중국 일대일로(一帶一路)정책에 따른 연운항항(連雲港港)의 발전 전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development Strategies for China Lianyungang Port under One Belt One Road Policy)

  • With the rapid development of global economic and trade, the ports in the North-east Asia region have developed greatly. In such a fierce competition, how to ascertain right evaluation methods to assess the competitiveness of the ports, and make scientific and rational development strategy for upgrading the overall level of competitiveness of ports in North-east Asia, has become the first task for all the ports for coping with the challenges. As China's sustained economic growth of more than 30 years, the economic power and comprehensive national strength has been changed, China's international status has been greatly improved. Also China has achieved remarkable new results in the construction of peripheral diplomacy, and further has consolidated the relationship of countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt. The strong position of RMB in foreign exchange market and the implementation of the strategy of "area" opening to the outside world accelerated economic belt along the silk road in China to the west open pace. On the basis of the SWOT analysis of the Lianyungang Port, combined with the comprehensive and practical port competitiveness evaluation indicators system and competitiveness evaluation method, calculate the competitiveness level of Lianyungang port in East China, and find out the problems must be solved. The development strategies for Lianyungang port under One Belt One Road were suggested.

KIF26B-AS1 Regulates TLR4 and Activates the TLR4 Signaling Pathway to Promote Malignant Progression of Laryngeal Cancer

  • Laryngeal cancer is one of the highest incidence, most prevalently diagnosed head and neck cancers, making it critically necessary to probe effective targets for laryngeal cancer treatment. Here, real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR (qRT-PCR) and western blot analysis were used to detect gene expression levels in laryngeal cancer cell lines. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and subcellular fractionation assays were used to detect the subcellular location. Functional assays encompassing Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU), transwell and wound healing assays were performed to examine the effects of target genes on cell proliferation and migration in laryngeal cancer. The in vivo effects were proved by animal experiments. RNA-binding protein immunoprecipitation (RIP), RNA pulldown and luciferase reporter assays were used to investigate the underlying regulatory mechanisms. The results showed that KIF26B antisense RNA 1 (KIF26B-AS1) propels cell proliferation and migration in laryngeal cancer and regulates the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling pathway. KIF26B-AS1 also recruits FUS to stabilize TLR4 mRNA, consequently activating the TLR4 signaling pathway. Furthermore, KIF26B-AS1 plays an oncogenic role in laryngeal cancer via upregulating TLR4 expression as well as the FUS/TLR4 pathway axis, findings which offer novel insight for targeted therapies in the treatment of laryngeal cancer patients.

Anti-diabetic activities of catalpol in db/db mice

  • The objective was to investigate the hypoglycemic action of catalpol in spontaneous diabetes db/db mice. 40 db/db mice were randomly divided into five groups: model control gourp; db/db plus catalpol 40, 80, 120 mg/kg body wt. groups and db/db plus metformin 250 mg/kg group. Age-matched db/m mice were selected as normal control group. The mice were administered with corresponding drugs or solvent by gavage for 4 weeks. The oral glucose tolerance test was carried out at the end of $3^{rd}$ week. After 4 weeks of treatment, the concentrations of fasting blood glucose (FBG), glycated serum protein (GSP), insulin (INS), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC) and adiponection (APN) in serum were detected. The protein expressions of phosphorylation-$AMPK{\alpha}$1/2 in liver, phosphorylation-$AMPK{\alpha}$1/2 and glucose transporter-4 (GLUT-4) in skeletal muscle and adipose tissues were detected by western blot. Real time RT-PCR was used to detect the mRNA expressions of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) and Hydroxymethyl glutaric acid acyl CoA reductase (HMGCR) in liver. Our results showed that catalpol could significantly improve the insulin resistance, decrease the serum concentrations of INS, GSP, TG, and TC. The concentrations of APN in serum, the protein expression of phosphorylation-$AMPK{\alpha}$1/2 in liver, phosphorylation-$AMPK{\alpha}$1/2 and GLUT-4 in peripheral tissue were increased. Catalpol could also down regulate the mRNA expressions of ACC and HMGCR in liver. In conclusion, catalpol ameliorates diabetes in db/db mice. It has benefit effects against lipid/glucose metabolism disorder and insulin resistance. The mechanism may be related to up-regulating the expression of phosphorylation-$AMPK{\alpha}$1/2.

  • Recently, the trade volume between Korea, China, and Europe is increasing gradually with various transport routes such as sea, railway. and linking of them. In this study, economic efficiency of existing transport routes are estimated and trainferry type shipping between Mokpo and Lianyungang is proposed as a efficient transport route considering the trade volume between Korea and China.

DEA를 활용한 한중 카페리 항로의 효율성 분석 (A Study on Measuring the Efficiency of Korea-China Car Ferry Routes by using Data Envelopment Analysis)

  • In this prolonged economic recession, the countries in Northeast Asia play a crucial role in the global market and the relationship between Korea and China gets more attention due to its significant achievement during the past 20 years after the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1992. In this regards, this study presents general overview of Korea-China Car Ferry Route and evaluates the efficiency level of each operating route using DEA model. Incheon-Yingkou, Incheon-Lianyungang, Pyeong Taek-Lianyungang are analyzed as efficent routes, while from the view point of passenger efficiency, 4 routes i.e, Incheon-Dalian, Incheon-Dandong, Pyeong Taek- Weihai, Gunsan-Shidao are also noted as efficient routes. Consequently, other inefficient routes can benchmark these efficient routes by increasing cargo volume and passengers.

  • 중국 시장이 지닌 잠재력은 무궁무진하다고 평가된다. 중국 정부의 경제 개혁의 성과로 중국은 해마다 높은 경제 성장을 기록하고 있으며 이에 따른 수출입 물동량 증가로 항만 재활이 가속화 되면서 중국은 세계 물류 시장의 가장 큰 시장으로 떠올렸다. 중국 본토를 가로질러 중앙아시아, 유럽까지 연결되는 중국횡단철도(TCR)의 개설로 해외 화물 유치 및 더욱 다양한 고객의 수요에 대응할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 중국의 항만 개발규모에 비하면 중국의 내륙 철도운송체계는 부족한 실정이다. 중국 연운항은 중국 동쪽 해양의 도시로 중국횡단철도(TCR)의 시발역이 위치하고 있으며 14개 연해개방도시중 하나로서 올해 물류배후단지 건설중이다. 본 연구에서 연운항과 이웃 도시들의 현황을 되짚어 보고 물류 거점으로 성장하기 위한 발전 방향을 제시한다.

우리나라와 동아시아 항만간의 수출 컨테이너 물동량 추이 분석 (A Trend Analysis on Export Container Volume Between Korea and East Asian Ports)

  • 우리나라 수출입의 중요한 비중을 차지하는 동아시아 지역은 지리적, 정치적, 경제적, 사회 문화적 상호보완성으로 인해 더욱 증대될 것으로 예상된다. 최근 수출입 증대와 더불어 우리나라 항만과 대동아시아 국가간의 항만 물동량 역시 증가세를 유지하고 있다. 그러나 이들 국가의 경제 규모 및 성장율의 차이, 항만인프라 수준, 지리적 위치 등과 같은 다양한 요인으로 인해 이들 항만과의 물동량은 변동성을 보이고 있다. 항만 물동량의 변동성과 항만 네트워크의 변화에 대한 많은 연구에도 불구하고 우리나라 항만과 동아시아 항만과의 보다 세밀한 연구는 제한적이기 때문에 본 연구가 이러한 갭을 보충하고자 한다. 본 연구는 우리나라의 대동아시아 지역항만간 수출 컨테이너 화물의 유통경로의 추이를 분석하고, 이를 통해 우리나라 무역업체, 선사, 물류업체, 항만당국의 정책적 실무적 시사점을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 2007~2015년간 우리나라의 주요항만과 대동아시아 개별항만간의 물동량의 변동성을 변이할당기법을 사용하여 분석을 진행한다. 분석결과 우리나라 항만 전체적으로 Shanghai, Ningbo, Ho Chi Minh, Haiphong 등이 규모와 물동량 증가면에서 가장 중요한 항으로 나타났다. 항만단위로 볼 때 부산항에서는 중국항의 경우 Yantai, Weihai, Hakata, Kobe, Ho Chi Minh, Haiphong, 인천항은 Lianyungang, Tianjin, Osaka, Kobe, Ho Chi Minh, Haiphong, 광양항은 Tianjinxingang, Weihai, Yokohama, Ho Chi Mihn, Tanjong, 울산항은 Yantai, Lianyungang, Nagoya, Kobe, Ho Chi Minh, Portkelang항과의 항만네트워크가 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 우리나라의 정부, 항만당국, 해운 물류업체들은 이들 항만과의 물류네트워크 협력을 강화하는 한편 이들 항만에 대한 투자를 적극적으로 추진해 나갈 필요가 있다.

A Study on the Transmission-tribology Design Based on Existing Problem of the Gear Drive and Tribology

  • We propose a new concept of transmission-tribology design based on the investigation of development and existing problems of the gear drive and tribology. The content of transmission-tribology and transmission-tribology design is probed. Some effective methods of transmission-tribology design is probed. Some effective methods of transmission-tribology design are put forward. Partial achievements in this research are introduced tersely. Mechanical transmission, which is represented by the gear drive, and tribology are two main branches of mechanical engineering. They have their own definite research field. In recent years, we have been doing our utmost to suggest combining mechanical transmission-tribology and transmission-tribology design. Partial achievements in this research area are obtained.

MicroRNA-155 Expression has Prognostic Value in Patients with Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Digestive System Carcinomas

  • Objective: Published data have shown that microRNAs (miRNAs) could play a potential role as diagnostic and prognostic indicators in cancers. Data for the predictive value of microRNA-155 are inconclusive. The aim of the present analysis was therefore to evaluate the role of miR-155 in prognosis for patients with a variety of carcinomas. Methods: Relevant studies were identified by searching PubMed and EMBASE. Data were extracted from studies comparing overall survival (OS), recurrence-free survival (RFS) or cancer-specific survival (CSS) in patients with carcinoma with higher miR-155 expression and those with lower levels. The pooled hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of miR-155 for clinical outcome were calculated. Results: A total of 15 studies were included. The pooled hazard ratio (HR) for OS of higher miR-155 expression in cancerous tissue was 1.89 (95% CI: 1.20-2.99, P=0.006), which could markedly predict poorer survival in general cancer. For RFS/CSS, elevated miR-155 was also associated with poor prognosis of cancer (HR=1.50, 95% CI: 1.10-2.05, P=0.01). On subgroup analysis, the pooled HR for OS in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) was 2.09 (95% CI: 0.68-6.41, P > 0.05), but for RFS/CSS was 1.28 (95% CI: 1.05-1.55, P=0.015), with statistical significance; the pooled HRs for OS and RFS/CSS in digestive system neoplasms were 3.04 (95% CI: 1.48-6.24, P=0.003) and 2.61 (95% CI: 1.98-3.42, P<0.05), respectively. Conclusions: The results indicated that the miR-155 expression level plays a prognostic role in patients with cancer, especially NSCLCs and digestive system carcinomas.
