차량인증모드와 실도로 주행모드별 국내 경유 소형화물 자동차의 온실가스 배출특성 분석 (A Study of Greenhouse Gas Emission Rates from LDTs according to Emission Certification Modes and Real-World Vehicle Driving Cycles in Korea)

  • 자동차 분야는 온실가스 배출량의 상당 부분을 차지하는 주요 배출원으로써, 우리나라는 온실가스 저감을 위하여 2020년까지 교통부문에서는 BAU 대비 34.3%를 감축하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이러한 목표달성을 위하여 2012년부터 자동차 온실가스 배출기준을 적용하고 있으며, 차기 온실가스 배출기준을 마련하는데 있어 소형 화물차량에 대한 대상차종 포함 여부가 검토되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 경유 소형화물 자동차를 대상으로 주행모드에 따른 온실가스 배출특성을 분석하였다. 차속모드인 NIER 모드를 이용하여 분석한 결과, 자동차 온실가스 배출량은 차속이 증가할수록 감소하는 반비례 경향을 나타내었으며, $CO_2$의 경우 일정차속(65.4 km/h) 이상의 고속구간에서는 배출량이 증가하였다. 자동차 주행거리에 따른 온실가스 배출량 증가는 나타나지 않았으며, 각국의 온실가스 배출량 측정모드를 적용한 결과, 유럽에서 적용하고 있는 NEDC 모드에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한, 복합모드 시험 시 $CO_2$ 배출이 CVS-75 모드에 비하여 8% NEDC 모드에 비하여 14% 적게 나타났다.

  • In this study, the trucks(2.9-liter) have been developed to use DME as fuel, and performance test of the vehicle's DME engine, power, emissions, fuel economy and vehicle aspects was conducted. For experiments, the fuel system(common-rail injectors and high-pressure pump included) and the engine control logic was developed, and ECU mapping was performed. As a result, the rail pressure from 40MPa to approximately 65% increase compared to the base injector has been confirmed that. Also, the pump discharge flow is 15.5 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 400rpm(40MPa), and the pump discharge flow is 92.1 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 2,000rpm(40MPa). The maximum value of full-load torque capability is 25.5 kgfm(based on 2,000 rpm), and more than 90% compared to the level of the diesel engine were obtained. The DME vehicle was developed in this study, 120 km/h can drive to the stable, and calculated in accordance with the carbon-balance method of fuel consumptions is 5.7 km/L.

선택적환원촉매를 적용한 중소형 경유차량의 질소산화물 저감 특성 연구 (A Study on $NO_x$ Reduction in a Light Duty Diesel Vehicle Equipped with a SCR Catalyst)

  • To reach the Euro-6 regulations of PM and $NO_x$ for light-duty diesel vehicles, it will be necessary to apply the CDPF and the de-$NO_x$ catalyst. The described system consists of a catalytic configuration, where the CDPF is placed downstream of the diesel engine and followed by a urea injection unit and a urea-SCR catalyst. One of the advantages of this system configuration is that, in this way, the SCR catalyst is protected from PM, and both white PM and deposits become reduced. In the urea-SCR system, the injection control of reductant is the most important thing in order to have good performance of $NO_x$ reduction. The ideal ratio of $NH_3$ molecules to $NO_x$ molecules is 1:1 based on $NH_3$ consumption and having $NH_3$ available for reaction of all of the exhaust $NO_x$. However, under the too low and too high temperature condition, the $NO_x$ reduction efficiency become slower, due to temperature window of SCR catalyst. And space velocity also affects to $NO_x$ conversion efficiency. In this paper, rig-tests were performed to evaluate the effects of $NO_x$ and $NH_3$ concentrations, gas temperature and space velocity on the $NO_x$ conversion efficiency of the urea-SCR system. And vehicle test was performed to verify control strategy of reductatnt injection. The developed control strategy of reductant injection was improved over all $NO_x$ reduction efficiency and $NH_3$ consumption in urea-SCR system. Results of this paper contribute to develop urea-SCR system for light-duty vehicles to meet Euro-5 emission regulations.

  • The regulation of the $CO_2$ emit from vehicles have become much more stringent in recent years. This stringent regulation is more request vehicle manufacturers to develop the alternative fuel vehicles for reducing exhaust emissions. LPG fuel is more clean energy compares with gasoline and diesel fuel. Especially, $CO_2$ emission of LPG Vehicle is less than gasoline vehicle and almost equal to diesel vehicle. For this reason, recently korean government is extending LPG fuel for hybrid car and light duty vehicle. In domestic, Propane is mixing $15{\sim}30%$ to butane for improvement of cold start at winter season. Therefore, In this paper was investigated that the characteristics of emissions according to propane mixing rate with 0, 10, 20, 30% were compared and analyzed by the vehicle test using LPG vehicle according to the FTP75 mode. It was also investigated the characteristics of nano-particle emit with propane mixing rate.

KUVE (KIST 무인 주행 전기 자동차)의 자율 주행 (Autonomous Navigation of KUVE (KIST Unmanned Vehicle Electric))

  • This article describes the system architecture of KUVE (KIST Unmanned Vehicle Electric) and unmanned autonomous navigation of it in KIST. KUVE, which is an electric light-duty vehicle, is equipped with two laser range finders, a vision camera, a differential GPS system, an inertial measurement unit, odometers, and control computers for autonomous navigation. KUVE estimates and tracks the boundary of road such as curb and line using a laser range finder and a vision camera. It follows predetermined trajectory if there is no detectable boundary of road using the DGPS, IMU, and odometers. KUVE has over 80% of success rate of autonomous navigation in KIST.

4지 신호교차로 차종별 사고모형 -청주시를 사례로- (Accident Models of 4-Legged Signalized Intersections by Vehicle Type in the Case of Cheongju)

  • 본 연구는 차종별 사고모형을 다루고 있다. 연구의 목적은 청주시 143개 4지 신호교차로에서 발생한 차종별 사고모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 EPDO(대물피해환산법)와 교통 및 기하구조 요인과의 관계를 설명하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 분석된 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신뢰수준 90% 이내에서 통계적으로 유의한 6개의 음이항 회귀모형이 개발되었다. 둘째, 모형의 ${\rho}^2$값은 0.14307(승용차), 0.35556(대형승합차), 0.21684(소형승합차), 0.205152(이륜차), 0.32338(소형트럭), 0.29046(대형트럭)으로, 이는 모두 통계적으로 의미있는 것으로 분석된다. 마지막으로 모든 모형의 공통된 사고요인은 ADT(일평균교통량)이며, 승용차의 특정 사고요인으로는 주도로차로폭합, 대형승합차의 경우 평균황색시간, 그리고 소형승합차의 경우 주도로와 부도로의 차로수 차이로 분석되었다.

소형차 배출가스 시험방법 국제 표준화를 위한 국내 주행패턴 연구 (Research on Domestic Driving Pattern for International Standardization of Light-duty Vehicles Emission Test Method)

  • 한국이 UN 자동차 법규 표준화 기구(WP29) 주관의 소형차 배출가스 시험방법 국제 표준화(WLTP/DHC) 연구에 참여하게 됨에 따라 우리나라의 도로 종류 별, 주행 시간대 별 주행패턴 측정이 요구되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 WP29에서 제안한 주행패턴 표준화 방법을 토대로, 우리나라의 도로 교통 특성을 반영한 실 도로 주행패턴을 측정하고, 대표성을 갖는 도로 종류 별 주행 시간대별 총 7가지 유형의 주행패턴을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 이동식 차량활동도 모니터링 장비(PAMS)를 이용하여 35,410km의 실주행자료를 수집하였으며, 각 유형별로 분석된 주행패턴은 서로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
