This study scarcity of recent online message promotion limited quantity of messages and time the message is limited controlled variable message whose regulatory focus and promotional discounts depending on the presence of any differences in attitudes and purchase intention appears, was to verify empirically. The results of this study, first, if limited quantity of messages focus on prevention rather than focusing on messages promoting promotion attitudes and purchase intention was higher. Second, the scarcity message is simply, as well as adjust the focus, such as price discounts and promotional activities can be controlled by a variety of points were identified. If the message is particularly limited quantity discounts are not present, rather than the message, the message is presented when the discount promotional attitudes and purchase intention, except that the amplification has been demonstrated. If the message is limited time, however, these discounts are worth the extra promotion on attitudes and purchase intentions are least likely to affect the thing that was found.
Background : A clinical study was carried out on 153 new cases with small cell lung cancer registered at Presbyterian Medical Center, Chonju during the 7 years from 1986 to 1992. They were analyzed by sex and age distribution, symptoms and signs, classification of stage and site and its treatments. Especially, an effort was made to compare the overall survival time between limited stage and extensive stage. Methods : Among 806 lung cancer patients diagnosed by biopsy or cytologic evaluation for the 7 years, 153 patients was shown small cell lung cancer. These 153 cases was analyzed retrospectivery through patient's records, letters or telephones. Results : The results of evaluation of small cell lung cancer are as follows. Over 85 percent of the small cell lung cancer patients were over 50 years of age and prominent clinical features were cough(86.3%), sputum(75.8%) and dyspnea(54.9%). One hundred and five patients(68.7%) was staged to have limited stage. Mean survival time of the chemotherapy and chemoradiotherapy in limited stage has significant difference and its survivals are 5.3 months and 15.0 months. Patients whose disease was staged as limited, regardless of whether or not chemotherapy was administered, had a median survival time of 10.9 months, compared with 4.8 months for those with extensive stage. Conclusion : Lung cancer is one of the malignant diseases tend to increase gradually in Korea and proven to be the most common cancer next to the gastric cancer among various cancers in males found at the Presbyterian Medical Center in the past seven years. This report is a retrospective view of the clinical therapeutic results of the small cell lung cancer patients. Especially at the limited stage, the combined therapy revealed higher survival rate than the chemotherapy alone. For a more accurate evaluation. a prospective view, without any bias, of patients selected at random is needed.

In fact, asynchronous motors are used widely. Asynchronous motors which have large power (compared to the source supplies) is needed to start them in various methods. The theory of application reduced voltage to motor's stator or variable resistor fed rotor for the purpose of altering the motor's torque and power consumption characteristics is an idea that has existed for many years. These concepts have flourished mainly due to the need to limit torque and limited generator/power distribution capabilities. However, how can know exactly the time of switching steps with different types of motors as well as load characteristics is very difficult. This paper focuses on the design and development mathematical models of motor[1][2], load, ACB, asynchronous machine and then is implemented in SIMULINK in order to calculate this time, special on ships where power generation station is limited. The simulation results are both compared and discussed in detail so that it can apply to conclude the most suitable and applicable starting time for new system with various motors and load.

In e-Trade, Real-Time System(RTS) plays a very important role. Each task is set with limited time, and appointed regulations must be followed because it can be greatly damaged if it cannot be executed in limited time. In e-Trade, the scheduling possibility techniques generally use periodical tasks; however, it is necessary to study more stable prediction scheduling possibility algorithm by using other task timing conditions and non-periodical task scheduling tasks. This study proposed an algorithm to increase the prediction possibility using individual task utilization rate, and presented scheduling possibility conditions using existing whole task utilization rate and the proposed algorithm.
Background: Research efforts to improve the pulmonary function of people with limited chest function have focused on the diaphragmatic ability to control breathing pattern. Real-time ultrasonography is appropriate to demonstrate diaphragmatic mechanism during breathing. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of diaphragmatic breathing training using real-time ultrasonographic imaging (RUSI) on the chest function of young females with limited chest mobility. Methods: Twenty-six subjects with limited chest mobility were randomly allocated to the experimental group (EG) and control group (CG) depending on the use of RUSI during diaphragmatic breathing training, with 13 subjects in each group. For both groups, diaphragmatic breathing training was performed for 30-min, including three 10-min sets with a 1-min rest interval. An extra option for the EG was the use of the RUSI during the training. Outcome measures comprised the diaphragmatic excursion range during quiet and deep breathing, pulmonary function (forced vital capacity; FVC, forced expiratory volume in 1-sec; FEV1, tidal volume; TV, and maximal voluntary ventilation; MVV), and chest circumferences at upper, middle, and lower levels. Results: The between-group comparison revealed that the diaphragmatic excursion range during deep breathing, FVC, and middle and lower chest circumferences were greater at post-test and that the changes between the pretest and post-test values were greater in the EG than in the CG (p<.05). In addition, the subjects in the EG showed increased post-test values for all the variables compared with the pretest values, except for TV and MVV (p<.05). In contrast, the subjects in the CG showed significant improvements for the diaphragmatic excursion range during quiet and deep breathings, FVC, FEV1, and middle and lower chest circumferences after the intervention (p<.05). Conclusion: These results indicate that using RUSI during diaphragmatic breathing training might be more beneficial for people with limited chest mobility than when diaphragmatic breathing training is used alone.
Convergence difficulty and available complete measurement information have been considered as two primary challenges for the identification of large-scale engineering structures. In this paper, a time domain substructural identification approach by combining a weighted adaptive iteration (WAI) algorithm and an extended Kalman filter method with a weighted global iteration (EFK-WGI) algorithm was proposed for simultaneous identification of physical parameters of concerned substructures and unknown external excitations applied on it with limited response measurements. In the proposed approach, according to the location of the unknown dynamic loadings and the partially available structural response measurements, part of structural parameters of the concerned substructure and the unknown loadings were first identified with the WAI approach. The remaining physical parameters of the concerned substructure were then determined by EFK-WGI basing on the previously identified loadings and substructural parameters. The efficiency and accuracy of the proposed approach was demonstrated via a 20-story shear building structure and 23 degrees of freedom (DOFs) planar truss model with unknown external excitation and limited observations. Results show that the proposed approach is capable of satisfactorily identifying both the substructural parameters and unknown loading within limited iterations when both the excitation and dynamic response are partially unknown.

We consider the transportation problem of optimizing the use of trailers and tractors. Several variants with fixed loading and unloading time are discussed. We show that the variant requiring on-time delivery can be solved in polynomial time, whereas the other variant requiring time-window delivery is NP-hard. We also discuss that if the number of loading and unloading operations assigned to each trailer or tractor is limited, even the variant requiring on-time delivery becomes NP-hard.

In Manufacturing using time-based strategies, as a competitive advantage, time is the equivalent of productivity, quality, innovation. In addition, time-based sourcing's impact on competiveness is not limited to cost control but also influences the performance of its adoption. This paper is to examine the relation between the level of time-recognition and supporting and performance of time-based sourcing by the empirical study.

In a ubiquitous environment made up of multiple sensors, most sensors participate in communications with limited battery, and the sensor node isn't able to participate in communications when all the battery is used up. When an existing authentication method is used for the sensor node which has to participate in a long term communication with limited battery, it creates a problem by making the length of network maintenance or sensor node's operation time relatively shorte. Therefore, a network structure where RM (Register Manager) node and AM (Authentication Manager) node are imported to solve the energy consumption problem during a communication process is presented in this thesis. This offers a low power protocol based on safety through a mutual authentication during communications. Through registration and authentication manager nodes, each sensor nodes are ensured of safety and the algorithm of key's generation, encryption/descramble and authentication is processed with faster operation speed. So the amount of electricity used up during the communications between sensor nodes has been evaluated. In case of the amount of electrical usage, an average of $34.783\%$ for the same subnet and 36.855 for communications with two different subnets, are reduced. The proposed method is a protocol which maintains the limited battery for a long time to increase the effectiveness of energy usage in sensor nodes and can also increase the participation rate of communication by sensor nodes.

The transform limited optical short pulses are generated by compression of pulses from a gain switched distributed feedback laser at 5 GHz repetition rate. The gain-switched pulses have the minimum pulse width of 27 psec with the spectral width of 1.1 nm. Thus the output pulses have a large amount of linear chirp and nonlinear chirp. We suppress the nonlinear chirp by passing the pulses through the optical band pass filter with 3 dB band width of 0.55 nm which is narrower than spectral width of the input pulses and generate 7.1 psec pulses by compressing the output with the dispersion compensating fiber. The pulses have time-bandwidth product of 0.49 which is close to the transform limited gaussian pulse. These pulses can be utilized as optical sources in 40 Gbit/s time division multiplexed optical transmission system.
