가정환경변인이 유아의 언어능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Home Environment on Children`s Linguistic Ability)

  • This study used path analysis to investigate the effect of home environment on children's linguistic ability. Participants were 230 4- to 5-year-old kindergarten and child care children and their parents located in D city, Gyeongbuk Province. Instruments were the Children's Linguistic Ability Test (Suk Im Lee, 2006), and questionnaires to measure the physical and literacy environment at home and parents' socio-economic status. Results showed that parents' socio-economic status and application of a literacy environment directly caused children's literacy; physical surroundings and an environment of literacy were variables that effected children's literacy indirectly.

스토리텔링을 활용한 그리기활동이 유아의 창의성과 언어표현력에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Storytelling-used Drawing Activities on Young Children's Creativity and Linguistic Expressiveness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 스토리텔링을 활용한 그리기 활동이 유아의 창의성과 언어표현력에 미치는 효과를 알아봄으로써 유아의 창의성 및 언어표현력 발달을 돕기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구대상은 경기도 안양시에 소재한 D 어린이집에 재원 중인 만 4세 유아 20명으로 실험집단에는 스토리텔링을 활용한 그리기 활동을, 비교집단에는 명화감상과 동화 듣기 후 그리기 활동을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스토리텔링을 활용한 그리기 활동을 한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 창의성에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 창의성의 하위요인별로 살펴보면 감수성, 독창성, 융통성에서 실험집단의 점수가 비교집단의 점수에 비해 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 스토리텔링을 활용한 그리기 활동을 한 실험집단이 비교집단보다 언어표현력에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 언어표현력의 하위요인별로 살펴보면 그림 보고 이야기 꾸미기와 그림 보고 연계성 있는 이야기 꾸미기에서 실험집단의 점수가 비교집단의 점수에 비해 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 결론적으로 스토리텔링을 활용한 그리기 활동은 유아의 창의성과 언어표현력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 유아의 창의성과 언어표현력 향상을 위한 효과적인 방법임을 확인하였다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

  • This research was conducted to investigate the priming effect in Korean and English word production by Korean speakers. Picture-naming with distractors was used as experimental task. The type of target language, the type of distractor language and SOA(Stimulus Onset Asynchrony) were used as variables. Cross-linguistic priming effect and within-linguistic priming effect were mesured to investigate bilinguals' conceptual system.

단어재인 초기단계에서의 언어학적 변인의 역할 (Early Locus of a Linguistic Variable in Word Recognition)

  • The syllable and the morpheme are known to be important linguistic variables. This study examined whether these variables were activated in an early stage of word recognition using the fast priming task. Mixing the lettercase for the prime, the results of experiment 1 and 2 revealed effects of the syllable and the morpheme at a short SOA (Stimulus Onset Asynchrony), but not at a long SOA. Using the same manipulation in the experiment 3 and 4, an effect of syllable was found to be significant at the short SOA, but not at the long SOA. The study showed that the syllable plays a role in an early stage of word recognition.

  • In recent years, there have been a number of applications of fuzzy logic in fuzzy reasoning system. The main objective of these applications is to approximate a decision making using the fuzzy reasoning system. This paper designs a fuzzy reasoning model for the decision making of registration fee at a private school, implements it applying for linguistic variables and fuzzy rules, and evaluates the practical availability of the model. The system accepts fuzzy rules, the type of membership functions, the domain of fuzzy sets and hedge, and fuzzifies the linguistic variables to generates fuzzy sets. The fuzzy sets generated are combined to constructs a solution fuzzy set. Finally, the system defuzzifies the solution fuzzy set to calculate a scalar value which is used for decision making.

어머니의 배경변인에 따른 양육지식과 영아와 상호작용의 관계 (Relationship between Parenting Knowledge and Mother-Infant Interaction According to the Mother's Background)

  • This study investigated parenting knowledge, interactions between mother and infant, and relationship between mother's parenting knowledge and mother-infant interaction by mothers' demographic variables. Subjects were 311 mothers. Instruments were the Knowledge of Child Development Inventory (Larsen & Juhasz, 1986) and the Assessment Profile for Early Childhood programs (Abbott-Shim & Sibely, 1987). Data were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA. Results showed (1) differences about parenting knowledge by mothers' employment status, age and education level, (2) differences in mother-infant interaction by mothers' age and education level, (3) parenting knowledge about physical development correlated positively with positive interaction, linguistic modeling, and sensitive response knowledge about linguistic and cognitive development had a large effect on positive mother-infant interaction and linguistic modeling.

Fuzzy Logic Controller에 의한 선박의 제어 (Application of Fuzzy Logic Control to Ship's Steering System)

  • Many studies have been done in the field of fuzzy logic theory, but it's application is not so much, and particularly, there isn't any application to the ship's steering system, until now. This paper is to survey the effect of application of fuzzy logic control to the ship's steering system. The controller is made up of a set of Linguistic Control Rules which are conditional linguistic statements connecting the inputs and the output, and take the inputs derived from the errors, that is, deviation angle and it's angular velocity. These two variables together give information about the state of the steering system, and the Linguistic Control Rules are implemented on the digital computer. The characteristics of this system were investigated through the computer simulation and satisfactory results compared with that of the conventional PD controller were obtained.

결혼이주민의 언어능력이 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 경로에 관한 연구 (A study on the path that the linguistic competence of Marriage migrants affects to the quality of life)

  • 결혼이민자들을 대상으로 이들의 언어능력과 삶의 질 수준을 파악하고 언어능력이 가족관계, 사회관계의 경로를 통해 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 수도권 지역의 다문화 결혼이민자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 결혼이주민의 가족관계와 사회관계, 삶의 질에 대한 인식이 보통 이상이었으며, 한국어능력은 보통수준으로 인식하였다. 둘째, 한국어능력이 가족관계, 사회관계를 거쳐 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 모든 경로가 유의하였다. 셋째, 고학력, 고소득, 자발만남 결혼이민자집단이 한국어능력, 가족관계, 삶의 질에 대한 인식이 상대적으로 높았다. 넷째, 고학력 및 저학력 집단, 고소득 및 저소득 집단, 자발만남 및 중개만남 집단의 삶의 질에 언어능력이 미치는 경로는 상이하였으나 전체적으로 가족관계의 역할이 언어능력보다 크게 나타났다.

유아의 또래 상호작용이 언어·인지능력을 매개로 자기통제력에 미치는 종단적 영향: 성별의 차이를 중심으로 (The Longitudinal Effects of Preschoolers' Peer Interaction on Self-Control with Linguistic and Cognitive Abilities as Mediators: Focusing on Gender Differences)

  • The study examined the longitudinal relations of preschool children's peer interaction, linguistic and cognitive abilities, and self-control, while taking into account gender differences. The study was conducted with 671 preschoolers from the $5^{th}$, $6^{th}$, and $7^{th}$ wave of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Study (KCYPS). Data were analyzed by means of basic descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, and structural equation modeling analysis. Bootstrapping method was also used to determine the significance of indirect effects. The analysis were conducted to find the longitudinal effects of peer interaction at the age of 4 on their self-control at the age of 6, and the mediating effects of linguistics and cognitive abilities at the age of 5 on its associations. The results indicated gender differences among the variables. According to multi-group analysis, there was a significant influence of 4 years' peer interaction on subsequent 5 years' linguistic and cognitive abilities but also on 6 years' self-control across time for boys; however, no significant direct effect of peer interaction on self-control was found for girls. Based on the findings of this study, it can be implied that it is necessary to apply different methods for boys and girls to promote self-control from the influence of peer interaction and linguistic and cognitive abilities.

퍼지제어기의 멤버쉽함수의 튜닝 방법 (A Tuning Method for the Membership Functions of a Fuzzy Controller)

  • It is known that the performance of a fuzzy controller is related with fuzzification method, inference rules, defuzzification method, and linguistic variables. Among these, generally, the linguistic variables and control rules are transfered to control engineers from an expert or experts of the controlled system and other parts are designed by control engineers. However, there may be some missed infirmations or uncertainties in the transfered data. The purpose of the paper is to propose an algorithm to tune the membership functions of initially given fuzzy sets To do so, a simple shape of the membership fuction is assumed for the fuzzy sets, and the relations between the shapes of the fuzzy sets and the performance of the control system is derived. According to the relations, the shape of the membership functions are modified during operation of the whole system. The proposed algorithm will be applied to two emample plants, type 1 and type 0 systems.
