs that can be obtained by searching for "Korea Airports Corporation" in the public data portal. As a result of applying the method to the domestic airport BHS simulation model, it was possible to confirm a high level of predictive performance.

Information strategy planning(ISP) is an analysis of the organization's work, information flow, and current information systems, and planning information structures to achieve organizational strategies and objectives. In addition to the systematic promotion of the information sector in the public sector, the government is required to establish an information strategy plan in order to enhance the efficiency of the information sector. However, there are many cases in which the IT project budget is reflected without establishing the information strategy planning. The purpose of this study is to clarify the criteria for establishing the information strategy planning in order to enhance the effectiveness of the information strategy planning. For this purpose, we set up a judgment model for Information strategy planning through expert group review (FGI) and conducted questionnaires on public sector experts. In addition, we proposed a project to establish an information strategy planning and an exceptional project based on the size of iinformatization project and characteristics of informatization project.

The purchasing behavior of consumers is related to service quality and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Therefore, CSR is recognized as an important factor in company strategies. This study determines the relationship between the CSR activities of KORAIL and the reuse intention and recommendation intention of the consumer. CSR is composed of economic, legal, philanthropic, ethical, and environmental responsibilities. In the results of the structural equation modeling analyses, legal responsibility and economic reliability affect the reliability of KORAIL and this reliability affects the customers' reliability and loyalty. This paper proposes a compliance program, wagon safety information, customized tour packages, and communication strategy that will increase customer's reliability and loyalty.
