정적 외연적 유한요소법을 이용한 비드공정해석 (The Analysis of Draw-bead Process by Using Static-explicit Finite Element Method)

  • In the sheet metal forming process, the drawbead is used to control the flow of material during the forming process. The drawbead provides proper restraining force to the material and prevents defects such as wrinkling or breakage. For these reasons, many studies for designing the effective drawbead have been conducted. For the analysis, the numerical method called the static-explicit finite element method was used. The finite element analysis code for this method has been developed and applied to the drawbead process problems. In result, convergence problem and computation time due to large non-linearity in the existing numerical analysis methods were no longer a critical problem. Futhermore, this approach could treat the contact friction problem easily by applying very small time intervals. It is expected that various results from the numerical analysis will give very useful information for the design of tools in sheet metal forming process.

  • Thermo-chromic Liquid Crystal(TLC) particles were used as temperature sensor for thermal fluid flow. $1K\times1K$ CCD color camera and Xenon Lamp(500W) were used for the visualization of a Hele-Shaw cell. The characteristic between the reflected colors from the TLC and their corresponding temperature shows strong non-linearity. A neural network known as having strong mapping capability for non-linearity is adopted to quantify the temperature field using the image of the flow. Improvements of color-to-temperature mapping was attained by using the local color luminance (Y) and hue (H) information as the inputs for the constructed neural network.

전류변성기 비교측정 장치의 현장 평가기술 (On-Site Evaluation Technique of Current Transformer Comparator System)

  • A recently developed methods for on-site calibration of the current transformer (CT) comparator system have been reviewed in the paper. The method utilizes several traveling standards, which consist of the CT, non-reactive standard resistors, wide ratio error CT, and shunt resistors. The traveling CT is used for absolute evaluation of a standard CT belonging to industry. The non-reactive standard resistors and a wide ratio error CT are used for the linearity check of errors in the current comparator. The shunt resistors are used for evaluation of CT burden of industry.

  • A recently developed methods for the on-site calibration of the voltage transformer (VT) comparator system have been reviewed in the paper. The method utilizes the several traveling standards consisting of the VT, the non-reactive standard resistors, the wide ratio error VT, and the decade resistors. The VT is used for the absolute evaluation of a standard VT belonging to the industry. The non-reactive standard resistor and wide ratio error VT are used for the linearity check of errors in the voltage comparator of the industry. The decade resistors are used for evaluation of a VT burden of the industry.

  • This paper presents the characteristic simulation of PM-type magnetic circuit breaker with the 2D finite element magnetic field solution including non-linearity of the material and an eddy current. Change of dynamic characteristic of the actuator is quantified from the finite element analysis. The results obtained from a commercial finite element analysis software are compared with those calculated from the developed finite element analysis software. A new modified model to decrease the eddy current is proposed. The characteristics of the two models are compared.

  • 전력선 잡음은 ECG 신호 분석에 있어 특정 구간의 왜곡을 발생시킬 수 있다. 특히 P와 R파와 같이 부정맥 진단에 중요한 요소가 되는 구간은 전력선 주파수가 샘플링 주파수의 배수(multiple)일 경우와 그렇지 않을 경우에 각각 다른 형태의 잡음으로 나타나며, 잡음의 특성 또한 선형과 비선형으로 나누어진다. 본 논문에서는 ECG 신호의 가변적인 전력선 잡음 제거를 위한 적응형 차감 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 먼저 전력선 주파수와 샘플링 주파수와의 배수 관계를 multiple과 non-multiple로 구분한 후 각 구간에 대한 선형성 여부를 판단한다. 이후 선형 구간은 이동평균 필터를 이용하여 잡음성분을 추출하고, 비선형 구간 잡음은 선형구간에서 추출되어 임시버퍼에 저장된 잡음 성분을 이용하여 추출한다. 제안한 기법의 P파와 R파 검출성능을 평가하기 위해 MIT-BIH 데이터베이스의 119번 레코드를 사용하였다. 실험 결과 기존 노치 필터의 경우 P파 97.91%, R파 96.66%, 제안한 차감기법의 경우 P파 99.01%, R파 97.93%의 검출결과를 나타내었다.

성층권 비행선 기낭 막재료에 대한 비선형 거동 연구 (Non-Linear Behavior Analysis for Stratospheric Airship Envelope)

  • 본 논문에서는 평직구조를 갖는 성층권 비행선 기낭의 하중막재에 대한 비선형 유한요소 해석 결과를 기술하였다. 평직구조를 갖는 하중막재의 미세구조를 3차원적으로 구현하였고, Updated Lagrangian 방법을 사용하여 기하학적 비선형성을 고려하였다 계산결과, 큰 변형률에서 비선형해석으로부터 얻은 응력-변형률 곡선은 선형해석의 결과와 큰 차이를 보였다. 또한 응력-변형률 곡선으로부터 얻은 비선형 탄성계수 값은 선형 탄성계수보다 큰 값을 보였는데 그 차이는 섬유의 굴곡도가 작은 경우 더욱 두드러지게 나타났다

차량의 동적 특성 분석을 통한 궤도틀림 식별 (An Identification of Track Irregularity by Analyzing Dynamic Characteristics of a Train)

  • In this study, to grasp the stability of train and to identify the track irregularity, the algorithm was proposed. As the track deformation occur due to running train, the dynamic characteristics of train show non-linearity. The representative transfer functions of wheel to car response were calculated from the frequency response functions which were estimated from measured triaxial accelerations. The measured acceleration responses were compared with the estimated responses from filtered acceleration outputs. This result could show the non-linearity of train system at the location of track deformed. The proposed algorithm was verified by matching with the site investigation.

양로드형과 편로드형 EHA의 힘 제어 특성 비교(I): 추종 성능 (Comparison of Force Control Characteristics Between Double-Rod and Single-Rod Type Electro-Hydrostatic Actuators (I): Tracking Performance)

  • In this study, the force tracking performance of the single-rod and double-rod type EHAs (Electro-Hydrostatic Actuators) was compared by computer simulation and experiments. The force-controlled EHAs exhibit non-linear behavior that are significantly dependent on operation conditions. The investigation focused on localizing the parameters that provide significant rise to the non-linearity. For this, the single-rod and double-rod type EHAs were mathematically expressed to derive their linear models. In parallel, they were modeled by a commercial simulation program including non-linear properties based on experimental results. It was shown that the dependency of the bulk modulus of oil with entrapped air on working pressure dominated the non-linearity in force control performance in case of the double-rod type EHA. The force control of the single-rod type EHA was influenced by much more elements. Besides the asymmetrical piston geometry and the non-linear bulk modulus of oil, its pilot-operated check valves made it dependent not only on the magnitude of reference input but also on its direction.
