전력자동화서비스를 위한 광네트워크 설계 및 모뎀개발 (The Development of the Optical Network for the Automation Systems in Electric Power Companies)

  • There are many applicable services such as remote metering, load control, distribution line automation, Pole transformer Monitoring having their own networks in the electric power company. The application of the optical network technology as the back-born network to the Automation Systems in KEPCO is potentially beneficial in reliability, speed, and expandability. The 1-core and 2-core optical modems were developed and used by the Distribution Automation System. But, They had some disadvantages and advantages. So, We designed the new optical modems applied each advantages. This paper presents some of design efforts and test results for the multi-channel optical modem at KRPRI.

신재생발전기의 데이터 취득방안에 대한 고찰 (Review on Data Acquisition of Renewable Power Generators)

  • In accordance with the Government's policy, renewable power generation is expanding very largely. This leads to increasing uncertainty in the power market and power system owing to the intermittent and fluctuating output characteristics of renewable power generators. Data on the acquisition of renewable power generators can be largely classified according to the operation of the power market and power system. Data on the settlement for the payment for the power amount are acquired in the power market, and real-time data for monitoring the status and output of the generators are acquired in the power system. However, renewable power generators operating in the power market have different acquisition cycles depending on the method of communication of the power meter. They acquire data only for settlement purposes and have no real-time data, which requires improvement. In this paper, the acquisition status is reviewed by classifying the data of renewable power generators into settlement and real-time data. In addition, measures and acquisition criteria for real-time data of renewable power generators for improving the acquisition method are proposed.

  • 비간섭 부하 모니터링은 사용자 에너지 소비량의 실시간 모니터링을 통해 가전기기의 사용량 예측 및 분류를 하는 기술로, 최근 에너지 절약의 수단으로 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 GAF(Gramian angular field) 기반 1차원 시계열 데이터를 2차원 행렬로 변환하는 기법과, 합성곱 신경망(convolutional neural networks)을 결합해 사용자 전력 사용량 데이터로부터 가전기기를 예측하는 시스템을 제안한다. 학습을 위해 공개 가정용 전력 데이터인 REDD(residential energy disaggregation dataset)를 사용하고, GASF(Gramian angular summation field), GADF(Gramian angular difference field)의 분류 정확도를 확인한다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 이중 상태(on/off)를 가지는 가전기기에서 두 모델 모두 97%의 정확도를 보였고, 다중 상태를 가지는 기기에서 GASF는 95%로 GADF보다 3% 높은 정확도를 보임을 확인하였다. 차후 데이터의 량을 증가시키고 모델을 최적화해 정확도와 속도를 개선할 예정이다.

  • This paper presents the new unified power flow controller(UPFC) steady-state model. This is derived from UPFC bus power equations of UPFC Synchronous voltage source model. This is very simple and exact model. This can easily be incorporated in a load flow Program, which is suited for monitoring the Power system state as well as determining the magnitude and phase angle of UPFC serial voltage source.

디지털 계전기를 이용한 전력감시 및 분산제어 (Power Monitoring and Distributed Control by Digital Relay)

  • In this paper, intelligent methods using digital protection relay in power SCADA system is developed in order to protect power systems by means of timely fault detection during operation and control at starting for induction motor which have various load environments and capacities in power systems. The digital protective relay was designed with DSP CPU(TMS320C31) to protect and measure more quickly and precisely. The test result on the basis of KEMC 1120 and IEC60255, show that the operation time error of the digital motor protection relay is improved within ${\pm}5%$. Also, we can control motors at starting according to starting types with simple method as programmable sequence editor. So we can improve the demerits of high cost and much manhour for rework.

플라즈마 식각 공정에서 의사결정 알고리즘을 이용한 실시간 식각 종료점 검출 (Real Time Endpoint Detection in Plasma Etching Using Decision Making Algorithm)

  • 플라즈마 식각 공정에서 식각 종료점 검출은 중요한 요소이다. Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) 는 플라즈마 반응을 분석하는데 사용한다. 그리고 Plasma Impedance Monitoring (PIM) 은 플라즈마 공정 중에 RF power에 의한 voltage, current, power, impedance를 분석하는데 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 새로 제안하는 의사결정 알고리즘을 이용하여 single layer 산화막 플라즈마 식각에서 식각 종료점 검출의 성능을 향상시키는 것을 제안한다. 식각 종료점 검출의 정확도를 높이기 위해 OES 데이터와 PIM 데이터들을 의사결정 알고리즘에 모두 적용하여 사용한다. 제안된 방법은 SiOx 플라즈마 식각에서 식각 종료점을 정확하게 검출한다.

하이브리드 지중열교환기 적용 지열 히트펌프 시스템의 난방 성능 분석 (Heating Performance Analysis of Ground-Source Heat Pump (GSHP) System using Hybrid Ground Heat Exchanger (HGHE))

  • This paper presents the heating performance analysis results of a ground-source heat pump (GSHP) system using hybrid ground heat exchanger (HGHE). In this paper, the HGHE refers to the ground heat exchanger (GHE) using both a surface water heat exchanger (SWHE) and a vertical GHE. In order to evaluate the system performance, we installed monitoring sensors for measuring temperatures and power consumption, and then measured operation data with 4 different load burdened ratios of the HGHE. During the entire measurement period, the average heating capacity of the heat pump was 37.3 kW. In addition, the compressor of the heat pump consumed 9.4 kW of power, while the circulating pump of the HGHE used 6.7 kW of power. Therefore, the average heating coefficient of performance (COP) for the heat pump unit was 4.0, while the system including the circulating pump was 2.7. Finally, the parallel use of SWHE and VGHE was beneficial to the system performance; however, further researches are needed to optimize the design data for various load ratios of the HGHE.

소형 밀리미터파(Ka 밴드) 레이다용 전원공급기 개발 (Developed power supply for small Millimeterwave(Ka band) radar)

  • 소형 밀리미터파 추적 레이다용 전원공급기는 리플노이즈가 최소인 안정적인 전원을 공급해야 하며 DC-DC 변환기의 스위칭 주파수 노이즈가 False Alarm 과 Ghost 를 유발하지 않고 운영중 모니터링을 통한 실시간 자체점검 기능을 보유하고 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 소형 밀리미터파 추적 레이다에 적용하기 위하여 +28VDC 입력을 받아서 최대 출력 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}W$, 효율 80% 이상(@100%부하), 출력 전원 10개의 다중 출력 스위칭 전원공급기를 개발하였고 효율 80% 이상을 달성하기 위하여 전력이 큰 출력에 대해서는 DC-DC 변환기를 적용하였고 나머지 소전력 출력에 대해서는 다중 출력 플라이백 방식을 적용하여 설계 제작하여 시험 결과 100% 부하조건에서 85%의 우수한 효율 특성을 확인하였다.

  • DC distribution system has been evaluated as an excellent one in comparison with existing AC distribution network because it needs fewer power conversion stages and the full capacity of the equipment can be used without consideration for power factor. Recently, research and development on the implementation of DC distribution networks have been progressed globally based on the rapid advancement in power-electronics technology, and the technological developments from the viewpoint of infrastructure are also in progress. However, to configure a distribution network which is a distribution line for DC, more accurate and rapid introduction of analysis technology is needed for the monitoring, control and operation of the system, which ensure the system run flexible and efficiently. However, in case of a bipolar DC distribution network, there are two buses acting as slack buses, so the Jacobian matrix cannot be configured. Without solving this problem, DC distribution network cannot be operated when the network is unbalanced. Therefore, this paper presented a comprehensive method of analysis with consideration of operating elements which are directly connected between neutral electric potential caused by the unbalanced of load in DC distribution network with bipolar structure.

  • This paper describes the characteristics of two methods about providing information needed for propulsion device control in train. The one is to use new way using the communication network for transmission of control information, the other is traditional way using hardwire connection. And this paper describes the communication interface technique between TCMS(Train Control and Monitoring System) and VVVF inverter system with LonWorks network adapted to SMG line 6 which has been developed. With this technique, an inertia load test carried out for the traction control environment and it is expecting a field test at SMG line 6.
