  • This study is to investigate into the factors that influence the use of a military logistics information system in Korean army. We developed the research model based on DTPB (Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior) because the DTBP is an appropriate model in a mandatary using environment through the study of previous technology-acceptance models. A questionnaire survey was conducted with Korean army solders and civilian components who use the army logistics information system and 266 valid questionnaires are recovered. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS. The results show that perceived usefulness and ease of use did not affect the attitude of the use intention. The influence of colleagues and upper class officers was all satisfactory and computer self-efficiency affected perceived control of behavior. The results of this study will contribute to the further use of the military logistics information system and future development strategy.

  • Purpose: This paper aims to reveal similarities and differences in behaviors in negative consumer-brand relationships. Thus, we focused on consumer motivation which includes intensity and direction of behaviors. The motivation for negative customer behavior has been discussed in the context of brand hate, but there is only limited research that has tried to measure it using quantitative methods. We are trying to measure customers' motivation in negative consumer-brand relationships and reveal the relationship between in-field customers' negative behaviors. Research design, data, and methodology: We adopt Reactive-Proactive aggression to measure the motivation of customers' behaviors in a negative consumer-brand relationship. Also, to reveal the relationship between in-field behavior and customer aggression, we survey Korean game communities to reactive-proactive aggression and behaviors, whether they participate, in each observed behavior during the serial negative consumer movements that occurred in the Korean game industry. As a methodology, we run multinomial logistic regression. Results: We observed 9 behaviors in this case, and we found that reactive-proactive aggression is related to participation and motivation of these behaviors. Conclusions: We suggest the potential of reactive-proactive aggression as motivation for customers' complex negative behaviors. Based on this potential, we hope reactive-proactive aggression could be used to reveal similarities and differences in behaviors in negative consumer-brand relationships.

  • The traditional four-step demand model has limits in that it cannot reasonably reflect the logistic characteristics of freight transportation system. This is likely to cause problems when estimating the effects of logistics facilities. In order to enhance the reliability and availability of the freight demand estimation procedure it is needed to develop freight demand model which takes into account the logistic characteristics of firms. In the late 1990s, a number of researches on freight demand model considering logistics behaviors began in Europe while a few studies in the area have been conducted recently in Korea. This paper reviews recent advances of the freight model developments in the context of logistic behavior consideration. The main topics include 1) commodity classification, 2) P/C(Production- Consumption) estimation, 3) logistics network representation, 4) logistics chain model, and 5) commodity flow survey. In addition, this paper proposes future direction of the freight demand models with respect to the consideration of logistics characteristics.

  • These days, geographic information system has released in everyday life and industries. However, the shipyard only uses it to manage the layout of the yard. In this study, we apply the Geographic Information System to shipbuilding block logistics simulation to analyse the behavior of bogies and forklifts carrying blocks and materials in the shipyard. The shipyard manages daily block logistics plans at the execution planning stage. However, since it is a daily plan, it is difficult to respond to an unexpected situation immediately, and application to judge a certain value or higher value is insufficient. Therefore, a simulation model was created using the shape and attribute information inherent in the geographic information system to verify and improve the block logistics of the mid-and long-term yards. Through this simulation model, we will analyse loads on the workplace, stockyard, and road, and contribute to overall logistics improvement from the point of view of resource planning. In addition, the results of the simulation are reflected in the planning, to help support various decisions.
