The cloud environment need resource management method that to enable the big data issue and data analysis technology. Existing resource management uses the limited calculation method, therefore concentrated the resource bias problem. To solve this problem, the resource management requires the learning-based scheduling using resource history information. In this paper, we proposes the ART (Adaptive Resonance Theory)-based adaptive resource management. Our proposed method assigns the job to the suitable method with the resource monitoring and history management in cloud computing environment. The proposed method utilizes the unsupervised learning method. Our goal is to improve the data processing and service stability with the adaptive resource management. The propose method allow the systematic management, and utilize the available resource efficiently.
In-band wireless full-duplex is a promising technology that enables a wireless node to transmit and receive at the same time on the same frequency band. Due to the complexity of self-interference cancellation techniques, only base stations (BSs) are expected to be full-duplex capable while user terminals remain as legacy half-duplex nodes in the near future. In this case, two different nodes share a single subchannel, one for uplink and the other for downlink, which causes inter-node interference between them. In this paper, we investigate the joint problem of subchannel assignment and power allocation in a single-cell full-duplex orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) network considering the inter-node interference. Specifically, we consider two different scenarios: i) The BS knows full channel state information (CSI), and ii) the BS obtains limited CSI through channel feedbacks from nodes. In the full CSI scenario, we design sequential resource allocation algorithms which assign subchannels first to uplink nodes and then to downlink nodes or vice versa. In the limited CSI scenario, we identify the overhead for channel measurement and feedback in full-duplex networks. Then we propose a novel resource allocation scheme where downlink nodes estimate inter-node interference with low complexity. Through simulation, we evaluate our approaches for full and limited CSIs under various scenarios and identify full-duplex gains in various practical scenarios.

Since a construction project is a series of works that utilizes resources to accomplish the project goal for a given time period, efficient resource management is a prerequisite for the success of the project. Two major areas of resource management are resource constrained scheduling focusing on the limited resource availability and resource leveling focusing on smoothing resource usage pattern on the fixed project completion time. It is not available, however, to apply both techniques to a project at the same time. This paper proposes a model to enhance the minimum moment algorithm of resource leveling, aiming to find an efficient usage of resources and an appropriate project completion time. A survey is performed to evaluate the major five factors using the AHP.

There are considerable concern on the methods for the efficient utilization of the test-resources as increasing of the number of the tests for functionality and performance verification of weapon systems. Furthermore, with an increase in the complexity of the resource assignment the decision support is required. Test resource allocation is basically the same problems as conventional NP-hard FJSP(Flexible Job Shop Problem), therefore empirical test resource allocation method that has been used in many decades is limited in the time performance. Although research has been conducted applying the genetic algorithm to the FJSP, it is limited in the test resource allocation domain in which more than one machine is necessary for a single operation. In this paper, a variable group genetic algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is expected to improve the test plan efficiency by automating and optimizing the existing manual based allocation. The simulation result shows that the algorithm could be applicable to the test plan.

Many telecommunication operators around the world have multiple networks. The networks run by each operator are always of different generations, such as 2G and 3G or even 4G systems. Each system has unique characters and specified requirements for optimal operation. It brings about resource allocation problem among these networks for the operator, because the budget of each operator is limited. However, the evaluation of resource allocation among various networks under each operator is missing for long, not to mention resource allocation optimization. The operators are dying for an algorithm to end their blind resource allocation, and the Resource Allocation Optimization Algorithm for Multi-network Operator (RAOAMO) proposed in this paper is what the operators want. RAOAMO evaluates and optimizes resource allocation in the view of overall cost for each operator. It outputs a resource distribution target and corresponding optimization suggestion. Evaluation results show that RAOAMO helps operator save overall cost in various cases.

Resource sharing is one of the main goals achieved by network virtualization technology to enhance network resource utilization and enable resource customization. Though resource sharing can improve network efficiency by accommodating various users in a network, limited infrastructure capacity is still a challenge to ultra-low latency service operators. In this paper, we propose an inter-slice resource borrowing schema based on the device-to-device (D2D) potentiality especially for ultra-low latency transmission in cellular networks. An extended and modified Kuhn-Munkres bipartite matching algorithm is developed to optimally achieve inter-slice resource borrowing. Simulation results show that, proper D2D user matching can be achieved, satisfying ultra-low latency (ULL) users' quality of service (QoS) requirements and resource utilization in various scenarios.

Nowadays, an explosive increase of mobile devices has triggered a lot of research into radio resource management. Therefore, many studies have been done and still underway to use this limited resource efficiently. However, most of the existing studies focused on efficiency in mac layer. In this paper, I proposed a timer to manage radio resource, which refreshes the timer's values based on the number of connections dynamically. This dynamic timer enables Base Station (BS) to be able to manage available radio resources efficiently and accommodate much more Mobile Stations (MSs). Simulation result showed that BS with dynamic timer could accommodate the MS about 30% more, compared with BS with a static timer in terms of radio resource management. Dynamic timer is not restricted to any specific network standard. So its mechanism is practical and implementable without changing the original standard, which can contribute to service providers by increasing capability that BS can support.

Target motion analysis with a sonar system in general uses a regular sampling time and thus obtains regular target information regardless of the target maneuver status. This often results in overconsumption of the limited sonar resources. We propose two methods of the IMM(interacting Multiple Model) PDAF algorithm for sonar resource management to improve target motion analysis performance and to save sonar resources in this paper. In the first method, two different process noise covariance which are used as mode sets are combined based on probability. In the second method, resource time which are processed from two mode sets is calculated based on probability and then considered as update time at next step. Performance of the proposed algorithms are compared with the other algorithms by a series of Monte Carlo simulation.
Large-scale cultivation of Microcystis aeruginosa in different light conditions was conducted for verifying the cell growth in a greenhouse system. Environmental and chemical parameters of the large-scale culture medium were measured for analyzing the interaction between M. aeruginosa and its symbiotic bacteria. During cultivation, a difference in cell growth pattern was observed between control (natural light) and light-limited groups (reduction of blue, green, and blue/green light, respectively). Comparing the control group, the light reduced groups showed slow and delayed cell growth through the cultivation period. Also, there is differences in the consuming pattern of total nitrogen and total phosphorus which indicated that the possibility of interaction between M. aeruginosa and symbiotic bacteria.

The fifth generation (5G) mobile communication technology is designed to meet all communication needs. Heterogeneous networks (HetNets) are a new emerging network structure. HetNets have greater potential for radio resource reuse and better service quality than homogeneous networks since they can evolve small cells into macrocells. Effective resource allocation techniques reduce inter-user interference while optimizing the utilization of limited spectrum resources in HetNets. This article discusses resource allocation in 5G HetNets. This paper explains HetNets and how they work. Typical cell types in HetNets are summarized. Also, HetNets models are explained in the third section. The fourth component addresses radio resource control and mobility management. Moreover, future study in this subject may benefit from this article's significant insights on how HetNets function.
