65세 이상 노인 약물 중독 환자의 예후 인자 (Prognostic Factors of Acute Poisoning in Elderly Patients)

  • Purpose: Incidents of suicide attempt and acute poisoning in the elderly population is rising. This study investigated the clinical nature of acute poisoning and differences between the survival and mortality groups in the elderly. Methods: We retrospectively investigated 325 patients with acute poisoning who visited the emergency department. Patients were divided into two groups, one survival and one death group. Information regarding patient sex, age, root cause of poisoning, time of year of poisoning, type of intoxicant, duration of time between intoxicant ingestion and arrival at the emergency department, total length of hospital stay, and any previous suicide attempts and subsequent hospitalization were collected. An initial Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) and an initial and final Poison Severity Score (PSS) for each patient was calculated. Results: The survival rate for men was higher than for women in this study. The most common reason of drug intoxication was suicide, with accidental ingestion and substance abuse occurring in descending frequency. Seasonal factors were reflected in the data with the highest number of incidents occurring in spring and the lowest number in winter. Compared with the mortality group, the survival group had a lower initial PSS with a higher GCS. Conclusion: We conclude that being female, having suicide as a root cause, agrochemicals as an intoxicant, low initial Glasgow Coma Scale and high initial Poisoning Severity Score, are all associated with poor prognosis.

현대 패션에 나타난 퍼프 슬리브의 패턴 특징에 관한 연구 (The features of pattern in the puff sleeve as observed in modern fashion)

  • This study investigated the annual frequency and clothing type by extracting puff sleeves designs from overseas fashion collections from S/S and F/W 2017 to S/S and F/W 2019. Specifically, it analyzed production characteristics and pattern methods by the type of puff sleeve design, and found the following: In terms of the percentage of puff sleeves by season, S/S 2019 was the highest. Since Newtro, with a 1990s sensitivity, was the mainstream trend during the S/S 2019, power puff sleeves, a signature of the Newtro style, accounted for the greatest portion of this design feature. In terms of the type of clothes with puff sleeves, 'dress' (54.3%) was the highest, followed by 'shirts/blouse' (27.5%), 'jacket/coat' (12.5%), and 'padded coat/jacket' (5.7%). Specifically, puff sleeve patterns were found mostly in the 'dress' category, more than 47% every season, while the figures were more than 23%, 9.3%, and 2.6% in 'shirts/blouse', 'jacket/coat' and 'padded coat/jacket', respectively. In other words, puff sleeve designs were more common in 'dress' or 'shirts/blouse' than in a 'padded coat/jacket'. In general, the shoulder length is reduced to prevent the shoulders from looking broader because of puffs. In contrast, recent puff-sleeve styles differ from those introduced by modern fashion designers in that they have drop shoulders with puffs attached. Furthermore, as constructive and over-exaggerated sleeve patterns appeared, puffs were applied to diverse sleeve styles including mutton leg and Mameluke styles. The analysis results of this study will contribute to the development of the fashion industry through small quantity batch production pursuing unique styles and serve as the basis for further studies on the configuration methods of puff sleeves. This study will be used in various ways, including as educational material on sleeve patterns. Through the analysis of sleeve patterns, this study tries to provide basic data for planning the design of puff sleeves and helping to diversify the ladies' apparel market in the future.

간호사의 핵심역량과 상사의 직무역량 인식이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Core Competencies and Cognition of Job Competency of Their Senior Nurses on Work Performance in Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the effect of nurses' core competencies and cognition of job competency of senior nurses on work performance. Methods: Three hundred two nurses participated in the study. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 20.0. Frequency, t-test, ANOVA and stepwise multiple regression were utilized. Results: The level of nurses' core competencies was 3.65 (${\pm}.40$) points, cognition of job competency of senior nurses was 4.02 (${\pm}.60$) points, and work performance was 4.04 (${\pm}.55$) points. In accordance with the participant's general characteristics, work performance was found to be significant in their age, marital status, educational level, total clinical experience, length of time on the present ward, and their income. Cognition of job competency of senior nurses was found to be the most effective factor in work performance, followed by core competencies and total clinical experience, and these factors accounted for 63.4%. Conclusion: The study suggested that work performance was highly affected by the nurses' core competencies and cognition of job competency of senior nurses. Therefore, effective education programs are required to provide an appropriate experience to both entry-level and experienced nurses, as well as to help in enhancing nurses' and senior nurses competency at the same time.

대역확산 워터마킹 시스템의 채널용량 분석 (Analysis of Channel Capacity for Spread Spectrum Watermarking Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 대역확산 워터마킹 시스템을 무선채널 환경에서 부가데이터를 전송하기 위하여 적용할 경우 채널에 의한 영향을 분석하기 위하여 채널용량식을 정보이론적 관점에서 유도하고 분석한다. 부가데이터를 기존의 무선통신 시스템을 통하여 전송하기 위해서는 무선채널을 통과하는 워터마킹 신호가 채널에 의해서 어떻게 영향을 받고, 어느 정도의 데이터를 신뢰할 만한 수준으로 전송가능한지를 판단하는 기준으로서의 채널용량에 관한 연구가 필수적이다. 수치적 결과로부터 대역확산 워터마킹 시스템의 채널용량은 HWR, WNR, PN 길이 및 호스트 시스템의 샘플링 주파수에 의해 결정됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 적용된 Nakagami-m 페이딩 채널과 Log-normal 새도잉 채널에서 채널 상태 변화에 따른 채널용량의 변화를 확인하였고 다이버시티를 적용했을 경우의 채널용량의 향상 또한 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 다룬 대역확산 워터마킹 시스템의 채널용량의 수식적 결과는 PN 시퀀스를 이용하는 일반적인 대역확산 워터마킹 시스템에 적용할 수 있다.

부분 자율화를 통한 교복 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Development of the Consumer-Oriented School Uniform by the Partial Liberalization of the Dress Code)

  • Most of the students in middle and high schools today wear school uniforms. The school uniform is the most important and intimate clothes in adolescences and makes students feel a sense of group identity and belonging, and lessen the difference of economical capabilities. However levels of satisfaction is low because school uniforms do not express their individualities and do not keep up with the fashion. In this paper, we studied the partial liberalization of schools uniforms to raise the levels of satisfaction. The subjects were 378 male and female students from middle schools and high school in Ulsan, and a questionnaire was sent out. The survey was conducted in February 2007, and frequency analysis, ${\chi}^2$-analysis, and t-test were used for the analysis of the data. The results are as follows: The students recognized the partial liberalization of the dress code as loosening of the regulation As the result of analysis on attitudes toward the partial liberalization of the dress code, most of the students support the introduction of the plan. They chose a shirt as the most appropriate item and length as the best extent in liberalization. Among the elements of school uniform required to be unified, they selected a jacket and design as the item and extent, respectively. Through this study, we came to know the demands of students for school uniform and confirmed the possibility of the partial liberalization of the dress code as an improvement of consumer-oriented school uniform. In the future, it seems that their desires would be accepted and reflected in the design and school uniforms would be manufactured from the view point of consumer.

모형실험에 의한 트러스형 리프트 게이트의 진동 특성 (Dynamic Characteristic of Truss Type Lift Gate by Model Tests)

  • 본 연구에서는 4대강 사업으로 건설중인 트러스형 리프트의 진동특성을 검토하기 위하여 모형실험이 수행된다. 경간 40 m, 높이 9 m의 트러스형 리프트게이트를 축척 1/25로 모형이론에 따라 아크릴과 납으로 모형을 제작하고, 폭 1.6 m, 길이 25 m, 높이 0.8 m의 수로에서 실험된다. 먼저 모형의 고유진동수가 측정되고 모형을 검증하기 위하여 유한요소 해석결과와 비교된다. 검증된 모형에서 상하류 수위와 문비 개방고에 따른 진동가속도 진폭이 측정된다. 또한 문비의 진동을 줄 일수 있는 하부형상을 검토하기 위하여 문비 최하부의 각도가 $20^{\circ}$, $35^{\circ}$, $50^{\circ}$인 모형을 제작하고 실험결과를 서로 비교한다. 실험 결과는 수문 조작 시 유지관리지침의 기본 자료를 제공하고, 수문의 진동특성과 진동을 줄일 수 있는 수문의 하부형상을 검토한다.

초정밀가공기용 오차보상시스템 및 기상측정장치 개발 (Development of Error Compensation System and On the Machine Measurement System for Ultra-Precision Machine)

  • This paper present an error compensation system and On-Machine Measurement(OMM) system for improving the machining accuracy of ultra-precision lathe. The Fast-Tool-Servo(FTS) driven by a piezoelectric actuator is applied for error compensation system. The controller is implemented on the 32bit DSP for feedback control of piezoelectric actuator. The control system is designed to compensates three kinds of machining errors such as the straightness error of X-axis slide, the thermal growth error of the spindle. and the squareness between spindle and X-axis slide. OMM is preposed to measure the finished profile of workpiece on the machine-tool using capacitive sensor with highly accurate ruby tip probe guided by air bearing. The data acquisition system is linked to the CNC controller to get the position of each axis in real-time. Through the experiments, it is founded that the thermal growth of spindle and tile squareness error between spindle and X-axis slide influenced to machining error more than straightness error of X-axis slide in small travel length. These errors were simulated as a sinusoidal signal which has very low frequency and the FTS could compensate the signal less than 30 m. The implemented OMM system has been tested by measuring flat surface of 50 mm diameter and shows measurement error less than 400 mm

터널 주위의 탄성파 전파양상에 관한 연구 (Study of seismic wave propagation around tunnel)

  • 본 논문은 지하내부에 존재하는 공동의 존재를 밝히기 위한 시추공 토모그래피 탐사에 있어서 보다 정확한 자료의 역산을 위해 공동 주위에서의 파의 전파양상을 규명하기 위하는데 목적이 있다. 터널탐사에서 주로 사용되는 파동원의 주파수는 2kHz-5kHz에 달하며, 자료의 역산에 있어서 파장의 1/10 내외의 격자간격을 설정하는 것이 적합하다. 공동을 지나는 탄성파의 전파는 공동내부의 탄성파 속도에 따라 공동을 우회 또는 투과하며, 우회하는 탄성파는 공동의 탄성파 속도의 영향을 받지만 주로 모암의 탄성파 속도로 전파한다. 또한 모암의 탄성파속도와 공동의 탄성파 속도 사이의 편차가 작아질수록 탄성파는 공동을 투과하는 특성을 보인다.

  • 포장유지관리시스템에 있어서 포장표면 정보는 가장 중요한 인자 중의 하나이다. 따라서 일찍부터 선진국들은 자국의 현실에 알맞은 포장표면 조사장비와 프로그램을 개발하여 사용하고 있다. 국내의 경우 고가의 외국장비와 프로그램을 수입하여 사용하고 있으나 많은 문제점으로 인해 국산 장비와 포장표면 분석 프로그램 개발의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 아스팔트 포장표면 분석 프로그램 개발을 위한 선행연구이다. 본 연구의 초점은 이미지프로세싱 기술을 이용한 포장표면 분석 원리를 규명하고 포장이미지의 특성 및 포장이미지의 노이즈를 효과적으로 제거하기 위한 알고리즘을 실험하는 것이다. ARAN(Automatic Road Analyser)의 균열맵을 분석 샘플로 이용하였으며, 포장이미지의 통계적인 특성, 히스토그램, FFT(Fast Fourier Transform)영상을 분석하여 일반적인 이미지에 비해 노이즈와 고주파 성분이 많고, 배경과 균열 분리가 어려운 특성을 규명하였다. 또한 노이즈 제거를 위해 다양한 필터를 적용하여 실험한 결과 마스크 크기가 3X3인 중간값 필터가 가장 효과가 좋은 것으로 나타났다.

한국고유종 북방종개 Iksookimia pacifica (Pisces: Cobitidae)의 연령 및 산란기 특징 (The Age and Spawning Characteristics of the Korean Endemic Spine Loach, Iksookimia pacifica (Pisces: Cobitidae) in the Bukcheon (stream), Korea)

  • 북방종개 Iksookimia pacifica의 연령 및 산란기 특징을 밝히기 위해 2013년 1월부터 12월까지 강원도 고성군 북천에서 조사를 실시하였다. 전장빈도분포도를 이용하여 연령을 추정한 결과 암컷은 산란기 (7월)를 기준으로 전장 30~49 mm는 만 1년생, 50~74 mm는 만 2년생, 75~99 mm는 만 3년생, 100~124 mm는 만 4년생, 130~160 mm는 만 5년생 이상으로 추정되었다. 성비 (♂/♀)는 0.63이었으며 암컷이 수컷보다 30~60 mm가 더 컸다. 이차 성징인 수컷 가슴지느러미의 골질반은 부화 후 13개월 후에 생성되어 암 수가 구별되었다. 산란기는 생식소성숙도로 추정한 결과 7~8월 (산란성기 7월)로 추정되었으며, 포란수는 $2,503{\pm}1,337$개, 성숙난의 크기는 $1.11{\pm}0.04mm$였다.
