To identify the effect of local air pollutants on the $PM_{2.5}$ level at Gosan, $PM_{2.5}$ composition data, continuous $O_3,\;NO_x,\;SO_2,\;CO$ data, VOCs data, surface wind characteristics, and backward trajectory analysis results were analyzed for the measurements in March 2000 during which high concentrations of mass and anthropogenic ionic species were reported. It was found that the combination of surface wind and continuous gaseous species data can help to identify local effect in Jeju Island. Even in a high $PM_{2.5}$ level case mainly affected by long range transport from China, it was Identified that local effects were also significant for both the duration and pollutants' levels.

A steel silo traditionally consists of a cylindrical and a conical shell. In order to facilitate emptying operations, the cylinder is placed on local supports. This may lead to dangerous stress concentrations and eventually to local instability of the cylindrical wall. In this contribution, the locally supported cylinder is strengthened by means of ring stiffeners and longitudinal stiffeners and the effect of their dimensions on the buckling stress is investigated. This study leads to a number of diagrams, each of them representing the effect of one of the dimensions on the buckling stress. In each diagram, the failure pattern corresponding to the buckling stress is indicated.

The multi-point dieless forming technology is one of flexible forming technologies that can form 3D curved surfaces of various shapes utilizing a lot of punch arrangements. A new technology that can simultaneously apply high-temperature forming and flexible forming technology by fusing local heating effect to such multi-point dieless forming technology was proposed in the present study. A simple local heating multi-point dieless forming apparatus was fabricated to confirm the applicability of this new technology. This equipment was designed to be used as a heat source by inserting heating cartridges in the head of the multi-point punch. Cartridges were used for all individual punches. Using the manufactured equipment, the time to raise the temperature to the target temperature and the surface temperature of the punch head part in contact with the plate were measured. In addition, forming experiments were carried out according to sheet material temperature (100 ℃, 200 ℃, and 300 ℃) to obtain forming results for each condition. The applicability and feasibility of this technology were confirmed through experimental results.

본 연구는 지자체에서 실시하는 'CPTED'와 지자체 안전교육이 '안전생활 만족도'에 미치는 관계를 살펴보며, 무질서의 매개효과를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2017년 수도권지역에 거주자를 모집단으로 하였으며, 임의표집법(Random Sample)을 통하여 300명을 표본으로 추출하였다. 최종분석에는 24부를 제외한 총 276부를 통계처리 하였고, 분석방법으로는 회귀분석과 구조방정식 모형을 통한 경로분석을 실시하였다. 매개효과의 유의미성을 살펴보기 위하여 부트스트랩핑(Bootstrapping)을 실시하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면, 'CPTED'는 '무질서'와 '안전생활 만족도'에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 났으나, '지자체 안전교육'은 '안전생활 만족도'에만 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. '지역무질서'는 '안전생활만족도'에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 경로분석을 실시한 결과, 동일한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 매개효과를 살펴보기 위하여 부트스트랩핑을 실시한 결과에서도 'CPTED'와 '안전생활 만족도'의 관계에서만 지역무질서가 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 종합해본 결과, 지역사회의 안전교육에 변화의 필요성을 시사하는 것이며, 지역사회의 CPTED 지역주민의 안전생활을 위한 안전망으로써 효과적인 수단이라는 선행연구를 지지하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 국민의 안전을 위한 대책을 마련하는 것은 국가의 가장 중요한 정책 중 하나이다. 지자체 또한 지역주민의 안전한 삶을 보장받을 수 있도록 해야 하나, 사회 안전망으로써의 효과가 선행적으로 입증되어야만 지역사회에 보급하고 운영할 수 있기에 본 연구에서는 지자체 안전망과 무질서 및 안전생활 만족도의 관계를 살펴보았다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Bridge dynamic behaviors are examined under seismic excitations including the local scour effect. The corresponding simplified mechanical model, which can also consider the effect of other influence elements, is proposed to simulate the bridge motions. The scour depth around the pier is estimated by the CSU equation recommended by the HEC-18, and the local scour effect upon global bridge motions is then investigated by applying various foundation stiffness based upon the reduced embedded depths. From the results, it is found that seismic responses of a bridge with the same scour depth level for both piers increase as the scour depth increase due to the local scour effect. The scour effect is found to be significant under weak excitations and still to be quite notable even for moderate excitations.

Through 'Local Theme Science Museum' aid program that is one of emphasis promotion strategic project by 2007 'Science.Technology.Cultural Project Plan', raises status of scientific technique by national core ability because all people expand base that understand and support scientific technique, and forms a social atmosphere which is scientific technique is important which scientific technique can be spread widely on national life and society whole, and proceeds target that expand local science museum facilities by a base of local science culture spreading and popularization. Accordingly, to plan balanced regional development and utilize to an advanced base of local science culture spreading because offer a science culture experience opportunity to local inhabitants, 'Local theme science museum' project is doing for that establish more 100 science museums for national.public.private institution in whole country until 2012 year. Support 39 projects to 2008 from 1999 thereby, in January, 2009, 13 'Local theme science museum' is opened and operated. This study examined arrangement preferentially about 'Science.Technology.Cultural Project Plan' that is background of 'Local theme science museum' project. Since surveying science museum which is on opening and operation at the present and analyzed actual conditions and facilities and investigated specification necessity and direction of 'Local theme science museum'. Hereafter, to seek plan for propriety of project by characteristic and difference of 'Local theme science museum' is purpose of this study. Now, need set and promotion of following specification direction for right activation of proceeding 'Local theme science museum' by each area. First, differentiation of theme and justifiability of building, Second, propriety of site position, Third, maximization of synergy effect by mixing concept of 'Specialized Economic Zone for Regional Developmental Policy' and Ecomuseum's 'Theme center'.

본 연구는 3가지 교각형상에 대하여 국부적 정지상세굴에 대한 수리실험결과를 분석한 것이다. 실험결과에 의하면 국부적 상대세굴심은 교각형사, 하상입경의 기하표준편차, 유속비, 교각 푸르드수와 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교각의 상대세굴심은 반원사각형교각에서 가장 작고 하상재료가 균일할 때 보다 불균일할 때 현저하게 작게 나타났다. 입도의 불균일성으로 인한 세굴감소효과는 Raudkivi와 Ettema의 연구결과와 비교 검토하였다.

One of the main objectives of this paper is to provide insight to understand the effect of natural disasters on local government finance. That is, to analyze local governments' sales tax revenues after Hurricane Ike. Three Texas cities are examined: League City, Pearland, and Sugarland. Based on data collected from the Texas Comptroller's Office and the US Census, we found local governments experience a short-term increase in sales tax revenues and a long-term decline after the hurricane strike the region. On average, a major hurricane has a two-year impact on local government economy. The findings are essential for practitioners because in order to have a prosperous recovery after natural disasters, public managers have to prepare financially for short term changes in their sales tax revenues.

This study aims to investigate the effect of personality traits (Big5) of local government officials on job exhaustion. First, we examine the correlation between personal characteristics of individual employees and self-efficacy and the correlation between factors of civil servants' personality characteristics and job stress. Also, it was confirmed whether self-efficacy had a significant effect on job exhaustion and whether job stress had a significant effect on job exhaustion. In order to empirically study this research model, we held a survey based on the employees of Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The main results of this study are as follows : First, it was confirmed that sincerity among personality characteristics affects positive self-efficacy and neuroticism affects negative self-efficacy. However, it was confirmed that extroversion, affinity, and openness were not correlated with self-efficacy. Second, neuroticism has a positive influence on job stress and openness has a negative effect on job stress. However, there was no correlation between extroversion, affinity, sincerity and job stress. Third, the relationship between self-efficacy and job exhaustion turned out to give a negative effect. Finally, job stress was positively influenced by job exhaustion. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the study on personality characteristics (Big5), job stress, and job exhaustion, which have been studied based on service industries, to local government officials. The purpose of this study is to suggest job training for enhancing personality traits that can help reduce the job burden of local government officials.

본 연구는 지역콘텐츠 제작지원 사업에 대한 지각된 서비스 품질이 정책 수혜자의 이용 만족에 미치는 영향과 사업 종료 후 재이용 의도 및 추천 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 SERVPERF 모형에 근거한 지역콘텐츠 제작지원 사업에 적합한 품질기준을 구성하였다. 첫째, 지역콘텐츠 제작지원 사업의 서비스 품질평가 기준으로 신뢰성, 대응성, 적정성을 확인하였다. 둘째, 품질평가 기준은 모두 이용 만족에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 재이용 의도에 대응성이, 추천 의도에 대응성과 신뢰성이 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 이용 만족은 재이용 의도와 추천 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 이에 본 연구는 실증 분석으로 지역콘텐츠 제작지원 사업의 품질평가에 대한 이론적 모형을 처음으로 제시하고, 해당 사업의 개선을 위한 정책적 방향성을 제시했다는 의의를 지닌다.
