Purpose of this study is to determine the reasonable portal approach for thoracoscopic right middle lung lobectomy in small sized dogs under 10 kg. Ten healthy beagle dogs weighing $8.67{\pm}0.49kg$ were included. Under general anesthesia, one-lung ventilation (1LV) was achieved using endobronchial blocker with guidance of fiber-optic bronchoscope. Two portal approaches were used; 8-6-10 intercostal space (ICS) and 8-6-5 ICS approach. Thoracoscopic right middle lung lobectomy was performed using endoscopic linear self-cutting stapler and specimen retrieval bag. Each approach was evaluated by scoring 0; bad, 1; endurable, 2; good, 3; excellent in following five category, 1) visualization, 2) triangulation; instrumental sword fighting in the thoracic cavity, 3) approach to hilar pedicle; application of stapler, 4) any obstacles in applicating Lap Bag, and 5) the operator's convenience. Favorable working space was secured by 1LV and thoracoscopic right middle lung lobectomy was successfully completed in all dogs. There was no need to change the portal location and iatrogenic complication. Most of scores were good to excellent in both approaches. Consequently, both approaches are feasible methods for thoracoscopic right middle lung lobectomy with one lung ventilation using endoscopic linear self-cutting stapler in dogs weighing less than 10 kg.
In noisy and multi-speaker environments, the performance of speech recognition is unavoidably lower than in a clean environment. To improve speech recognition, in this paper, the signal of the speaker of interest is extracted from the mixed speech signals with multiple speakers. The VoiceFilter model is used to effectively separate overlapped speech signals. In this work, clustering by Probabilistic Linear Discriminant Analysis (PLDA) similarity score was employed to detect the speech signal of the interested speaker, which is used as the reference speaker to VoiceFilter-based separation. Therefore, by utilizing the speaker feature extracted from the detected speech by the proposed clustering method, this paper propose a speaker diarization system using only the mixed speech without an explicit reference speaker signal. We use phone-dataset consisting of two speakers to evaluate the performance of the speaker diarization system. Source to Distortion Ratio (SDR) of the operator (Rx) speech and customer speech (Tx) are 5.22 dB and -5.22 dB respectively before separation, and the results of the proposed separation system show 11.26 dB and 8.53 dB respectively.
The purpose of this study was to investigate true hinge axis location with different times (8:00-9:00 A.M.,2:00-3:00 P.M.) and with experienced and inexperienced groups. 25 subjects, 23-27 years of age , with functionally acceptable occlusion, and no clinical signs of temporomandibular joint dysfunction were participated in this study. In this study arbitrary hinge axis point was located 13 mm anterior to the posterior margin of the tragus on a line from the center of the tragus to the outer canthus of the eye and then the true hinge axis point was located with T.M.J. hinge axis locator. The discrepancies of distance and the direction between true hinge axis point and arbitrary hinge axis point were studied according to times and two groups. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The mean distance from arbitrary hinge axis point to the true hinge axis point on the right and left sides was as follows : Experienced group: linear distance: $1.228{\pm}3.145mm$, vertical distance: $-1.128{\pm}2.515mm$, horizontal distance: $-0.484{\pm}1.806mm$. Inexperience group: linear distance: $1.628{\pm}3.158mm$, vertical distance: $-1.169{\pm}2.090mm$, horizontal distance: $-1.133{\pm}2.367mm$. Horizontal distance between experienced and inexperienced groups was significant statistically. (P<0.1) 2. True hinge axis points located within 5 mm of arbitrary hinge axis point were 86.7% in the experienced group and 84% in the inexperienced group. 3. For experienced operator A with time, the mean distance from arbitrary hinge axis point to true hinge axis point was as follows: Horizontal distance: AM: $-0.613{\pm}1.966mm$, PM: $-0.860{\pm}2.156mm$. Vertical distance: AM: $-0.886{\pm}2.518mm$, PM : $-1.226{\pm}2.660mm$. True hinge axis points had tendency to be located posterior-inferiorly to tragus-canthus line in the afternoon than in the morning, but there was not significant statistically. (P>0.1)

Although programs have been developed to evaluate the risk of dragging anchors, it is practically difficult for VTS(vessel traffic service) operators to calculate and evaluate these risks by obtaining input factors from anchored ships. Therefore, in this study, the gross tonnage (GT) that could be easily obtained from the ship by the VTS operators was set as an independent variable, and linear and nonlinear regression analyses were performed using the input factors as the dependent variables. From comparing the fit of the polynomial model (linear) and power series model (nonlinear), the power series model was evaluated to be more suitable for all input factors in the case of container ships and bulk carriers. However, in the case of tanker ships, the power supply model was suitable for the LBP(length between perpendiculars), width, and draft, and the polynomial model was evaluated to be more suitable for the front wind pressure area, weight of the anchor, equipment number, and height of the hawse pipe from the bottom of the ship. In addition, all other dependent variables, except for the front wind pressure area factor of the tanker ship, showed high degrees of fit with a coefficient of determination (R-squared value) of 0.7 or more. Therefore, among the input factors of the dragging anchor risk assessment program, all factors except the external force, seabed quality, water depth, and amount of anchor chain let out are automatically applied by the regression analysis model formula when only the GT of the ship is provided.

Facebow transfer is essential for accurately mounting a dental cast onto a semi-adjustable articulator. The precision of traditional analog facebow transfer is influenced by both the accuracy of the equipment used and the skill level of the operator. Considering that substantial positional deviations can adversely affect the quality of a fabricated dental prosthesis; it is critical to assess the positional accuracy of casts mounted using analog facebow transfer. This case report evaluates the linear and angular deviations of the occlusal plane for maxillary casts mounted through both analog facebow transfer and cone-beam computed tomography-based methods. The findings indicate that analog facebow transfer produced a linear deviation ranging from 3 to 16 mm and an angular deviation of the occlusal plane between 5 to 7 degrees. This case report confirms that, across two patients, analog facebow transfer can result in varying degrees of positional deviation, thereby potentially leading to inaccuracies in the fabrication of dental prostheses. These results suggest that, in clinical practice, the use of analog facebow transfer may yield significant deviations during the process of mounting maxillary casts.
The present study was undertaken to evaluate the accuracy of ultrasonography in early pregnancy diagnosis in goats. Ultrasonographic scanning with real time B-mode ultrasound machine having 5 MHz linear array transducer was performed on gravid uterus (n=24) obtained from slaughterhouse (Group I). Crown rump length (CRL) measured by ultrasound was found significantly different (p<0.05) with actual CRL measured after dissection in early pregnancy. However, age predicted by ultrasound through the measurement of CRL was found highly correlated (r=0.92) with age measured after dissection through CRL and the weight of fetus. Ages predicted by ultrasound through the measurement of trunk diameter (TD) and uterine diameter (UD) and ages measured after dissection were found highly and equally correlated (r=0.98) and did not differ significantly. Data from six does synchronized (Group II) with PGF2$\alpha$ (Estrumate) at 11 days apart were collected through ultrasound from 17 to 42 days post breding. The correlation between CRL and gestational age was high (r=0.97) in day 30 to 42 post breeding. A high coefficient of correlation (r=0.98) was also observed between predicated age by ultrasound and actual age calculated after kidding. The correlation between CRL and gestational age by the formula Y=(a+bX) i.e. Y=24.42+0.39 X where Y=gestational age and X=CRL, was recorded very high (r=0.99). Accuracy of ultrasonography was lowest on day 17 to 19 (66%) and reached 100% on day 34. Data from 30 does (group III) randomly subjected to only one time ultrasounds scanning to assess the accuracy of pregnancy diagnosis were also obtained. Ages predicted by TD and UD measurements were observed to be non-significantly different with actual age obtained after kidding and correlation between ages predicted by TD and UD measurement with actual age after kidding was found equally and highly correlated (r=0.98). The operator's accuracy in the whole experiment including all three groups was found to be 92%. The sensitivity was 93% and specificity was 86%. From the present study, it was observed that CRL was the most reliable parameter to find out gestational age in early pregnancy and the new formula derived was found very accurate to find out gestational age. TD and UD were also found to be equally reliable parameter to find out gestational age in mid and late stage of pregnancy through ultrasonography. It was concluded that ultrasonography by real time B mode with 5 MHz transrectal transducer was found to be reliable, safe and accurate and practicable means in diagnosing early pregnancy diagnosis as early as 25 days post breeding.

Objectives: This study aimed to assess exposure to black carbon(BC) among forklift operators and to identify environmental and occupational factors influencing their BC exposure. Methods: We studied a total of 23 forklift operators from six workplaces manufacturing paper boxes. A daily BC exposure assessment was conducted during working hours from January to April 2017. A micro-aethalometer was used to monitor daily BC exposure, and information on work activities was also obtained through a time-activity diary(TAD) and interviews. BC exposure records were classified into four categories influencing BC exposure level: working environment, workplace, forklift operation, and job characteristics. Analysis of variance(ANOVA) was used to compare average BC exposure levels among the four categories and the relationships between potential factors and BC exposure were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. Results: The operators' daily exposure was $12.9{\mu}g/m^3$(N=9,148, $GM=7.5{\mu}g/m^3$) with a range: $0.001-811.4{\mu}g/m^3$. The operators were exposed to significantly higher levels when they operate a forklift in a room ${\leq}20,000m^3$($AM=12.3{\mu}g/m^3$), in indoor workplaces($AM=16.3{\mu}g/m^3$), when they operate a forklift manufactured before 2006 ($AM=13.2{\mu}g/m^3$), a forklift with a loading limit of four-tons($AM=27.1{\mu}g/m^3$), with a roll and bale type clamp($AM=17.1{\mu}g/m^3$), and with no particulate filter($AM=15.7{\mu}g/m^3$). Conclusions: Occupational factors including temperature, smoking, season, daytime, room volume($m^3$), location of operating, and manufacturing era and model of forklift influenced the BC exposure of forklift operators. The results of this study can be used to minimize the BC exposure of forklift operators.
Discussion on OTT regulation has become fiercer, as OTT services' impacts on the global and domestic media market have been exponentially growing. In South Korea, it is argued that, on the basis of the similarity between television program and OTT's video content, OTT needs to be regulated in order to protect fair competition and to control sociocultural effects. In many of the discussions, developed countries' cases have been used for supporting OTT regulation. In this paper, we first analyzed the global OTT market trends based on our own categorization of OTT services. then we assessed the validity of the application of the foreign cases in the current OTT regulation debates in Korea. We proposed six OTT types (aggregation, mediation, mediation-aggregation, multi-screen, outlet, and outlet-linear) simultaneously considering service operator' origin, business model, content format, and content delivery. These services have been consistently evolving, and the OTT market has been increasingly competitive especially around content differentiation. Regulators must be wary of hastily introducing competition regulation to the dynamically innovating OTT market. The foreign cases, including the US, EU, the UK, and Japan, hardly seem to be appropriate bases for strengthening OTT regulation. Rather, they were focused more on promoting competition in the domestic media market and enriching the content ecosystem. Therefore, we need to consider revision of the outdated media regulation frameworks instead of fitting OTT under them, and to recognize the priority of securing practical jurisdiction on global service providers before capturing local players into the conventional regulation systems.
Recently the development of rotary instrument makes it possible that in root canal treatment operator saves much more time, maintans original curved canal shape and easily prepares continuous tapered root canal. The purpose of this experiment was to examine the smoothness of the internal surface of prepared root canal and the effectiveness of debridement in prepared root canal by SEM for the comparison of hand and Ni-Ti rotary instrument. 25 extracted human teeth were access opened and # 10 K-type file was introduced into canal until it was appeared at the apical foramen. The working length was established by subtracting 0.5mm from this measurement. Group 1. The root canal preparation was done to # 30 with working length and then step-back until # 45 with K-Flexofile (Maillefer, Swiss). Group 2. Root canal preparation was done by Naviflex Ni-Ti file (Brasseler, USA) as the same technique with group 1. Group 3. Canal was prepared by Profile .04 (Maillefer, Swiss) taper until #30. Group 4. With use of Quantec (Tycom, USA) root canal was prepared from file number 1 to 8. In group 1 and 2, the root canal irrigant was NaOCl and the other groups, NaOCl and RC-prep (Premine Dental Products, USA) was used. The prepared teeth were notched with high-speed bur as bucco-lingual direction and fractured with chisel and mallet, then examined with SEM. Group 1 showed smooth internal surface. There were scratches mainly to the axial direction. Group 2 showed similar characteristics to those in group 1. Group 3 showed more smoother and linear cutting surface with bised scratches. Group 4 has the almost same characteristics group 3 and there was no difference in the file design. Ni-Ti rotary root canal instrument prepare the dentinal wall more smoother than hand instrument. The effectiveness of debridement was not fully affected by file design. The isthmus area and accessory canals of the root canal system were not prepared in any group. According to the result, hand and rotary type instrumentation techniques were effective in removal of major amount of tissue from root canal but it was not complete. In the direction of cutting movement there was difference between them.
YGN 3 is the first nuclear power plant to use the Core Protection Calculator (CPC) as the core protection system and the Core Operating Limit Supervisory System (COLSS) as the core monitor-ing system in Korea. The CPC is designed to provide on-line calculations of Departure from Nucleate Boiling Ratio (DNBR) and Local Power Density (LPD) and to initiate reactor trip if the core conditions exceed the DNBR or LPD design limit. The COLSS is designed to assist the operator in implementing the Limiting Conditions for Operation (LCOs) in Technical Specifications for DNBR/Linear Heat Rate (LHR) margin, azimuthal tilt, and axial shape index and to provide alarm when the LCOs are reached. During YGN 3 initial startup testing, extensive CPC/COLSS related tests ore peformed to ver-ify the CPC/COLSS performance and to obtain optimum CPC/COLSS calibration constants at var, -ious core conditions. Most of test results met their specific acceptance criteria. In the case of missing the acceptance criteria, the test results ore analyzed, evaluated, and justified. Through the analysis and evaluation of each of the CPC/COLSS related test results, it can be concluded that the CPC/COLSS are successfully Implemented as designed at YGN 3.
