수중 공기방울의 선형 배열에 의한 음향 방출 (Acoustic radiation from a line array of bubbles in water)

  • 수중에서 공기방울들의 선형 배열에 의해 방출된 음향의 주파수 특성을 이론 및 실험적으로 살펴보았다. 공기방울들의 상호 작용을 고전적 조화진동자의 결합으로 다루었으며, 이론적으로 공기방울들의 선형 배열을 인접한 공기방울들간의 효과만을 고려한 유효 결합 조화진동자 모델로서 제안하였다. 공기방울 중심 사이의 거리가 공기방울 직경의 두 배가 넘는 약한 결합의 경우에 대해, 제안된 유효 결합 조화진동자 모델은 실험 결과들과 잘 일치함을 보여주었다.

  • To identify the locations and strengths of acoustic sources, one may use a microphone line array. Apparent advantage of the source identification method utilizing a line array is that it requires less measurement points than intensity method and holography. This method is based on the information of magnitude and phase difference between pressure signals at each microphone. Since those differences are dependent on the source model, we have to assume them such as plane, monopole, etc. In this paper the conventional source identification methods such as beamforming method and MUSIC method are briefly reviewed by modeling a source as plane and spherical wave, then a modified method is introduced. This can be applied to sound field which may by either coherent or incoherent. Typical simulations and experiment are performed to confirm this identification method.

Anisotropic Superomniphobic Wettability on Hierarchical Structures of Micro Line Array Combined with Fluorinated Wax (C24F50)

  • In recent years, researches about hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces have been executed however their other effects have not been researched enough. In this paper, the fabrication method of hierarchical structures of micro line array combined with fluorinated wax for anisotropic superomniphobic wettability is presented. We have achieved anisotropic and superomniphobic surface via simple two step methods, which are maskless photolithography and wax deposition. In order to prove how to provide those characteristics, SEM, contact angle measurement tool and X-ray diffraction are used. Fluorinated wax is crystalized self-assembly and it is subordinated on micro line array so that it is able to display anisotropic wettability. Understanding on anisotropic superomniphobic surface and simple fabrication method has been attracted to apply for lots of applications which range from self-cleaning surface, microfluidic chip, to directionally fluid control device, even in oily fluid.

누적 일괄추정 기법을 이용한 수동 선배열 소나 방위 주파수 - 표적기동분석 연구 (Study on Bearing and Frequency Target Motion Analysis for Passive Line Array SONAR Using Accumulative Batch Estimation)

  • Bearing and frequency measurements of TMA (Target Motion Analysis) in passive line array SONAR have lower bearing rate and frequency doppler, and are not detected or tracked continuously because of various ocean environments. This is a main reason to effect the TMA performance and it takes a long time to get TMA solutions. We propose the bearing and frequency TMA(BFTMA) using accumulative batch estimation to solve the TMA problem of line array passive SONAR. The accumulative batch estimation structure is based on MLE (Maximum Likelihood Estimation) but used accumulative measurements. The accumulative batch estimation is applied for the BFTMA with nonlinear Kalman filter to estimate the target range, speed and course. Simulation and sea data analysis were carried out to verify the performance and applicability of the proposed techniques.

  • Underwater acoustic noise measurement is an essential element for vulnerability assessment of modern naval platforms. But during the last few decades environmental conditions have drastically changed due to the gradually increasing sea ambient noise level and decreasing submarine radiated noise level. A real-time underwater acoustic measurement system with vertical line array is designed for the quiet submarine radiated noise assessment in challenging environment. This system has a constant directivity index in measurement frequency range and accurate tracking capability for the transmission loss compensation and navigation aids inside the submarine. This system has been validated at sea and used several times for the submarine noise measurement.

  • Pixel-Design Array Simulation Tool(PDAST) was used to profoundly the gate signal distortion and pixel changing capability, which are the most critical limiting factors for high-quality TFT-LCDs. Since PDAST can simulate the gate, data and pixel voltages of a certain pixel on TFT array at any time and at any location on an array, the effect of the resistivity of gate line material on the pixel operations can be effectively analyzed. The gate signal delay, pixel charging ratio, level-shift of the pixel voltage were simulated with varying the resis5tivity of the gate line material. The information obtained from this study could be utilized to design the larger area and finer image quality panel.

  • Incremental forming path to manufacture a thick concave steel plate using the line array roll set is designed. To find the optimum forming path, the forming processes are simulated by the finite element method. A general-purpose commercial software, MSC.MARC is used. The rolls are modeled as rigid surfaces and the thick plate is modeled as 8-node hexahedral elastic-plastic solid elements to predict accurate springback. It is found that the process can be successfully applied to the fabrication of the dual curvature ship hull plate

  • 측선 전체에 걸쳐 표토층이 두껍게 덮여 있어서 지질조사에 의한 단층의 확인이 용이하지 않은 두 지역에서 측선을 교차하는 단층의 위치와 그의 심부 발달 상태를 밝히고자 array CSAMT탐사를 수행하였다. 측선 직하부의 전기비저항 단면도에서 전기비저항 분포의 급격한 횡적 불연속을 나타내거나 또는 높은 함수율로 인해 어느 정도의 폭을 갖으며 저비저항대로 표출되는 부분을 단층 또는 단층파쇄대로 해석한 후, 이에 대한지질학적 증거를 확보하기 위하여 재차 지질조사를 수행하였다. 주변의 노출된 단층의 위치를 내$\cdot$외삽 하거나 단층으로 해석한 동일 위치에서 최근의 토목공사로 인해 우연히 노출된 단층의 증거를 확보하고 array CSAMT 탐사의 단층 조사에 대한 적용성을 확인할 수 있었다. 일부 측선에 대하여는 동일 측선에서 수행된 쌍극자-쌍극자배열 전기비저항탐사 결과를 array CSAMT 탐사 결과와 대비하여 단층 조사에 대한 양자의 적용성을 비교하였다.

  • Microstrip slot array antenna fed by microstrip line is introduced. Slot antenna is designed to operate at 10 GHz for using in radar systems. Antenna have dielectric constant of the substrate is 2.17 (PTFE). In fact, it is study to analyze slot array antenna including feeding line with wide bandwidth. The characteristics of antenna is proposed and analyzed for instance input impedance, $S_{11}$ parameter and far field radiation patterns which these characteristics can also be calculated efficiently and accurately by using FDTD Method.

혼안테나를 결합한 고 이득 도파관 배열 안테나 설계 (The Design of High Gain Waveguide Array Antenna Combining Horn Antenna)

  • In this paper, a high gain waveguide array antenna combining horn antenna on slot radiator was designed. And the fabricated antenna showed enough gain, improved efficiency and broadband characteristics for receiving satellite signals, compare to conventional microstrip antenna which has dielectric loss and radiation loss on transmission line. For easy fabrication, the waveguide structure was composed by 3-stages of radiator, signal coupler and transmission line. By experiment, the array waveguide antenna of 4 by 16 showed 28.3[dBi] gain and 2:1 of VSWR. And by combining horn antenna structure, the gain was increased 1[dB]. The received signal from Koreasat 6 by measurement showed 16[dBc] of C/N on BS(Broadcasting Satellite)-band and 14[dBc] of C/N on CS(Communication Satellite)-band.
