This study proposed and evaluated electroencephalography (EEG)-based and eye-tracking-based methods to determine relevance by utilizing users' implicit relevance feedback while navigating content in a digital library. For this, EEG/eye-tracking experiments were conducted on 32 participants using video, image, and text data. To assess the usefulness of the proposed methods, deep learning-based artificial intelligence (AI) techniques were used as a competitive benchmark. The evaluation results showed that EEG component-based methods (av_P600 and f_P3b components) demonstrated high classification accuracy in selecting relevant videos and images (faces/emotions). In contrast, AI-based methods, specifically object recognition and natural language processing, showed high classification accuracy for selecting images (objects) and texts (newspaper articles). Finally, guidelines for implementing a digital library interface based on EEG, eye-tracking, and artificial intelligence technologies have been proposed. Specifically, a system model based on implicit relevance feedback has been presented. Moreover, to enhance classification accuracy, methods suitable for each media type have been suggested, including EEG-based, eye-tracking-based, and AI-based approaches.

Today. the mental health has a great deal of impact on individuals and the society surrounding. Therefore. this research is to propose a way of bibliotherapical intercession by stages and patterns as to examine the recovery process of students with negative emotion by using the grounded theoretical method. This research collected materials through focus-interview, participant observation and book reports of 4 experiments involving female college students aged from 21 to 23, all having emotional and psychological difficulties. The recovery process of female students with negative emotion involved causal factors such as "recognition of hidden wound" "Sense of inferiority", and "difficulty in forming relationships", as well as contextual factors like "sympathetic attitude". which altogether brought about the core phenomenon. "pursuit for healthy ego". This core phenomenon induced to recovering the bright and positive attitude through using the strategies of 'self insight' and application of 'management plan', influence by such incoherent conditions as 'intimate surroundings' and $\setminus$ 'support system patterns'. And as time passed. the recovery process appeared tin four stages: 'issues recognition'. 'emotional responses', 'issue solution' and 'self application'.

This study aims to investigate the awareness and experiences of domestic researchers regarding data publishing, which has been recognized as a new channel of data sharing as scholarly communication evolves in the open science environment. A survey is conducted among researchers from five government-funded research institutes in the field of science and technology and members of the GeoAI Data Society to confirm the awareness of data publishing. As a result of the study, domestic researchers recognized providing explanations for data, stable access to data, citation, and quality assurance through peer review as the advantages of data journals. On the contrary, a low level of recognition for data paper as one of the research outputs was presented. With regard to the properties of data publication, the respondents answered that the data description, metadata description, and permanent identifiers are highly related, however, their recognition of the relation between the properties of data publication and the data submission to a repository and data peer review was relatively low. Finally, to expand the data publication, the need for the development of an editorial system that supports data paper peer review and cross-linking to a data repository as well as the development of a repository that supports data citation was identified. This study on the domestic researchers' experience and awareness of data publishing can provide insights for the implementation of data publishing services and infrastructure in the future.

This study aimed to propose the core values of librarians by investigating the core values of domestic and foreign libraries, including ALA's core values, and analyzing related research by domestic and foreign researchers. The research process included literature analysis, case studies, and surveys. The results showed that although the recognition of the need for setting core values for librarians was high (4.48), the awareness and understanding of core values were low. The reasons for recognizing the need for setting core values included improving the recognition and value of librarians, enhancing their professionalism, and establishing the value of libraries. The study proposed approximately 20 core values for librarians, with only two items scoring below 4 points, and 18 items showing high agreement with scores of 4 points or above. Particularly, professionalism, accessibility, diversity, service, literacy, and public interest all scored above 4.4. Analysis of perception differences between different types of libraries revealed significant differences for almost all items, with school libraries showing the most significant differences. The study recommends conducting in-depth research at the national level to reduce the number of core values to within 10 and share them with the nation.

Various devices are connected to the Internet, and attacks using the Internet are occurring. Among such attacks, there are attacks that use malicious URLs to make users access to wrong phishing sites or distribute malicious viruses. Therefore, how to detect such malicious URL attacks is one of the important security issues. Among recent deep learning technologies, neural networks are showing good performance in image recognition, speech recognition, and pattern recognition. This neural network can be applied to research that analyzes and detects patterns of malicious URL characteristics. In this paper, performance analysis according to various parameters was performed on a method of detecting malicious URLs using neural networks. In this paper, malicious URL detection performance was analyzed while changing the activation function, learning rate, and neural network structure. The experimental data was crawled by Alexa top 1 million and Whois to build the data, and the machine learning library used TensorFlow. As a result of the experiment, when the number of layers is 4, the learning rate is 0.005, and the number of nodes in each layer is 100, the accuracy of 97.8% and the f1 score of 92.94% are obtained.

A hand-gesture interface to manipulate a 3D object of augmented reality is implemented by recognizing the user hand-gesture in this paper. Proposed method extracts the hand region from real image, and creates augmented object by hand marker recognized user hand-gesture. Also, 3D object manipulation corresponding to user hand-gesture is performed by analyzing a hand region ratio, a numbet of finger and a variation ratio of hand region center. In order to evaluate the performance of the our proposed method, after making a 3D object by using the OpenGL library, all processing tasks are implemented by using the Intel OpenCV library and C++ language. As a result, the proposed method showed the average 90% recognition ratio by the user command-modes successfully.

As information and communication technologies have been developed, digital records are getting more important. Discussions on managements and archival value of digital records such as e-mail and data set have been undertaken. Furthermore, frequency of digital communication tools usage has been increasing in agencies and has gained recognition as official records. Accordingly, this study aims to deal with importance of instant messenger records and proposes effective management model of instant messenger records. We performed comparative analysis of management records which are related to instant messenger in national archives of United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Korea and interviewed workers in agencies. Using this results, we propose effective and meaningful model for managing instant messenger records for workers in agencies.

This research aims to provide alternative policy guidelines and suggestions to enhance reading culture in the country. Analyzing "Reading Culture Promotion Act", which is the keystone legal frame to promote readership in Korea, followed by major foreign policies, this study identified three main policy areas including 'Reading infrastructure', 'Tax support', and 'Public Campaign'. In addition, the study conducted Delphi survey of experts' assessments of how much is the recognition of, contribution to, pubic support of, and actual applicability to the reading promotion for the readers. Through the survey along with the Focus Group Interviews of different age groups, this study could develop useful guidelines and suggestions to strengthen existing reading promotion policies. The findings also suggest that the society should realize that reading is not just educational purpose but 'enjoyment' itself and for that matter, the government needs more careful and active public campaigns.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of career maturity of college students on the pursuit of professionalism in the department of Library and Information Science. For this purpose, 128 students in their twenties were surveyed and the influence of variables was verified by multiple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. As a result, it was analyzed that the career maturity of the students majoring in literature and information science had little effect on the pursuit of professionalism. However, satisfaction with the professor-student relationship had a significant effect on the recognition of students' pursuit of professionalism by enhancing career maturity. Therefore, in order to pursue professionalism in the preparation of the career path of the librarianship major, it is important that the professor's career guidance and smooth communication are important.

This study is to investigate archival use behavior of history teachers in high schools. The study conducted 3 times interviews with high school history teachers and carried out a survey on recognition of archives, archival use, archival seeking behavior, and harrier factors for archival use to 30 teachers from the 2 local communities of history teachers. According to the survey, history teachers have used archives for raising the historical understanding by students in their classes. But the tight curriculums of history and the lack of time to search archives were barrier factors for teachers to use archives in their classes. The teachers who participated in this survey suggested that integrated DBs of archives in Korea and source books with commentaries need to promote use of archives in history classes.
