This paper proposes a design of optimal PI(D) controller for brushless DC (BLDC) motor speed control by the particle swarm optimization (PSO), one of the powerful metaheuristic optimization search techniques. The proposed control system is implemented on the TMS320F28335 DSP board interfacing to MATLAB/SIMULINK. With Back EMF detection, the proposed system is considered as a class of sensorless control. This scheme leads to the speed adjustment of the BLDC motor by PWM. In this work, the BLDC motor of 100 watt is conducted to investigate the control performance. As results, it was found that the speed response of BLDC motor can be regulated at the operating speed of 800 and 1200 rpm in both no load and full load conditions. Very satisfactory responses of the BLDC system can be successfully achieved by the proposed control structure and PSO-based design approach.
Digital load is increasing suddenly for various reasons, such as easy control and management. Accordingly, a consumption pattern of load is becoming DC. However, the power supply is supplied by AC power. The load power supply substantially needs DC power. AC power has to be converted to DC power. Renewable energy sources like solar, wind, fuel cells are DC power generation, but the transfer needs to through by AC power, thus DC power has to be converted to AC power. Resultantly, a multi-stage conversion loss is constantly increasing. The power distribution system of DC-based is required for effective use of these energy sources. This requires a DC load, as well as is necessary to develop DC ELCB which are able to detect DC leakage current for implementing protection. In this study, it realize detection algorithm about DC leakage current to verify the performance of the sensor and apply it to the ELCB which is based on DC. Therefore, it is expected to protect operating of DC power distribution system.

Force is a crucial element to be measured in various industries, especially the machine tool industry. Mega units of force are required in fields such as the heavy and ship industries. Micro/nano units of force are required for microparticles. The detection of force generates a physical transformation due to the force imposed from the outside, atlrnd electrical voltage signals are obtained from the system. For the detection of force, an octagonal ring load cell based on circular ring theory is designed and produced. To design the octagonal strain ring, theoretical values with data from the ANSYS program are compared to determine the size of the octagonal strain ring. An octagonal strain ring of the chosen size is made with the SCM415 material. The strain gauges are attached to the octagonal strain ring, designed to construct a full Wheatstone bridge. The LabVIEW program is used to measure the data, and strain values are found. With the octagonal ring load cell completed in this way, experiments are conducted by imposing forces on the tangential axis and radial axis. Experiments are performed to verify if the octagonal ring load cell conducts measurements properly, and theoretical values are analyzed to find any differences. The data will later be used in further research to develop a machine-tool dynamometer.
This paper proposes HWbF(Hit and WLC based Firewall) design which consists of an PFS(Packet Filter Station) and APS(Application Proxy Station). PFS is designed to reduce bottleneck and to prevent the transmission delay of them by distributing packets with PLB(Packet Load Balancing) module, and APS is designed to manage a proxy cash server by using PCSLB(Proxy Cash Server Load Balancing) module and to detect a DoS attack with packet traffic quantity. Therefore, the proposed HWbF in this paper prevents packet transmission delay that was a drawback in an existing Firewall, diminishes bottleneck, and then increases the processing speed of the packet. Also, as HWbF reduce the 50% and 25% of the respective DoS attack error detection rate(TCP) about average value and the fixed critical value to 38% and 17%. with the proposed expression by manipulating the critical value according to the packet traffic quantity, it not only improve the detection of DoS attack traffic but also diminishes the overload of a proxy cash server.
The purpose of this study was to quantitatively evaluate the state of rocks in load steps by using the low-frequency ultrasonic flaw detection method. The initial Vp-velocities measured with a CND tester were in the order of Z-axis < X-axis < Y-axis, with 1687.5 m/s along the X-axis, 1690.7 m/s along the Y-axis, 1548.3 m/s along the Z-axis, and an average of 1642.2 m/s. The overall average of the Q vlaues, measured with a Silver Schmidt hammer, was 62.6, which corresponds to a uniaxial compressive strength of ~105 MPa. The Vp-velocity, measured with a low-frequency ultrasonic flaw detector at load steps of 50%, 60%, 70%, and 80%, typically decreases in the order of X-axis < Y-axis < Z-axis with increasing load steps. This oder contrasts with that of the initial Vp-velocities. As the load step increases the factors that reduce the Vp-velocity in the X-axis direction are more influential than those in the Y-axis or Z-axis directions. This indicates that the initial state of rocks can vary and is dependent on the stress state.

Incorrectly loaded containers can easily knock down by strong winds. Container collapse accidents can lead to material damage and paralysis of the port system. In this paper, We propose a deep learning-based container loading state and accident risk detection technique. Using Darknet-based YOLO, the container load status identifies in real-time through corner casting on the top and bottom of the container, and the risk of accidents notifies the manager. We present criteria for classifying container alignment states and select efficient learning algorithms based on inference speed, classification accuracy, detection accuracy, and FPS in real embedded devices in the same environment. The study found that YOLOv4 had a weaker inference speed and performance of FPS than YOLOv3, but showed strong performance in classification accuracy and detection accuracy.
This paper proposes a minimal contour tracking algorithm that reduces transmission of data for tracking mobile objects in surveillance networks in terms of detection and communication load. This algorithm perform detection for object tracking and when it transmit image data to server from camera, it minimized communication load by reducing quantity of transmission data. This algorithm use minimal tracking area based on the kinematics of the object. The modeling of object's kinematics allows for pruning out part of the tracking area that cannot be mechanically visited by the mobile object within scheduled time. In applications to detect an object in real time, when transmitting a large amount of image data it is possible to reduce the transmission load.

Unbalanced source voltage in the 3-phase power system is decomposed into positive, negative and zero sequence c components. Also, assuming there is no neutral path in the system, the zero sequence component is not shown on the l load side. Therefore, in the unbalanced power system without neutral path. it is possible to provide balanced voltage to t the load side by compensating negative sequence component and also to regulate the voltage amplitude by controlling t the positive sequence component. In addition, the symmetrical components due to voltage unbalance can be effectively d detected on the synchronous reference frame by using dlongleftarrowq transformation. In this paper, an algorithm not only c compensating unbalanced source voltage by canceling the negative sequence component on the synchronous reference f frame but also maintaining load voltages constantly is proposed. Also a novel method for phase angle detection s synchronized by positive sequence component under unbalanced source voltage is suggested and this detected phase a angle is used for d-q transformation. The performances and characteristics of the proposed compensating system are a analyzed by simulation and verified through experimental results.
The underlying ground state of a railway plays a significant role in maintaining the integrity of the overlying concrete slab and ultimately supporting the train load. While effective nondestructive tests have been used to evaluate the rail track system, they can only be performed during non-operating time due to the stress wave generated by active sources. In this study, finite element numerical simulations are conducted to investigate the feasibility of detecting unfavorable substructure conditions by using a moving train load. First, a train load module is developed by converting the train load into time-variant equivalent forces. The moving forces based on the shape functions are applied at the nodes. A parametric study that takes into account the bonding state and the train class is then performed. All the synthetic signals obtained from numerical simulations are analyzed at the frequency domain using a Fast Fourier transform (FFT) and at the time-frequency domain using a Short-Time Fourier transform (STFT). The presence of a void condition amplifies the acceleration amplitude and the vibration response. This study confirms the feasibility of using a moving train load to systematically evaluate a rail track system.
The current harmonic detector consists of the load current detector and the notch filter. It obtains the harmonic current from the output of the load current detector using the Notch filter. The GIC in the notch filter is used instead of inductor to minimize the magnitude and phase characteristics variation caused by using twin-T notch filter and passive elements(inductor).
