부채꼴 요소법을 이용한 3 차원 도자기 모델링 (Pottery Modeling Using Circular Sector Element Method)

  • 이 논문에서는 부채꼴 모양을 가진 요소의 집합으로 3 차원 도자기 모델을 구성하고 사용자가 촉감을 느끼면서 가상공간의 도자기를 제작할 수 있도록 하는 새로운 모델을 제안한다. 변형체를 다루기 위해 기존에 사용하던 유한 요소법(finite element method)과 같은 방법은 모델이 복잡하고 연산량이 많아 실시간 햅틱 렌더링(haptic rendering)에 사용하기에는 많은 제약이 있다. 제안한 모델에서는 도자기 모양의 특징에 착안하여 부채꼴 모양을 가진 요소들이 원통 형태로 모여 쌓여있는 구조를 이용하였다. 이를 통해 요소의 개수를 줄이고 복잡한 연산을 최대한 단순화면서 효율적인 모델링이 가능하도록 하였다.

신경회로망을 이용한 공압 서보실린더의 운동제어 (Motion Control of Pneumatic Servo Cylinder Using Neural Network)

  • This paper describes a Neural Network based PD control scheme for motion control of pneumatic servo cylinder. Pneumatic systems have inherent nonlinearities such as compressibility of air and nonlinear frictions present in cylinder. The conventional linear controller is limited in some applications where the affection of nonlinear factor is dominant. A self-excited oscillation method is applied to derive the dynamic design parameters of linear model. Based on the parameters thus identified, a PD feedback compensator is designed first and then a neural network is incorporated. The experiments of a trajectory tracking control using the proposed control scheme are performed and a significant reduction in tracking error is achieved by comparing with those of a PD control.

  • 다중사용자 다중안테나 시스템은 높은 성능 이득을 가지기 때문에 현재 활발히 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 다중사용자 시스템은 필연적으로 간섭이 발생하게 된다. 송신단이 각 수신단의 채널 정보를 완전히 알면 기존의 간섭제거 기법으로 완벽히 간섭을 제거할 수 있지만 제한된 피드백 환경에서는 그럴 수 없다. 제한된 피드백 환경에서는 채널을 양자화 해야 되는데 양자화 기법으로는 벡터 양자화와 스칼라 양자화 기법이 있다. 일반적으로는 벡터 양자화가 스칼라 양자화 보다 성능이 더 좋다고 알려져 있다. 본 논문에서는 벡터 양자화와 스칼라 양자화의 성능을 비교하고 그 차이가 어느 정도 되는 지 실험결과를 통해서 알아보겠다.

  • A conceptual system dynamics model is developed to represent the dynamic mechanism between the number of hepatitis B virus and the defense system of the body. The simulation results shows that the model behaves within the reasonable ranges. The developed conceptual model is a first attempt to quantify the dynamic mechanisms of the hepatitis B virus, where only feedback structures are considered without bio-organism data. The next step would be to incorporate the model with bio-organism theory and to carry out case studies to identify personal characteristics. Since the current model is a conceptual model where quantitative results are not based on the sound background, the usage is limited only within the qualitative basis. It could be a effective educational tool for the patients. It also shows what-to-do lists in order to be used for forecast purposes.

  • Mordern Ocean-going ships utilize stabilization techniques in order to minimize the effects of oscillations due to the unwanted disturbances. In this paper, as an elementary design of automatic control system with linear-state vari;tble feedback and series compensator for ship stabilization, analysis and design is limited to the linear time-invariant single input and output system. In order for the Controlled system to meet the requirements of stability, accuracy and transient response, a model of the automatic control system is proposed. For the analysis and design of this model, the state-space method, that is, the mordern way, or an alternative to the transfer function method of describing a linear system that utilize the state variables and state equations, is applied.

Transmit Antenna Selection for Multi-user MIMO Precoding Systems with Limited Feedback

  • Transmit antenna selection techniques are prominent since they exploit the spatial selectivity at the transmitter side. In the literature, antenna selection techniques assume full knowledge of the channel state information (CSI). In this paper, we consider that the CSI is not perfectly known at the transmitter; however, a quantized version of the channel coefficients is fed back by the users. We employ the non-uniform Lloyd-Max quantization algorithm which takes into consideration the distribution of the channel coefficients. Simulation results show that the degradation in the BER of the system with imperfect CSI at the transmitter is tolerable, especially when the transmit diversity order is high.

  • DC motor is easy to control and can make torque easily. DC motor uses wide range. But DCmotor have limited by using a brush and structural complexity. But, BLDC doesn't have brush so that is more simple than DC motor, and the rotor of BLDC motor is made by permanent magnet that dose not need to make a fixed flux speed for flux current. BLDC motor is very efficiency, controllable, and reliable. This paper presents an error detection with a BLDC motor current. Generally, BLDC motor current is used to current feedback, so that can make a critical fault in the system. this paper suggests to detect error by inspection of threshold current value both positive and negative.

  • Though several previous anti-windup techniques have been proposed, they are limited to linear systems or friction is not considered. Thus this paper proposes a compensation scheme for input-constrained robot systems with friction to cope with the windup phenomenon and shows its effectiveness by simulations. Given a feedback linearizing controller for a robot system designed without considering its input constraint, an additional dynamic compensator is proposed to account for the constraint. The dynamic anti-windup is based on the minimization of a reasonable performance index, and properties of the resulting closed-loop are presented.

  • DS대역확산 통신 수신기의 성능은 디지털 백색화 여파기를 사용하여 개선시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 출력의 hard-limiter에서 검출한 신호를 입력으로 궤환시켜 간섭과 잡음성분만을 백색화하는 디지털 궤환 백색화 여파기를 제안하고 여파기의 계수계산 방법에 관하여 기술하였다. SNR과 BER에 관한 식을 유도하였으며 종래의 디지털 백색화 여파기와 비교하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과 오율특성은 종래의 방식에 비해 크게 향상된 것으로 나타났다.

Transmit Antenna Selection for Quadrature Spatial Modulation Systems with Power Allocation

  • We consider transmit antenna selection combined with power allocation for quadrature spatial modulation (QSM) systems to improve the error rate performance. The Euclidean distance-based joint optimization criterion is presented for transmit antenna selection and power allocation in QSM. It requires an exhaustive search and thus high computational complexity. Thus its reduced-complexity algorithm is proposed with a strategy of decoupling, which is employed to successively find transmit antennas and power allocation factors. First, transmit antennas are selected without considering power allocation. After selecting transmit antennas, power allocation factors are determined. Simulation results demonstrate considerable performance gains with lower complexity for transmit antenna selected QSM systems with power allocation, which can be achieved with limited rate feedback.
