모듈러 교각의 BIM 기반 정보 모델 인터페이스 모듈 개발 (Development of BIM Based Information Model Interface Module for a Modular Pier)

  • Modular technology has become a major issue of the construction industries to enhance their productivity. Modular bridge construction generally requires the data exchange between the contractors, designers, fabricators and constructors. Therefore, a readily accessible information model interface module based on BIM technology is essential for their communication during a project life-cycle. In this study, BIM based information model interface module for a modular pier was developed. For the information models, the PBS(Product Breakdown Structure) and LOD(Level of Development) were defined. Next, all components of a modular pier were conducted by the parametric modeling technique, and then 3D cell library interface was developed. An nterface module was also developed using VBA(Visua basic Application) for exchanging a data from 3D model library to other softwares such as Microstation, AutoCad and Excel and was connected with MS Access database. The developed information model interface module would improve the design quality of the modular pier and reduce the time and cost for design. Updated 3D information models could be utilized for the fabrication, assembly, and construction process for modular piers.

  • 한국전쟁 이후, 우리 군은 시설건설에 지속적으로 투자를 하였으나, 대부분의 군시설은 건설의 긴급성 때문에 장기적인 계획이 부족한 상태로 이루어진 경우가 많았다. 현재 군이 보유한 시설 중 경과연수가 20년 이상 된 노후 시설은 약 $25\%$를 차지하고 있으며, 이들은 원래의 기능을 제대로 수행하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 최근 현대화 사업 등을 통하여 노후 군시설을 교체하고 있지만, 장기적인 관점에서 계획하고 유지관리 되지 못할 경우 국가예산의 낭비를 초래하고, 기존 시선의 철거로 인해 발생하는 건축폐기물에 의한 환경문제를 초래할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 국가경제적인 낭비를 줄이고 군시설의 장수명화를 도모하기 위한 효율적인 유지관리방안을 제시하였다.

Sustainable retrofit design of RC frames evaluated for different seismic demand

  • Seismic upgrading of existing structures is a technical and social issue aimed at risk reduction. Sustainable design is one of the most important challenges in any structural project. Nowadays, many retrofit strategies are feasible and several traditional and innovative options are available to engineers. Basically, the design strategy can lead to increase structural ductility, strength, or both of them, but also stiffness regulation and supplemental damping are possible strategies to reduce seismic vulnerability. Each design solution has different technical and economical performances. In this paper, four different design solutions are presented for the retrofit of an existing RC frame with poor concrete quality and inadequate reinforcement detailing. The considered solutions are based on FRP wrapping of the existing structural elements or alternatively on new RC shear walls introduction. This paper shows the comparison among the considered design strategies in order to select the suitable solution, which reaches the compromise between the obtained safety level and costs during the life-cycle of the building. Each solution is worked out by considering three different levels of seismic demand. The structural capacity of the considered retrofit solutions is assessed with nonlinear static analysis and the seismic performance is evaluated with the capacity spectrum method.

랜탈 물류산업의 효율적 운영방안 (Efficient Management of Rental Logistics Industry)

  • Enormous flocks by the reduced life cycle of products caused by the technological innovation if later 20 century, development of new materials and diversified demands of customers appeared as the pressing element causing the trouble in management of companies, and when considering the logistic costs that are imposed to companies in terms of function, the costs related to the stock topped the list of costs, followed by the transportation ones, and for pallet pool system, inventory of stocks is very difficult by the number of companies. Reducing the logistic cost may be accomplished by numbers of logistic management methods, but the most fundamental and essential one is the accomplishment of the consistent pallet system that is the core of unit load system, and the purpose of consistent pallet system is the treatment of logistic functions such as transportation, storage and unloading with consistent pallet system, and increasing the turnover ratio is required for the improvement of the system. As the turnover ratios is increased, more pallets will be used so, numbers of empty pallets will be increased accordingly by returning the pallet. Therefore, in this study, we will establish the effective stock management system by comparing with the other existing stock management system after looking at the concept and examples of pallet full system in order to resolved this kind of problem.

공기 및 지열 이용 Dual-Source 히트펌프 시스템의 성능실험 및 경제성 분석 (The Performance Test and the Feasibility Study for a Dual-Source Heat Pump System Using the Air and Ground Heat Source)

  • Recently, the use of renewable energy has been increased due to growing concern on the energy-saving at buildings and the reduction of $CO_2$ emission. In the field of architecture, to reduce the energy consumption of heating, cooling and hot water supply, heat pump systems with renewable energy has been developed and used in various applications. However, there have been many of researches on the large-scale commercial heat pump systems, but the research and the field application of a compact heat pump system is rare. Therefore, in order to develop the compact heat pump for the small-scale residential building, this study conducted the performance test and feasibility study for a hybrid heat pump using the heat source of air, solar and ground. In the results of experiments through a trial product, the average COP of cooling mode with ground heat source was 4.75, and it of heating mode was 4.03. Furthermore, the average COP of cooling mode with air heat source was 2.60, and it of heating mode was 2.92. Finally, payback period of the system was calculated as 9.2 years.

  • 반도체 산업은 임베디드 소프트웨어를 통해 운영 통제되는 자동화설비를 통해 첨단상품을 생산한다. 반도체를 생산하는 로봇과 각종 설비의 임베디드 소프트웨어 유지보수는 제품의 품질과 신뢰성 제고를 위한 필수적인 과정으로 반도체 장비의 라이프 사이클을 고려할 때 상당히 높은 비중을 차지하는 활동영역이다. 그러나 이 분야에 대한 학술적 관심사는 그리 높지 않는데, 본 연구에서는 반도체 웨이퍼 생산장비를 구동하는 소프트웨어 관련 문제로 보고된 사건을 대상으로 502개의 데이터를 무작위 추출방식으로 수집하여 임베디드 소프트웨어의 유지보수 노력에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석해 보았다. 결론으로 실무적인 시사점도 제시하였다.

Evaluation of Deterioration on Steel Bridges Based on Bridge Condition Ratings

  • Recent developments in Bridge Management Systems (BMS) and in Life-Cycle Cost (LCC) of bridges, have raised the need for evaluation procedure of future condition (Deterioration) of a bridge. Predicting future deterioration is not an easy task due to limited past data to extrapolate from and also due to difficulty in measuring actual deterioration such as section loss of steel on an actual steel bridge. Also, increase in live load and reduction of resistance are random variables, thus a probabilistic approach should be adopted for determining the future deterioration. Due to difficulties in evaluation of future deterioration on steel bridges, accepting uncertainties within a reasonable error, a deterministic procedure using bridge condition rating can be a useful tool for projection of future condition of bridges to identify repair and maintenance needs. The object of this paper is to determine applicability of evaluating deterioration of steel bridge components based on Bridge condition ratings. Bridge condition ratings of bridge components show wide variation for bridges of same age and does not directly correlate well with the age of the bridge and/or deterioration of the bridge. High uncertainty can be reduced by breaking down the rating and by sensitivity analysis. From refined condition rating data, generalized deterioration profile of structures based on age can be derived. Examples are shown for sample bridges in USA. Approximately, 3,000 short to medium span steel bridges were listed in the inventory database. Results show wide variation of rating factors but by subdividing the Bridge condition ratings for various categories general deterioration profiles of steel bridges can be determined.

  • Bridge constructed recently is preferred to have a long span and a simple structure detail considering not only functions as bridge but scenic beauty, maintenance, construction term and life cycle cost, etc. Therefore, it demands a high quality steel like a thick plate steel and a high performance steel. A TMCP steel produced by theme-mechanical control process is now spotlighted due to the weldability for less carbon equivalent. It improved at strength and toughness in microstructure. Resently the SM570-TMC steel, a high strength TMCP steel whose tensile strength is 600MPa, is developed and applied to steel structures. But, for the application of this steel to steel structures, it is necessary to elucidate not only the material characteristics but also the mechanical characteristic of welded joint.   • Scheduling plays an important role in shop floor planning. A scheduling shows the planned time when processing of a specific job will start on each machine that the job requires. It also indicates when the job will be completed on every process. Thus, it is a timetable for both jobs and machines. There is only one server available and arriving work require services from this server. Job are processed by the machine one at a time. The most common objective is to sequence jobs on the severs so as to minimize the penalty for being late, commonly called tardiness penalty. Based on other objectives, many criteria may serve as s basis for developing job schedules. The process also comprises all strategic planning, capital investments, management decisions, and tasks necessary to create a new product. manufacturing processes must be created so that the product can be produced in the product facility. Purchasing new equipment and training workers may be required if new technology is to be used. Tools, fixtures, and the sequence of steps in the manufacturing processes must all be developed to allow rapid, high-quality, cost effective production. Also, it may be needed to be rearrange the production facility to adapt to the new manufacturing processes. Therefore, this study tries to proposed that Scheduling by customer needs group for minimizing the problem and reducing inventory, product development time, cycle time, and order lead time.
