Ubiquitous technology is currently being introduced to libraries at the fastest speed as compared to other spaces. However, the introduction of ubiquitous technology to the existing analog space is causing problems despite such intelligence of libraries as the design standards for ubiquitous spaces have not been arranged yet. This researcher analyzed and evaluated the characteristics of design from the ubiquitous aspect of the ubiquitous environment-oriented libraries that are still at their initial stage. The subjects for this study were the National Library of Korea, Myongji University Bangmok Library, and Yonsei University Library. The definition and characteristics of the ubiquitous environment libraries were examined through literature review and the standards for design analysis were derived by analyzing previous studies. Case analyses were conducted to evaluate the design elements in the ubiquitous environment libraries based on the field observation, photographing, and interviews with managers. As a result, functionality, safety, cognition and convenience were derived based on the investigation and analysis of previous studies; informativeness, playfulness, security, and simplicity which are the design characteristics were found. As a result of the case studies, while functionality and safety are met in most of the standards for design analysis, universality was very low. Care for minorities is need in a library as it is a space used by many unspecified individuals.

최근 정보자원의 효율적인 관리 및 활용을 위해 국내외적으로 디지털 도서관 시스템 구축작업이 활발히 진행중이다. 이러한 시스템 개발자 관련 표준을 적용함으로써 상호운용성을 확보하여 시간과 노력, 비용을 획기적으로 줄일 수 있다. 따라서 본 고에서는 표준의 의의 및 개발과정과 표준의 종류, 주요 표준화기구에 대해 언급을 한 후, 디지털 도서관 시스템 구축을 위한 주요 표준에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

본 연구는 향후 국내 이동도서관 관련 기준 또는 지침을 제정하는데 필요한 이론적 기초를 마련하고자 1963년~2011년 사이에 제정된 외국의 이동도서관 관련 기준과 지침 11개에 대해 조사와 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 각 기준과 지침마다 개별적인 차이가 있었으나 대체로 관리/운영, 차량, 인력, 장서, 방문일정/정류장, 서비스/프로그램, 마케팅/홍보, 정보통신기술, 안전 등의 9개 항목들이 이동도서관 기준과 지침의 주요 항목으로 나타났고, 주요 항목마다 다양한 세부항목들이 존재하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 향후 국내 이동도서관 기준 또는 지침 제정과정에 도움을 줄 수 있는 몇 가지 사항들이 제언되었다.

본 연구는 병원도서관의 존재 및 역할의 중요성으로 인해 관련 가이드라인 및 기준을 토대로 실제적으로 환자에게 제공되고 있는 서비스를 조사해 보고자 함이 목적으로 조사대상은 국외 병원도서관이다. 검색엔진 Google로부터 관련 검색어 결과 국외 병원도서관 사이트 90개를 선정하여 가이드라인 및 기준을 토대로 작성된 서비스 유형을 조사하였다. 조사결과, '기본서비스'와 '건강정보자원서비스'를 중심으로 서비스가 제공되고 있었으며 '건강정보자원서비스'의 경우, '교육'보다는 '제공 전달'중심으로 서비스가 이루어지고 있었다. '정신적 심적 치유서비스'는 전체적으로 미흡한 것으로 조사되었다. 조사결과를 기반으로 한 제언으로는 첫째, 환자만을 특화시킨 도서관 명칭이 필요하며 둘째, 정신적 심적 치유서비스인 문화 오락 재활 프로그램 제공, 특히 병원도서관 서비스의 중심이라 할 수 있는 독서치료서비스의 확대가 필요하며 셋째, 사서를 기본으로 한 건강사서, 자원봉사자의 인적자원 배치가 필요하다.

본 연구의 목적은 대전지역을 중심으로 24개 공공도서관의 일반현황과 행정체계를 분석함으로써 공공도서관의 현주소를 파악하고, 발전방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 첫째, 대전지역 공공도서관의 시설, 인력, 장서, 예산 현황을 살펴보고, "제3차 도서관발전 종합계획(2019-2023)", "도서관법"과 "한국도서관기준"에서 제시하는 기준과 비교하였다. 둘째, 공공도서관 행정조직의 체계와 주요 특징을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 대전지역 공공도서관의 발전을 위해 공공도서관의 지속적 확충, 사서직원 충원, 장서 확충, 노인 대상 서비스 강화, 예산 증액, 정책담당 전담부서 신설을 제안하였다.

최근 들어, 고등교육기관으로서의 대학은 교육성과와 품질을 보장해야 할 사회적 책무성에 직면해 있다. 대학평가인증제도는 대학교육의 책무성을 담보하기 위한 수단으로써 국제적으로 널리 이용되고 있다. 미국의 대학평가인증기준은 물적, 인적자원 등 투입요소 대신에 문제해결능력, 비판적 분석력, 창의력과 같은 학습성과를 강조하고 있다. 또한, 미국의 대학평가인증기준은 정보활용능력을 주요 학습성과로 간주하고 있다. 본 연구는 도서관 및 정보활용능력의 관점에서 한국과 미국의 대학평가인증기준을 비교 분석하고, 한국의 대학평가인증기준에 정보활용능력에 관한 사항을 어떻게 적용해야 할 것인가 하는 기본 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 한국의 대학평가인증기준은 학습성과를 강화하는 측면에서 정보활용능력을 반영하고, 단순 강의 수준을 벗어나 도서관 사서와 담당교수와의 협력수업을 기준에 반영할 필요가 있다.

이 연구는 학교도서관 시설을 계획하고 개선하는 과정에서 이용자의 요구를 파악할 수 있는 표준화된 조사도구를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 한국도서관협회의 기준, IFLA의 학교도서관 가이드라인, AASL의 기준에서 공통적으로 제시하고 있는 학교도서관의 시설특성을 파악하였고, 요구조사 도구에 반영되어야 할 특성으로 교육적 활용성, 시설 접근성, 자료 접근성, 쾌적한 환경, 심미성, 공간성, 편리성, 정보기술, 업무 효율성, 확장성의 10개 특성을 선정하였다. 그리고 각 특성을 측정할 수 있는 요소를 우리 도서관 상황을 고려하여 선택하였다. 이 연구에서 제시한 요구조사 도구는 설문지 방식으로 계량적 데이터를 용이하게 얻을 수 있도록 설계되었고, 학교도서관 상황에 따라 조사도구를 변형하여 사용할 수 있는 방법을 추가적으로 제시하였다.

Purpose: The definition and factors of passive design being the sustainable method of building plan through the preceding research is deducted and the effect of passive design within the public library by applying the deducted factors in the case of built public libraries and further the realization plan of green library aimed to be reviewed in this research. Method: This study is to induce common elements of architecture plan for public library and passive design, and assess application level of re-classified elements of sustainable public library in order to analyze present condition of passive design applied on facilities of public library. First, related laws and planning standards of public library will be reviewed, then the definition of passive design will be considered using advanced research. Through advanced research related to planing elements and passive design for library induced from various plans for library standards, a common ground of induced passive design element will be transformed into assessment items and practices to be analyzed. Result: Libraries which are and are not preliminarily certified by G-SEED will be compared with each other in order to analyze the effects of passive design on G-SEED. Even though various passive elements such as load reduction of air conditioning and energy efficiency exist, there are no assessment tool within G-SEED. The fact that there are only standards for temporary methods such as utilization of construction material and installation of equipment highlights the challenges in quantitative evaluation.

도서관 기준은 도서관의 사명과 목적, 이용자서비스, 운영관리 등에 대한 기본 방향을 제공하고, 도서관이 수행하는 각종 서비스와 프로그램을 측정 평가할 수 있는 준거로 활용할 수 있다. 또한 도서관이 중장기 계획을 수립하고, 목표수준을 설정할 때, 근거자료가 될 수 있다. 국내에서도 관종별 도서관 기준이나 법적인 기준을 마련하여 이의 활동을 위한 도구로 활용하고 있다. 그러나 한국도서관기준은 오랜기간 동안 개정되지 못하여 현재의 도서관 환경을 반영하기 어려우며, 법적인 기준도 그 내용이 매우 미미하여 최소한의 기준으로도 작동하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 주요국가의 전문도서관 기준과 국내의 관련 기준들을 분석하여 현재의 도서관 환경을 반영할 수 있는 직원, 장서, 시설 기준의 개정방향을 제시하였다.

This study is to use B.F. certification standards to identify the application and differences of B.F. facilities according to various approaches, and to use the analysis results as basic data for the expansion and renovation of new facilities, the National University (Jeonnam University Library), which underwent remodeling before the implementation of the certification system, and the two newly established private universities (Joseon University Library) that were subject to legal application before the implementation of the certification system. First, Chosun University met more B.F. certification standards than Chonnam National University, and mainly intermediary facilities belonged to the best to the best. Second, Chosun University and Chonnam National University's internal facilities met many B.F. certification standards, and Chonnam National University had many areas to improve and found areas to remodel. Third, information facilities at Chonnam National University and Chosun University only had facilities for the hearing impaired, and there were no information facilities for the visually impaired. Facilities for the visually impaired had to be installed, and compared to Chosun University, Chonnam National University fell short of the B.F. certification standard, so there were many areas that needed to be remodeled.
