온-라인 모니터링 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of on-line Monitoring and Controlling System)

  • 산업현장의 기계장치나 실내 외 그리고 해양 등과 같은 주위 환경의 데이터를 원거리의 중앙 컴퓨터에 전송하여 그 상태를 확인하여 해석하고, 해석된 데이터를 바탕으로 이상 유무 등을 판별하여 시스템의 최적 동작을 위한 시스템 명령 등을 Network나 유 무선 통신을 이용하여 전달하는 온-라인 모니터링 시스템이다. 본 연구는 온-라인 모니터링 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 염산 수조의 온도를 원격지의 중앙 컴퓨터에서 제어하는 시스템으로써 모니터링부 무선송신부, 온도콘트롤부로 이루어진 실험 장치를 구성하였다. 본 시스템을 응용하면 재난 재해방지 시스템, 경보 시스템과 같은 USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network)시스템에 적용이 가능하다.

공과대학 신입생들의 함수개념 연구와 함수 영역의 교육과정에 대한 제안 (The Function Concept in Korean Engineering Freshmen and Some Suggestions on the Curriculum in the Function Area)

  • 본 논문에서는 세 가지 관련된 분야의 연구를 통하여 우리나 대학 신입생들의 함수 개념을 조사하였다. 대학 신입생들은 함수를 어떻게 이해하고 있는가?; 인식론적 장애를 포함한 오 개념에는 어떤 것들이 있는가?; 함수 개념은 어떤 경로를 거쳐서 획득되는가? 등이다. 이와 함께 대학의 여러 분야에서 함수가 어떻게 정의되고 쓰이는지를 살펴보고, 미국의 교과서들에 나타난 함수 정의와 도입을 살펴보았다. 설문조사와 이들을 토대로 함수를 대응의 관점에서 도입하는 새로운 교육과정에 대하여 수직선 테스트의 도입을 포함한 몇 가지 제언을 하였다.

다수.다얼성 옥수수(NET)의 세포질적 유전 (Cytoplasmic Inheritance of High Tillering and Earing Characters of a Korean Local Maize Line(MET))

  • 1981년부터 최 등이 재래종 옥수수의 수집종 가운데서 병발한 한계통(MET)을 분얼이 많이되고 또한 개체당 이삭(수)수도 많아서 사료용 옥수수의 육종재료로 가치가 있다고 생각되었으나 이 옥수수에 대한 유전적 분석이 확실히 되어 있지를 않았다. 따라서 본연구에서는 MET와 비분얼성이며 이삭도 하나 밖에 달리지 않는 수원 19호 (Mo17$\times$B68) 교잡종을 이용하여 F$_1$, F$_2$, BC$_1$, 세대를 양성하고 Mather의 세대평균분석법에 의하여 분석한 결과 MET 계통의 다수.다얼성은 염색체상의 유전인자에 의한 다기 보다 세포질적 유전인자에 의한다는 것을 확인하였다. 이같은 결론은 MET계통을 모계로 하여 교잡한 려잡종 세대에서 확실히 얻을 수가 있었다. 즉 MET 계통을 모계로 이용했을 때의 평균분얼과 이삭수는 MET를 부계로 이용했을 때의 분얼수와 이삭수 보다 많았는데 이는 이같은 특성들이 모계유전을 하기 때문이다. 그러나 이같은 특성들이 F$_1$이나 F$_2$에서 나타나지 않은 것은 F$_1$에서 특히 보여주는 잡종강세현상 때문에 옥수수의 정부우세성이 매우커서 상반적으로 분얼이나 이삭의 발달이 억제되었기 때문이라고 생각된다. 그리고 분얼이나 이삭의 절대수가 모계로 이용했던 MET에서 보다 잡종세대가 진전될수록 적어지는 것은 잡종강세외에도 MET계통의 세포질약 내지 유전인자적 축적량(Dose)이 적어지기 때문이라고 생각되어진다. 이같은 MET계통의 특성은 려교잡에 의한 MET계통의 세포질을 유지하거나 축적하므로써 사료용 옥수수의 육종에 이용될 수 있을 것으로 보여졌다.

  • 고속도로 위빙구간은 진입과 진출차량에 의한 상충이 발생되는 지점으로 본선과의 영향을 최소화하기 위하여 집산로를 설치토록 하고 있다. 집산부의 설계속도는 50km/h이나 실제 운전자는 설계속도에 맞춰 적정한 감속이 이루어지지 않고 있어 사고위험이 상존해 있다. 현재 집산로가 설치된 위빙구간의 경우 전구간 진출입 가능한 행태로 설계되고 있어 운전행태를 분석하기 위해 본 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 운전자의 행태를 분석하기 위해 클로버형 입체교차로를 중심으로 현장조사를 실시하였고, 조사된 자료를 활용하여 진출입 엇갈림 구간에서의 주행속도 및 차로변경위치, 운전자 주행행태를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 향후 엇갈림 진출입구간에 대한 교통안전성 향상 및 기초자료로 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

Cytolytic T cell line CTLL - 2의 세포증식에 미치는 cytokine의 효과 (EFFECTS OF CYTOKINES ON THE CELL PROLIFERATION OF CYTOLYTIC T CELL LINE CTLL - 2)

  • Abnormalities of the T cell subsets have been detected in the immunologically mediated disease sites such as periodontal lesions which are attributable to the regulatory effect of cell differentiation and specific chemokinetic effect of various cytokines. Macrophage Inflammatory protein$(MIP)-1{\alpha}$ and gammain terferon$({\gamma}-IFN)$ serve as important immunoregulatory molecules through which growth and differentiation of specific T cell subsets are known to be negatively regulated. Murine cytolytic T cell line CTLL-2 were used to perform the [$^3H$]-thymidine incorporation test, by which we obtained more comprehensive view in regulatory actions of cytokines on the T cell subset proliferation. 1. $rMIP-{\alpha}$(200ng/ml) and $r{\gamma}-IFN$(100U/ml) appreared to suppress the proliferation rate to CTLL-2 by 74 and 86% respectively, and the suppressive action of two cytokines were synergisic. 2. Culture supernatant of anti-CD3 mAb-stimulated mouse splenocyte enhanced the proliferation rate of CTLL-2 up to 10-fold with dose-dependent manner. However, culture supernatant of unstimulated splenocyte showed only 2-fold increase in the proliferation rate. 3. CTLL-2 cell proliferation was strictly IL-2 dependent.

인체 Histiocytic Lymphoma Cell Line U937의 종식 및 분화에 대한 새로운 $1.25(OH)_2D_3$ 유도체의 효과에 관한 연구 (Effects of a New 1,25(OH)$_2$-Vitamin $D_3$ Anglog on Proliferation and Differentiation of the Human Histiocytic Lymphoma Cell Line U937)

  • This study describes the effects of novel1, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D$_3$ analong[1,25(OH)$_2$-16ene-23yne-26, 27-F6-D$_3$] on proliferation of the human histiocytic lymphoma cell line U937 in vitro. We also examined the expression of c-myc oncogene in U937 cells was apparently inhibited to 62% and 87% of the control level after 4 days in the presence of 10-8M and 10-7 M of this analog, respectively. This compound morpholgically and functionally differentiated U937 cells to nonocyte-macrophage phenotype showing the increase of adherence ability to surface and a decrease of N/C ratio in Giemsa staining . Especially, nonspecific esterase activity which is a marker of cell differentiation to monocyte-macrophage was positive, and production of the positive stained cells increased in a dose dependent fashion . The expression of c-myc oncogene by 1, 25(OH)$_2$D$_3$ analog(10-7 M) was reduced by 60% at the mRNA level as determined by Northern blotting. The effects of this novel analog on cell proliferation and cell differentiation may open op new therapeutic strategies for human disorders such as psoriassis and may provide a tool to understand the mechanism of action of vitamin D$_3$ seco-steroids in malignancy.

  • In the history of the costume of Western Europe one of the most interesting apects is that the silhouette of women's dress has been continuously evolved. There can be various origins in this changing silhouette but the most important origin is that clothes of any period are the reflection of the architectural political religious and economic background against which they are worn they must also be djusted to the texture and design of the materials produced at the time and of course there is always the basic instinct of sex attraction. The changing line in men's and women's clothes has been demanded by each period but man's great active life did not required the development of exaggerated line which could restrict his movements. Exaggeration in men's clothes has usually been confined to accessories only details could be simplified or abandoned altogether in time of action. However Woman has no great concern in these restrivtions and when an era demanded an exaggerated silhouette she developed it to the utmost limit with out any hesitation plunged herself into whalebone cane and steel for the desired line and then later to adapt herself to a changing world just as without any hesitaion abandoned all these artificial props. In this study first of all the origin of the corset and the evolution of silhouette will be chronologically studied and rearranged on the basis of written materials such as text books theses and catalogs which are related to corset In this section the most important backgrounds-social religious and economic-which caused the chages of silhouette will be scrutinized in a time order. Then the shapes and functions of corsets will be looked into in a more detailed way. In addition the materials and decorations which were preferred to achieve the desired silhouette will be examined. Finally underwear which was and has been worn for cleanness protection the shapes of outer clothes and erotic mood will be studied.

Effect of Artemisiae Capillaris Herba on Anti-inflammatory Properties in RAW264.7 Cell Line

  • The present study was performed to examine the possible anti-inflammatory effects of a herbal drug ASCH in RAW264.7 cell line. Inflammation was induced by LPS toxin treatment to RAW264.7 macrophage cell line. Increases in cytokine production such as IL-1β, IL-6. and IL-18, COX-2, NOS-Ⅱ (iNOS), and TNF-alpha were observed at mRNA level in the LPS-treated RAW264.7 cells. Measurement of IL-6, nitric oxide and the reactive oxygen species (ROS) showed increased production of these inflammation mediators. Treatment of ASCH effectively decreased IL-1β protein in a dose-dependent manner, and IL-6 and IL-18 were reduced at 100㎍/㎖ of ASCH concentration. NO production was also decreased by ASCH treatment. A slight inhibition for TNF-alpha in terms of protein, but not mRNA level was obtained by 100㎍/㎖ of ASCH treatment. ASCH treatment to normal RAW264.7 cells did not produce any cytotoxicity, indicting that the action of ASCH was selective to inflammatory cells. Thus, the present data suggest that ASCH may act as an important regulator to alleviate the inflammatory symptoms.

봉독약침액(蜂毒藥鍼液)이 비만세포주의 CD/cytokine 유전자(遺傳子) 발현(發現)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Microarray Analysis of CD/cytokine Gene Expression in Human Mast Cell treated with Bee Venom)

  • Objective: Bee Venom(BV) has been used for various kinds of inflammatory or painful conditions in Oriental Medicine clinics, and there publishes reports on its therapeutic effects and the probable mechanism of those therapeutic effects, where CDs and cytokines plays important role. This study investigated the influences of bee venom on the expressions of CDs and cytokines of HMC cell line Methods: In this study we analysed the expression profile of HMC cell line treated with BV of 10-2ug/ml in relation to that of HMC cell line treated with vehicle by way of CD/cytokine microarray hybridization with 342 genes on it. Results: There were no upregulated genes by more than 3 fold, while there showed some downregulated genes by less than 1/3 fold as follows: colony stimulating factor 2, CD122, IL-7, CD112, TNF-alpha, CD138, CD166, TGFbetaR2, CD42b, CD62L, CD111, interleukin 10 receptor alpha, colony stimulating factor 1(macrophage), CD38 antigen(p45), CD121a, CD33 antigen(gp67), colony stimulating factor 1 receptor, B cell linker protein (SLP65) mRNA, CD94, alanyl(membrane) aminopeptidase, immunoglobulin(CD79A) binding protein 1, CD205, CD241, CD207, CDw121b, integrin alpha L(CD11a), integrin beta 1(CD29), CD91, CD42b. Conclusions: Bee venom treatment induced downregulation of some CDs or cytokines including $TNF-{\alpha}$. IL-1R with its possible implication in an antiinflammatory action of BV. Further research on expression profile changes induced by BV treatment is expected.

BC3H-1 분화세포에서의 (Na,K)ATPase ${\alpha}_2$ isoform의 표현증대 (Increased Expression of the ${\alpha}_2$ Isoform of (Na,K)ATPase in the Differentiated Murine Muscle Cell Line BC3H-1)

  • The development of the alpha2 isoform of (Na,K)ATPase which is high affinity ouabain receptors was studied in the differentiating nonfusing muscle cell line BC3H-1. T he differentiation process of BC3H-1 cell line was confirmed by 2-dexy-D-[$^3$H] glucose uptake experiment and the quantity of the expression of ${\alpha}_2$ isoform was measured using a whole cell [$^3$H] ouabain-binding assay. Undifferentiated growing BC3H-1 cells, myoblasts, exhibited low levels of insulin-stimulated glucose uptake and [$^3$H] ouabain-binding sites. In contrast, differentiated BC3H-1 cells, myocytes, had a 5.6-fold increase in insulin-stimulated glucose uptake and 5-fold increase in [$^3$H] ouabain-binding sites. Scatchard analysis showed that myocytes developed more [$^3$H] ouabain-binding sites than myoblasts vath a dissociation constant (kd) of 6${\times}10^{-8}$M and capacity of 6.l${\times}10^{-5}$ sites/cell. Therefore. it seems that myoblasts express low levels of ${\alpha}_2$ subunit and probably the majority of ${\alpha}_1$ subunit, whereas myocytes express high levels of ${\alpha}_2$ isoform. The results indicate that the expression of ${\alpha}_2$ isoform is developmentally regulated during differentiation and that BC3H-1 culture system provides an excellent model for the study of differentiation and mechanism of (Na,K)ATPase action in muscle which requires electrical excitability.
