소재대체에 의한 하이브리드형 차체구조의 경량화 예측 방법 (A Method to Estimate the Weight-reduction of Hybrid Bodyshells by Material Substitution)

  • In this paper, a theorectical approach is studied to predict structural performances and weight-reduction rates of hybrid bodyshells in case that the materials of roof structures are substituted. To determine other light-weight materials to be substituted for the original roof materials, bending and twisting deformations are considered under constant stiffness and strength conditions, which derive some new weight-reduction indices from a structural performance point of view. The indices derived to estimate the weight-reduction can be utilized as a good criterion at the conceptual design for material substitution of the roofs.

  • In trench excavation, essential factor of earth-retaining temporary work structure should be easy taking to pieces and movement, and dead weight must be less. This paper studies about the light weight material and application as earth-retaining structure to prevent the slope failure of sand soil ground caused by the variation of groundwater level in trench excavation. That is, light weight earth-retaining structural is proposed and a simulation with FEM on application of proposed structural in sandy soil is presented. The results are summarized as follows; (1) The study proposed FRP H-shaped pannel for the light weight member, and also presented estimation method about stability. (2) Mechanical property (bending moment, shear force, axial force, displacement) were changed according to groundwater level, but these values had been within enough safety rate and allowable stress. Therefore, proposed light weight pannel with FRP is available for bracing structure in trench excavation.

  • This paper studied on a theoretical approach to predict structural performances and weight -reduction rates of hybrid bodyshells in case that the material of underframe structure is substituted. To choose other light-weight materials to be substituted for the original underframe material, compressive, bending and twisting deformations are considered under constant stiffness and strength conditions, which derive some new weight-reduction indices from a structural performance point of view. Next, these weight-reduction indices were verified using the finite element analyses of some simplified examples. It is shown that the derived indices to estimate the weight-reduction can be utilized as a good criterion for material substitution of the underframe at a basic design stage.

  • In this paper, light-weight system of linear induction motor(LIM) for light railway train is presented, and is compared with former type of LIM. For the light-weight system without modification of motor size the material of primary core(silicon steel) is changed with iron-cobalt alloy and the material of primary winding(copper) is changed with aluminium. The characteristics of LIM are analyzed. Specially, the air gap magnetic flux density distribution due to end effect is showed with motor velocity, we will present papers continuously through designing and testing a trial product.

  • To prevent energy waste in buildings used heat insulator. Heat insulator materials can be classified inorganic and organic. The organic material is be toxic gas emission, when a fire occurs. And it has lower water resistance. The inorganic material is heavy and worse thermal performance than organic materials. This study focused on thermal conductivity and density of inorganic foam material for using industrial by-products materials.

  • The present study was carried out to assess the basic material properties and thermal behavior of light-weight foamed concrete panel mixed with PCM (Phase Changing Material). To do so, this study fabricated light-weight foamed concrete (1.0kg/m3) in pre-foaming method and mixed it with PCM micro capsule of 1-dodecanol and melamine to examine its physical and thermal properties. The results confirmed strength reinforcement effect by proper replacement ratio of fly-ash, which is an industrial by-product, and PCM. In addition, it found out that PCM-mixed light-weight foamed concrete had time delay and temperature reduction effect within the range of PCM phase transition according to the rise of outdoor temperature. It was also observed that the insulation performance of PCM-mixed light-weight foamed concrete was more dependent upon thickness than PCM replacement ratio.

  • The objective of this research is an investigation of engineering properties of weathered granite soil mixed with Phosphogypsum and recycled EPS beads as an light-weighted soil. A series of geotechnical laboratory tests including physical index test, compaction test, CBR test and direct shear test were performed for various mixing ratios. Based on the laboratory test results, it was found that the maximum dry unit weight of the light weight soil ranges $1.46{\sim}1.61g/cm^3$ and the maximum dry unit weight decreases about 11~19.3% with the increase of amount of the recycled EPS beads and the optimum moisture content increase. Since the CBR values of the light weight soil ranges 10.4~18.4%, the light weight soil mixed with Phosphogypsum and recycled EPS beads can be used as a light weight backfill material on the soft soil.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop eco-friendly internal material of acrylic emulsion mortars using light-weight aggregate carrier which contains pyroligneous liquid. Four types of light-weight aggregates (vermiculite, perlite, charcoal, zeolite) that are widely used in building materials are selected and the properties such as adhesion, water absorption coefficient, antibiosis, crack and impact resistance are evaluated in accordance with KS F 4715. As a result, the properties of acrylic emulsion mortars using light-weight aggregate carrier are satisfied with KS requirements. The antibiosis is improved with increasing zeolite light-weight carrier content.

  • In scrapped material field, about ten millions ton of waste plastic materials are produced in korea. However recycling rate of waste plastic materials have above 25%. Therefore, it is urgently needed that they are used as recycled materials in order to prevent environment pollution and grain economic profits. In this paper, physical and mechanical properties of light weight concrete using waste plastic materials for aggregates are described in order to develop a light weight concrete with the aggregate made from waste plastic goods, it was carried out many experiments on mix proportion and strength. According to the experimental results, high-strength mortar was necessary to make light weight concrete using aggregate of waste plastic materials. Especially, considering the side of recycling of plastic wastes, it is recommended that recycled aggregates made from waste plastic materials is applied to light weight concrete.

  • 경량성토공법은 성토체 자중을 감소시켜 지반의 침하를 감소시키는 공법으로 작업의 편리성 등의 이유로 적용사례가 증가하고 있다. 이와 관련하여 스티로폼은 연약지반상에 경량성토재로서 활용할 수 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 경량성토재로서 스티로폼의 사용은 응력증가를 최소화 할 수 있으며, 안정재 사용을 통하여 지지력 증대와 침하감소효과를 얻을 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 연약점성토층 상부에 경량성토재를 포설하고 모형 지지력 실험과 유한요소해석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과를 바탕으로 경량성토재로서의 지지력 특성을 평가하였다. 실험결과 일반적인 성토재 보다 폐스티로폼을 이용한 성토재가 더욱 우수한 특성을 발휘하는 것으로 나타났다.
