GIS와 GOSST를 이용한 물류센터의 입지선정에 관한 연구 (The Study of Selecting of Logistics Distribution Center Using GIS and GOSST)

  • By using GOSST theory, this paper models SSCFLP taking FLP, capacity of the facilities, single source capacitated limitation level and service enhancement issues into consideration. GOSST theory is strongly suggested as the solution procedure for these issues. We have used clustering of Center of Gravity method using the case study of the company S and then, took a heuristic GOSST measure in the alternative selection process. As a result, the research finds an alternative solution that both meets the satisfactory level of service and achieves consistent distribution capacity. When using this modeling, especially, to select the location of the logistics distribution center, the efficiency of current facilities is maximized while offering the minimum geometric distance for the alternative. Also, we can expect that the illustrated model and alternative solution can be applied to architecture of distribution system, to selection of telecommunication system locations for wireless network and to relocation of related facilities due to their sensitivities to location and weight.

WSN Lifetime Analysis: Intelligent UAV and Arc Selection Algorithm for Energy Conservation in Isolated Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are widely used in geographically isolated applications like military border area monitoring, battle field surveillance, forest fire detection systems, etc. Uninterrupted power supply is not possible in isolated locations and hence sensor nodes live on their own battery power. Localization of sensor nodes in isolated locations is important to identify the location of event for further actions. Existing localization algorithms consume more energy at sensor nodes for computation and communication thereby reduce the lifetime of entire WSNs. Existing approaches also suffer with less localization coverage and localization accuracy. The objective of the proposed work is to increase the lifetime of WSNs while increasing the localization coverage and localization accuracy. A novel intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle anchor node (IUAN) is proposed to reduce the communication cost at sensor nodes during localization. Further, the localization computation cost is reduced at each sensor node by the proposed intelligent arc selection (IAS) algorithm. IUANs construct the location-distance messages (LDMs) for sensor nodes deployed in isolated locations and reach the Control Station (CS). Further, the CS aggregates the LDMs from different IUANs and computes the position of sensor nodes using IAS algorithm. The life time of WSN is analyzed in this paper to prove the efficiency of the proposed localization approach. The proposed localization approach considerably extends the lifetime of WSNs, localization coverage and localization accuracy in isolated environments.

농촌마을계획 지원을 위한 통합계획모의모형의 개발 (Development of Integrated Planning Simulation Model for Supporting Rural Village Planning)

  • This study aims to integrate the simulation models for rural settlement planning (SimRusep) in the district level (Myon) area of rural counties. The SimRusep, which has two modules of key villages selection and spatial planning for the selected villages, consists of four sub-models such as the spatial location-allocation model of center villages (SLAMCV), the potential centrality evaluation model (PCEM), the land use planning model (LUPM), and the 3-dimensional spatial planning modeller (3DSPLAM). Basically, map data of the integrated system which can be operated on the UNIX environment is inputted and treated using GIS (ARC/INFO) and then its village planning results is graphically presented on the AutoCAD. In order to verify the practical applicabilities of the SimRusep, an administrative area, Ucheon-myun, HoengSung-gun, KangWon-do, was selected as a case study area. It was well operated in the strategic application trials considering application of each sub-model in the study area. The operation results of the SimRusep showed the possibilities of realtime simulation from the selection of key village to its final stereoscopic presentation of planned results. Alternative village plan proposals can be swiftly drafted, which means very practical support for decision making process and public participation.

Sector Based Scanning and Adaptive Active Tracking of Multiple Objects

  • This paper presents an adaptive active tracking system with sector based scanning for a single PTZ camera. Dividing sectors on an image reduces the search space to shorten selection time so that the system can cover many targets. Upon the selection of a target, the system estimates the target trajectory to predict the zooming location with a finite amount of time for camera movement. Advanced estimation techniques using probabilistic reason suffer from the unknown object dynamics and the inaccurate estimation compromises the zooming level to prevent tracking failure. The proposed system uses the simple piecewise estimation with a few frames to cope with fast moving objects and/or slow camera movements. The target is tracked in multiple steps and the zooming time for each step is determined by maximizing the zooming level within the expected variation of object velocity and detection. The number of zooming steps is adaptively determined according to target speed. In addition, the iterative estimation of a zooming location with camera movement time compensates for the target prediction error due to the difference between speeds of a target and a camera. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by simulations and real time experiments.

철도사업 환경성평가서 검토시 주요항목에 대한 분석 (Analysis of Major Environmental Items for Railroad Construction in the EIA Process)

  • Recently, railroad construction becomes an alternative considering environmental merits such as mass transportation, safety, economy and energy efficiency. Also railroad can have 3 to 4 times better in economy compared to road construction. However, long line and unavoidable sensitive areas hinders railroad construction often resulted in ecosystem degradation. This paper reviewed 27 cases of EIS submitted during 2003-2006 and reviewed major issues on Animal-Plants and Landscape. Noise-Vibration (13.5%), Water Quality (13.5%), Wastes (10.8%) appeared to be most frequent factors to supplement. Route selection in the railroad is the most sensitive issues so that public participation and hearing should be involved in the early stage of the process and social and cultural factors also must be considered to make a final decision on the railroad route location and selection.

  • The updating of FE model to match it with the experimental results needs the modal information. There are two cases where this methodology is ill-equip to deal with; under-determined and ill-conditioning problem. The feedback exciter that uses the summation of the white noise and the signals from the measurement sensors multiplied with feedback gains can deal with these problems as the new modal data from the closed loop system generate more constraints the updating parameters should obey. The new modal data from the closed loop system should be different to enhance the condition of the modal sensitivity matrix. In this research, a guide for the selection of the sensor locations and the decision of the corresponding output feedback gains is proposed. This method is based on the sensitivity of the modal data with respect to the feedback gains. Through the proper selection of the exciter and sensor locations and the feedback gain, the eigenvalue sensitivity of the updating parameters which cause the ill-conditioning of the modal sensitivity matrix can be modified and consequently the error contamination in updating parameters are reduced.

신호원과의 거리 차이와 실근 선택 알고리즘을 이용한 상대위치 인식 기술 연구 (A Study on the Relative Positioning Technology based on Range Difference and Root Selection)

  • 실내에서의 위치기반 서비스 및 상황인식 서비스를 위해서는 실내에서의 정밀한 위치인식 기술이 필수적이다. 신호원과 여러 개의 신호 수신기와의 거리 차이를 이용하여 신호원의 상대위치를 추정하는 TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival) 기술이 사용되고 있는데, 거리 차이 측정의 오차에 따른 위치 추정 오차가 발생하므로 이를 최소화하기 위한 연구가 많이 진행되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 신호원과의 거리 차이값을 이용하여 계산된 여러 근중에서 실제의 근을 선별하고 이를 평균내어 신호원의 위치를 추정하는 알고리즘이 제안되었으며, 기존의 방법에 비해 오차가 개선되었다.

확률밀도함수의 불연속점 추정을 위한 띠폭 선택 (Bandwidth selection for discontinuity point estimation in density)

  • Huh (2002)는 확률밀도함수가 하나의 불연속점을 가질 때, 한쪽방향커널함수를 이용하여 확률 밀도함수의 오른쪽과 왼쪽 커널추정량을 제시하여 그 차를 최대로 하는 점을 불연속점의 위치추정량으로 제안하였다. 커널추정량의 평활모수인 띠폭의 선택의 중요함은 익히 알려져 있다. 최대가능도 교차타당성은 확률밀도함수의 커널추정량에서 띠폭 선택의 기준으로 널리 쓰여지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한쪽방향커널함수를 이용한 확률밀도함수의 오른쪽과 왼쪽 커널추정량들의 띠폭의 선택 방법을 Hart와 Yi (1998)의 한쪽방향교차타당성의 방법론을 최대가능도교차타당성에 적용하여 제안하고자 한다. 소표본 모의실험을 통하여 연구결과를 제시하고자 한다.

최소자승법을 적용한 이동객체 위치인식 보정 알고리즘 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of the Localization Compensation Algorithm for Moving Objects Using the Least-squares Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동객체의 위치인식 정확도 향상을 위하여 최소자승법을 적용한 이동객체 위치인식 보정 알고리즘을 제안하고, 성능을 분석하였다. 제안한 보정 알고리즘은 일정한 속도로 이동 중인 이동객체의 거리 값들을 TMVS (TWR Minimum Value Selection) 기법으로 측정 한 후, 이 값들을 사용하여 삼변측량법으로 이동객체의 위치를 측정하고, 최소자승법을 적용하여 위치인식 값을 보정한다. 실험결과, 시나리오 1 및 2에서 제안하는 보정알고리즘을 적용한 위치인식의 성능은 기존의 삼변측량법을 적16용한 위치인식의 성능에 비해 위치인식 정확도가 시나리오별 각각 58.84%, 40.28% 개선됨을 확인하였다.

  • 모바일 환경에서 벡터 지도 서비스를 위해서는 지도 일반화(map generalization) 과정을 통한 지도 간소화 작업이 지도 인지도를 높이는데 큰 도움이 된다. 일반화 연산은 selection, aggregation, simplification, displacement 등 다양하지만 아직 정형화된 연산 알고리즘이 확립되지 못하고 있다. 그 이유는 지도 일반화 알고리즘을 위해서는 자동화되기 어려운 상당한 전문적 지식과 판단이 필요하기 때문이다. 본 논문은 기존의 시도된 일반화 연산 알고리즘들에 기초하여 모바일 환경에 적합한 알고리즘을 고찰하고 제시한다. 복잡한 공간 객체를 제한된 자원의 모바일 기기에 효율적으로 출력하기 위한 다양한 접근 방법을 모바일 환경에 적용하는 과정을 보인다.
