실시간 OTT 서비스 데이터 분석: 유투브 게임방송 사례 (A Study of Analyzing Live Streaming OTT Service Data: Focused on Youtube Game Broadcasting)

  • e스포츠의 발달로 게임을 매개로 한 여러 분야의 산업들이 함께 성장하였다. 게임방송은 다양한 플랫폼을 통해 시청자들에게 도달하면서 대중적인 게임문화 확산에 기여하고 있으며, 게임이 점차 스포츠로 인식되기 시작하면서 게임방송을 실시간으로 시청하고자 하는 수요가 늘어나고 있다. 이러한 수요와 함께 최근 OTT(Over-The-Top) 서비스를 기반으로 한 글로벌 게임중계 방송채널은 빠르게 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 YouTube의 Open API 분석을 통한 글로벌 게임방송 스트리밍 현황 파악 및 시청행태를 분석하고 국내 게임방송산업의 발전을 위해 실무적인 제안을 하고자 한다. 본 연구는 방송 공급자와 시청자 모두 온라인 상태에서 실시간으로 방송을 스트리밍 하는 상태인 세션을 중심으로 방송시간 및 실시간 시청자를 카테고리, 날짜, 요일, 시간대별로 나누어 분석하였다.

전력선 통신 기반 HD급 미디어 전송 시스템 설계 및 성능 분석 (System Design of High-Definition Media Transceiver based on Power Line Communication and Its Performance Analysis)

  • Due to a development of a modem technology as Power Line Communication(PLC) over 200 Mbps, the high-speed multi-media data trasmission could be currently possible. The strength of the PLC has no more additional wiring work. PLC has also possible to high quality data transmission with currently electrical cable. It has a various strong point campare with existing wire and wireless communication technologies. In This paper we develop a high quality media transmitter-receiver based on merging the HomePlug AV, which is 200 Mbps class PLC technology and HDMI Interface technology. The video function was used for the VEDEO TEST GENERATOR in order to a property valuation. Smart Live 6 software were used for the assessment of audio property. As the result of measurement of the HD class images by capturing from the receiver of the PLC, the quality of images couldn't be confirm any deterioration, which has compared with original reflections. In case of audio part as the result of confirmation of the Phase, Magnitude, it has been confirmed that over 90% of nomal transmition and receiving of acoustic signal. It can be possible to have HD class Media service through the PLC.

가사활동에 따른 피로도 감소를 위한 입좌식(立座式) 부엌가구의 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study for the Development of Sit/Stand Kitchen Furniture to Reduce Fatigue in Housekeeping Activities)

  • A study was conducted to develop user-centered kitchen furniture and workspace to reduce fatigue and to prevent housewives's disorders such as low back pain and musculoskeletal disorders from housekeeping activities. A questionnaire survey and interview were performed on 150 households those live in 32Pyung-type($105m^2$) apartment in Seoul vicinity. Also actual housekeeping activities for 24 hours were video-taped for further motion analysis. Results of the study revealed that housewives complained the inconvenience and small size of storage space, and worksurface height as the most important problems to be considered for redesign. And they responded, if feasible, sitting is preferred over standing while they are working. After adapting a sit/stand chair in the kitchen, a physiological experiment measuring heart rate(HR) and oxygen consumption($VO_2$) as response variables was conducted to examine the effects of sit/stand chair in reducing physiological demand during housekeeping activities. The results showed that working on sit/stand chair reduced energy expenditures by maximum of 30% and 31.0% in terms of HR and $VO_2$, respectively. Also rearrangement of kitchen structure based on motion analysis showed that walking distance during daily housekeeping activities can be reduced by 5.5% on the average. Hence, it is concluded that adapting a sit/stand chair in the kitchen could reduce fatigue and occupational disorders of housewives from extended housekeeping activities.

현대 디지털 패션쇼에 나타난 하이브리드 디지털 문화적 특성 (Cultural Features in Modern Digital Fashion Shows Focusing on Hybrid Digital Culture)

  • Purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of the hybrid digital culture and to find out the features of digital fashion shows appearing in the period of the hybrid digital culture as there have been almost no studies on the hybrid cultural values in the fashion shows and on the diachronic socio-cultural viewpoint of fashion show. The characteristics of hybrid digital culture were identified through the analysis of cases, and they were organized into three for this study; 'non-economic creativity', 'interactive communication' and 'transcendence'. Based on these characteristics, the features of hybrid digital cultures in the modern digital fashion shows were classified into the digitalization of presentation form and the acceptance by audience of digitalization using case studies. The features of digital fashion shows which appear through the presentation form in the digital fashion shows are as follows; 'Expansion of presentation media of runway' and 'Destruction of component factors of runway'. The features of digital fashion show in the perspective of audience's acceptance of digitalization are as follows; 'Audience's field experience through the live video', 'Participation by audience in interactive manner' and, 'Immersion in the virtual reality by the audiences'.

Recent advances in intravital microscopy for investigation of dynamic cellular behavior in vivo

  • Currently, most biological research relies on conventional experimental techniques that allow only static analyses at certain time points in vitro or ex vivo. However, if one could visualize cellular dynamics in living organisms, that would provide a unique opportunity to study key biological phenomena in vivo. Intravital microscopy (IVM) encompasses diverse optical systems for direct viewing of objects, including biological structures and individual cells in live animals. With the current development of devices and techniques, IVM addresses important questions in various fields of biological and biomedical sciences. In this mini-review, we provide a general introduction to IVM and examples of recent applications in the field of immunology, oncology, and vascular biology. We also introduce an advanced type of IVM, dubbed real-time IVM, equipped with video-rate resonant scanning. Since the realt-ime IVM can render cellular dynamics with high temporal resolution in vivo, it allows visualization and analysis of rapid biological processes.

지면이륙하는 나비의 날개짓 분석 (Experimental Analysis of the Ground Take-off Flight of a Butterfly)

  • In the present work, high-speed video images of the ground take-off flight of a live butterfly were captured and their dynamic motions during the first full-stroke were analyzed. To capture the dynamic images of the take-off motion, the experimental setup consisted of a high-speed camera, a Xenon lamp as a light source and a transparent chamber of $15^W{\times}15^L{\times}17^H$ $cm^3$ in physical size. The ambient temperature and supplementary lighting devices were precisely controlled. The weight and wing span of the butterfly tested in this study was 104 mg and 63.14 mm, respectively. The ground take-off images were captured with 4000 fps with a spatial resolution of (1024${\times}$512) pixels. The period of the first full-stroke was 80.5ms and the flapping speed of downstroke was 2 times faster than that of upstroke. As a result, butterflies used the fling and near-clap motion to generate lifting force and an interesting take-off behavior of early pronation and downstroke was observed.

인터렉티브 텔레프롬프터의 설계 (Design of Interactive Teleprompter)

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간 방송 및 스마트 미러 등과 같은 사용자 개인 또는 다른 사용자들과의 상호 작용이 가능한 인터렉티브 텔레프롬프터의 개념을 소개, 논의하고 실제 제작 사례를 제시한다. 이 적용 분야에서는 사용자 자신 또는 사용자와 제3자 사이의 시선의 일치가 심리적인 측면과 비음성적 커뮤니케이션에서 중요한 역할을 차지한다. 그러나 일반적인 모니터와 카메라의 조합만으로는 실제 거울을 보는 것과 같은 시선 일치를 구현하기가 쉽지 않기 때문에, 기존 방송 현장에서 널리 사용하는 텔레프롬프터의 원리를 응용한다. 제안하는 설계에서는 기존 방식과는 달리 깊이 정보를 통한 제스처 인식까지 구현하며 가시광선 정보와 적외선 정보 각각의 효율적인 처리를 위해서 텔레프롬프터에서 핵심적인 역할을 담당하는 빔 스플리터의 설계 사례와 실험 결과를 제시한다.

70 및 120kHz에서 쥐노래미와 감성돔에 대한 음향 반사 강도의 체장 의존성 (Fish length dependence of target strength for black porgy and fat greenling at two frequencies of 70 and 120kHz)

  • Black porgy and fat greenling are commercially important fish species due to the continuously increasing demand in Korea. When estimating acoustically the fish length by a fish sizing echo sounder, it is of crucial importance to know the target strength (TS) to length dependence. In relation to these needs, the target strength experiments for live fishes were conducted in an acrylic salt water tank using two split-beam echo sounders operating at 70 and 120kHz. The target strength under well-controlled laboratory conditions was simultaneously measured with the swimming movement by digital video recording (DVR) system and analyzed as a function of fish length (L) and frequency (or wavelength ${\lambda}$). Equations of the form TS-alog (L)+blog (1)+c were derived for their TS-length dependence. The best fit regression of TS on fork length for black porgy was TS=20.62 log (L, m)-0.62 log (${\lambda}$, m)-30.68 ($r^2$=0.77). The best fit regression of TS on fork length for fat greenling was TS=12.06 log (L, m)-5.85 log (${\lambda}$, m)-22.15 ($r^2$=0.44).

DVD 영화관 관리시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of DVD cinema Management System)

  • 최근 디지털 기술이 발달됨에 따라 소비자는 보다 선명한 영상과 생동감 있는 음질로 영화를 관람하고자하는 욕구가 발생하여 비디오방이나 일반 영화관 대신에 DVD 영화관의 이용이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 현재의 DVD 영화관에서는 단순히 상영시간에 맞추어 이용요금 계산 기능만을 가진 관리 시스템을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 보다 효율적인 DVD 영화관 관리시스템을 제안한다. 특히, 여기서 제안하는 시스템은 패킷전송 기술을 이용해서 DVD 영화관에서 긴급한 상황이 발생했을 때 신속하게 대처할 수 있는 특징을 갖고 있다. 그 외 판매하는 물품관리, 신규 DVD 영화 관리와 등록이 가능하도록 했으며 관리자의 효율적인 업무를 도모하고 DVD 영화관 이용객과 원활한 양방향 커뮤니케이션이 가능하도록 하였다.

원격지 물체의 삼차원 위치 측정시스템의 개발 (Development of a Remote Object's 3D Position Measuring System)

  • In this paper a 3D position measuring device that finds the 3D position of an arbitarily placed object using a camersa system is introduced. The camera system consists of three stepping motors and a CCD camera and a laser. The viewing direction of the camera is controlled by two stepping motors (pan and tilt motors) and the direction of a laser is also controlled by a stepping motors(laser motor). If an object in a remote place is selected from a live video image the x,y,z coordinates of the object with respect to the reference coordinate system can be obtained by calculating the distance from the camera to the object using a structured light scheme and by obtaining the orientation of the camera that is controlled by two stepping motors. The angles o f stepping motors are controlled by a SGI O2 workstation through a parallel port. The mathematical model of the camera and the distance measuring system are calibrated to calculate an accurate position of the object. This 3D position measuring device can be used to acquire information that is necessary to monitor a remote place.
