  • In this paper, we propose the redirect streaming service model to enhance resurgent ability. The system consists of a redirect server, local streaming servers and clients. A redirect server searches the best streaming server. And streaming servers starts a requested service or resumes it when in a trouble. RTSP/RTP is one of the effective solutions to improve QOS in VOD, however a service can be broken off by an overloaded server or network especially in live. We designed and implemented not only a distributed streaming system that solves the broken-off service to enhance a resurgent system, but also DSSP, distributed streaming service protocol, which is adopted to implement this model. Those will improve the performance of streaming service using RTP/RTSP and be contributed to a real time streaming research to solve a service trouble.

  • The purpose of this study are changing wired medical instrument's terminal into wireless and implementing BSS of Wireless Local Area Network. the wireless terminal using frequency hopping spread spectrum in ISM band transfers patients medical information data such as ECG data, Patient Disease Indication Message to AP(or Server) and it also performs that as a response of transmission request in server. we made Clinet-Server network structure support only BSS service and patient's terminal controlled by polling in server. Wireless Terminal will guarantee mobility and give doctors real time monitoring capability in office.

  • As the usage of wireless LAN becomes common in working environment, the number of database systems that support both wired and wireless users increases rapidly. The characteristics of wireless LAN that its speed is slow relatively comparing to wired network and the users in its environment connects to different communication points as they moves creates another challenge to be resolved in database systems. In the environment of hybrid communication systems, wired and wireless for voluminous data amount and a number of users, the two layer architecture of the conventional client-server database systems has limitation in the system performance. This is due to that server is the only point of data service in client-server database systems. In this paper, we discuss a new extended database system architecture that data services are distributed among servers and clients based on user database access patterns in order to improve system performance. We analyze the expected system performance by using simulation technique and prove the practical utilization of the system by demonstrating experimental results.

  • Streaming Technology can support the real-time playback without downloading and storing multimedia data in local HDD. So, client browser or plug-in can represent multimedia data before the end of file transmission using streaming technology. Recently, the demand for efficient real-time playback and transmission of large amounts of multimedia data is growing rapidly. But most users' connections over network are not fast and stable enough to download large chunks of multimedia data. In this paper, we propose an intelligent IP streaming system based on personalized media service. The proposed IP streaming system enables users to get an intelligent recommendation of multimedia contents based on the user preference information stored on the streaming server or the home media server. The supposed intelligent IP streaming system consists of Server Metadata Agent, Pumping Server, Contents Storage Server, Client Metadata Agent and Streaming Player. And in order to implement the personalized media service, the user information, user preference information and client device information are managed under database concept. Moreover, users are assured of seamless access of streamed content event if they switch to another client device by implementing streaming system based on user identification and device information. We evaluate our approach with manufacturing home server system and simulation results.

  • Server-side anti-viruses are useful to protect their domains, because they can detect malicious codes at the gateway of their domains. In prevailing local network, all clients cannot be perfectly controlled by domain administrators, so server-side inspection, for example in e-mail server, is used as an efficient technique of detecting mobile malicious codes. However, current server-side anti-virus systems perform only signature-based detection for known malicious codes, simple filtering, and file name modification. One of the main reasons that they don't have detection features, for unknown malicious codes, is that activity monitoring technique is unavailable for server machines. In this paper, we propose a detection technique that is executed at the server, but it can monitor activities at the clients without any anti-virus features. we describe its implementation.

  • In a distributed network system, Kerberos certification mechanism is operated by a user in local area on the premise reliability of Kerberos server in another area. But it has a demerit. If security information of certification server between Kerberos servers is released, Kerberos server can not guarantee the reliability. To solve this problem, the proposed mechanism prevents password speculating attack by increasing the random of password certifier through use of distributed password in stead of certification center and certification which was presented by existing Kerberos mechanism.   • In this paper, we had tried to study advertising method of local industry in cooperation with SNS (Social Network Service). In particular, This paper analyzes the Facebook Page trying to find a way to take advantage of the local advertising. To analyse the Facebook page, I had created three Facebook pages such as at Hongik UNIV., Gangwon National UNIV., and specialities in Cuncheon cities. While I was managing the three pages, I had analyzed the results of quantities of activities, and in addition, had used NodeXL for the analysis of the network for the each page. After the analysis of the data of each page, I had found the possibility of the promotion for the successful the local advertizement associated with SNS. To verify and develop the results of my study, I had designed the " real time local advertising APP which is connected with SNS like Facebook, had created server program based on PHP, Android APP. In the future, I have found that there must be a lot of possibilities for the successful and various the local advertising methodologies by using SNS like Facebook, the operational data of the App.

  • This paper proposes an easy method to develope user interfaces for the GIS using local server automation In the developing stage of user interface the most important thing is to apply effective windows programming techniques and component software supporting techniques. This study shows an user interface developing method using the local server automation and Visual Basic programming. For a case study, the study constructs its user interface which performs map overlaying, referencing attribute tablet, graph analysis, drawing up of thematic amp.

  • This paper presents monitoring system for 750kW-class DFIG wind turbine generator system and an architecture for applying standardized communication, IEC61400-25. Monitoring and control system is consists of wind turbine PLC, Local and Remote I/O Server, HMI. and Web-server. Proposed System has been demonstrated in Daegi-ri, Kangwon-do, which aims to test local and/or remote monitoring and control system and evaluate the performance of 750kW-class WTS. Finally we described the design of logical nodes and services based on IEC61400-25 and its application scheme.
