진동하는 원주주위 유동의 직접수치해석 (Direct Numerical Simulation of the Flow Past an Oscillating Circular Cylinder)

  • The flow past a circular cylinder forced to vibrate transversely is numerically simulated by solving the two-dimensional Wavier-Stokes equations modified by the vibration velocity of a circular cylinder at a Reynolds number of 164. The higher-order finite difference scheme is employed for the spatial discretization along with the second order Adams-Bashforth and the first order backward-Euler time integration. The calculated cylinder vibration frequency is between 0.60 and 1.30 times of the natural vortex-shedding frequency. The calculated oscillation amplitude extends to $25\%$ of the cylinder diameter and in the case of the lock-in region it is $60\%$. It is made clear that the cylinder oscillation has influence on the wake pattern, the time histories of the drag and lift forces, power spectral density and phase diagrams, etc. It is found that these results include both the periodic (lock-in) and the quasi-periodic (non-lock-in) state. The vortex shedding frequency equals the driving frequency in the lock-in region but is independent in the non-lock-in region. The mean drag and the maximum lift coefficient increase with the increase of the forcing amplitude in the lock-in state. The lock-in boundaries are also established from the present direct numerical simulation.

  • 디지털 도어락은 비밀번호 방식을 적용한 전자식 도어락이며, 문을 닫을 때 자동으로 문을 잠궈주는 기능이 있어 외출 시 문단속에 대한 걱정을 없애주었다. 이러한 편의성을 무기로 점차 시장이 확대되어 나갔으며, 기술이 점차 발전함에 따라 반도체 키 방식, RFID, 지문인식 등 여러 가지 인증 기술이 추가로 도입되었다. 그러나 도어락 키의 복사 위험이 있고, 비밀번호 도용 및 침해가 있다. 이 논문에서는 사용자가 이러한 위험을 보완하기 위해 스마트 폰으로 잠금을 해제 하거나 열 수 있는 원격제어 시스템을 개발한다. 개발하려는 시스템은 와이파이를 이용하여 스마트 폰으로 문이 잠금이 되었는지 열려있는지 확인이 가능하고, 원격으로 문을 잠그거나 열 수 있다.

  • In this paper, the fault current limiting characteristics of a flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) with peak current limiting function were analyzed through its short-circuit tests. The setting condition for the peak current limiting operation was derived from its electrical equivalent circuit, which was dependent on the inductance ratio between the third coil and the first coil. Through the analysis on the short-circuit tests for the flux-lock type SFCLs with the different inductance ratio between the third coil and the first coil, the setting value for the peak current limiting operation of the flux-lock type SFCL with peak current limiting function could be confirmed to be adjusted with the variation of the inductance ratio between the third coil and the first coil.

  • We investigated the current limiting characteristics of flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) according to inductance variation of coil 2. The flux-lock type SFCL consists of two coils. The primary coil is wound in parallel to the secondary coil through an iron core, and the secondary coil is connected to the superconducting element in series. The operation of the flux-lock type SFCL can be divided into the subtractive and the additive polarity winding operations according to the winding directions between the coil 1 and coil 2. The current limiting characteristics in two winding directions were dependent of on the ratio of the number of turns of coil I and coil 2. The fault current increased when the number of turns of coil 2 increased in the subtractive polarity winding. On the contrary, the fault current decreased under the same conditions in case of the additive polarity winding.

자동차용 파킹 락 기어의 내구시험과 시험 지그 개발 (Durability Test and Test Jig Development of an Automotive Parking Lock Gear)

  • 일반적으로 변속기 전체에 대한 내구시험을 통하여 파킹 락 기어의 내구성을 평가한다. 파킹 락 기어 부품 하나의 내구시험에 대한 시험 기준은 부재한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 파킹 락 기어의 내구시험 기준을 자체적으로 설정하여, 내구 성능시험을 수행하였다. 파킹 락 기어의 항복응력을 구하기 위해 정적 파단 시험을 수행하였고, 항복응력의 60%를 내구시험 조건으로 설정하였다. 설정된 시험조건으로 100만회의 반복내구 성능시험을 수행하였다. 또한, 내구 성능시험을 수행하기 위하여, 전용 지그를 제작하였다. 제작된 지그가 정적 파단시험에서 파손되어, 파손된 지그에 대한 유한요소해석을 수행하고 설계를 변경하였다. 수정한 지그를 제작하여 자체적으로 설정한 시험기준으로 내구 성능시험을 수행한 결과, 파킹 락 기어는 본 조건에 충족하였다. 본 연구에서 수행된 시험과 해석을 통하여 파킹 락 기어의 성능 및 내구 한계에 대한 기초 데이터를 확보하였고, 이러한 기초 데이터는 파킹 락 기어의 설계와 개발에 중요한 기초 자료로 활용될 것으로 사료된다.

자동변속기 차량의 직결영역 변화에 따른 연비 특성에 관한 연구 (Effect of Lock-up Control Strategy on Vehicle Fuel Economy)

  • Experiments are conducted to compare fuel economy of FTP-75 mode on two different lock-up conditions; (A) Lock-up on at engine speed of 1,200(rpm) and above for 3rd & 4th gear, (B) Lock-up on at engine speed of 1400rpm and above for 4th gear only. As a result, case A had better fuel economy about 2.75(%) than case B for FTP-75 mode. Simulation(CRUISE, AVL) study is also carried out in order to estimate the effect of Lock-up control strategy for vehicle fuel economy. The fuel economy simulation result agrees with the measured fuel economy within error of 2(%). The improved Lock-up control strategy is proposed by simulation.

자기인가회로를 이용한 자속구속형 초전도한류기의 고장전류제한 특성 분석 (Analysis on Fault Current Limiting Characteristics of Flux-Lock Type SFCL Using Magnetic Flux Application Circuit)

  • In this paper, the fault current limiting characteristics of the flux-lock type SFCL (superconducting fault current limiter) using magnetic application circuit were analyzed. The flux-lock type SFCL has the structure to install the magnetic application circuit, which can increase the resistance of HTSC ($high-T_C$ superconducting element comprising) the SFCL. To analyze the fault current limiting effect of the flux-lock type SFCL through the magnetic flux application circuit, the flux-lock type SFCL either with the magnetic flux circuit or without the magnetic flux circuit was constructed and the fault current limiting characteristics of the SFCL were compared each other through the short-circuit tests.

Cases Report on Conservative Treatment for the Chronic Closed Lock of Temporomandibular Joint

  • Some treatment methods have been proposed for patients with chronic closed lock of temporomandibular joint. We report a conservative treatment for patients who had chronic closed lock of temporomandibular joint and who did not want surgical treatment. Two patients who had been treated in the Template clinic, Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital, are the subjects of this report. The subjects had chronic closed lock symptom for over 3 months after an onset of locking; conventional therapies had no effect. The subjects were treated by making them wear a Template appliance while sleeping and exercise for 10 hours a day. After periodic follow-up, significant improvement was observed for Template treatment in terms of the maximal mouth opening range. When conventional therapy is expected to be ineffective, The Template appliance can be used as conservative treatment for temporomandibular disorders patients with chronic closed lock of temporomandibular joint.

  • The hysteresis characteristics of flux-lock reactor, which is an essential component of flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL), was investigated. The hysteresis loss of iron core in flux-lock type SFCL does not happen due to its winding's structure especially in the normal state. From the equivalent circuit for the flux-lock type SFCL and the fault current limiting experiments, the hysteresis curves could be drawn. Through the hysteresis curves together with the fault current level due to the inductance ratio for the 1st and 2nd windings, the increase of the number of turns in the 2nd winding of the flux-lock type SFCL had a role to prevent the iron core from saturation.

자유회전 테일핀의 Roll Lock-in 현상 예측 연구 (A Prediction Study on the Roll Lock-in Phenomena of Freely Spinning Tailfins)

  • 본 논문은 자유회전 테일핀을 갖는 커나드 유도 미사일에 대해 Falanga의 회전율 계산식을 자유회전 테일핀에 적용하여 자유회전 테일핀의 roll lock-in 현상을 예측하였다. 예측 결과의 정확도를 확인하기 위하여 Blair의 풍동시험 결과와 비교하여 검증하였다. 자유회전 테일핀의 회전율 계산 시에 필요한 테일핀의 롤링 모멘트는 풍동시험 결과를 이용하였고 롤 댐핑 모멘트는 missile DATCOM을 이용하여 계산하였다. 이를 자유회전 테일핀의 회전율 계산식에 대입하여 자유회전 테일핀의 회전율 및 Roll lock-in 현상을 예측하였으며 풍동시험 결과와 비교하였다. 검증결과, 자유회전 테일핀의 회전율 및 Roll lock-in 현상 예측 결과가 풍동시험 결과와 잘 일치하는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.
