송전선로 거리표정치에 대한 실 고장거리의 확률적 예측방안 (A study on the prediction method of the real fault distance using probability to the relay data of transmission line fault location)

  • The fault location is obtained from the distance relay that detects the fault of the transmission line. In this time, transmission line crews track down the fault location and the reasons. However, because of having error at the fault location of the distance relay, there is a discordance between real and obtained fault location. As this reason, the inspection time for finding fault location can be longer. In this paper, we proposed the statistical (regression) analysis method based on each type of relay's the historical fault location data and the real fault distance data to improve the problems. With finding the regression equation based on the regression analysis, and putting the relay fault location into that equation, the real fault distance is calculated. As a result of the Prediction fault location, the inspection time of transmission line can be reduced.

Analytical and sensitivity approaches for the sizing and placement of single DG in radial system

  • Rapid depletion of fossil based oil, coal and gas reserves and its greater demand day by day necessitates the search for other alternatives. Severe environmental impacts caused by the fossil fire based power plants and the escalating fuel costs are the major challenges faced by the electricity supply industry. Integration of Distributed Generators (DG) especially, wind and solar systems to the grid has been steadily increasing due to the concern of clean environment. This paper focuses on a new simple and fast load flow algorithm named Backward Forward Sweep Algorithm (BFSA) for finding the voltage profile and power losses with the integration of various sizes of DG at different locations. Genetic Algorithm (GA) based BFSA is adopted in finding the optimal location and sizing of DG to attain an improved voltage profile and considerable reduced power loss. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient in finding the optimal location and sizing of DG in 15-bus radial distribution system (RDS).The authenticity of the placement of optimized DG is assured with other DG placement techniques.

  • 최근의 검색시스템에서는 두 객체집합에 대하여 가장 근접해 있는 K개의 객체 쌍을 찾는 질의가 자주 발생한다. 이러한 K개의 최대근접 객체 쌍을 찾는 질의를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해서는 객체의 순환적 위치속성이 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문은 순환도메인을 갖는 검색공간에서 서로 간에 가장 근접해 있는 K개의 객체쌍을 찾는 최적의 알고리즘을 제안하고 그 성능을 실험을 통하여 보인다. 제안한 알고리즘은 객체의 순환적 위치속성이 반영된 순환검색거리를 이용하여 K개의 최대 근접객체 쌍을 찾는 비용을 최적화한다.

A New Route Guidance Method Considering Pedestrian Level of Service using Multi-Criteria Decision Making Technique

  • The route finding analysis is an essential geo-related decision support tool in a LBS(Location based Services) and previous researches related to route guidance have been mainly focused on route guidances for vehicles. However, due to the recent spread of personal computing devices such as PDA, PMP and smart phone, route guidance for pedestrians have been increasingly in demand. The pedestrian route guidance is different from vehicle route guidance because pedestrians are affected more surrounding environment than vehicles. Therefore, pedestrian path finding needs considerations of factors affecting walking. This paper aimed to extract factors affecting walking and charting the factors for application factors affecting walking to pedestrian path finding. In this paper, we found various factors about environment of road for pedestrian and extract the factors affecting walking. Factors affecting walking consist of 4 categories traffic, sidewalk, network, safety facility. We calculated weights about each factor using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Based on weights we calculated scores about each factor's attribute. The weight is maximum score of factor. These scores of factor are used to optimal pedestrian path finding as path finding cost with distance, accessibility.

The Architecture of an Intelligent Digital Twin for a Cyber-Physical Route-Finding System in Smart Cities

  • Within an intelligent automated cyber-physical system, the realization of the autonomous mechanism for data collection, data integration, and data analysis plays a critical role in the design, development, operation, and maintenance of such a system. This construct is particularly vital for fault-tolerant route-finding systems that rely on the imprecise GPS location of the vehicles to properly operate, timely plan, and continuously produce informative feedback to the user. More essentially, the integration of digital twins with cyber-physical route-finding systems has been overlooked in intelligent transportation services with the capacity to construct the network routes solely from the locations of the operating vehicles. To address this limitation, the present study proposes a conceptual architecture that employs digital twin to autonomously maintain, update, and manage intelligent transportation systems. This virtual management simulation can improve the accuracy of time-of-arrival prediction based on auto-generated routes on which the vehicle's real-time location is mapped. To that end, first, an intelligent transportation system was developed based on two primary mechanisms: 1) an automated route finding process in which predictive data-driven models (i.e., regularized least-squares regression) can elicit the geometry and direction of the routes of the transportation network from the cloud of geotagged data points of the operating vehicles and 2) an intelligent mapping process capable of accurately locating the vehicles on the map whereby their arrival times to any point on the route can be estimated. Afterward, the digital representations of the physical entities (i.e., vehicles and routes) were simulated based on the auto-generated routes and the vehicles' locations in near-real-time. Finally, the feasibility and usability of the presented conceptual framework were evaluated through the comparison between the primary characteristics of the physical entities with their digital representations. The proposed architecture can be used by the vehicle-tracking applications dependent on geotagged data for digital mapping and location tracking of vehicles under a systematic comparison and simulation cyber-physical system.

  • This paper proposes a new algorithm for finding the vertex location of triangle and rectangle. The algorithm accumulates the number of occurrences of chain codes which range from 0 to 7 and computes the location of vertices using the accumulated value. Hardware and software system were constructed using IBM-PC/AT and VAX-11/780 for the experiment.

  • This paper proposes the FACTS site selection method using subtransmission system reduction. A general method which uses the sensitivity of the variation in voltage and reactive power has been used to determine the location of shunt type FACTS device, but there is a difficulty to finding a proper location due to the overestimation of the effect of sub-transmission systems. Therefore, there is a need to reduce sub-transmission system for finding an effective location of shunt type FACTS devices such as SVC(Static Var Compensator), STATCOM(Static Synchronous Compesator), and so on.

사용자 위치 기반의 모바일 길 찾기 어플리케이션 (Mobile Way-Finding Application of User Location Base)

  • 본 논문에서는 아이폰의 GPS 기능과 Mapkit 프레임워크를 이용하여 사용자 간에 길 안내를 전달하는 모바일 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 아이폰의 GPS 기능은 사용자의 현재 위치를 얻을 수 있으며, Mapkit 프레임워크를 이용하여 지도에 각각의 위치를 표시 할 수 있다. 사용자는 목적지로 이동하면서 안내가 필요한 지점에서 어플리케이션을 터치하여 기록한다. 사용자는 목적지에 도착할 때까지 기록된 내용을 Google 지도를 통해 확인할 수 있으며, 목적지로 찾아올 다른 사용자에게 데이터를 전달한다. 데이터를 받은 다른 사용자는 카메라의 Overlay 위에 나타나는 다음 위치 아이콘으로 목표 위치를 보거나, 지도 화면을 확인 하면서 목적지로 가기 위해 이동해야 할 다음 위치를 쉽게 안내 받을 수 있다. 즉, 제안 어플리케이션은 사용자가 처음 가는 길 임에도 다른 사용자의 데이터를 전송 받아 손쉽게 길을 안내하는 유용한 기능을 제공한다.

암호화를 적용한 위치 공유 앱 개발 (Development of Location Sharing App with Encryption)

  • 인터넷상에서 친구 위치 찾기 또는 배달 상황 공유 등 앱에서 위치 공유하는 경우가 많아지고 있다. 그러나 위치 정보는 개인의 중요한 정보이고, 경우에 따라 범죄 등 악용될 수도 있기 때문에 이러한 앱을 개발할 때는 위치 정보에 대한 암호화는 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문은 친구 찾기, 모임 장소 정하기 등의 목적으로 친구들 사이의 위치 정보를 암호화하여 공유하는 앱을 개발하는 것이다. 암호화의 성능을 높이기 위하여 비대칭 키를 이용하여 대칭 키를 암호화하여 전송하였고, 위치 공유를 위해서는 오직 대칭 키만 이용하여 암호화하였다. 제안한 앱은 iOS 상에서 개발되었으며, 성능 측정결과 위치 정보 암호화에 대하여 비대칭 키를 사용하는 것보다 대칭 키를 사용하는 경우 최소 5000배 이상 빨랐다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

스마트 폰을 이용한 학교 찾기 어플리케이션 구현 (Implementation of School Finding Application in the Smart Phone)

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트폰의 GPS기능과 안드로이드 시스템에 기본적으로 탑재되어 있는 Google map을 이용하여 내 주변 위치(학교)와 정보를 쉽게 검색할 수 있도록 한다. 내주변 목적지 위치를 검색할 때 최단 경로 알고리즘을 이용하여 검색할 수 있도록 한다. 이러한 어플리케이션 개발을 통해서 공공 장소 및 목적지를 쉽고 빠르게 찾아갈 수 있도록 하는 용도로 활용하고자 한다. 학교 시설은 입학 시험, 각종 자격 시험, 재난시 대피소 등으로 활용되는 경우가 많다. 스마트 폰을 능숙하게 사용하는 젊은 층이 아니라도 누구나 어려운 조작 없이 학교의 위치를 쉽게 찾아갈 수 있도록 도와주는 어플리케이션을 개발한다.
