미디어파사드를 적용한 건축외관조명의 평가구조 추출 및 이미지 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Evaluation Construct Model Extraction of Building Exterior Lighting applying Media Facade and Image Evaluation)

  • In this study, we derive an evaluation structure and 18 Valuation vocabulary for the media facade lighting conditions. In addition, this study deduced the applicable elements that could be applied in time of building nightscape lighting design using media facade by conducting affective evaluation. The research results are as follows: It was found that the image axis of "Dynamic, Colorful" showed the lighting change speed was fast with diverse application of lighting color, and its evaluation object applied by general emphasis, vertical emphasis, partial emphasis lighting method was highly assessed. In addition, it was found that "Luxurious, Unusual" axis showed lighting change speed was slow with the application of lighting color in warm hue series, and its evaluation object applied by line lighting, dot lighting, general emphasis lighting methods was highly assessed. Lastly, it was found that "Soft, Secure" image axis showed the lighting change speed was slow with the application of pastel tone lighting color, and the evaluation object applied by general emphasis lighting method was highly assessed.

  • Recently medical facilities that can help to heal the interpretation have evolved as a healing space. Accordingly, the patient's emotional, psychological and social ward plan to meet the needs of the patient to recover is important. The medical team is also related to the nature of human life, so they are experiencing high stress levels compared to other professionals. However, most places don't consider the user's psychological behavior. The purpose of this study is to build user-friendly lighting environment using LED lighting. LED lighting is easy to adjust illuminance and color temperature, and it is can be implemented in the medical area.

  • In consideration for evaluating urban lighting plan as culture of a society, preparing lighting plan while designing urban plan is a fundamental process. This study proposes a methodology, maintaining and embossing urban throughout preparing a long-term urban lighting plan considering overall urban space as well as improving competitive power for lighting to take an important role in total environmental design project.

지능형 LED 점등시스템을 위한 점등제어 알고리즘 설계 (Design of Lighting Control Algorithm for Intelligent LED Lighting System)

  • 본 논문에서는 지능형 LED 점등시스템을 위한 점등제어 알고리즘 설계를 제안한다. 제안하는 점등제어 알고리즘은 각각의 센서노드에서 감지된 환경정보를 데이터 버스를 통해 MCU에 전송한다. MCU의 제어 소프트웨어는 설정된 제어방식에 따라 신호 값을 이용하여 조광레벨을 계산하고 결과를 비교하여 레벨유지를 결정하도록 설계하였다. 또한 LED 조명기기에 점등제어 알고리즘을 이용하여 완전대칭 되는 패턴생성에 의하여 회전 및 반전 기법을 주기적으로 교차 수행하여 점등되도록 설계하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 점등제어 알고리즘은 안정적으로 점등제어를 하는 시스템을 설계하여 전송 데이터의 신뢰성을 높이고 91%의 이벤트 전달 비율을 유지하였다. 또한, 조명기기의 광속은 32% 감소되었고 소비전력은 49% 감소되었으며 발열량은 32% 감소되었다. 결과적으로 LED의 수명은 50% 증가되어 에너지 효율성을 향상할 수 있었다.

태양광 발전을 이용한 하이브리드 도로조명 점등제어 시스템 설계 (The Hybrid Road Lighting Control System Design using Solar-Light Generation)

  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전을 이용한 하이브리드 도로조명 제어 시스템 설계를 제안한다. 제안하는 하이브리드 도로조명 점등제어 시스템은 태양광 발전을 이용하여 하이브리드 컨트롤러를 통해 전원을 공급하고 도로조명을 점등제어가 가능하도록 설계한다. 전력 부족시 상시전력을 공급하도록 제어하고 인체 감지시 자동 조명 제어가 되도록 게이트웨이는 도로조명에 zigbee를 이용하여 제어명령을 전송한다. 미리 설정해 놓은 타임 스케줄에 의해 시스템의 상태를 결정하고 동작시키는 점등제어 알고리즘을 적용한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 하이브리드 도로조명 점등제어 시스템의 효율성 분석결과, 등주 당 하루에 129.6W의 전력소비를 하였고 1개월간 3.8KW, 연간 47.3KW를 소비하였다. 결과적으로 기존의 점등제어 시스템보다 76.2%의 전력소비량 감소와 76.8%의 전력요금이 감소되어 에너지 효율을 높일 수 있었다.

개폐 개념의 높이 조절이 가능한 광선반 개발 연구 - 외부조도에 따른 광선반 성능평가 중심으로 (Research of the Development of a Height-adjustable light-shelf based on an Open and Closed Concept - Focusing on the light-shelf Performance Evaluation Depending on the External Illumination-)

  • Purpose: With the increase in the energy consumption in the building sector, many studies have recently been conducted to address this issue. Due to its efficiency, diverse studies on a light-shelf, which is a natural lighting system, are in progress. However, there has been no research on the external illumination that determines the performance of a light-shelf. Therefore, the present study aimed to prepare the external illumination standard for securing the lighting performance of a light-shelf through the light-shelf performance evaluation based on a 1:1 scale testbed, and to suggest a height-adjustable light-shelf based on an open and closed concept for the case in which the lighting performance of the light-shelf significantly deteriorates, by collecting the external illumination. Method: In this study, a 1:1 scale testbed was established for performance evaluation, and the external illumination standard for securing the performance of the light-shelf was prepared by comparing the lighting performance of the light-shelf depending on the open and closed condition of the light-shelf and the external illumination. Result: 1) In this study, a light-shelf that can be opened or closed depending on the external illumination was suggested. As a result, the prospect right can be secured by creating the condition where there is no light-shelf installation by moving the light-shelf to the top of the window when the lighting performance is not secured. 2) In the summer solstice, the external illuminations appropriate for lighting energy reduction were more than 75,000 lx and 60,000 lx for the light-shelf width of 0.3 m and 0.6 m, respectively. 3) In the intermediate period, the external illumination appropriate for lighting energy reduction was 60,000 lx. In the winter solstice, making the condition where there is no light-shelf installation by closing the light-shelf would be appropriate. 4) Based on the aforementioned results, the external illumination standard for the opening and closing of the height-adjustable light-shelf based on an open and closed concept suggested in this study was 60,000 lx, and the light-shelf with a width of 0.6 m would be advantageous for lighting energy reduction.

  • Beauty of balance, can be found in antique furniture of the Joseon Dynasty. Balance, give comfort and peace of mind to people. Even today, the balance in various fields, it is easily viewed, and an important one element indispensable in the design. Various lighting is an essential element of the interior to create an atmosphere of space. It is also useful in a variety of ways for beauty, emotional effect, such as the switching of visual atmosphere. This design was designed with the concept of balanced. In addition, I have applied a simple graphic appearance. To give the fun and tension while giving it a well-balanced when you meet the figure. The design of this study is nothing more than a single direction. It will be in the traveling direction of the future as a designer by using a simple structure and phenomena that appear in life, is given to the design without the feeling of rejection to the user.

Simulation and Comparison of the Lighting Efficiency for Household Illumination with LEDs and Fluorescent Lamps

  • The design of the LEDs lighting in general household illumination was proposed and compared with the fluorescent lighting in this study. Using the LED as a light source would promote energy saving lighting for household illumination purposes. We used the LightTools and DIALux software to design and simulate different standards of illuminance, different correlated color temperatures and different color rendering indices for household environments. The power consumption and efficiency of traditional illuminated light sources and an LED light source with the same standard of illuminance for lighting the household environment were analyzed and compared with each other. Finally, our results show the advantages of using white-light LEDs for lighting and household illumination.

교류 LED 조명의 빛 밝기 편차를 최소화하는 방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on How to Minimize the Luminance Deviation of AC-LED Lighting)

  • In order to spread LED lighting, LED lighting technology directly driven by alternating current (AC) commercial power has recently been introduced. Since current does not flow at a voltage lower than the threshold voltage of the LED, a non-conductive section occurs in the current waveform, and the higher the threshold voltage of the LED, the more discontinuous current waveforms are generated. In this paper, multi-LED modules are connected in series so that the threshold voltage can be adjusted according to the number of LED modules. A small number of LED modules are driven at a low instantaneous rectified voltage, and a large number of LED modules are driven at a high instantaneous rectified voltage to lengthen the overall lighting time of AC-LED lighting, thereby minimizing the luminance deviation of AC-LED lighting. In addition, the load current flowing through the LED module is adjusted to be the same as the design current even at the maximum rectified voltage higher than the design voltage, so that the light brightness of the LED module is kept constant. Therefore, even if the rectified voltage applied to the LED module changes, the AC-LED lighting in which the light brightness is constant and the luminance deviation is minimal has been realized.

한국·중국·일본의 도시경관조명 현황 및 정책 분석 - 서울, 상하이, 요코하마를 중심으로 - (An Analysis on the Outdoor Lighting Situation and Policies in Korea, China, Japan - focused on Seoul, Shanghai, Yokohama-)

  • It is required impressive expression of urban night environment that makes city as the safe pleasant, convenient place for the economic activity, cultural pleasure and landmarks. This study aims to establish the proper direction to the outdoor lighting in Seoul by analyzing and comparing the lighting situation and policies among Seoul, Shanghai and Yokohama. 1986 Asian Game and 1988 Olympic Game became very important role of activation of outdoor lighting in Korea. Then, outdoor lighting were facilitated in the cultural heritages and bridges along Han river. Millenium Light Plan, Outdoor Lighting Field of Seoul Architectural Award, 2002 Lightscape Local Plan, hosting 2002 World Cup have been good opportunities for the improvement of outdoor lighting in Seoul. In China, outdoor lighting was introduced to the city of Shanghai according to the orders of the president in 1988. Outdoor lighting of Shanghai have created unique lighting with beautiful color and intensive brightness under the direction of city government. Outdoor lighting of Shanghai needs the standard of lighting design and improvement of lighting facilities. Outdoor lighting was introduced to Japan with 1964 Tokyo Olympic games. Urban outdoor lighting plan was carried out in Yokohama in 1986. In Yokohama, outdoor lighting of civilian and public facilities have been harmonized. And the city government of Yokohama established the committee of promotion of outdoor lighting in its government to support and manage the outdoor lighting with corporation of civilian organization. As the result of comparative analysis on Seoul, Shanghai, Yokohama, Seoul Metropolitan Government needs the criteria and incentive system of outdoor lighting.
