화물철도 노선별 운송 품목의 경쟁구조에 관한 연구 : 우리나라를 중심으로 (A Study on the Competitive Structure of Transportation Items by Freight Railway Lines: The case of South Korea)

  • The logistics industry is changing with the diversification of demand and related technology development. Thus, the transportation system is also changing to social problems and environmental damage, and the importance of rail freight is increasing with changes in the international logistics environment. This study analyzes railway freight competition structure using freight volume and suggests improving the competitiveness of railroad freight. To achieve the research purpose, this study was conducted using the Hirshmann-Herfindahl Index(HHI) and Location Quotients(LQ) method. As a result, the concentration trend of railway trends has increased from 0.213 to 0.238 during the last 9 years, and LQ analysis has enabled the identification of local competition lines by item. The study result confirmed that policy measures on railway freight system, railway infrastructure construction and railway operation are necessary to enhance railway competitiveness.

  • Currently, issues related to freight at Vietnamese logistics companies are becoming more and more urgent because of typical problems in Vietnam such as traffic, infrastructure, and application of information technology. This problem has been studied by applying many different approaches such as Integer Programming (LP), Mixed Integer Programming (MIP), hybrid, meta search, … In this paper, we applied the ILP model in order to deal with the VRP problem in a small size logistics company which is very popular in Vietnam. The experiments showed promising results with some optimal solutions with some small extra costs.

한국물류기업의 중국서부지역 진출 전략 (An Entry Strategies on the Western China of Korean Logistics Corporations)

  • 한 중 FTA 체결과 중국서부지역의 대개발정책은 우리기업들에게는 전략적인 기회요인이 될 수 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 물류기업들이 국내 물류산업의 활동기반을 확대하고 중국에 진출한 우리나라 기업들의 원활한 비즈니스 활동을 지원하기 위한 진출 전략을 제시하고자 하였다. 한국물류기업 32개 업체를 대상으로 설문지 방식을 이용하여 중국서부지역 진출시 중요시 고려되는 요인을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 정부요인, 현지시장 요인, 전략적 요인, 인프라 요인, 금융 및 예산 요인의 순으로 나타났으며, 정부요인으로는 '중국물류전문가 육성', '중국서부지방 정부와의 경제협력', '투자박람회 및 전시회 개최' 등이 중요한 활성화 요인이며, 현지시장 요인에서 '중국물류사업 진입 허가 및 절차파악', '중국서부지역 물류시스템 파악'이 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 또한 대기업과 중소 중견기업은 정부요인이 중요하다고 제시한 반면, 소기업은 현지시장 요인이 진출에 중요한 요인인 것으로 나타났다.

4차산업혁명기술 기반 스마트 탄약물류체계 구축 방안 연구 (Building plan research of Smart Ammunition Logistics System based on the 4th industrial technology)

  • 본 논문은 국방군수분야에서 가장 중요한 기능을 수행하는 핵심체계인 탄약물류를 4차산업혁명 기술을 활용하여 예측이 가능한 스마트탄약물류시스템을 구축하는 방안을 제시하였다. 국내외 물류정책 및 기술동향, 탄약물류 특성과 국토교통부의 스마트물류센터 인증기준을 고려해 분석한 결과, 군의 탄약물류수준은 매우 낮은 수준으로 시급한 개선이 필요하였다. 이를 개선하기 위해 탄약물류분야에 적용할 수 있는 유무선 기반 현장 자동화, 스마트 탄약고 구축, 육해공군 물류 혁신 등 각종 구축 사례를 분석한 후 도출된 시사점을 기반으로 탄약물류의 발전방향을 제시하였다. 구체적인 발전내용으로 전장 환경 변화에 부합하면서 총수명주기관점의 혁신과 효율성 달성이 가능한 데이터 기반 스마트 탄약물류관리체계를 구현하기 위해 현장업무 자동화 및 첨단화, 3D 기반 저장공간 관리 및 전시 불출 개선, 예측 중심의 탄약물류를 위한 Data 관리체계 등 4가지 목표를 제시했다. 제시된 내용을 기반으로 기대효과로는 작전지속능력 향상, 탄약신뢰성 보장, 많은 예산 절감, 지체와 대기, 이중 작업 등 비효율 대폭 개선, 안전사고 감소 등이 있을 것으로 판단된다.

화물차 공유를 통한 물류효율화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efficiency of Logistics Systems through the Operation of a Freight Car Sharing Information System among Companies)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 폐쇄된 기업별 물류시스템의 한계를 극복하기 위한 열린 정보시스템 활용을 통한 기업 간 화물차 공유 원리를 적용하여 회차비용 감소 등의 물류비용 절감을 위한 물류합리화 모형을 개발하였다. 최근에 정보네트워크의 눈부신 발전과 정보인프라가 구축되어 있음에도 불구하고 대부분 국내 물류시스템 운영은 기업별 단독운영의 폐쇄적인 분배정책에 의존하고 있어 제품을 각 기업분배센터에서 소비지로 수송한 후 분배센터로 되돌아갈 때 높은 공차율 상태로 차량을 운영하고 있어 기업물류비용 증가의 원인이 되고 있는 물류효율화 및 혁신을 도모하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 분배시스템의 유통경로 중 기업의 분배센터와 제품의 소비지를 연결하는 수송단계에서의 공차율을 고찰하였으며 이를 통한 화물차공유 운용방식을 적용한 물류합리화 방안을 도출하였다.

석유화학업체의 플랜트 입지 선정의 중요성에 대한 연구 (The importance of plant location decision-making in the petrochemical industry)

  • 석유화학산업은 대규모 설비 투자비용이 소요되는 자본 및 기술집약적 장치산업으로 공급사슬 내 구성원 간의 협력과 통합을 통한 경쟁력 강화를 추구하고 있어 입지선정시 공급업체와 생산업체, 고객의 지리적 위치와 연결성을 고려한 물류요인이 중요해지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다중적 의사결정 기준을 반영하여 입지 선정요인의 상대적 중요성을 평가하고 그 중에서 물류요인의 중요성의 분석 및 국내 주요플랜트 입지 후보지를 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 석유화학플랜트 입지선정 요인의 우선순위를 연구함에 있어 물류적 요인이 다른 산업경제학적인 요인과 비교하여 어떠한 중요성을 가지는지 분석한 연구로서 의의가 있다. 또한 도출된 상대적 중요성을 바탕으로 현재 석유화학단지의 입지를 평가했다는데 의의가 있다. 이는 석유화학기업들이 향후 플랜트 입지를 신규로 선정할 경우 물류적인 요인을 중요하게 고려해야 할 것이며, 정부나 지방자치 단체가 석유화학단지를 조성하거나 유치할 경우 물류비, 물류연계성과 같은 물류적인 기반이 확보되어야 한다는 시사점을 제공할 수 있다.

지역거점물류센터 입지선정에 관한 연구 : 아시아 지역 허브 공항을 중심으로 (Locational Preferences for Regional Distribution Center : Focused on Asian Hub Airports)

  • As supply chains are globalized, multinational companies are trying to optimize distribution networks using a hub and spoke structure. In this hub and spoke network structure, multinational companies locate regional distribution centers at hub airports, which serve demands in their corresponding regions. Especially when customers put higher priority on the service lead-time, hinterlands of international hub airports become ideal candidate locations for the regional hub distribution centers. By utilizing excellent airport and logistics services from hub airports, regional distribution centers in the hub airports can match supply with demand efficiently. In addition, regional hub distribution centers may increase air cargo volume of each airport, which is helpful in the current extremely competitive airport industry. In this paper, we classified locational preferences into three primary categories including demand, service and risk and applied the analytic hierarchy process methodology to prioritize factors of locational preferences. Primary preference factors include secondary factors. Demand factor contains access to current and prospect markets. Service factor comprises airport and logistics perspectives. Service factor in terms of airport operations includes secondary factors such as airport service and connectivity. Service factor in terms of logistics operations contains infrastructure and logistics operations efficiency. Risk factor consists of country and business risks. We also evaluated competitiveness of Asian hub airports in terms of candidate location for regional hub distribution centers. The candidate hub airports include Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Narita and Incheon. Based on the analytic hierarchy process analysis, we derived strategic implications for hub airports to attract multinational companies' regional hub distribution centers.

출판유통 RFID 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Publishing Distribution System Application for RFID System)

  • Greeting the globalization and information period of 21C, the improvement of the distributional system structure and modernization of publishing distribution are the seriously required periodic assignments for the publishing industry that is a national knowledge and culture industry to be equipped with the core competitiveness. First, it is to found a large distributional organization that is able to provide total logistics services in time that is essential to the publishing company and bookstore. Second, it is to have a logistics service to act up to the variable requirements of customers such as publishing companies and bookstores under the rapidly changing distribution environment. Third, it is to provide the standardized information of publishing distribution. It is needed to establish a total distributional center in collaboration to satisfy the requirements of publishing industry as above. By doing this work, structure of the publishing distribution system can be improved and its constitution can be strengthen, and it is possible not only to construct a stable supply system but also to realize an information-based system in the publishing industry with the construction of information system and its utilization. Furthermore, the application of RFID in the publishing distribution is essentially required to provide the symbolic model and logistics infrastructure into the 'Paju publishing culture information industrial complex'. It could be possible by growing the international recognition regarding distribution environment and strengthening the international competitiveness in the period of the ""Open door".

Prospects and Challenges of Palestinian Logistics System

  • The purpose of this paper is to shed the light on one of the most important influential factors for the development the Palestinian economy, which is logistics system. The discussion about the Palestinian state and its economy arise after the UN General Assembly voted to grant Palestine a nonmember state. Palestine is considered land-locked country, although it has seashore. Although Palestine has seashore, it is considered land-locked country due to the lack of sovereign logistics infrastructure. International Trade with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt is done through land border crossings. Palestinian international trade to European, Asian, and American countries is currently done through Israeli airports and seaports. Almost 99% of the Palestinian imports are through land. Israeli policies and procedures incur Palestinian exports additional transportation costs when delivering their products to Israeli ports and Airport and even when transit these cargos to neighboring countries through Israeli controlled areas. Therefore, without direct access to international markets, the Palestinian economy will not be able to compete in international markets, and will continue its dependence on the Israeli economy. Considering that the current situation will continue, alternative routes for international trade to avoid using the Israeli ports are Aqaba Port in Jordan and Port Said in Egypt. In the long term, having a seaport and Airport in Gaza, Airport in the West Bank, and constructing the Corridor connecting Gaza and the West Bank, is the only solution capable for independently integrating the Palestinian economy with the region and other countries in the world, and therefore creating competitive advantage for the Palestinian exports.

국가경쟁력제고를 위한 SOC투자 방안 (Infrastructure Investment for Enhancement of Global Competitiveness)

  • A recent study conducted by KOTI reported that regional and urban read congestion costs in Korea are continually rising in the ranges between 3.1% thru 4.1% of GDP in the every respective year during the past 10 years. The report explicates that the congestion problem has motivated sharp raise of the logistics expenditure from 4.4% of GDP in the year of 1998 to 16% in the year of 2003. Even though, the government has allotted annual budget in the ranges between 2.7% and 3.7% of GDP to the SOC investment for the consecutive years of past decade, the amounts are however far less and insufficient to meet with social requirements and its demands. The cost of logistics has been excessively went up much higher rate than that of other industries and that of 9.6% in Japan and United States respectively It is obvious that the high logistics cost could be a detrimental factor to fierce emulation with others in the global trade market. Therefore it is an essential matter to eliminate or exclude all the probable sources that might cause or create extra costs on logistics. In consideration of such situation in Korea, the SOC investment with private capital could be a best cogitable scheme to acquire its prompt demand solutions and stimulate the emulation ability in the international trade market what's more betterment for all of our quality life in the near future.
