In this study, vibration characteristics of concrete slab were investigated through FEM analysis. Four different floor plans with the floor area of $100{\sim}130m^2$ were chosen to be analyzed. Boundary conditions of two dimensional finite element models were determined based on the modal test results. Results showed that mode shapes were formed somewhat different according to the floor plan and the contribution of 1st mode on the floor vibration is generally the highest. Through the transient analysis, it was also found that floor plan, expecially connection of the living room with the kitchen, affected the vibration acceleration levels.

One of the prominent phenomena since 1960's is the diversity of concepts. It is to deny the standard of meta structure in judging value as a framework of truth understanding. M. Foucault says that we are living in a synchronous, parallel, and scattered epoch. In the architectural approach and interpretation of Ungers, such a phenomenon appears as multi-dimensional relations. The works of Ungers show the concrete manifestation of such thoughts since 1960's. He has exerted significant influence on German architecture through his book ‘Architecture as Theme’ and architectural works. His architecture has focuses on analogy and abstraction on the foundation of his well defined theory. As the features, it shows dialectic relations, mix of confrontation, interests in geometry and morphology. In this respects, the paper tries to find out the relationship between his architectural thoughts and the paintings of Rene Magritte in terms of the attributes of doubleness in the sense of a paradox. Ungers himself refers that he was directly influenced by Magritte.

Today, the space itself of rivers have become the specimen of environmental pollution due to the change of living pattern following the development and urbanization during the past some 30 years, and the stream ecosystem has been destroyed due to be changed to straight, dike or concrete stream, and the habitat of animals and plants have been damaged. The purpose of this study is to analyze of character and problem of environmental friendly improvement method which is promoted in Korea since 1990, and to present plan to restore the destroyed ecosystem of the stream continuously and the basic data which will be used in environmental friendly method.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the reflection degree of residents' opinions and their participation, on the premise that the reconstruction of apartments is a process of the concrete realization of residents' dwelling needs and of the recreation of living spaces. Here are some of results of this research; Although apartment residents who have experienced the process of reconstruction have a great desire to participate and a wide range of participation, the proper procedure of participation is not prepared and the contents of reconstruction is not fully understood. And the residents have the different opinions on 'height and mass of apartment' and 'amount of compensation and payment'. Meanwhile, the residents believe that all of them should take part in the participation process and some government interventions are needed. Accordingly, various ways for resident participation in the process of reconstruction are to be provided and new techniques for encouraging public participation are to be sought.

The psychiatry features of narcissism are molded by the outcome of a mismatch or lack of tension between the realistic self and the ideal self, and it is related to the problems of alienation. That is, the problems of alienation lead to the outcome of a mismatch between the realistic self and the ideal self by the unindividuality which lose a senses of the reality in all every things, and it make man to even more to give up the realistic self and to be alive powerlessness living. In this views, this study examined the relationship between narcissism and alienations or subfactors, and the concrete subscale of the Narcissistic Personality Scale which had a influence on the alienations to experientially investigate the relation between narcissism and alienations. Juveniles were administered both the Narcissistic Personality Scale and the Alienations Scale. The results showed a positive relationship between narcissism and alienations, and the alienations was influenced of the self-centeredness and the exploitation/Privilege subscale of the Narcissistic Personality Scale. Therefore, narcissists feel alienations too much, and the more a person has self-centeredness and exploitation/Privilege of narcissistic traits, the higher alienations is.

Noise and vibration induced by subway operation is one of the major problem for the residents living nearby railway tracks. Many scientists and engineers have been working on proposing the more accurate prediction equation of noise and vibration to provide the better residential environment. Some predictiction equations were determined to compare the measurement value of a noise obtained from the inside of a residential area. It was observed that the condition of a soil type is one of the major parameter which should be considered to obtain the more accurate prediction value of a noise.

Nowadays, subway station has provided not only transportation but living spaces for everyday activities. Therefore, a variety of facilities have been installed for a safety of citizens such as fire-fighting equipment, platform screen doors and giving high level of benefits such as air-conditioning and heating equipment, escalators, lighting apparatus. In order to operate these facilities appropriately, it is needless to say that electric power supply must be reliable. Many protection relays have been installed to protect electric apparatus and power system, nevertheless it..s study has been insufficient in the concrete. From this paper, through analyzing of protection relay system of electric room operated in line 2 of Seoul metro, we can help to improve stable power supply system of subway station.

The main purpose of this study is to contribute to the plan of apartments suitable for desired of residents in apartment in the future, by examning both their satisfaction with the present LDM\K(Living, Dining rooms and Kitchen) space and preference for LDK in the future with homemarkers residing in apartments. The concrete purpose of this study is (1) to examine the condition of apartments actually used by these residents, (2) to analyes their satisfaction with the function of LDK space and factors effect on their satisfaction to areas, (3) to examine the pattern of LDK space desird by the residents in apartment and factors having an effect on the pattern by areas.

This paper focuses on the concept of :"politicization of household labor" to the resolution of houework-related problems which are the products of household work and the women's status. the major discussions of this framework can be summarized as follows: First the policy problems of household labor is that the segregation of market labor and household labor public and private sphere and sex-role affects value of household labor and status of women. Second policy proposals on household labor is related to specific existing policy(family policy women's policy). Third Policy purposes are family welfare and women welfare a symmetry of family and work. Thus policy needs takes concrete shape and policy indicator of evaluing and and policy indicator of supporting. Ultimately it is direct to evaluate the quality of family living.

A typical low and medium-sized neighborhood living facility in reinforced concrete building secures a high floor and pursues an efficient module plan(long span). Accordingly, research on the development of new hybrid beams that can innovatively reduce labor costs such as on-site installation and assembly while securing strength and rigidity is ongoing. In order to verify the structural performance of the U-flanged truss composite beam with newly developed shape, Experiments with various variables are required. Based on the results, this study is to evaluate the strength of U-flanged truss hybrid beam through the flexural strength of the Korea Design Code and experimental values. It was evaluated that nominal flexural strength was 110% to 135% higher than the experimental value.
