조건부가치측정법(CVM)을 이용한 일반형 화물자동차 안전운송원가 지불의사(WTP) 추정 (Estimation of Willingness to Pay (WTP) of the Cost of Safe Transportation for Freight Cars Using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM))

  • 국토교통부에서 화물 차주의 과로, 과적, 과속을 근절하려는 목적으로, 2020년도부터 '화물자동차 안전운임제'가 시행 되었다. 컨테이너 및 BCT(시멘트) 품목의 '화물자동차 안전운임'은 금액이 구체화 되었고, 위반시 과태료를 부과하며 강제성 있게 시행되었으며, 2021년에는 각 항목별 조정율이 적용되어 보완되어가고 있지만, 일반형 화물자동차(카고) 및 철강재 품목의 '화물자동차 안전운송원가'는 아직 원가 구성 항목 및 금액이 논의 중이어서 권고 형태로만 적용 중이다. 본 연구는 일반형 화물자동차 최대적재량 톤수별 독차 운임에 대하여, 화물 운수 실무자들의 지불의사를 추정하는 것이 목적이다. 화주, 운수사(주선사, 운송사), 차주(지입, 개인)를 대상으로 조건부가치측정법(CVM) 중개방형 직접질문법으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 각 응답자로부터 수집된 데이터를 활용하여, 토빗(Tobit) 회귀분석을 하였다. 분석을 통해 지불의사에 영향을 주는 유의 변수(현재 운송료 만족도 등)들을 확인하였다. 그리고 추정된 결과를 활용해 화물 운임의 평균값, 중앙치를 도출하여 화물차 톤수별 지불의사금액를 각각 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과가 '화물자동차 안전운송원가' 심의·의결 기관인 '화물자동차 안전운임위원회'에 참고 자료로 활용되어, 제도가 원활하게 정착되어 도입 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

가변축 사용여부에 따른 연료소모량 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Fuel Consumption Depending on The Use of Lift Axle)

  • 가변축은 대형화물자동차에 주로 장착되는 보조차축으로써, 물류비용 절감과 도로포장면 파손방지, 유류비 등의 차량운행비용 절감을 목적으로 도입되었다. 그러나 유류비절감 측면에 대한 가변축의 사용효과가 실증적 실험을 통해 입증되지 않았을 뿐만 아니라, 일부 운전자들의 막연한 기대심리로 인한 잘못된 가변축 활용사례가 발생되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 가변축 사용 여부에 따른 연료소모량 변화를 확인하고자 실제 도로주행 실험을 수행하였으며, 실험결과를 바탕으로 연료소모원단위 모형을 개발 및 적용하여 가변축 사용여부별 연료소모량을 비교하였다. 그 결과, 가변축을 사용하지 않을 시에 연료소모량 감소가 예상되었으며, 수치상으로 공차주행 시 -0.83%, 만차주행 시 -2.15%를 나타내었다. 공차주행 시 절감율은 제도의 효과를 정량적으로 나타내는 수치로써, 금액으로 환산 시 약 300억 원에 달한다.

  • 국내 화물자동차운송시장은 급격한 정책 변화에 따른 차량수급 불균형, 불법 다단계 불공정 거래구조, 화물자동차 운전자의 근로여건 악화, 관련 통계의 부족과 같은 다양한 문제를 안고 있다. 그동안 정부는 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 다양한 정책적 노력을 기울여 왔다. 그러나 문제 해결을 위해 제시된 각종 정책들로 인한 왜곡된 반응들은 또 다른 문제를 야기하여 문제점들과 이를 시정하려는 시행정책들 간의 관계들이 점차 더욱 복잡하게 얽혀가고 있다. 이런 복잡한 구조는 국내 화물자동차운송시장 문제의 규정과 해결을 더욱 힘들게 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 복잡하게 얽혀있는 국내 화물자동차운수시장의 구조를 가시화하기 위해 복잡한 인과관계를 한눈에 파악할 수 있도록 도와주는 도식화 기법인 인과관계맵을 활용하였다. 본 연구가 불법 다단계 불공정거래구조 등 현재 국내 화물자동차운수시장이 안고있는 복잡한 문제를 개선시키기 위한 정책수립에 기여하길 기대한다.

Potential use of local waste scoria as an aggregate and SWOT analysis for constructing structural lightweight concrete

  • This study aims to investigate the influence of scoria aggregate (SA) and silica fume (SF) as a replacement of conventional aggregate and ordinary Portland cement (OPC), respectively. Three types of concrete were prepared namely normal weight concrete (NWC) using limestone aggregate (LSA) and OPC (control specimen), lightweight concrete (LWC) using SA and OPC, and LWC using SA and partial SF (SLWC). The representative workability and compressive strength properties of the developed concrete were evaluated, and the results were correlated with non-destructive ultrasonic pulse velocity and Schmidt hammer tests. The LWC and SLWC yielded compressive strength of around 30 MPa and 33 MPa (i.e., 78-86% of control specimens), respectively. The findings indicate that scoria can be beneficially utilized in the development of structural lightweight concrete. Present renewable sources of aggregate will preserve the natural resources for next generation. The newly produced eco-friendly construction material is intended to break price barriers in all markets and draw attraction of incorporating scoria based light weight construction in Saudi Arabia and GCC countries. Findings of the SWOT analysis indicate that high logistics costs for distributing the aggregates across different regions in Saudi Arabia and clients' resistant to change are among the major obstacles to the commercialized production and utilization of lightweight concrete as green construction material. The findings further revealed that huge scoria deposits in Saudi Arabia, and the potential decrease in density self-weight of structural elements are the major drivers and enablers for promoting the adoption of lightweight concrete as alternative green construction material in the construction sector.

다기능단속카메라 수집 자료를 활용한 과속운전 특성 분석 (Analysis of Speeding Characteristics Using Data from Red Light and Speed Enforcement Cameras)

  • 과속은 교통안전에 있어서 중요한 영향요인이며, 사고 심각도에 영향을 끼칠 뿐만 아니라 사고 위험성과 밀접한 관련성이 있다. 본 연구는 청주시의 신호교차로에 설치된 36개 다기능단속카메라(신호 및 과속)에서 수집한 27,968건의 속도위반 자료에 대한 분석 결과를 제시하고 있다. 이 자료에는 위반자의 3년간 위반이력을 포함한 다양한 인구통계학적 특성들을 포함하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 속도위반과 인적, 차량 및 도로 환경요인들 간의 관련성을 알아보기 위함으로 분석방법은 통계프로그램 SPSS 20의 기술통계와 이항로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 속도위반은 지방부와 도시외곽부 지역에서 많이 일어났다. 둘째, 속도위반 운전자의 약 25.6%는 제한속도 대비 20km/h 이상의 심각한 수준의 과속운전을 한다. 셋째, 과속운전자와 정상속도 운전자에 영향을 주는 변수로는 교차로의 공간적 위치와 운전자의 성별 및 연령이 선정되었다. 마지막으로, 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석에 의해 통계적으로 유의한 모형이 개발되었다(Hosmer and Lemeshow test : 11.586, p-value: 0.171).

  • 교통사고는 운전자가 주변 차량 및 도로기하구조 상태 변화에 대한 인지부족과 적절한 회피 행동을 능동적으로 수행하지 못하는 경우에 순간적으로 발생하는 차량의 물리적 충돌사건으로 정의 될 수 있다. 따라서, 운전자가 도로를 주행하면서 만들어 내는 주변 환경과의 상호작용을 지속적으로 모니터링하고, 교통사고를 유발할 개연성이 높은 이벤트를 검지하는 것은 교통사고 예방을 위한 선결조건이다. 본 연구에서는 연속류 도로를 대상으로, GPS(Global Positioning System)-IMU(Inertial Measurement Unit), 카메라, 레이더, 라이다가 부착된 조사 차량을 이용하여 도로기하구조 및 교통환경 정보를 취득하였다. 취득된 정보를 가공하여 차량의 상호 작용 및 도로기하구조 특성을 고려한 주변차량과의 충돌 가능성여부를 평가할 수 있는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 특히, 도로기하구조를 제한속도(직선부), 안전 속도(곡선부)로 구분하여 평가하고, 교통안전지표인 SDI를 이용하여 차량의 주행안전성을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 방법론은 도래하는 자율주행시대에 차량의 센서로 부터 수집이 가능한 자료를 이용하여 안전성을 평가한다는 관점에서 향후 유용하게 활용 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

임상병리과의 활동기준원가 관리 적용에 관한 연구 (The Study on Application of Activity-Based Costing System on the Department of Clinical Pathology)

  • This empirical study, activity-based costing, a newly introduced approach that has proved to be an improvement over the conventional costing system in product or service costing, is applied at department of clinical pathology in K university hospital. The study subjects were 233 test procedures done in clinical laboratory of K university hospital. Activity analysis was done by interview, questionnaires, and time study, and the amount of resources consumed by each activity and their costs are then traced and applied to the laboratory tests. The main purpose of this study were to compare the test costs of activity-bases costing with those of conventional costing, and test fees of medical insurance, and to provide accurate cost informations for the decision makers of hospital. The major findings of this study were as belows. 1. The cost drivers for application of activity-based costing at clinical laboratory were cases of sample collection, case of specimen, cases of test, and volume-related allocation bases such as direct labor hours and total revenue of each test. 2. The profits of each clinical laboratory fields analyzed by conventional costing were different from the profits analyzed by activity-based costing, especially in the field of Urinalysis(approximately over estimated 750%). 3. The standard full costs by conventional costing were quite different from the costs computed by using activity-based costing, and the difference is most significant with the tests of long labor time. 4. From the comparison between costs computed by using activity-based costing and medical insurance fees, some test fees were significantly lower than the costs, especially in the non-automated fields. As described in this study, activity-based costing provides more accurate cost information than does conventional costing system. The former approach is especially important in the health care industry including hospitals in which planning and controlling the costs services provided are the key to maintaining a healthy financial status for the organization. Despite the contribution of activity-based costing the economic as well as technical feasibilities of implementing such a cost accounting system in an organization must be evaluated. In the development of activity-based costing systems, an activity analysis has to be conducted to identify activities that consume resources. This involves a detailed study of the organization's logistics and accounting information systems, and it is an expensive project in itself. Besides, it can be quite difficult and time consuming to identify and trace resource consumption to a specific activity. Thus the activity-based costing system should be implemented only when the decrease in cost of error far exceeds the increase in cost of measurement. By combining activity-based costing with standard costing, health care administrators can better plan and control the costs of health services provided while ensuring that the organization's bottom line is healthy.

ECG 기반의 운전자별 인지 부하 평가 방법 개발 (Development of an Evaluation Method for a Driver's Cognitive Workload Using ECG Signal)

  • High cognitive workload decreases a driver's ability of judgement and response in traffic situation and could result in a traffic accident. Electrocardiography (ECG) has been used for evaluation of drivers' cognitive workload; however, individual differences in ECG response corresponding to cognitive workload have not been fully considered. The present study developed an evaluation method of individual driver's cognitive workload based on ECG data, and evaluated its usefulness through an experiment in a driving simulator. The evaluation method developed by the present study determined the optimal ECG evaluation condition for individual participant by analysis of area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) for various conditions (total number of conditions = 144) in terms of four aspects (ECG measure, window span, update rate, and workload level). AUC analysis on the various conditions showed that the optimal ECG evaluation condition for each participant was significantly different. In addition, the optimal ECG evaluation condition could accurately detect changes in cognitive workload for 47% of the total participants (n = 15). The evaluation method proposed in the present study can be utilized in the evaluation of individual driver's cognitive workload for an intelligent vehicle.

DEA와 Malmquist 생산성지수를 이용한 우리나라 온라인쇼핑업체의 다기간 경영 효율성 분석 (Evaluating the Multi-Period Management Efficiency of Domestic Online-Shopping Companies)

  • Purpose - Online shopping enables consumers to conveniently purchase products irrespective of the time and place. As a result, several online shopping companies have emerged to cater to this growing market and, therefore, the competition among them has become increasingly intense. This paper evaluates the comparative efficiency of online shopping companies for a multi-year period (2009-2013), in order to help online shopping managers identify major drivers for enhancing management efficiency and the subsequent competitiveness. Research design, data, and methodology - The researchers collected the data from 2009 to 2013 from the distribution yearbook. This paper analyzes the marketability (sales figures), profitability (business profits), and management conditions (net profits) of domestic online shopping enterprises by incorporating information on human resources (number of employees) and material resources (total assets and capital). Therefore, the number of employees, total assets, and capital are selected as input variables, and sales figures, business profits, and net profits as the output variables. In this study, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) was used to measure the comparative efficiency of domestic online shopping companies. In addition, the Malmquist Productivity Index was used to evaluate the trend of change of Decision Making Units' (DMUs') efficiency for a multi-year period. Results - First, as of 2013, Interpark (2.415) was found to be the most efficient online shopping enterprise, followed by Aladdin Communications (2.117), Hyundai Home shopping (1.867), Home&Shopping (1.176), NS Home shopping (1.170), Commerce Planet (1.126), CJ O Shopping (1.105), Ebay Korea (1.088), and GS Home Shopping (1.051). Second, this study recognizes how the management efficiency has changed for the period 2009-2013. Third, the lesser the capital and employees, the more are the net profits, and the better is the management efficiency of domestic online shopping companies. Lastly, the productivity of such companies is influenced by endogenous factors rather than exogenous factors such as shifts in business environment and technological advances. Conclusions - DHC Korea influenced various distribution channels to reach customers through the Internet. Consequently, this helped in increasing the awareness about its products, in addition to an increase in sales. These achievements can be attributed to the characteristics of online shopping companies. Although it is easy for these companies to suggest goods for one-off purchases, they however have difficulties in retaining customers. Overcoming this challenge can be one of the ways to benchmark a successful case of an efficient company. For example, an online shopping company can attract customers by developing a corresponding mobile application as a convenient way to shop online. Additionally, they can satisfy customers by quick delivery of purchased products, which is possible by building an effective logistics network. Our study indicates that the productivity of an online shopping company was influenced by endogenous factors driven by improvements in managerial practices rather than exogenous factors. Accordingly, online shopping companies should adopt strategies to improve their operational efficiency rather than sales volume-oriented management.

상표자산이 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 중국패션시장에서 (Brand Equity and Purchase Intention: The Fashion Market in China)

  • Purpose - Global trends play a part to change the structure of the fashion industry. In particular, companies attempting to conduct innovative marketing centering on such products as SPA brands are growing into global companies. SPA stands for "Specialty Store Retailer of Private Label Apparel", meaning its activities are fully integrated from manufacturing through sales, including material procurement design, product, distribution, inventory management, and final sales. For this reason, more understanding of individual corporate profitability is very sensitive to consumer's attitudinal changes. The effects that corporate marketing activities on customer lifetime value through brand attitude were analyzed based on a structural equation model. Rust suggested value equity, brand equity, and relationship equity as customer equity driver. The study examines Chinese consumer because China is the fastest growing fashion market in the world. Research design, data, and methodology - The survey targeted Chinese college student age 20s. Only respondents who had purchased SPA brands in the past year were included for this research. A total of 303, except for 47 missing data of 350 distributed questionnaires were included in this research. The questionnaire is consists of six part to measure value, brand, relationship equity, attitude toward brand, purchase intention and demographic characteristics. This research conducted exploratory factor analysis and reliability test. To verify research hypotheses, structural equation model test was conducted. As for customer equity, diversified models in consideration of the scope of acquisition data, a method of collection of data, influencing factor, and predictability were suggested based on a net present value model. However, the history of customer equity study is relatively short, and sufficient empirical analyses have not been conducted, so more integrated analysis is required. In this study, the concept of driver suggested by Rust was applied to figure out the effects that consumer's attitude has on customer equity. The customer equity driver suggested by them consists of brand equity, value equity, and relationship equity. Results - This study reveals that value equity and brand equity have a positive influence on relationship equity. And, relationship equity has a positive influence on purchase intention through brand attitude. However, value equity and brand equity do not influence on brand attitude. Conclusion - The results of this research generated following implications. First, SPA brands need to take advantage of their value equity such as perceived low price and up-to-date fashion style to attract Chinese young consumer. Second, strong brand equity promises dominants position in the competitive market. As Chinese fashion market grows rapidly, SPA brands can consider branding strategy such as flagship store and celebrity marketing enhancing brand image. Third, the core concept of customer equity strategy is to maintain a relationship with their expecting and existing customers. The relationship equity is built by brand equity and value equity. When SPA brands serves product and service meet with individual customers, customers have intimacy to the brands.
