The purpose of this study is to recognize the living space and life pattern transition which is expressed in the modernization course with the analysis of the Jeju rural houses. For this study, I choose 72 residences examples in 8 villages as the subjects which are changed by the spontaneous purpose of the inhabitants who live in Jeju area were chosen as the subjects. As for the research method, after visiting the subject residence directly, and the field study such as the actual estimation, observation and interview were performed. The conclusion of the study with these purpose are as follows. First, The opened spatial composition of the sitting-inclination is composed of the form which has the individual opened room and living room with the mechanism to grant the flexibility to the limited space and the structure for enduring the much-humid oceanic climate. Second, The life pattern shows the sitting life which usually uses the an-bang and living room with the seasonal change.
This study has a subject for the detached houses and mass housing ( alias dictus, Apartment) on the Dae Gu urban area, and has a process of surveying and analyzing the actual using states of dweller in the residential space and has an object of finding the behavioral pattern of the spatial using corresponded to the living activities. As its result, a cultural searching for urban housing is disciplined with the positive study for surveying the living contents emerged form the residential spaces. Limited into sleeping, eating, hosting, familiarity and family ritual, where and how the living activities is appeared according as the housing types and floor types, and what different and common features of its spatial using is possessed, is focused on this study. As Conclusion, it is found that each living activities are differed in the spatial using behavior according to the housing and floor types, but genetically are inherited by the traditional custom. Thus two behavial directions of dweller in public residential architecture have to be reconsidered in the urban housing culture.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of 'individual' found in architecture of British Archigram Group. Although many critics and historians have judged Archigram as a simple technocrat, the concept of individual employed by Archigram since their Living City Exhibition undermine their representational works. Archigram's concept of individual was basically influenced by the European historical context since the Renaissance and at the same time by the philosophy of existentialism. Since Archigram proposed their individualistic trend In the Living City Exhibition, they have created many individualistic architecture such as Living Pod, Cushicle, Suitaloon, etc. Through these experimental projects, Archlgram's concept of individual did not intend to get rid of the society itself, but to form a society based on the individual autonomy and on the interaction between individuals. In the city of Archigram, there was ultimately the new symbiosis between individual units and this symbiosis completed new world.
The purpose of this study was to suggest basic data for prevention of child abuse by examining the patterns and characteristics of child abuse observed at child-care centers. Data was collected by pre-service early childhood teachers majoring in child studies in an education practice session from May 1 to May 31, 2015 based on examined information and class discussion. This study shows that emotional abuse was performed most often, followed by neglect and physical abuse. Physical abuse was observed as a form of punishment and beating, whereas emotional abuse was observed in the form of force, sarcastic remarks, verbal attacks, and disregard. Neglect was observed as exclusion and indifference. Most crucial prevention against child abuse lies in teachers' personality education and concerns with their own mental health as well as children's rights education.
자가보고 통증평가 도구인 NRS(numeric rating scale)와 행동관찰 통증평가 도구인 DS-DAT(discomfort scale-dementia of the Alzheimer's type)를 사용하여 통증을 측정하였고, GDSSF-K(Geriatric Depression Scale Short Form-Korea Version), BADL(Barthel activities of daily living)로 우울과 일상생활활동 수준을 측정하였다.
Living anionic and cationic polymerizations have been combined to prepare various types of comb-like copolymers composed of polystyrene (PS) and polyisoprene (PI) blocks, with a precisely controlled architecture. According to the relative placement of these elementary building blocks, combs with randomly distributed PS and PI or with poly(styrene-b-isoprene) diblock branches (I & II, respectively) can be prepared. The reaction procedure initially includes the synthesis of a poly(chloroethylvinyl ether) using living cationic polymerization, which is used as the reactive backbone to successively graft $PS^-Li^+$ and $PI^-Li^+$ or $PI-b-PS^-Li^+$ to obtain structures (I) or (II). The synthesis of Janus-type PS-comb-b-PI-combs (III) initially involves the synthesis of a diblock backbone using living cationic polymerization, which bears two distinct reactive functions having either a protected or activated form. Living $PS^-Li^+$ and $PI^-Li^+$ are then grafted, in two separate steps, onto each of the reactive functions of the backbone, respectively.
The purpose of this study is to explore the changes in space structure in urban residential areas, based on the historical and cultural background of Gyeongju area. In order to clarify its residential and cultural properties, the residential patterns and living characteristics identifying its historical context were analysed. This study was carried out with the data of the Hwango-dong area that has maintained its original form since the creation as a urban residential area during the 1960s and 1970s, the data of the Dongbang village area that was developed as one of residential area projects during the 1970s, and the data of the Seonggeon-dong area that was developed as a residential area during the 1970s and 1980s. The analyses on previous studies and statistical data, referring to building administration registers, field survey and photographing of house types, and exploration of living characteristics by house types were used to perform this study. Four hundred and five sample houses were used in this study, having forty one sample houses which were used for living survey and actual plane measurement. The result of this study can be used as basic information for designing the house to meet Gyeongju citizens' desire for living environments, and to maintain the cultural and historical contexts.
Purpose: Post Stroke Depression (PSD) is one of the most common complications for stroke survivors and is associated with negative health outcomes such as disability, death. The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence and predictors of PSD among older Korean adults living in the community. Methods: Data collection was done using the 2014 Survey of Living Conditions and Welfare Needs of Korean Older Adults. Participants were 706 older adults who had a stroke. Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the predictors of PSD. Results: The prevalence of PSD which was assessed by the short form of the geriatric depression scale was 49.4%. In a logistic regression model, the predictors of PSD were self-rated health (OR=5.90, CI=3.70~9.40), economic state (OR=2.97, CI=2.07~4.24), independent activities of daily living (IADL) (OR=2.17, CI=1.30~3.63), Activities of Daily Living (ADL) (OR=2.02, CI=1.07~3.80), and education (OR=1.53, CI=1.05~2.24). Conclusion: PSD was common among older Korean adults living in the community. Poor self-rated health status, lower economic state, lower levels of Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) and ADL, lower levels of education should be considered when conducting activities related to prevention and management of PSD in older adults.
The aim of this study is to find out the pattern of Ger form, inner spatial composition of Mongolian Ger house, and to take a dig at the structural or symbolic elements of nomadic architecture of Ger. To the point of view of corresponding to living and space of housing, remarkable characteristics of Ger Architecture is able to pull down and recombine the structures of nomadic house. Even though urbanization of Mongolia has spreading rapidly in a whole nation, most of people preserves traditional housing pattern within Ger. The ways of survey are to study of traditional home of Mongolia, and then field work at residence or mountain area in Ulan Bator and Gorkhi Terelj National Park area. This survey contains the form, size, structure, spatial composition of living space, structure, and materials. There are three results as follows: First, the form of Ger house is like a pyramidal or crown roof style to approximate to the round shape of it. Usually they had lived in nomadic way of life, so the Ger had a movable and flexible structure. Second, the Ger is easy to build up and deconstruct to move or find a new pasture. Third, the Mongolian Ger structure is composed by mainly five elements that are Khana, Khaalga, Toono, Bagana, and Uni. It has a hierarchy of internal spaces which are classified to gender, orientation, and property.
